They entered the Mushroom Kingdom castle. Olivia made statements about the quality of the walls, floors, ceiling, and carpets as they went along, making the journey a little less lonely. Peach and Mario were sitting in their thrones, an old brown Toad standing next to her. The last Toad left, and Peach sighed heavily.

"Okay, that's the last request for the day. I think we made great progress. Oh?" She spotted the twins, her golden curls frizzy and uncontrolled. She brushed her hair back and stood.

Mario followed her, waving to Olivia.

Olivia waved back. "Hello! Were you busy?

"No, just finished."

"Are you alright?" Olly asked. "You look stressed."

"I'm a little stressed," Peach admitted. "But I have a vacation coming up soon. I'm going to spend the whole week in a city, going to a theater and watching different plays."

"Ooh," Olivia beamed. "Sounds fun! When is it?"

"I have about another week."

Mario smiled. "I'll take over for her when she's gone."

"Do you know where Dimentio is?" Olly asked. "We're looking for him."

Peach and Mario shrugged. "I though he was with you in your kingdom," Peach said.

"No, he said he was going to pay someone a visit, and I haven't seen him since. But thanks anyways."

"Oh!" Olivia faced Olly. "What if he's visiting Mimi? He told me about her a bit before up and leaving! But where would she be?"

"Hm...Maybe we should find Fawful in the meantime, since we know exactly where he is."

"Oh, well, stay safe!"

The trip to the Beanbean Kingdom was long and tiring, and they got attacked a few times on the way there. One of them included a street robber, named Popple. He was so easy to beat, it almost wasn't worth it.

There was a border between the Beanbean Kingdom and the Origami Kingdom, which was just a statue that was lit aflame when they drew closer.

"Hello," Olivia said. "Can we come through please?"

The statue began to speak. "Aaaand whywouldIdothat?"

Olly cleared his throat. "We're here on urgent business. We've been to the Beanbean Kingdom before, we even have a friend there that's a member of our kingdom! We're only here for a quick visit, and we'll be out of your way."

"Wow, you're SO polite, aren't you? Too bad I can't let anybody through."

Olly frowned. "I don't like your sarcastic tone. Let us through."

"No! I have one job, and it's to not let anybody through. Even if they claim to be part of the Beanbean Kingdom or not! So get lost, kids. You should be at home at this time anyways, getting sung to sleep."

Olivia smiled innocently. "Oh, that sounds nice! I wonder if the Origami Craftsman could do that for us. It might help you sleep a little better, Olly."

Olly could feel his blood boiling. Not only was the statue rude, it was also impossible to work with. "Please? We really need to get through here!"

"Nopedy nope nope!" The statue wriggled sarcastically. "But I'll let you through if you pay me some coins."

"Oh? Well, how much do you want?"

"I need a hundred coins!"

"A-a hundred?!" Olly's crown feel crooked. He fixed it. "Okay. That's a lot, but I should have enough." Olly handed him the coins. "How's this?"

"Yes, yes! But...these are Mushroom Kingdom coins, no? These are worthless here like this. You'll need a lot more than that to get through."

Olly handed him a hundred more. "How about this?"

"How many coins do you have, kid?"

"A thousand-fifty-seven left, after you asked me for some money."

"Then give me all your coins! That should be enough to get you through here!"

"Wh-what?! No way! I need this for supplies and weapons and gear! Who do you think you are, trying to steal from us?!"

"You know what, maybe I won't let you through at all! Now you owe me two-thousand!"

Olly growled, and Olivia tried to calm him down. The statue began to mock them, wriggling his life away.

"Olly, we can find another way around." She pat his shoulder. "No need to get angry over this, no matter how unfair this statue's being."

Olly jolted, and spat out a stream of water at the statue, dousing the fire. Olivia flinched away from him. He coughed once when he finished.

"Oohg...I forgot how uncomfortable the Water Vellumental's power was. Sorry about that, I just lost my cool there. Olivia's right, we can go another way."

"No maaan...I was wrong to rip you off." The water of his face froze, the ice following the same pattern as the fire from before.

"Really? So you'll let us through?"

"No maaan...Instead, I'll just kill you and take your money then!"

"Aah!" Olivia screamed.

The battle required Olly keeping the statue neutral as Olivia was to actually attack. She had no weapon, so instead just used a long stick she found on the ground. The statue, when finally beaten, let out a long sigh.

"Fine maaan, you can go through." It exploded in stars.

"Oh. Well, that's over then, I guess."

Olly nodded. "But he didn't give us our money back."

"You still have like a thousand, right?"

"Actually, I was lying to see how the statue would react. We only have about a hundred coins left."

"Ah, I thought that number was too specific. But let's keep going. Fawful will be super happy to see us, I'll bet!"

"Yeah, you're right. And you faired pretty well with that stick, Olivia."

"You think so?"

Olly nodded. "But let's keep going."

The castle town came into view, and Olivia got excited and flew off ahead. Olly flew after her.

"Olivia, wait up!"

Olivia dashed into the castle accidentally pushing the guards to the side. They stopped Olly from entering, however.

"Wait, my sister went in there."

"No entry unless you were invited by the Queen of Prince!"

Olly sighed and sat on the step. "I guess I'll wait."

He fell asleep within a few minutes.
