September

Yuffie was talking to Miranda, who was quickly trying to relay information to Yuffie about Heidegger's future visit to the Busy Bee. Yuffie was eating her food, appearing uninterested in the things her informant was saying, but she was very much taking note of it all.

"My friend is coming by to visit this weekend. She's a model. Loves all things digital. Only problem is that her boyfriend, a content creator, may come with us. It might be fun… or it could be a bust. What are you up to this weekend?"

Yuffie frowned at her. Seriously? Leave it to Tuesti to shove himself into a meeting and keep them from getting the juicy bits.

"I think you should go." Miranda smiled at her, moving down the bar to assist another customer, the burger in front of her looking less appetizing. Yuffie was glad she wasn't in it alone, but this other operative was new… and she wasn't sure how suspicious Heidegger still was, but she couldn't think like this… she needed to focus and stay positive. If she could catch him now she could go home sooner.

The bell rang and Yuffie cursed as she saw Vincent's coworkers enter the bar. She made eye contact with Miranda and motioned for the check, mumbling about how they drank a lot for parole officers. Miranda giggled, taking the payment and moving to take Reno and Rude's orders.

"Ms. Akagi." Yuffie turned to find Vincent behind her. She smiled, checking the time on her phone, still an hour before check in, it was fine. She wasn't going to point out that the last time he was at this bar he had texted her 'inappropriately.' It had been almost a month already and he had maintained a very professional relationship with her. She was glad, lest she get distracted because she felt she needed to get laid.

"Hiya Mr. Valentine." He smiled at her and Yuffie was glad she was sitting, because she swore she would've swooned.

"I apologize for interrupting your meal." Yuffie closed her container, waving him off as she moved to stand and leave the bar, allowing Miranda to do both of her jobs while Yuffie prepared herself for the next day.

"Nah, I have to leave anyway, lots to do tonight." He raised an eyebrow, curiosity there below the surface and Yuffie smirked.

"Oh? Any fun plans?" She shifted her weight, trying to determine if he was making small talk or if he was actually interested in what she would be doing tonight, beyond the parole officer asking his parolee what she was doing.

"Oh yes. I plan on robbing a bank tonight." She crossed her arms as she gauged his reaction.

"Is this another slang term I hear younger folks talking about?" He didn't bother taking her bait but challenged her to bring up last month's interactions. She bit her lip as she smiled.

"Yes, King. It's actually code for "I have zero plans and am a complete bore."" Reno called out behind Vincent, asking him what he wanted to drink before waving him off and informing him he was ordering Vincent a shot of whiskey.

"Shame. Sounds like you need to have a good time." He stared at her too intently, if you asked her, and Yuffie broke eye contact, her face blushing. Miranda met her gaze and moved to watch Vincent. Yuffie spun, using Vincent to block Miranda from seeing his darkening stare and reading the embarrassment on Yuffie's face. She laughed and waved him off animatedly and she could see him shaking himself out of his thoughts.

"Sorry, I'm a parolee, no fun for me," She reminded both of them, albeit with a touch of disappointment.

"Shit. I'm sorry Ms. Akagi. I didn't mean to imply-" Yuffie cut him off, her hand raised and he was silenced immediately.

"It's fine Mr. Valentine. You remain professional in my eyes." Vincent didn't stop her when she said she had to go and bid him goodbye, rushing past Reno on her wait out.

The Busy Bee was all about entertainment. The dress she had bought was a solid white. It was asymmetrical at the top, one shoulder bare while the material stretched across the left, a large diagonal cutout allowing a peek-a-boo of her bosom. Along her midriff there was a circular cut out, giving the dress a sunburst appearance. It came mid thigh and Yuffie pulled at it each time she sat then stood. Her shoes were high heeled, but chunky instead of stilettos, the thin straps coming to just below her knee.

