Joey Tribbiani's Inspired Career Change:
Joey Tribbiani had been working as an actor for a while with the help of his agent Estelle. But after Estelle's death Joey was rather depressed as he liked Estelle and she would help him in his acting career. He considered Estelle as a friend as she was always there in his time of need and was always trying to get him good parts in advertisements, plays, TV serials such as Days Of Our Lives, and films. Since Estelle's death Joey could not believe that she had gone as she would regularly call him about some work she had found for him. But Phoebe had no idea about Estelle's death and had rung Joey up pretending to be Estelle which really freaked Joey out. Chandler, Monica, Rachel, and Ross were the first people he told of Estelle's passing. Joey did not know what to do as without Estelle he was getting no acting work and he found it difficult finding acting work by myself Ross and Chandler offered to help and looked in newspapers and on the internet for any acting vacancies but to Joey he was grateful but it was not the same as Estelle finding him acting work.
At Estelle's funeral one of her clients by the name of Al Zebooker had eaten Joey's speech . Joey could not believe how much Estelle was loved and listened to the other clients and their experiences with Estelle. Joey now had no speech and had to do what all actors do improvise and began telling about his experiences with Estelle. He was very emotional and tried hard to not show his emotions. He felt his life would not be the same without Estelle and by signing up with another agent would just feel wrong and all of Estelle's hard work that she had done with would go to waste.
. Few months after Estelle's funeral Joey decided to follow in his agent's footsteps and become an acting agent to help fellow actors like Estelle had done for him as she was his inspiration. But before Joey could become an acting agent he needed to go and do his research on becoming an acting agent he went and spoke to an acting agency similar to Estelle's to find out what he had to do to pursue his ambition of being an acting agent.
Before Joey could advertise his acting agency he decided to go to the local directory to see if he could have some help. Joey's acting agency started off slowly as he knew that the job he was pursuing was not going to be easy as this job was like a marathon than a sprint as he only knew to well how hard it was to find an acting agent like Estelle who understood him and was welling to make his acting career a success. It wasn't long until Joey's acting agency was up and running and Joey used all the qualities that he had been taught by Estelle as well as the way she conducted herself with Joey. Soon just like Estelle he didn't have a huge number of clients but he was trying to help them in anyway he could as he wanted his clients to be successful in their acting careers.
Joey would try and find auditions for his clients hoping that he would get them main roles whether they were TV soap operas, films, or adverts.
Joey preferred to be an acting agent than an actor as in his view his acting career was not going anywhere but it was thanks to Estelle that he got the acting roles she had found for him and he did his best but now with Estelle gone it just did not feel right carrying on with his acting career and had decided to go into the acting agent industry just like Estelle. He knew this job was different compared to his acting but he was going to work his hardest to become success like Estelle did.
Joey felt happy that he was now an agent in the world of showbiz just like Estelle was. He guessed that Estelle would be chuffed for him as well as touched as it was down to her that Joey had down this career path. Estelle would always have a special place in Joey's heart and would never be forgotten. On every anniversary of Estelle's death Joey would go to her grave to lay flowers and spent some time there to reflect on how much she had played a part of becoming the person he was today. As he knelt to lay the flowers which were a bunch of red roses which he knew were Estelle's favourite flowers. He looked at her picture and said.
"Hey Estelle, I just wanna say thank you for everything you have done for me throughout my acting life. My life will never be the same without you as you have always be there for me through my roller coaster ride of my acting career but I know you will remain in my heart forever."
Joey got up and looked back Estelle's grave and left the cemetery.
"Estelle you are one of kind!" Joey said to himself.
