That morning, within the outer patrol of Alabasta, a marine scout sounded the silent alarm as a pirate ship entered view of the coast. "Incoming! Incoming!" the call was sent through small transponder snails each marine in this mission had in their ear, keeping the public out of the know. This was this first sign of any incoming activity, so everyone hid themselves as they prepared to assault the arriving pirates, believing it to be Blackheart. But someone with pink hair called out.

"Hey! Those are the Melody Pirates!" Lucky exclaimed as she peaked through a telescope. Petrain laughed, "See? If you left you'd of missed 'em." She locked on to the mink, watching as he walked around the deck. She smiled as she could tell he was happy, but watched as his expression went to worry. She pulled the scope back, noticing the incoming storm. "Oh shit... a Calm Storm!" Sometimes, the Grand Line goes a little too hard with the weather, and occasionally will force a big one right through the Calm Zone. They start looking normal, but when they hit, they hit hard.

"We gotta go get them!" Lucky pleaded. "My brother is on that ship!" She looked out, and the hit came. She covered her mouth in shock, watching as her brother and his comrades get taken by the current. Petrian tapped his ear to activate the com, "We got a ship getting pushed out to sea-" he was about to fly out after them, is stopped by the commander putting a hand on his chest. "We are not about to help some pirates." Petrian glared at him, but he only glared back.

Lucky fell to her knees, putting her head in her hands. Petrian came over and just held her in his wings. "I'm... sorry Lucky..." he said, genuine sympathy in his voice. Claire turned to face the commander, a surprised look on her face. "Wow, you actually made the correct choice, pirate scum is still scum." Lucky almost made a move, but Petrian stopped her with his advice, "Don't let her get to you..." The admiral scoffed, returning her attention to the storm, a smirk curling up on her lips.

Lucky was granted the rest of the day off, and the rest continued with the mission. The sun was about to reach 4/5th the way to sunset, still some hours off. Petrian was flying overhead, lost in his thoughts. "I mean... what's that girls problem!? We are looking for an Emperor! Focus on that!" he screamed at the sky. He panted a bit, before looking down at Aluburna, just to get more frustrated. "Stupid Blackheart! Just show up already!" He kicked at a cloud, but then started hovering in place, noticing something weird as a huge shadow cast over the city. He went to look up, but then suddenly found himself enveloped in darkness.

Right below the city's streets, a small tunnel system was dug out, now housing pirates who had been there long before the marines arrived. With an entire living room, complete with a bookshelf, lanterns, and a bed. A transponder snail with the marines logo on it was spouting all the secret messages to a frail man with long unkempt hair but a well groomed goatee laying on the bed, and he was just laughing hysterically. "Oooh these idiots~ Once they finally think that info was fake and they leave, Alabasta is mine!~ Plus, I already... patched up that leak~" Blackheart, bounty of 250,000,000; one of the Four Emperor continued his victory, patient enough to wait this out.
