Icetuft's Plan

So, I just found out that I'm going to be a father and I don't know what to do. Don't get me wrong, of course I want to be a father, but my mate is not a Lightclan cat; not yet at least. My mate, Starthistle, is a rogue that lives on the streets with a group of street cats. From what I was told, it sounds like a terrible place especially if you're raising kits. Plus, the fact that she's is a slave in that group worries me terribly. I don't want my kits to grow up as slaves and I sure as hell don't want Starthistle to keep living like this. But there's more, since she isn't a Lightclan cat, I don't know how my clan is going to react. I was seeing Starthistle around the time Whitestar had become leader, I couldn't bring her back to the clan at first, I knew she wouldn't have liked owning a slave when she herself was one and I also knew that Snaketooth, Daisypetal, and most of the clan, at that time, would've disapproved of Starthistle. But now, now I could bring Starthistle to Lightclan and she wouldn't have to do that. She would be taken care of and our kits could grow up and be warriors and even they would never have to own slaves. Now, I must go see Starthistle and talk about what to do. She's near the day that our kits will be born and the worst part about all of this is that I can't be there for them.

A Few Moons Later

Okay, so I have a plan; I'm going to ask Starthistle to join Lightclan. If she says yes, I need to figure out how to introduce her to Lightclan. Maybe if I tell Lightstar about her, it'll be easier to explain to the clan about me and Starthistle. Plus, since I'm clan deputy, it should be easier to explain to Lightstar and the clan about Starthiste's past as well. However, if she says no, she could stay with Harry, Flower, Petal, and Percy, or maybe she could join Perdyclan. Either choice would be difficult, but I have to keep her and my kits safe and I'll make it work with my duties and responsibilities. However, I'm hoping she says yes, because I honestly don't think either plan will work. Well, I have to go now, wish me luck!
