Monica and Chandler's Unexpected Visit:
It was the thanksgiving holiday season and Monica and Chandler really wanted to see their friends Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross as they had been reminiscing their time with their friends during the thanksgiving holiday season and since their move to Westchester County, Pennsylvania had really missed them and were dying to see them. So they went on and booked an apartment at The Copa Cabana Complex in New York, Manhattan which was owned by Faisal and Nasreela Begum. They had asked Faisal and Nasreela if they could come a few days earlier so that Monica could start her preparations on the thanksgiving dinner she was doing for Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross. Faisal and Nasreela happily agreed.
Monica and Chandler knew that during this season Phoebe would be doing a gig at Central Perk Cafe in the evening and decided to go and surprise their friends and bring Erica and Jack along with them. Monica had already arranged for her parents to collect them, from the Central Perk Cafe so that they could spend some quality time with Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross.
So on the day of thanksgiving Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross were at the Central Perk Cafe where Phoebe was singing thanksgiving themed songs that she had written herself. She had just finished her last song.
" Happy holidays everybody!" she said to the other customers who clapped and cheered. She smiled and went and joined her friends.
All of a sudden entrance doors of the cafe opened.
" Happy holidays guys!" said voices from behind them.
Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross turned around. It was Monica and Chandler along with their children Erica and Jack.
The friends could not believe it, they got up and greeted their friends.
Joey and Ross embraced Chandler into the hug while Phoebe and Rachel greeted Monica.
"How are you guys?" Ross asked.
We're fine, just thought it was thanksgiving and it would not be the same without seeing you guys so we decided to come down and visit!" said Chandler.
" You guys have made this thanksgiving really special!" said Phoebe.
"It is a shame that you will not be able to do thanksgiving!" said Joey glumly.
" Well you will be surprised!" Monica replied.
"I'm so happy your here man, do you want to see Chick Junior and Duck Junior?" asked Joey.
Chandler nodded in response with a grin.
" So how is Erica and Jack?" Rachel queried.
Monica smiled.
"Yeah! They are fine, go and say hi to aunty Rachel and aunty Phoebe!" she instructed.
Erica and Joey went and greeted Rachel and Phoebe.
"They are so cute!" Phoebe exclaimed.
Monica and Rachel nodded in agreement.
Just then Ross and Monica's parents entered the premises.
"Mom, dad? What you doing here?" Ross queried.
"We have come to take Erica and Jack for the evening" replied Ross and Monica's mom.
"Thanks for this" said Monica.
"No worries sweetie!" said Ross and Monica's dad.
"Say bye to mummy and daddy!" said Ross and Monica's mom.
"Bye!" said Erica and Jack in unison as they waved goodbye to their parents and left the coffee house.
"What's going on Mon?" questioned Rachel.
"Well we have booked an apartment at the Copa Cabana Complex and will hosting thanksgiving there. As we wanted to make it feel like old times when we had the apartment and did there." Monica responded.
Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross could not believe it.
After finishing their beverages the friends headed back to Joey's apartment and Chandler was able to meet Chick Junior , and Duck Junior. Chandler was so surprised how much they grow as they were only chicks and they had got stuck in the football table Monica had come to the rescue and saved the chicks but in the progress had to destroy the football table. That was the last time Chandler had seen the chicks before he and Monica moved from New York, Manhattan to Westchester County, Pennsylvania.
The friends began reminiscing about the Christmases and New Years together at Monica and Chandler's apartment. Joey told them that their apartment was now being occupied by a single mum called Tracey-Ann Barton and her six year old daughter Paige.
Chandler and Monica took Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross back to the apartment they had rented and just like the old times Monica hosted thanksgiving and they reminisced their times of past thanksgivings that they did at Chandler and Monica's old apartment.
Also the surprise visit that Chandler and Monica had made really did cheer up Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross. The friends had decided to go and see Chandler and Monica's house in Westchester County, Pennsylvania and to see if Phoebe and Rachel's opinions would change about Monica and Chandler moving there was the right thing for them to do .
