Two goombas are going to the same college, hoping to become best friends. Little do the the two of them know, they are going to develop romantic feelings for each other. Goombario X Goombella.

12. Depression

Chapter 12: Depression

Narrator: "In petal meadows, for some odd reason, Goombella was digging a hole." "Koops found this behavior very unusual."

Koops: "Why are you digging a hole?"

Goombella: "Mario is going to be dead by the time we find him, so I want to give him a proper burial."

Koops: "Just because someone is missing, it doesn't automatically mean they are dead." "I know what this is, it's about depression." "You're still not over the death of one of your best friends, and you're beginning to lose hope."

Narrator: "Goombella began to cry."

Koops: "Everything will by okay, we'll find Mario."

Narrator: "Koops then gave Goombella a hug to comfort her."

Koops: "You can still find Bobbery in your heart."