Her eye makeup was also done. It was more than she would usually do, but Busy Bee called for all out, not the bare minimum where people would question her for the lack of makeup. Her eyes were lined perfectly, false eyelashes applied as well. While the overall eye was a smokey eye, there was silver and glittery eyeshadow as well. Her face was lightly contoured and a light dusting of holographic highlighter and a light pink lip gloss completed the look.

She was in the private car and on her way to the Busy Bee when Vincent called her. When she accepted the call, Vincent appeared, he was still at the office and Yuffie shook her head at how much he worked.

"Oh! Sorry, let me get the light." She flipped the switch above her in the car, her face illuminating on her screen, Vincent looking over at her, down casting his eyes before he looked up again, his mouth slightly open. Yuffie smiled, speaking.

"Hiya Mr. Valentine!"

"Ms. Akagi… you look…" he cleared his throat, looking away before he shuffled some papers in front of him.

"Good, I hope?" She finished for him.

"You look amazing. I apologize. I wasn't aware you were on a date. We can keep this short." She bit her lip and looked away. It was nice for him to compliment her, even if he was wrong about her date. She debated correcting him, but he was already moving on.

"Did you see Nanaki today?"

"Yes. Stayed for the whole forty five minutes. We discussed my knowledge and abilities to manage my own funds."

"Good. Did you have work today?"

"No. It's Zack's birthday. Are you going to the party, by the way?" Vincent looked up from his check list, surprised she knew about Zack's birthday party, probably. However, Tifa had never failed to invite her to events, she just typically said no, not wanting to be surrounded by cops or people who would lock her up if they knew who she really was.

"Ahem. Yes, I am. Just as soon as this call is over."

She smiled nodding.

"Sorry I had this prior engagement before I knew. If I didn't expect it to take until almost 9:45 I'd've stopped by to say hi and wish him a happy birthday."

"It is of no concern. He'll be drunk by the time I arrive, I'm sure," she giggled, he was probably right, Zack wasting no time in taking shots when he got to the bar.

"Well, you should join him in drinking tonight. Iunno how you work so much with no fun." Yuffie looked up from her phone, the Busy Bee coming into view and Yuffie knew she'd have to end the call before she got in or risk turning off the video and having him question it.

"I will try. Enjoy your date, Ms. Akagi." Vincent went to move to hit the button and Yuffie didn't waste time.

"It's not a date."

"I'm sorry?"

"I'm not on a date… I'm going out with a girlfriend. I'm not… meeting some guy." She blushed, not making eye contact and bringing her hand to her face.

"Understood. Goodnight." He smiled back at her, this time the smile reached his eyes and Yuffie hung up before she squealed. It couldn't just be her. She truly felt that he was interested, even if it was only physically. She wondered if she could ask for another officer to take her case… then she could actually initiate something with him, cause she was sure he would never, especially if she was still his parolee.

Yuffie stepped into the Busy Bee, the lines shorter considering the show had already started at 8:00. She showed her ticket and moved into the theater. The theater had been cleared out of the auditorium seating and instead it was filled with tables for small groups of two or four. The tables were lit with candles, the show already beginning and the girls dancing on stage.

Yuffie moved to her table for two. It was to be occupied by Katya, the girlfriend she was supposedly meeting. Katya was already sitting in her black, glitter cocktail dress, a contrast to Yuffie's. Her purse was on the table, similar to Yuffies but a different color. Yuffie sat and the two began a casual conversation of catching up.

Katya had only just been promoted to operative, the girl having trained with Yuffie but struggled in hand to hand combat. Because of this, she hadn't been allowed to head any missions, merely being a conduit between two lead operatives. Yuffie didn't mind working with someone with less experience and Katya didn't seem to mind her role, playing it perfectly.

Two tables ahead and one table over, Yuffie could see Heidegger's large form. Next to him was Rufus Shinra, the playboy hair and long coat a dead give away. Reeve Tuesti was nowhere to be found and Katya told her she hadn't seen him either. She gave Katya the signal, intent on bugging the table and listening for any incriminating information.

