The Aftermath Of Monica and Chandler's Move:

It nearly had been a year since Monica and Chandler had moved from their apartment in New York, Manhattan to a house in Westchester County, Pennsylvania. They could not believe that their dreams had been made a reality. They were ever so grateful and thankful to Erica for adopting her children who they had called Erica and Jack. They also had bought the house that they had dreamed of. Monica worked at a restaurant called Chester Cuisine as the head chef. Chandler worked at Pennsylvania Publishers as an advertising agent who sent out monthly advertising booklets. They had everything they had ever wanted but it was same without their friends Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross. As they were always there for them in their time of need and supported them through their happy and sad times. When their friends found out that they were leaving New York, Manhattan for Westchester County, Pennsylvania. They tried their hardest to change their minds and stay in the city and not move to the countryside. But their attempts failed as Monica and Chandler had their hearts set on their move to start their new life together.

Around six months after Monica and Chandler's move Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross had been hit hard and had to give back their keys to Monica and Chandler's apartment. It was now being occupied by a single mum called Tracey-Ann Barton and her six year old daughter Paige. But Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross had not introduced themselves to her.

The friends had met up at the Central Perk Cafe and were having a conversation about how they felt about Monica and Chandler's departure.

" I cannot believe that Monica and Chandler are now gone as I now cannot take food from their fridge!" said Joey.

" What I cannot believe they have moved to Westchester ! I did tell them that West Chester was the worst of the Chesters!" Phoebe exclaimed.

" I agree, I cannot understand why they have not raised their children in the city as me and Ross, and Sarah Jessica Parker are all raising children in the city!" Rachel expressed.

Ross nodded.

" But guys, we have to remember that Chandler and Monica have been planning this move for ages and are now happy where they are and we just have to expect their decision." Ross told the others.

Joey, Phoebe, and Rachel looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

"Hey guys you will never guess what there is a new tenant living in Monica and Chandler's apartment!" Joey told them.

"Dam! I wish I was living in their apartment as I would be close to Joey!" said Phoebe regretfully.

"Have you introduce yourself yet Joey?" asked Rachel.

Joey shook his head.

" I think it is time to introduce ourselves to the new tenant and make a new friend" Ross suggested.

The others thought for a moment and then nodded to Ross's suggestion.

They decided to go and meet the new tenant when they were all free. The following evening Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross went to meet their new neighbour.

Joey knocked on the door.

The door opened revealing a young woman with brunette frizzy hair, green eyes and wearing a jumper with trousers and black leather high heel boots.

"Hi, how can I help you?" asked the lady

"Hey I am Joey I live across the hall" he told her.

"Who are they?" she queried looking at Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross.

"Oh, they are my friends" Joey told her.

Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross smiled, waved and said "hi!"

"Nice to meet you all, my name is Tracey" the lady said to them.

In the apartment there was another woman there. She got up from her seat and introduced herself as Tracey's best friend Cara.

"Paige, come here we have new neighbours come and say hi!" Tracey called

"No!" Paige replied grumpily.

"Sorry about Paige, she has gone all shy but I am sure once she gets to know you all you will see her true self!" Tracey

Cara nodded in agreement.

Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross said to Tracey that it is okay and understandable.

"Okay, I must go as it time for Paige to get into her jim jams and go to bed as she has school in the morning. I hope to see you soon " said Tracey.

"Do not worry Trace We are on it! Nice to meet you all!" said Cara as she went to deal with Paige to get her in her jim jams and go to bed.

"How about having a coffee at Central Perk Cafe some time?" Joey suggested.

"Yeah, that'll be nice" Tracey responded.

With that Tracey bid Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross farewell and closed the door behind her.

The next day the friends met up at Central Perk Cafe and were discussing meeting their new neighbour Tracey.

"It was not so hard to introduce ourselves to Tracey" Ross told the others.

"Yeah! I love her daughter, Paige is so adorable!" Rachel exclaimed.

Phoebe nodded.

"Did you not notice her friend Cara? I wonder if she is single and ready to mingle " Joey said.

"JOEY!" yelled Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross.

"What?" Joey questioned.

" You were chatting up Tracey about asking her out for a coffee and you want to hit on her best friend!" Rachel scolded.

" I think Tracey must be a single mum" Ross answered.

"Not you too Ross!" Phoebe said.

" We have introduced ourselves to Tracey and must treat her like a friend and nothing more! Agreed ?" Rachel said

The others nodded in agreement.

But what they were unaware of was that Monica and Chandler were planning a surprise visit during thanksgiving and were in for a surprise of their life.
