Chapter 1: A journey begins, Enter Luz
In Pallet town, the sun was shining as we cut to an 14 year old girl who was getting ready to leave for her journey into the world of pokemon. This girl is Luz, a trainer from the Kanto Region who dreams of becoming a trainer like her idol Ash Ketchum.
Before she left, she said goodbye to her mother Camila, "Now, Luz, promise me you'll call me whenever you beat a gym, okay," said Camila."Yes, Mama," said Luz, as Camila then directed her attention to her daughter's pokemon partner. "And Squirtle, take care of Luz," said Camila, who planted a kiss on Squirtle's head. Squirtle then went back on top of Luz's head as they waved goodbye as Luz had walked out the door.
Luz then took a deep breath as she screamed out, "Hey, Kanto Region, Luz from Pallet town is starting her journey," as everyone was shocked to see that the person screaming was the resident weirdo.
When Luz reached the town limits, she did one last check to make sure she had everything she needed. 'Okay, Luz, this is it, your first step to becoming a legendary pokemon trainer,' thought Luz, she was nervous. This was the first time she had left Pallet town without adult supervision. As she continued down the road, she noticed that it was getting ready to rain. "Uh, oh," she said as she pulled a raincoat from her bag. She was more than prepared for anything that may come her way.
When she reached a fork in the road, she pulled out her town map, "Okay, so the first gym I need to go to is in Pewter City, so that way," she said as she pointed to the right.
That was when the rain let up as she took off her raincoat and put it back in her bag.
'This going to be a long journey,'thought Luz.