The blonde moved, standing and walking over to the table. She walked past them once, not looking or paying any mind to them at all, as she was pretending to snap a photo of the girls on stage. She took a few more and returned, pretending to drop the phone on the way back, right in front of Shinra.

The douche didn't bother reaching for the dropped item, but it didn't matter, Katya wasn't trying to interact with them, merely leaving the bug on the floor and continuing on. Yuffie watched her apologize and move away, Rufus disinterested, but Heidegger watched her, Yuffie rolling her eyes as he invited her to sit down.

She sat for a second, Yuffie taking Katya's second phone to control the bug, trying to get it get close enough to hear both Rufus and Heidegger. Katya was giggling at something Heidegger had said, his hand on the back of her chair before Rufus appeared to cut them off, Katya's smile dropping and shaking Heidegger's hand before she moved. Yuffie also stood, leaving the main room and meeting Katya in an upstairs box room before Heidegger's gaze could follow her back.

The two listened to the conversation, Katya making sure the recording was saved to her flash drive on her small tablet as Yuffie wrote down aspects of the conversation that would give Sonon something to check out or look into. Yuffie had gained more information on what they had already given the northern continents, and just how much damage had been done from the stolen funds. Yuffie had smirked at Katya, thank Leviathan she hadn't gone to prison for nothing.

"Where's that pretty blonde… I need something to warm my bed tonight."

"Keep it in your pants, Heidegger. Don't forget what happened to the last girl you dated."

"Akagi? That bitch! The state still hasn't recovered the funds, by the way. I blame our great president."

Yuffie assumed he was smirking at Rufus.

"The funds don't matter. Have you spoken to your contact in the North Continent?"

"Yerh! He wants a dozen fighter jets." A pause. "He also wants to hire a hit."

"Who's the target?"

"Heidegger! Shinra!"

Yuffie cursed. Of fucking course Reeve Tuesti showed up at this point.

She threw the head set off and began pacing the room, Katya still listening as she transcribed the conversation. Yuffie grabbed some water, reading behind Katya as she typed.

"Just our luck," she checked her phone, the time already 9:15, "I can't stay much longer, what do you need from me?"

Katya looked up from her computer and motioned for Yuffie to grab the headset, the girl's hand waving urgently. Yuffie rushed to the headset, slipping it on her head, catching just the end of the message.

"-Kusakabe."

"I'll send someone."

Yuffie cursed, not catching the entire conversation before she looked back at the transcript.

Who's the target?

Sonon Shimada

Yuffie gave Katya the order to continue, she grabbed Katya's phone, dialing Sonon's number.

"Loki's Pizza, can I take your order?" Yuffie was pacing back and forth still and she cursed her heels. They weren't good for pacing, Yuffie tripping slightly, the chair catching her.

"Sonon, it's Yuffie."

"I'm sorry? This is Loki's Pizza." She groaned, trying to get him to shut up. He knew who was calling and he of course recognized her voice.

"SONON!"

"I think-" He's an idiot… how was he in charge of her life?

"Spoken Joy. Leviathan, just listen!"

"Are you and Katya okay?" At least he stopped trying to sell her pizza.

"Yes, Heidegger's putting a hit on you, we gotta get you out."

"What? No way. I'm fine." He was whining. Sonon could take care of himself, but Yuffie didn't know if the hitman would come from the Northern Continent or it would be a Shinra operative.

"I'm not arguing with you. Get out or I'll pull the dad card." Katya looked at her from the corner of her eye, a small smirk on the corner of her mouth. Yuffie wasn't above using her father's name to throw her weight around.

"Alright! Alright! Let me get a few things together. I'll be out next week, but I'm still involved, this is as much mine as it is yours!"

"I just need you to be safe Sonon!"

He agreed and told Yuffie it was almost time for Cinderella to get home. Yuffie looked down at the time, 9:37. She cursed, telling him she would check in to make sure he was safe before she bid Katya good night.

