Ross Gellar's Volunteer Job:

Ross Gellar was a Professor at the Museum of Prehistoric History and was palaeontologist there. He had taken semi retirement and was now a volunteer at the museum giving guided tours as well as being a lecturer as he loved his job. Even though his friends Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel took the mick out of him by calling him the "dinosaur man" but he didn't care. His job threw new challenges at him everyday.

Ross began reminiscing about how he had got into palaeontology. As a child he went on a school trip when he was in elementary school to the Museum of Prehistoric History and after his trip he was hooked and his favourite was science and even made a comic and his main character was a superhero that he called Science Boy and his super power was being super human and had a thirst for knowledge. But his comic was stolen and he later discovered that it was Phoebe who had stolen his comic he did not know Phoebe at the time and she was living rough on the streets but in the end she returned the comic back to Ross. He had even decided to do a degree in palaeontology as well as a Masters degree, and PhD in this subject. He then went on and did his teacher training and became a professor and got a job at the Museum of Prehistoric History teaching palaeontology after covering a class to impress the professor. During the class Rachel stormed into the classroom and yelled "Ross I am still your wife!" also Ross was speaking in an English accent. After he lesson a professor from the palaeontology department and told Ross that he had really impressed the professor and as a result of this he got the job. He even got the chance to teach a class of Professor Newman who had retired and was respected by all the professors in the palaeontology department and they were all very sad that he was leaving but he had worked there before Ross even joined the department. But as he respected this professor he decided to take on his classes. Unfortunately he was always late to the lesson as the building was across town and he arrived just a few minutes before the bell went. He decided to use rollerblades to get to the lesson and was skating around the classroom during the lecturer.

But these jobs he had were not going to last long as he had fallen in love with one of his students that he taught and their relationship was more than lecturer and student it was now more like boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. Her name was Elizabeth Stevens.

When Ross introduced his boss to her. They were horrified by this bombshell and they told Ross that he was fired with immediate effect. He had now lost both his jobs as a lecturer and volunteer at the museum. He was not bothered as even though he had lost his jobs he still had Elizabeth. After dating for six months he popped the question to her and she happily accepted and became his fiancee.

Ross told Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel that him and Elizabeth were engaged to be married.

"Good luck with that Ross, let's hope it does not end in divorce!" said Phoebe.

The others nodded in agreement.

"We should nickname you Ross The Divorce Force, that's what you called yourself didn't you?" Chandler chuckled.

Ross looked at them.

"This time will be different!" he told.

"We will wait and see!" Rachel responded.

Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel could not hold in their laughter and began laughing.

" My marriage to Elizabeth will last you wait and watch!" he shouted as he stormed off out of the cafe.
