"As the smile fell from your face, I fell with it, our faces blue. There's a heart stain on the carpet, I left it, I left it with you. Yeah, the truth is that I'm sorry, though I told you not to worry. I'm just some dumb kid, trying to kid myself that I got my shit together."

Flashback:

"Are you sure about this?" Jin asked for the nth time, his eyes carefully studying the face of the man sitting right beside him.

"Jin, how many times will you ask me this question?" Jungkook sighed, his voice tinged with a hint of exasperation.

"It just doesn't feel…" Jin trailed off. He turned his face to the front and focused on the red stop light, "…right."

Jungkook moved across the center console and reached for Jin's limp hand. He gently intertwined their fingers together and held it tightly, "This feels right," he said. He pulled it towards him and planted a soft kiss on the back of Jin's hand, "This feels right," he repeated.

The corners of Jin's lips quirked upwards, "I thought you were anti-romantic?"

"Love tends to change people they say."

"Is this love?" Jin teased.

"It sure as hell not just lust for me," Jungkook huffed, clearly irritated with the insinuation. He let go of Jin's hand when he noticed the stop light changed to green.

"You're cute when you're all pouty," Jin chuckled as he changed gears.

"I stopped being cute when I turned 18."

Jin couldn't help it, he laughed.

"Ya! Stop laughing. I'm being serious here," Jungkook complained. He combed his fingers through his messy hair and started gathering it into a man-bun, "I'm not a kid anymore so stop calling me cute."

"You will always be a cute bunny to me," Jin replied. He then gave him a side glance, "My bunny."

A tiny smile appeared on Jungkook's lips, "Yours?"

"You're not the only possessive one in this relationship," Jin mumbled almost inaudibly.

Jungkook seemed to be taken aback by Jin's words and was silent for a few minutes. "To answer your question earlier, I'm sure of this, I'm sure of us," he paused and swallowed hard, "I know what I want. I want you, I want us," he added.

Jin looked at him, "Glad we have that settled," he replied with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm glad, too," Jungkook responded, his voice full of conviction, at the moment.

Present:

"Are you still dreading the upcoming trip?" Jin asked as he tore his eyes away from the Webtoon he was reading on his cellphone.

Namjoon let out a heavy sigh as he plopped down beside his Hyung. He leaned back and closed his eyes, seemingly tired from the meeting he just come from. "What else?" he responded.

"Break is over, huh?"

Jin turned towards the hallway and saw Yoongi casually leaning on the door frame, "When did you get in?"

"Just now," Yoongi replied. He walked towards his brothers and sat on the empty couch adjacent to Jin, "Is he still dreading it?"

"It looks like it."

Yoongi relaxed back on the couch and stretched his legs, "I know how stressed you are whenever we travel abroad, but don't overthink it too much."

Jin's eyes moved back to the man sitting beside him, "Namjoon-ah, don't worry too much about it, eh?" he said as he nudged him with his knee.

"I'll brush up on my English skills," Yoongi paused and gestured towards Jin, "And Hyungie will keep the Maknaes in line."

Namjoon opened his eyes, his tiny dimples slowly appearing on his cheeks. "The whole Maknae line? He's already got his hands full with just one, though," he teased.

Jin's ears started to turn a tad bit red, "Ya!"

"Point taken," Yoongi said.

"Of course, I can keep-" Jin's words were cut off when doors started opening and closing with loud thuds.

"JIN. JIN. JAAAANNNN! Where are you?"

"Speak of the bunny and he shall appear," Namjoon laughed.

"We're in here, Jungkook-ah," Yoongi called out, his face full of amusement. He then turned his gaze towards Namjoon, "I think he's turned into a psychic now. He even senses we're with him," he half whispered. He then pointed towards the space between the two, "You might want to put a little bit of space there or you won't hear the end of it."

"You have one hell of a jealous partner, Hyung," Namjoon sniggered as he scooted away from Jin.

"He's not that bad."

Yoongi and Namjoon just rolled their eyes in response.

It has already been seven years since they debuted as an Idol group and they all know there's still a long way to go. They've been getting attention from the international market nowadays so the management has decided that they needed to put out more content, hence, these reality shows that they had to film abroad. The first three seasons weren't easy, they just made it look that way. The stress was too high for all of them, but they still managed to soldier on because they all had one dream.

A week passed after Bang PD told the members that they would be filming another Bon Voyage season after their short vacation. All of the members had mixed emotions regarding this trip; some were thrilled and some were a bit hesitant, but eventually, they came to the consensus that they had to do what they had to do for the ARMYs.

"Are you guys done?" Yoongi asked when he entered the living room with his suitcase.

"You're already done, Yoongi-hyung?" Jimin asked.