Yuffie was running up the stairs, her shoes pounded against the stairwell. She unlocked the door and fell into the apartment, huffing as she smiled, glad she made it on time. She looked at her phone, but there was no one calling. She frowned. So she didn't have to run up the stairs?

She placed her phone on her wireless charger, going to the bathroom before moving to the kitchen to grab some water. She stood, debating what she was going to do about Heidegger. They had recordings of the information exchanged but Yuffie didn't think it was enough. Sometimes Yuffie just wished her father would put the hit out on Heidegger, but alas, that was not how they worked…

She could hear her phone ringing and ran back to the bedroom, accepting it.

"Ms. Akagi." Vincent appeared, probably in the back room of Seventh Heaven since there was very little noise but plenty of liquor behind him. Yuffie smiled, waving and backing up to show that she was in fact in her room.

"You made it home in time," Vincent nodded and Yuffie laughed, looking at her empty wrist and back at Vincent knowingly, the time well past 10:00 p.m. "Wellllll."

"I apologize," he said, rubbing the back of his head as he looked embarrassed.

"No need to apologize, Mr. Valentine. You deserve to go out and have fun. Which by the way… why are you not having fun and taking shots?"

He cleared his throat and looked behind the phone, presumably at the door.

"There was… an… unexpected visitor. Aerith is running interference. I've been back here for about 20 minutes now."

Yuffie's mouth dropped in surprise, "Twenty minutes?! Why are you hiding!? And if you've been in the room for twenty minutes, why did you call me late?"

The phone turned away from him, Yuffie staring at the ceiling as she crossed her arms and looked at him disappointed. He didn't answer immediately, and Yuffie decided to remove her shoes, going back to sit on the bed while she waited.

"Mr. Valentine," she called out, her first shoe off as she stretched and rotated her feet. He appeared again, rubbing at his face, his hand covering him from her.

"Ms. Akagi," his jaw was clenched as he watched her and Yuffie crossed her legs, leaning forward.

"Why are you hiding?"

"If you knew her, you'd understand." Yuffie stood, removing the earrings she had on and tossing them on her night stand as he spoke.

"I don't know, Mr. Valentine. You must have done something right to have her crazy over you." Vincent chuckled and Yuffie smiled before she asked her other question, "So what took you so long to check in, you are usually very prompt."

Vincent didn't answer, watching her as Yuffie squatted in front of her phone, her arms loosely crossed and resting on her knee.

"I…" he paused, not answering and Yuffie raised an eyebrow at him, trying to wait him out.

"I didn't want to interrupt your night," he exhaled, as if he had been holding in a secret and Yuffie tried to keep the smile off her face. He was cute when he was bashful.

"Well that's very thoughtful of you, but like I said earlier, I wasn't on a date."

There was a knock on the door where Vincent was and he bid her good night before ending the call abruptly. Yuffie frowned, turning away from her phone, moving to undress and get ready for bed. Cloud had scheduled her for the next day.

Yuffie rolled over and checked her phone messages. She blushed and squealed as she read them.

Vincent Valentine (P): I apologize for hanging up so abruptly. (22:45)

Vincent Valentine (P): You'll have to forgive me, I've drank too much. (0024)

Vincent Valentine (P): You looked absolutely beautiful tonight. (0024)

Vincent Valentine (P): I'm really glad you weren't on a date. (0025)

Yuffie Akagi: ? ? ? ? (06:30)

It wouldn't be until later that he responded and despite his response, she remained in a good mood.

Vincent Valentine (P): Please excuse my drunken behavior. (11:36)

Yuffie Akagi: I don't mind. But we can keep it our secret. (11:40)

He didn't respond after that, but he did check in later that night, keeping it professional and Yuffie didn't miss the apprehension. It was clear he was struggling to not apologize again and able to maintain his professional persona. She knew better than to push him one way or the other

October

It was Friday the 13th and Yuffie was on her way to check in with Vincent. She had decorations in her arms, intent on decorating Vincent's office. He had still been very distant since having called her beautiful two weeks ago and she was hoping to break through his professional exterior.

