Just a reminder, I still don't own Ouran. Only the Quints and Kyle. Plus a few more OCs...

(Suzette POV)

Unlike many of my siblings at Ouran, I actually did have friends outside of the Host Club. And just because all the resident females fawned over my brother didn't mean that they were his friends. Admirers were not the same, and I believed that we had plenty of admirers and not quite enough friends. In any case, besides Susanna and her artist friends, I had the largest social circle.

And it felt like ages since we had all been able to meet and have lunch together.

"I hear you are still being tutored by Hitachiin-san." Ren said with a slight smirk. "Haven't you managed to get a date with him?"

I crinkled my nose with distaste. "I really could care less for the cretin." Though I really shouldn't have said that so loudly and really I should have a bit grateful since he had help me raise my grade and introduced me to his mother...but that didn't mean I had to show it. My gratitude that is.

"That's so mean to say!" Makoto gasped but then paused to think about what she had said. "Well, he can be mean sometimes but still."

"Just take care that his fan girls don't hear you say that." Emiko huffed before taking a bite of her lunch. "They will try to cause an unfortunate accident for you."

"Worse than having to spend three nights a week with Hikaru-san?" I said with a raised eyebrow. "I don't believe they could think of anything worse."

Makoto frowned before saying, "You know it's interesting that you keep insisting that he doesn't mean anything to you and then you visit the Host Club anyway."

"Just for Tamaki and my siblings." I shrugged and give Ren a warning glare. From past experience, I just knew that she'd want to say something to rile me up. She just loved to make me 'angry,' but usually she said something clever enough that I forgive her right away.

Shinji placed his tray by us and said "Ladies, you can now rest easy. I am here."

"Oh wonderful." Ren rolled her eyes and smiled. "Well, ladies it was a nice lunch while it lasted."

We all laughed, even Shinji who waved his fork at her. "One day you will want to stay on my good side Nagai-san. And I'll remember this day and countless others-"

"And you will still do whatever I say!" She announced with a triumphant smile.

"She has a point there." Emiko nodded and gestured to Shinji. "Happy wife means happy life."

"Oh shush Emiko." Makoto chided. "Ren and Shinji may act like a married couple but they aren't compatible."

"That's right. Shinji will be unable to do anything without Ren scolding him and then doing it over." I said with a satisfied nod. We loved to tease them about their "relationship." Shinji used to be Ren's boyfriend but then they decided they liked being friends better.

Both of them rolled their eyes. Shinji took the seat next to me and asked "so Suzette have you thought about my offer?"

His family owned one of Japan's most successful TV stations and he had offered to get my newest collaboration with Hitachiin Fashion a commercial spot in prime time for a discount. All I had to do was agree to give his mother a one of a kind dress designed by the both of us for a fraction of the cost we would have normally charged.

"Yes, and I talked it over with her. She said that we will offer 20% off a 90,000 yen dress if you get us a spot on the best channel for at least 15% off of what you would normally charge."

"Hmm," He pulled out his phone and tapped in some numbers. "I'll send your counter offer to my mother, but I think she'll take it. The commercial will only be fifteen seconds long."

I shook my head. "Oh no, you said thirty seconds. Unless that is still on the table there is no deal and we will use a different company."

"Business later!" Emiko pleaded before Shinji could say anything more. "We hardly ever see each other since everyone has been so busy. Isn't it a rule of etiquette that people can't discuss business at the dinner table?"

"We're not eating dinner though." Ren pointed out with a smirk. "And Suzette can't help it. She's decided to challenge her perfect sister in order to try and take over the company."

Again I shook my head. "I have many perfect sisters, to which of them are you referring to?"

"Ouch," Shinji commented with an uneasy laugh.

Makoto frowned and said, "Ren, just because you don't like Sara-san doesn't mean you have to make fun of her."

"It's not that I don't like her, it's just that she's a know-it-all. She's always saying the right answers and showing off. It's annoying." Ren huffed and then glanced over to me. "No offense."

I merely stared at her with disapproval. "I realize that she can be intimidating with her knowledge but my sister is brilliant. And if you think she's annoying then what are your thoughts on Ootori-san?"

"Well that's different. He's so handsome and smart." Ren said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"That's a ridiculous double standard." I commented before eating another forkful of my salad. After all, my sister was very beautiful. I would know since I stared at her face every day in the mirror.

Emiko nodded, "I have to agree with Suzette. Sara-san is just as polite as Ootori-san when you ask her for help. She even helped me with my chemistry homework when I complained to Suzette about not understanding."

Makoto's eyes widened. "Really? That was very kind of her."

"Well, she is self-sacrificing." I muttered, thinking of how she went to father's home. I couldn't believe I was so insensitive and forgetful! I had just been so busy thinking about working with Yuzura and having Julia be our model that I had completely forgotten what I was asking her to do.

"Zee, I have to speak with you."

"But this is our time with her. You have her all to yourself at home." Shinji protested with a smile in my direction.

Makoto shyly waved, "Hi Stephen-san. You look nice today."

