Moments earlier, as Kasai was walking back in, Genkai just fully tackled him, causing them both to fall outside. Using the extra room, Kasai used his full-wyvern, and rushed forward, bashing Genkai right into the ocean. 'Huh... that was easy-' the water started to bubble, and in a pocket of steam, Genkai rose back up. "How!? Devil Fruit users can't swim!" Kasai exclaimed. "Devil Fruit? No, I ate the better version. Made by the sea herself to defeat Devil Fruit eaters!" His lower body turned to steam, and he started floating. "I ate the Steam Fruit, a divine Angel Fruit!"
He dove underwater, and his speed swimming was absolutely crazy. He rocketed back up, flinging himself into Kasai, covered with sea water. He splashed everywhere, causing Kasai to back up and almost shift back into a human. Genkai then rushed up to him, and Kasai swung around blindly, panicking. He blew through the steam pathetically. "I told you, we both know who'll win this."
Kasai was kicked away, and he skidded on the floor, laying there on his side. 'He's right... I can't win against him...' He closed his eyes. In his head, he went through his life. "Son..." A memory of his father. "Kasai... You must never give up!" He punched the kid Kasai in the gut. "You must not. If you do, you'll be weak. No son of mine, will be weak!"
Year 5 of the daily beatdowns, on the 236th day, he took Kasai aside. "Dad I can't get it!" He expected his usual spiel about weakness, but this lesson was different. "How do I use this Ryuo?!" His father simply patted his back. "This one... I can't beat out of you. One day, you'll understand. Ryuo is a force of justice, able to harm evil no matter its form." He looked up in frustration. "How I do!?" His father just chuckled. "It'll come to you."
Kasai thought about his new friends, his captain, Kiwi. He stood up, rubble falling from his body. Genkai turned around, seeing this and for once, looks impressed. "Finally, you have balls!" He rushed in as a cloud of steam. Kasai took a deep breath, and focused around his hand, which he could feel flow with some energy from within himself. He realed back, and once Genkai was in range, he delivered a hefty punch, hitting Genkai in his actual body.
Genkai stumbled back, and Kasai, an absolute look of determination on his face, started wailing on him. He kept trying to dodge by turning into steam, but Kasai just kept hitting him. "W-what!? This is Ryuo! None of us were able to figure this out! How did YOU!?" Kasai shifted into a full wyvern, and started comboing with his wings and tail, and after a good 23 hits, he swapped back into his human mode, and used all his body to throw one last punch into Genkai's face, flinging him to the edge of the hole. Both of them were breathing heavily, and Genkai started laughing, holding his face in his hand as he did. "What do ya know!? You finally surpassed me!" He chuckled a little more as he lost consciousness, and fell back into the hole, landing on his feet, but then proceeding to fall on his back.
