Chapter six:

Hikaru meets them when they pull up to the entryway.

"Uncle Hikaru!" Rowan and Kayson call rushing over to embrace their uncle happily upon seeing him.

Hikaru hugs both of them back with a warm chuckle. "Hey kids!" He greets with a wide smile at seeing them. "Hopefully the drive here was alright."

Kaoru finds a small smile coming to his lips at seeing this reunion happen. He approaches and causes Hikaru to turn to him with a sympathetic smile. He only manages to smile softly. "Hey."

"Hey." Hikaru moves closer while the two kids practically hang off of him with his arms keeping them from falling. He almost has to hobble in a slightly amusing way to even move around. "You doing okay?"

Kaoru wants to say no though he doesn't want to worry the kids who turn to him. "I am okay. Just still a bit angry." He tells his brother sharing a look which tells his twin that he is still really upset and heartbroken about this. He knows that to outsiders it looks like just a look to each other though to them they can read what is being said.

Hikaru nods his head to this. "Well the others are inside." He nods towards the mansion as he mentions the host club members. "We are all discussing what we are going to do. I am sure that they will be so happy to see you again."

Kaoru does like the sound of seeing his close friends again. "Thanks. I think I will go say hi."

"Great." Hikaru gently headbutts Kaoru's cheek in a comforting manner for the two of them. "I'll make my way in with the kids." He starts hobbling along towards the front door with the two kids giggling at the game of how long they can stay on their uncle.

Kaoru can't help a small chuckle at watching them. He heads inside ahead of his brother and kids. He heads to the living room upon hearing the others voices.

They all stop and turn to him before rushing over to embrace him in a big hug of all of them at once.

Kaoru feels glad that he did come here as it feels great to be surrounded by the care and support of his friends who have become like family.

"We won't let him get away with this freely." Tamaki promises with tears in his eyes at the whole situation that Kaoru is in.

Kyouya manages to adjust his glasses on his face, with the lenses hiding his eyes via the glare of the light on the lenses, without letting go of the hug and he almost seems to be planning an assassination. "If you need a lawyer for a divorce that will get the best for you I have one that will do fantastic. Your reputation won't be harmed and it will send all the blame to that bastard. He can wallow in the mistakes he has made all by himself. If you want you could also get Haruhi here to be your lawyer."

"I wouldn't mind doing that." Haruhi mentions in agreement with her gaze showing her anger towards the one who had dared to do such a thing in the first place.

"Mommy." Tamaki looks to Kyouya at this with tears still in his eyes. "All of that is probably all too soon for him! Let Kaoru at least relax a while first." His use of the name for Kyouya remained as the two managed to get married after Tamaki's grandmother passed away.

The two have since remained like the parents of their group of friends.

Kyouya lets out a breath. "Yes. I suppose so daddy. I am sorry."

"It is okay." Kaoru assures Kyouya who turns to look at him. "Thank you for that. I will keep it in mind for when I decide what it is I am going to do."

Kyouya nods and finally the hug is broken as everyone backs up a little to give Kaoru some space.

Everyone turns as Hikaru finally manages to get into the mansion with the two kids still on him.

"Shota! Kiku! Mei! Yoko! Tao! Hana! Guess who is here!" Hikaru calls out stopping his hobbling with the kids to call all the kids of the friend group family they have. He clearly hopes that this will make Rowan and Kayson let go to go play.

The other kids come rushing over and suddenly tackle Hikaru to the ground with all of the children giggling when this happens.

The group of friends can't help a laugh at Hikaru being swarmed by the children; Even Kaoru laughs at it while Hikaru tries to find a way out of the swarm of children climbing all over him on the floor.

"Let me free!" Hikaru pleads still attempting to get free making the children giggle even more. He finally gives up and lets his body go limp to the floor as he accepts his fate.

"Need help?" Kaoru asks his brother a little teasingly.

