===== Story Start =====

Yesterday was Harry Potter's tenth birthday. However, he didn't receive any gifts like he does every year. Harry lives with his aunt and uncle, who abuse him regularly. Despite being aware of the situation, Harry has not informed his teachers about it because they are good friends with his aunt and uncle. If Harry does reveal the truth, he might face severe consequences from his uncle. Unlike his cousin, Harry does not have a bedroom and is forced to sleep in the cupboard under the stairs. Whenever Harry does something unusual, his family gets angry because they don't like the idea of magic in their house.

Harry is a bright young boy, but unfortunately, he cannot show it. His cousin Dudley performs better in school and tests, which makes Harry feel worse. On top of that, Harry doesn't even know his own name or his parents' names. Before starting school, he thought his name was "freak" or "boy," which is how his uncle and aunt referred to him. However, on his first day of school, he learned that his name is Harry Potter. When he asked his family why they never told him his name, his uncle Vernon beat him severely and locked him back in the cupboard under the stairs. Despite his injuries, Harry's arms healed overnight, which seemed like magic.

Harry is responsible for all the household chores including cooking and cleaning as his aunt insists on it. His uncle beats him if he fails to do so. At school, he is bullied by Dudley and his gang and has no friends. One day, while playing in the playground, Dudley and his gang chased him, a cruel game they call "Harry hunting" or "Freak hunting". They almost caught him but then Harry suddenly teleported to the top of the school roof. The school authorities and the fire service were called to rescue him. After Harry was brought down, his aunt punished him by locking him in his room/cupboard for a week.

Harry sometimes doesn't receive any food when he exhibits his extraordinary abilities. However, the more he contemplates his powers, the more he believes they might be magical. Despite this, he remains unaware of what he's actually doing. One thing Harry does know is that he keeps having the same nightmare about a woman with red hair and green eyes, a bald man with red eyes and a snake-like face, and a white sink. In the dream, the woman asks him to take her, not her baby, but then there's a green light. Harry always wakes up after seeing the green light and wonders if it is real or just a nightmare. He also wants to know if the man that looked like a snake is real.

After having the same nightmare, Harry gets out of his small room, which is a cupboard under the stairs. He opens the door and walks out, closing it behind him. He heads to the kitchen to cook breakfast for his family, as he has done every day for the past five years. Fortunately, it's Saturday, and that means he has to clean all day. Harry thinks to himself, "I just need to wait for someone to help me. But who am I kidding, that's not going to happen!" He continues cooking breakfast for his family, who treat him badly. Suddenly, Petunia, Harry's aunt, walks into the kitchen and stops behind him, calling him a freak.

"Now, boy, make sure this breakfast is good for my lovable Dudley and your uncle too. Now get back to work, you freak!" she said, shouting at him like always.

" Yes, Aunt Petunia," Harry said with an emotionless voice. But inside, he wanted to talk back to her. The other rule in this house was that Harry: or boy or freak, was not allowed to show any emotions to the Dursleys. If he did show emotions, he would either be denied food or beaten by his uncle. Then, Harry's aunt walked back to the living room, not thinking about Harry at all. It had been like this for ten years, and Harry desperately wanted to get out of this house. He dreamed of living with a nice family so that he would not have to do housework again in his life.

After ten minutes, Harry finished cooking breakfast for the Dursleys. Unfortunately, he didn't get anything to eat himself, just like the previous days. After the Dursleys finished eating, Harry took their plates to the sink to wash them. Before he could finish, there was a knock on the front door. Harry wondered who could be knocking at this early hour on a Saturday morning.

"Boy, get the door!" Uncle Vernon shouted.

"Yes, Uncle Vernon," Harry said in the same way he had to his aunt.

Harry walked out of the kitchen and proceeded through the hallway. He approached the front door, unlocked it, and opened it. To his surprise, he saw a stunning woman with blonde hair and blue eyes that resembled the sea. Although she appeared angry, it was not directed towards Harry.

"Yes ma'am " Harry said

"Are you Harry?" she asked

"Yes, I am Harry. Why are you asking for my name? I've never met you before today," Harry asked.

Harry notices her looking upset after he asks her, and he starts to feel worried. "Why is she sad?" he asked himself in his mind

"Harry, my dear, do you know any information about your parents?" she asked.

"Ma'am, the Dursleys they're not my family, if you can even call them that. They said my parents had passed away in a car crash due to drinking. That's why I have this scar on my forehead. Additionally, may I ask why you referred to me as "dear"?" Harry explained.

"I'm sorry, Harry, but that's not right! Your parents are the nicest people I have ever met in my life. You asked me why I called you "dear", and that's because I am your godmother. I apologize for not being able to find you when you were a baby. Unfortunately, people were not willing to disclose your whereabouts. Please don't be angry with me. My name is Elizabeth Greengrass, and the last time I saw you, you were just one year old. You had just met my oldest daughter, Daphne, and you two got along so well as babies. I am pleased to tell you that you are betrothed to Daphne. Seeing you together as babies always brings a smile to my face." Elizabeth said

Harry overhears his uncle shouting at him before he speaks to his Godmother.

"Who is at the door, boy?!" Vernon shouted and asked.

"A woman wants to come in, uncle!" Harry shouted, he was also lying.

"Then let her in!" shouted Vernon.

" Yes, Uncle Vernon!" Harry shouted back

"Well, ma'am, please follow me to the living room," Harry said.

"Of course, good sir," Elizabeth said while playing along with her godson

Harry is allowing his godmother into his aunt and uncle's house, but he's unsure of what to say or do if something terrible happens to her. After she enters the house, they proceed to the living room where she appears to be visibly upset. Harry follows behind her, unsure of what to do next.

"Welcome to our house. I am Vernon Dursley, and this is my wife, Petunia. Our son Dudley is also here with us. I apologize for any negative experience you may have had with my nephew. He can be a bit difficult with new people." Vernon said

"Thank you, Mr. Dursleys, but I am already aware of who you are. You are the relatives of my dear friend Lily. I am extremely disappointed with the way you have been treating Harry. As his godmother, I have decided to take him with me to my home. I want to make it very clear that you should never disclose to him the truth about his parents or his wizarding abilities." Elizabeth spoke with a tone of anger.

"I am a wizard," said Harry to Elizabeth, then turned to Aunt Petunia. "Why didn't you tell me?" Harry asked.

"I know who you are, boy! My sister was normal before she met that Potter boy. Then they got themselves blown up by a dark wizard. After that, Dumbledore left a letter with you and left you on us. Me and Vernon agreed that you must not go back to that freakish world. It killed my sister and broke my family apart. You may leave, boy, and never come back here again!" Petunia said with a lot of anger towards her nephew.

Harry is shocked by what just happened. He discovered that his aunt and uncle knew about his parents but never told him the truth. As a result, Harry is leaving the Dursleys and going to live with his godmother, her family, and his betrothed.

"My godmother just mentioned betrothal, which means we have to get married. I also recall Elizabeth mentioning a girl named Daphne. But, what if she doesn't like me or isn't kind to me?" he thought to himself.

"Harry, do you need to bring anything with you? We're leaving now," Elizabeth asked.

"No, I don't want anything from here, Ma'am," said Harry with a sad look on his face.

"Okay, dear," Elizabeth said.

As they walk out of the living room, Elizabeth opens the front door and lets Harry exit first. She follows him out of the house and closes the door behind her.

"Okay Harry, hold onto my arm please," Elizabeth said.

"Okay," Harry said as he held onto her arm.

They both went with Pop by Disapparating to Greengrass Manor.