"And you as well, my dear." Stephen's flirting tone replied from behind me. Her cheeks flushed and she has to fan herself with a napkin. I had better see what he wanted before he really caused a problem with her.

"Where is your girlfriend?" I prompted with a sly smile, as I turned to face him. "I thought you-"

"I mean it Suzette."

With a tone like that, whatever he has to say must have been serious. I stopped smiling and stood up, "Just us?"

"No, Susanna will also be joining us. Sakura is...otherwise unoccupied." Stephen coughed into his arm with the most uncomfortable look on his face. Seeing that almost made made smile again, but then I remembered his tone.

"Then..." I turned back to my table of friends and smiled apologetically. "I should go, but we need to do this again."

Ren rolled her eyes, "If we can. Whenever that will be, our schedules are always so weird!"

Emiko shook her head and waved, "Don't be so dramatic Ren!"

As they started to argue about whether or not she was being dramatic, I picked up my things and followed my brother out the dinning hall. "What is this about Stephen?"

"Didn't Sara say she got in late and went to school before us?" Stephen asked me, but he didn't give me a chance to respond before he started talking again. "She wasn't in any of our classes. Susanna hasn't seen her either. She must still be busy with whatever business she has, that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

My blood ran cold. I was an idiot. I couldn't believe it. I didn't care if it's against the rules, I was calling my sister. "This is my fault."

Stephen looked surprised. "You couldn't have known Suzette. We didn't tell anyone what was going on."

"He hurt you too!?" I nearly shouted. I was so angry and distressed that I almost didn't notice the change in my brother's voice.

"Who's hurting Sara?" The softness in his concerned tone almost made me cry. He seemed almost horrified at the idea and I realized that he had not been talking about the same thing that had been worrying me since I realized that I had asked Sara to take my place.

I placed my phone back into my bag and sighed, "not now, Ben. First tell me what happened."

But unsurprisingly my brother didn't allow me to dance around the question. "Suzette, tell me." He took my hand and furrowed his brow. "Is someone at the school harming her? I know that many of the host club members have 'devoted' fans and she does too."

Oh thank goodness he didn't realize the truth. "Well she does, but I doubt anyone would dare hurt her that way."

"What do you know, Suzette?" His words were measured and slow, much like my sister's when she wanted to be threatening. It would work for my brother too, if his eyes hadn't been so wide and obviously distressed.

"Your news first because obviously mine is wrong if you seem that surprised about my error. Like you I immediately think that something is wrong."

"Suzette!"

"Another time, Stephen. Tell me or I will go back to lunch. I hardly ever get to see my friends." I tried my best to remain calm, but my palms were sweating. I did not believe Sara would be all that pleased if Stephen knew about her troubles because we all knew that he was incapable of keeping secrets.

He stared at me for a good long while before finally saying, "I'm not sure if you're aware of this but Sara and I found something interesting when we visited Korea."

(Unknown POV)

Min Hee was squirming in her seat, trying to get comfortable in such a plush seat.

Honestly I was trying to do the same. I had never been in plane (at least I couldn't remember if I had), much less in a first class seat in one. Luckily the flight is nearly done and in a few moments, we would be in Japan and I would finally receive some answers.

Even though I didn't want to, I had given in and used the tickets the Ice Queen had left for me and Min Hee. With the money stopped and the lady at the Kobayashi Corporation not giving me any answers I had no other choice. I had to see Kobayashi Sara and ask her what is going on.

I needed to take care of Min Hee.

Luckily mom had gotten a passport for her already so I didn't need to pay the fees, but it was a struggle to find someone to house-sit for us while we took this little trip. I couldn't believe I was letting Min Hee miss so much school either!

Mom wouldn't have been happy with me if she was still alive. But then again if she was still alive none of this would be happening. She would have told that spoiled Japanese girl to leave us alone and find some other people to toy with.

Though now that I thought about it, the girl had left us money and some gifts for troubling us.

Still, I wasn't pleased that our perfectly peaceful lives had been interrupted.

"Soo Jin?" My sister said in a small voice. "Are we really going to stay here for a while?" She seemed more uneasy than scared now.

I quickly put on my most reassuring smile. "Yes, I thought it would be a good opportunity for you to practice your Japanese. And we might even see Kobayashi. Wouldn't you like that?"

She immediately perked up. "You mean the princess-like Kobayashi?"

It took all of my willpower not to grind my teeth. "Yes, won't that be nice?"

Min Hee nodded happily and quietly settled back into her seat. But it wasn't long before she decided to ask another question. "Will she meet us at the airport?"

"No." I answered. "No, I don't think so."

And why would she? Though I may have emailed her to inform her of us arriving, I didn't expect anything to come out of it. And I hadn't checked my email since I got on the plane. I should probably do that since I never even waited to see if I had gotten a response. But then again, why would she care?

She had given us those things and these tickets but other than that she wasn't very interested in us...right?

I just liked thinking that this was a mistake. That tomorrow we would get answers and things would return to normal.

I just wanted things to go back to normal.

So so so sorry that this took so long to write! College is much busier than I expected it to be but here is the new chapter.

Tell me what you think in a review! :)