Hikaru is about to respond no only for the children to start all trying to lay down on him clearly not having any plans on moving anytime soon. "Maybe." He mutters in defeat so the host club heads over to help him out.

They all grab a kid one at a time lifting them all off placing them on the floor around Hikaru until Hikaru is kid free.

Hikaru hurries to his feet before the kids can swarm him again with the kids giggling like they are planning devious plans. "Thanks."

Tamaki glances around at all of the kids with his fists on his hips though a playful look on his face. "Now you all go run and play. The adults want to sit and talk. Unless you wanna listen and be all bored." He tells them making the kids run off elsewhere in the mansion calling out 'Noooo!' at the suggestion that they listen and be bored. He smirks to himself clearly feeling like he was victorious in that. "There we go." He turns to the others with a smile on his face. "Now then. Let us head back to the living room and relax a bit." He calls for a maid so everyone can get whatever they want to drink or eat while they all settle in the living room.

Kaoru gets the middle spot on the couch with Hikaru to his right and Hunny to his left. He also finds that the others sit either on the floor or in the other couches or loveseats in the living room. "So." He starts as everyone listens to what it is that he wants to say. "How has everyone been?"

The others take turns talking about their lives with some parts standing out to Kaoru more than others.

"Hana is at the top of her class." Tamaki boasts with pride over the daughter that he and Kyouya had gotten Haruhi to surrogate for them.

"Yoko has also been doing well. She may be only four years old but is the first to read in her preschool. The teacher was quite impressed." Kyouya adds as he mentions the daughter that he and Tamaki adopted from an employee of Kyouya's family company who died of cancer with no other family. He has made sure that no one tells Yoko yet since the two had raised her since a baby and they want to wait until she is old enough to truly understand what happened.

"Tao and Mei are getting along so well. It is like looking at how me and Mori used to be." Hunny informs Kaoru who is glad to hear that the twos children are getting along so well. "Shota has been showing a lot of promise as Tao's older sister and being able to do so much to prove that she can take over the company. I am so proud of her. Wait until you see how mature she is getting." He has had two kids with the wife that he had met when going to a huge teddy bear store who he has remained with since.

"Mei has been learning a lot. A great middle sibling to Tao and Shota." Mori mentions since he has remained helping out Hunny like he did in high school. So his child with someone that he met who is from a family who specializes in bodyguard training for the rich is protective of the other two. He isn't married to the woman though the two have been in a serious relationship for a long time, the only reason they aren't married is that the woman believes that marriage ties them both down too much making it harder for them to do their jobs. He has done pretty good at accepting that they can date like they are married without being married. Even if he knows that some others think it is a bit weird.

"I helped a client win a big case recently." Haruhi tells them. "It showed that my client was falsely imprisoned. The reporters were all over the case so I don't doubt that it has aired all over by now. Kiku helped me celebrate with a restaurant I used to go to with my dad on occasion." She mentions her father who has already passed away. She may be divorced from the father who decided to leave when she got pregnant, not ready for fatherhood, though she has gotten anything she could have ever needed in support from her friend group.

"Our family business is thriving!" Hikaru adds his own part. He may not have any kids yet though he also isn't married or dating claiming he hasn't found the right person. "Just yesterday I sent out a new fashion line that sold out in just one hour at the charity fundraiser fashion show. Raised so much for the charity that they sent me a personal thank you gift." He gestures to the painting with all the signed and thank you messages from the charity staff that he has hung on the wall. "I am hoping that the next line will end up doing just as good on store shelves."

Kaoru is glad that everyone has been doing pretty good so far. He finally joins in after hearing out all of his friends. "Well Rowan got to meet her favorite princess Merida while dressed up as her. It was such a sweet moment and she couldn't stop smiling." He shows them the picture making them all go 'Awwww.' at seeing such a happy Rowan with her favorite princess at the Disney park. He smiles too as he momentarily forgets the reason he had to come here in the first place.
