Rachel Green's Job Dilemma:
Rachel Green worked at Ralph Lauren as a fashion executive. But there was a problem a French ladies fashion company called Bon Marche had offered Rachel a job there. Unfortunately the company was located in Paris, France. She had been offered a job in France before which her friend Ross Gellar was against and had been giving Rachel's Ralph Lauren boss Mr R. Zelner dinosaur artefacts from his work at The Museum of Prehistoric History for his son Ross. Ross Gellar told him his name was Ron. As a result of this her boss offered her more money. Ross had done this to stop Rachel from leaving and eventually she got off the plane and went to see Ross.
Before working as a fashion executive for Ralph Lauren she worked as a waitress at the Central Perk Cafe and while working she always was getting Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Ross's coffee orders wrong but she thought she had got them right. Her manager Gunter was extremely upset after she gave him her resignation letter after she discover that she had got the fashion executive job at Ralph Lauren. Gunter wished that Rachel did not leave as she was a good employee and he had given Joey a job as a waiter and found him extremely annoying as he kept on giving girls muffins and pretend that it was their birthday but he soon fired him and felt he would never find an employee like Rachel ever again.
After Rachel left Ross's apartment Ross felt like history had repeated itself. But that had happened years ago and Ross was now engaged to his fiancee Elizabeth Stevens who was a student who he taught. Even though him and Rachel were no longer together he still didn't want Rachel to leave as his sister Monica and best friend Chandler had moved to Westchester County, Pennsylvania, and Phoebe was travelling the world on a cruiseliner as a mauessue. He also felt that he would be losing his daughter Emma if Rachel took the job offer.
Rachel arrived back at her apartment she reminsced her time as a waitress at Central Perk even though she thought she could be better than being a waitress at her local cafe she wanted to pursue her dream of working in the fashion industry and now her dream had become a reality. Even though she had been offered a fashion job similar to the one she had at Ralph Lauren she had changed her mind and had got off the plane to Ross's relief. She was now in a dilemma as even though she loved her job at Ralph Lauren but she wanted more out of her fashion career. But the only problem was Ross who was jealous that he had not had a personal goodbye like Chandler, Joey, Monica, and Phoebe had. But Rachel told him that out of all of their friends he ment more to her as their relationship had been like a roller coaster ride but Rachel knew that Ross still had feelings for her and soon discovered that it was him who was bribing her boss at Ralph Lauren. She But now her circumstances were now different and called Ross asking to meet him about her new job offer and to discuss what she should do.
So they arranged to meet at the Central Perk Cafe to discuss the issue. But Rachel toldn him that now things were different than before she neeeded to way up the pros and cons as this job offer could possibly change her life for the better. Ross accepted that whatever decision she came to that she would support her. The only thing on Rachel's mind right now was the job offer in Paris, France would she accept the job or not? She had to take everything into consideration the good and the bad of accepting the job and not. After her discussion with Ross she soon realised that her decision was important and felt pleased that Ross would support if she accepted her new job offer. But what would her final decision be would she stay in New York, Manhatten and remain at Ralph Lauren, or would she go to Paris, France and accept her job at Bon Marche?
