Quinn sauntered her way inside as she entered the Morgendorffer household.

She of all people felt rather abashed about the treatment and lack of respect towards her eldest sister Daria. But she was the cause of it! So, instead of daydreaming all day or gossiping with The Fashion Club, she decided to take action.

She decisively came to the realization that she owed her "cousin", no —not her cousin, her oldest sister, a thoughtful and substantial apology!

"Oh, hi Quinn," Helen muttered flatly while remaining on the call.

"Where's Daria?" Quinn anxiously inquires, waiting with utter impatience for her mother.

"Um, she's in her room," Helen responds quickly just to get Quinn out of her hair.

"Thanks," A grin spreads across her alluring features as she makes her way up to Daria's room.

She takes a deep breath, turns her hand into a fist, and knocks.

"Come in." a monotone voice said as Quinn opened the door reluctantly at first, then opened it all the way with a sudden boost of faith in herself.

"Hey, Daria, can we talk?" Quinn asked.

"Um... sure." The sardonic teenager nodded as she looked up from her book, placing it on her bed before she sat up, adjusting her posture.

"I want to apologize."

"Why?"

"For being a jerk to you and always getting at your throat. I mean you do it to me as a sort of payback, but I still don't think I should treat you the way I do or should I say did. I really let popularity get to my head, to the point of not even considering you my sister in school or just in public near the Fashion Club for that matter. I know I said a couple weeks ago to Sandi that you were my sister, because duh, you are. I mean up to that point, I never considered you my sister in the public eye. I don't really care anymore what they think," Quinn takes a steady breath.

"Oh look, she's related to the brain — well, I mean, only Sandi says that. But you understand, right?" Quinn chuckled slightly.

A small smile grew on Daria's face, as the room grew quiet.

"You don't care what people think, I aspire to be like you because of that. I mean, of course, I want to get in on the newest fashion trends, but, of course, at the end of the day, I shouldn't care what people say about me — unless it's compliments. Then I'm all ears!" Quinn exclaimed.

"I'm not going to be like you, act all cynical and jaded all the time, and get a steady boyfriend. But I will try to treat you better, and hope for you to return that in your own Daria way." Quinn finished.

She pulled her older sister into a hug, but Daria didn't pull away immediately.

"Gee, I feel all smart now." Quinn giggled as she let go.

"Ew, don't get all mushy. I think I'm gonna puke." Daria replied with a deadpan expression.

"I accept your apology, so get out of my room before I change my mind." Daria retorted in a joking manner.

"Well..." Quinn stood up from the bed. "Bye,"

"Sis." She made her way to her room as a grin crease her face.
