HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL, BIOLOGICAL OR NOT, YOU ARE ALL SPECIAL!
"Daddy!" Maria runs over to the opening house door to hug her father when his red orbs lock with her own. She freezes looking behind herself to Amy.
"Mom?"
"Oh Maria, how about you call Uncle Sonic? We'll be in the kitchen." Amy tries to gently reassure.
The pink furred, ebony stripes hoglet nods to her mother. But still swiftly, embraces her father.
"Happy Father's Day, I love you Daddy." That gets Shadow smiling, kissing her quilled bob-cut head.
With Maria running off out of sight. Amy silently walks into the HUGE kitchen. Her apple pie baking in the oven.
Shadow sits at the table, as Amy's movements are the only noise around them. A few minutes pass, the apple pie rests on a plate in front of her husband.
"Rouge and Omega are alright." His first words as he plucks the fork into the apple pie.
Amy nods with a tiny smile now at least. Her emerald green eyes never leave his face. After his 3rd mouth full of apple pie, he sighs placing the fork down.
"Delicious Rose, but it's always expected." He smiles beautifully at her across him.
"Glad it could brighten your spirits My Tough Guy."
As Shadow opens his muzzle, he stops as his triangle ebony furred ears twitch. The door knob turning, quickly glancing to the front door from the kitchen entrance. Both rise up getting closer smiling as Blaze holds it open. The key they gave her carefully in her left white gloved hand.
Golden eyes sparkle turning over her right shoulder blade. Sonic with their daughter atop his head quills walks inside.
"Yo Shades, Ames. Where's my niece?" The Blue Blur smirks as his wife Blaze kisses his left cheek.
"MARIA!"
"BRENDA!"
Sonic doesn't have time before Brenda practically pulls out his quills getting to the floor. Both 8 year olds bolt into the living room.
Blaze smiles softly watching her Mini Me run with her "cousin". Yet looking to Shadow, Blaze immediately embraces him.
"Would you want me to do something?"
"Not necessary, but thanks." Shadow smiles at his co-worker. G.U.N pushes the annoyance on both of them from time to time.
Sonic pulls Blaze under his right arm, smiling sadly at Shadow. But his long black nose twitches sniffing the air.
"Go on Faker." Shadow fondly rolls his red eyes, Sonic bolts into the kitchen. Yet Amy swiftly grips his arm, smiling. "Leave some for the girls." The sweetly spoken but edge threat is there.
Blaze softly laughs. She and Amy both embrace Shadow.
"Anything they throw at us, we will handle with honor." Blaze smiles as Amy nods. Both kissing Shadow on the cheeks.
The Ultimate Lifeform smiles letting his Rose and Blaze lead him into the living room where the girls are playing Candy Land.