Pushing the door open, she walked down the hallway that led to Vincent's door, a plastic covering on the door that read, "Happy Birthday!" She frowned, knocking before she opened the door without waiting to see Vincent reading a birthday card.

"Mr. Valentine? It's your birthday today," She was still examining the door as she closed it, turning to fully face him, Vincent looking up at her from the card.

"Hm. Unfortunately." He placed the card down and it didn't escape her notice that he had covered it with her file.

"How old are you?" She sat down in front of him, her bags settling next to her on the floor as she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes, questioning him.

"Forty-six," she didn't buy it. No way he was forty six. A smirk on the corner of his lip told her he was joking with her.

"Ah, yes. Grandpa."

"I'm twenty seven today," Yuffie looked at him with fake surprise before she leaned over and pulled out a fake stuffed raven and placed it on his desk, removing the mantel clock on his desk and placing it on the chair next to her.

"What are you doing?" He didn't move to stop her, just watched as she pulled fake spider webs and began draping it over his book shelves, Yuffie grabbing the tape off of his desk to hold the webs in place.

"Sprucing up the place. It's gonna be Halloween, come on your birthday is in October, you gotta love halloween… all things spooky?" He shook his head, rubbing his brow as she pulled fake spiders from the bag and placed them on the webs. She repeated the process on another shelf before she heard Vincent begin her check in.

They went through the motions, was she still employed, how much money was she making, was she keeping up her counseling meetings with Nanaki, and then he requested her bills, pay stubs, and journals. Yuffie informed him she had already emailed them to him, the girl continuing her decorating.

Vincent was on his computer checking his files when Yuffie stood on the chair, reaching for the fan to place bats on it. She then moved the chair to the wall, placing more bats of varying sizes at varying heights.

"I think that's enough." Vincent was standing, presumably to stop her. She pulled the bat out of reach, Vincent's hands reaching for the bats and Yuffie shook her head, her shirt lifting and she saw Vincent's eyes draw down towards her exposed skin.

"Nah-uh!" She teased as she turned back to finish placing the bat on the wall. She was done, but she was had one more item to give him. It was a cauldron, but with a handle. It was the cutest coffee mug she had found in her opinion.

"Now it's enough." Yuffie turned, standing above him, his eyes darting back up to her eyes. She narrowed her gaze, a smirk forming on her mouth as she suspected he was staring at her butt. He rubbed his face and turned around, Yuffie placing her hand on his shoulder as she hopped down from the chair. He walked around his desk and Yuffie stood in front of it. She held her hand out for the drug test and Vincent shook his head, telling her he had determined it was no longer relevant as she had never tested positive for drugs nor was it an issue she had previously and thus had requested the state's resources be used more appropriately.

"Oh… thanks," She was glad she could stop handing her pee over to Vincent and she sat down, waiting for the next part of their meeting, where Vincent stared at her while he gave her time to determine if there was anything she wanted to share or discuss with him.

Yuffie grabbed her phone and put on a five minute timer, placing it in front of them with a smile. Vincent frowned, but waited. He stared at her and she looked around the room, content with the decorations but believing she still could've done more.

"There is something I'd like to share…" Her eyes landed on him as he leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed in front of him.

"Yes, Ms. Akagi?"

"I'm… sad." She put on her best, managing to make her eyes glisten with fake tears.

"Go on." He was very professional, Yuffie noted.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me it was your birthday today."

"Ms. Akagi-" He was cut off as his door burst open, a tall brunette with long hair in a lab coat already talking and interrupting their meeting.

"Vincent! We need to talk, this is ridiculous. You can't ignore me forever!" Vincent's eyes were wide with surprise and looked from Yuffie to the other woman. Yuffie sat up, was this Lucrecia?

"Lucrecia, now is not the time." Vincent was moving to stand, Yuffie trying to hide the smirk on her face.