"Yes, I didn't bring a lot of stuff," Yoongi replied as he watched the chaos that was happening right in front of him. "Are you trying to pack the whole apartment with you?"

"I'd want to, but unfortunately, I can't," Jimin replied with a chuckle.

"You look good, Jin," Hoseok piped in.

"You look pretty good," Jungkook said in agreement as he watched Jin fiddle with his jacket.

"I look good with whatever I wear," Jin deadpanned.

Namjoon shook his head, noticing the somewhat awkwardness between the lovers.

Jungkook shifted on his feet, "Err…it's nice to see everyone!"

Jin turned towards Hoseok, "I called so many times why haven't you answered?"

"Let's just have dinner at the end of this trip in New Zealand?" Hoseok said with an apologetic smile.

Jin just rolled his eyes at his diversion tactic, "Fine."

"Is that Ramyeon?"

Taehyung smiled sheepishly, "Yeah, I thought we'd need it so I brought them. Are you done packing?"

"Yes, finally," Jimin replied as he plopped down beside his best friend.

"I'm almost done too," Tae replied as he zipped his luggage shut.

"Hoba, you're our accountant for this trip," Namjoon said as he waved the envelope that he was holding.

"Again?" Hoseok asked.

"Yep," Namjoon confirmed.

One of the managers peaked from the corner of the room. "Is everyone ready now?"

"Let's get it," Yoongi said loudly as he grabbed his luggage for the second time.

Tae stared at the empty seat on the bus with a puzzled look, "We have designated seats?"

"Yes, the filming will start now," Jin replied. He patted the space beside him, "Hyung promises not to steal your food, Taehyungie," he teased.

"He's not allowed to bring food, hence, his long face," Jimin snorted. He sat down on his seat and gave Jungkook a side glance, "Looks like he's not the only one with a long face," he thought.

"We'll start filming now," The manager announced. All of the members sat up straight and began a small talk about the things they did during their break.

oOo

"He can't come."

"So he can't come at all?" Jungkook asked, his eyes fixed intently on the manager.

"I can. It'll just be a few hours later," Jin said placatingly.

"He can. He just can't board the same flight as us," Yoongi explained, also sensing the incoming storm that will ensue.

"Yes," The manager responded hurriedly, "We just had to book him on a separate flight due to some paperwork issues."

"As long as you can come it's fine," Jungkook said, as if talking directly at Jin instead of the Manager or Yoongi.

"Yeah, our arrival times are similar," Jin said.

Jungkook slumped back in his seat, clearly not pleased with the recent news. He pulled his phone from his pocket and started typing.

Jin felt his phone vibrate from his pocket, fully knowing who it was. He was mindful of the camera so he waited for a few minutes before he checked it, "Just so you know, I hate this. I do. I don't want to leave you and let you fly alone. Maybe I should throw a tantrum!"he read. He sighed and started typing his response.

Jungkook didn't seem to care about the camera and just blatantly read Jin's response as soon as his phone vibrated. "We're working right now, Jungkook-ah, be professional. And you're too old to throw temper tantrums," he read. He shoved his phone back to his pocket, his mood worsening as they drew near to the airport.

Hoseok nudged him inconspicuously and gave him a reassuring smile, "It's just a couple of hours, he'll be fine," he whispered.

"Yeah," Jungkook replied half-heartedly.

The group arrived at the airport, and as expected, the whole place was swarming with reporters so they were instructed to exit the bus one by one. They were all standing at the drop-off area when the staff had to pull Jin away because they had to go in a different direction.

"You might want to keep the broody one next to you, bro," Hoseok whispered as he passed by Namjoon.

"We haven't even left Korea yet and I can already feel the stress," Namjoon mumbled. "Yo, JK, you're with me," he said. He moved towards their youngest and pointed the GoPro at them to capture a short clip. He started talking to the camera, but Jungkook quickly moved away, his eyes firmly fixed on Jin's direction. He sighed loudly and just let it be.

Jungkook felt restless. He didn't want to be there, he wanted to go with Jin. Things had been rocky for the both of them since the break and he knew more shit is about to go down when he saw the news. That is the reason why he wanted to stick with him. He was planning on telling him about it before he read it somewhere else, but that chance was taken away from him because of some stupid paperwork.

"Time to check in, guys," Jimin said.

He looked at Jin helplessly and felt his chest tighten when he saw him nod. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck," he thought.

A/N: And I'm back, with different fandom, though. For some reason, this ship shook my writing skills awake. And just like the start of my other ships, it was prompted due to the lack of fanfics. I can't seem to find them. JinKook fics, where you at? Hopefully, I can finish this one. I'm hoping for the best!

The premise of this is during Bon Voyage Season 4: New Zealand. This will be a quick fic to check if I still have skills. Leave me a note. Thank you!
