Despicable Me Robot Agent Chapter 1
''I feel so tired'' sighed Lucy, ''Too tired to do any missions!''. She sat down to eat breakfast and yawned loudly. ''You should see a doctor Mom'' said Margo. Lucy thought that was a good idea, so after she finished her breakfast and cleaned her teeth, she went to the doctor's surgery on her way to work. ''Lucy….'' Lucy started to say to the receptionist, but she yawned before finish her sentence, ''Wilde here to see the doctor''. Lucy didn't have to wait long. ''Lucy Wilde'' called a doctor. Lucy made her way into the doctor's room and hung her coat up on a nearby hook. ''How can I help you today Lucy?'' asked the doctor. "I'm feelin' so tired," sighed Lucy with a yet another yawn. ''Right Lucy, let's have a look at you'' said the doctor, ''First, I'll take your temperature''. She stuck a thermometer in Lucy's mouth and told her to keep it in for a minute.
''That should be long enough Lucy'' said the doctor once a minute had passed, then she took the thermometer out and looked at the reading. ''Normal temperature'' said the doctor, ''Next I'll check your reflexes''. She took out a small hammer and tapped Lucy on each knee. ''Ah!'' yelped Lucy as she kicked her legs at each tap. ''That means your reflexes are in good working order'' explained the doctor, ''Now I'm just going to listen to your heart''.
She picked up her stethoscope and put the earpieces in her ears, and placed the small disc-shaped resonator on Lucy's chest. She could hear Lucy's heart going BOOM-BOOM! BOOM-BOOM! BOOM-BOOM! ''Breathe in, breathe out'' said the doctor. Lucy breathed in and out heavily. ''That's very good Lucy'' said the doctor, ''And again''. Lucy breathed in deeply and breathed out slowly. ''And again'' repeated the doctor. Lucy continued to breathe in and out while the doctor checked her heartbeat. ''That all sounds perfect Lucy'' smiled the doctor when she had finished and put her stethoscope down on her desk. "Oh, thanks'' said Lucy. 'You're a very healthy woman, Lucy, there's nothing wrong with you. You're just a bit run down, you been working too hard?''.
''Well there are more villains playing hard to catch and more papers for me to sort these days'' admitted Lucy, ''But I love my job as an spy agent, it's what I live for''. ''Well don't you be overdoing it, just take steady, you'll be fine if you relax a bit more and have a rest sometimes'' said the doctor, ''I'll give you some vitamins and tonic, those should put you to rights''. She typed up a prescription on her computer and printed it out and signed it before handing it to Lucy. "Thanks for the help, doc," said Lucy as she got up to leave. ''Bye Lucy'' said the doctor. ''Bye'' said Lucy. On her way out of the doctor's room, she picked up her coat off the hook and put it back on over her dress. Then she quickly headed off to work at the AVL.
But not soon enough for Valerie. ''You're late Agent Wilde!'' she snapped. "Sorry, I'm late. I had a doctor's appointment" apologised Lucy. ''Were you sick?'' snarled Valerie. ''Just tiredness problems'' replied Lucy. ''Well let's try and make up for lost time, shall we?'' scowled Valerie. Later on that day, Lucy fell asleep when she was sitting down. "HEY! NO SLEEPING ON THE JOB!" barked Valerie when she saw her. Lucy woke up startled and fell over with a thud. ''Oh sorry'' she said for the second time that day as she got up. When Lucy got home after she'd picked up her vitamins and tonic from the chemist that evening, she was more exhausted than ever. "Hoooooooogh," she moaned. Then Lucy saw Kyle sleeping on the couch. ''Oh I wish I could sleep all day like you Kyle'' she sighed enviously and yawned loudly.
Margo walked past, "Hi, Mom, are you feeling OK?" she asked. "Oh, hi, Margo" said Lucy wearily, "I'm still a bit tired again!". "Mom, what you need is a partner" said Margo. ''Your father is already my partner'' Lucy pointed out, ''He works at the AVL too alongside me, but I'm not sure even he can stop me being so tired!". Gru came over. "Actually, honey, I'm suggesting that my Minions would help you today," he said to Lucy. "What?" she said. ''I'll speak to them and see if they can come up with something'' explained Gru. He headed down into his lab to see the minions.
As usual most of the minions were working, but this time, two of them were fighting over a banana. "Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight!" they chanted. "No, hey!" shouted Gru, angrily when he saw them as he came into the lab. The minions heard him and quickly fell back into line. "Alright, now, Minions assemble!" called Gru, loudly. They all gathered round. "Lately, Lucy has been doing her AVL work and being exhausted so I need you all to help her feel pumped up" explained Gru. The minions all spoke in minionese at once. They felt sorry for Lucy and agreed with their boss something had to be done about it. The minions gathered their tools and set to work. They built a robot that looked like one of them. It had a red eye and a normal eye like the patch on a pirate, arm guns and a half yellow body.
Next morning Lucy woke up and was getting changed into her dress and coat for work as usual when something came into the bedroom she shared with Gru. She took some more of her vitamins and tonic while she had breakfast with the rest of the family. It was yellow like a minion with a metal body. Lucy saw it had one red eye and one normal eye. She screamed and ran out of the bedroom in her bare buttocks, legs and feet with both of her hands in her crotch.