"Well when is a good time? You've ignored me for two months now!" Yuffie was impressed. Guess her suggestion had worked. Although Yuffie was disappointed Lucrecia hadn't taken the hint and moved on from Vincent either. She should know her worth too.

"Not while I'm working and in a parolee check-in." Lucrecia seemed to have noticed Yuffie for the first time, the younger girl giving a small wave and large smile. Lucrecia frowned and lifted her finger, pointing at Vincent.

"I'm not leaving until you speak to me. I'll be outside the door."

"Absolutely not." Vincent was escorting her out, Yuffie considered it pushing her out but she wasn't going to call him out.

Yuffie ping-ponged back and forth, Lucrecia appearing to become more frazzled and Vincent appearing to lose more and more of his cool attitude. Vincent moved her out of his office and locked the door before stepping over to the phone and calling either Reno or Rude, asking them to remove Lucrecia from the building. Yuffie stared at him, her face neutral. Her phone interrupted them, five minutes up and she smiled brightly.

"Oh, guess there's no more time to talk about me and my feelings." Vincent sighed and apologized to her, Yuffie waving him off.

"Happy Birthday, Mr. Valentine," she stood with her plastic bags, blowing him a kiss as she tossed the bags into the garbage on her way out. Vincent didn't stop her but she heard the door lock behind her.

It was Halloween and Yuffie was going to Seventh Heaven for a costume party… until 9:45 p.m. at which point she would have to run home and spend the rest of the night alone. Stupid parole terms. She had asked Vincent if there was ANY way she could be out longer and he apologized that it wasn't within the terms of her release. She didn't want to make it difficult for him and so she dropped it.

She was dressed as a ninja, and Yuffie didn't bother defending her choice in making it a scantily clad one to a single person. She hadn't slipped on her knee high boots yet, but she had the shortest leather shorts on, her thighs on full display. The costume had come with belts that wrap themselves around her legs and Yuffie had laughed at the lack of usefulness, they didn't even pretend to have pockets. There were two sashes, a black one that fell between her legs, a pointed edge that landed at her knees and a red sash that was merely there for decoration. The top was cropped and hugged her breasts yet still managed to have a semi deep v-cut. Her arms were adorned with more red ties and her wrists were wrapped in thick black straps. Sonon would have died laughing at her for how silly the costume was.

The final touch was a hood that was tied at her neck. There was a mask that covered the lower half of her face but Yuffie didn't think she needed it for people to know what she was… Yuffie was slipping on a boot when a knock startled her. She called out, asking who it was and her eyes widened when she realized it was Vincent. She looked down at herself. He knocked again, reminding her she had to open promptly. She exhaled, understanding he was being kind with his reminder, he had the right to open her door without asking. She hobbled over to the door and opened it, the hood falling over her face as he stepped through.

"Ms. Akagi?"

"Sorry! I'm on the way out! I didn't think you'd come by on Halloween to search me." She pulled the hood off, leaning over to zip up the first boot and moved to slip on the second.

"I apologize." He closed the door behind him and followed her to her couch, Yuffie huffing as she zipped up the second boot and stared at him from the couch.

"I know, just doing your job, but the party does start soon. Can we make this quick?" Vincent nodded, moving to her bedroom and began rummaging through her things. He was always careful with her stuff, but it usually took him a long time to do so, ever thorough in his job. Yuffie moved past him, going into the bathroom in order to apply her makeup. She was halfway through her makeup routine when Vincent knocked on the bathroom door, Yuffie grabbing her eye makeup in order to continue in her bedroom while he searched the bathroom. It was a mess but Yuffie tried not to think about him going through her dirty laundry and her drawer of girl things.

The bathroom was done quickly, Yuffie only just finishing one eye as Vincent walked through and moved to her living room. Two complete eyes later and Yuffie met Vincent in the living room again, the officer stepping out of her closet and moving to her desk drawers. There was very little in the drawers and Vincent moved to her computer, plugging in his USB drive to run a program that would check for any hidden files, calculate suspicious searches, and determine if there were any documents or emails Vincent needed to delve into further. It took about five minutes and Yuffie didn't want to wait.

"Am I guilty of anything?" She smirked at him as she grabbed her phone, the program still running.

"No. And I expect this to be all clear." He stood taller, seemingly nervous but Yuffie knew that couldn't be true.

"You gonna search me?" She spread her arms out and waited. Vincent raised his eyebrow, his eyes moving down the shape of her and Yuffie felt herself warm and she shifted her stance, hoping he'd take the invitation to touch her. He looked away and answered negatively, Yuffie nodding as she dropped her hands and brought them behind her, innocently. The program beeped, displaying 'No Results.' He removed his USB and moved toward the door.

"Enjoy your night, Ms. Akagi." He left quickly and without a backward glance. Yuffie sighed. He could've taken the bait… Yuffie wouldn't have minded in the least.

Yuffie was drunk. And it was only 9:15. She rubbed at her face, finding Tifa, tripping and falling into the bar.

"Teef!" The older girl turned toward her and smiled knowingly at her. She called Cloud, the man coming over and lifting Yuffie with ease. She laughed and leaned into him, congratulating Tifa on having such a strong guy. He walked her towards the car, Tifa coming with to make sure Yuffie reached her apartment safely.

Tifa had her brush her teeth, take some medicine, clean her face and change into her night clothes before locking up and leaving Yuffie to sleep it off.

While Yuffie laid in bed, her phone rang, struggling to answer it as her vision was slightly blurred.

"Ms. Akagi," she hummed, hearing his voice on the line, her eyes closed.

"Vinceennntt," she giggled.

"Are you home?"

"Mmm. Yes. In bed, too." She rolled over, attempting to turn on the light but missing it completely, the lamp falling to the floor with a loud crash. Yuffie started giggling, an oops leaving her as she stood to put it back in order.

"Are you alright?"

"If I say no, will you come over," she was smirking… or at least what she hoped was a smirk. She got back into bed, the phone laying on her stomach as she laughed into her pillow.

He didn't answer and Yuffie had dozed off before sitting up and grabbing her phone. He was still there, the phone facing the ceiling.

"Vince?"

"Yuffie?" He lifted the phone, his face coming into view and she realized he didn't have a shirt on. She groaned slightly, needing to distract herself

"What time is it?" She needed water… she stumbled out of her room and into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water and chugging it.

"It's after 11," She choked on the water slightly, looking at the time on her phone.

"Why are you still on the phone," she asked incredulously. She brought the phone to her face, recognizing how drunk she was. She wasn't even wearing makeup. She probably looked horrible. She pulled it away from her, Vincent still in the camera, the lights low in his…bedroom?

"I wanted to make sure you were okay," his voice was groggy and she believed he had fallen into a light sleep before she woke him up. She whimpered in embarrassment, also the tightening in her abdomen at how good he sounded.

He was staring at her now, his eyes darkening at the sound she made. She covered her face and ran back to her room, laying back down, the blanket covering her.

"I'm okay. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you," she peeked out of her hiding and Vincent was no longer on the screen.

"It's no problem. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything," his tone was sincere.

"Okay," she said, her voice small, but still slurred and dragged out.

"Good night, Ms. Akagi."

"Good night, Mr. Valentine."

Yuffie Akagi: I'm sorryyy. I didn't mean to bother you. (2323)

Yuffie Akagi: Also please ignore menwhat I'm saying. Im rlly druk righttnow but Im okayayyy. (2323)

Yuffie Akagi: Tiffaaaaaa. I just saw hhiimm without his shirtttttttt. Oky lpkoe not all the way buutt i may gave have liked moaned. Girrrrllll (2324)

Yuffie Akagi: He's sooo hot do yu think theyll lt me chage my parole officers? (2325)

Yuffie fell asleep before Tifa could respond.
