Harmony held her head, discombobulated from the new mind sensation from the smoke. She couldn't focus, and was very relaxed to the point she could barely stand. While the feeling was nice, this wasn't good midfight. "Kasai Kasai... I think I'm awright!" she says, stumbling as she gets up. "Are you sure captain!?" Kasai asked concerningly, but she just waved him off. "Yea yea no I'm good!" she replied as she jumped ahead towards Dankbeard, Kasai following behind.
She stumbled and Kasai rushed in to catch her, but then Dankbeard came up and smacked him with a face full of smoke, causing him to inhale some. He reeled back, coughing heavily as Dankbeard came up and gut punched Kasai, causing him to cough even harder as the wind is knocked out of him. He gasped and tried to fly back, but the smokes effects made flying tricky, and he just fell down. "You guys new to this or something?" he asked before bursting with laughter, grabbing the two pirates and walking over to the edge of the ship. "Lets let Davey Jones take you two~" he chuckled, letting them both go. Kasai grabbed onto Harmony and tried to fly them up, but just couldn't get it right and they both splashed into the sea.
"Shit! He threw them over!" Kagaku called out, prompting Julio to start Doggy Paddling to the other side of the ship. Minx and Kagaku jumped off, intending to cut past, but Dankbeard stood there, waiting for them. Kagaku loaded a wooden stake into his crossbow and fired it, but it just phased through Dankbeard as though he was smoke. "Aaand the haki guy is, again, out of commission! What is our luck!?" he exclaimed as he created an iron staff from his hands. Minx started spinning his scissors and dashed in, swiping at all he could, and running through the smoke. "Huh- hey no you-" Dankbeard turned, but Kagaku stuck the staff through his smokey head, and just kept messing his face up to distract him. "Bruh stawp!" He swung at Kagaku, who threw his arms up to block but still took a good bit of damage as he wiped blood from his nose.
Minx dove down, and grabbed both of them under their arms. Despite his small legs he managed to get them above water, all three of them taking a deep breath. "C-Can't move..." Harmony stuttered, barely able to maintain consciousness. Kasai looked up, gritting his teeth, "T-That bastard!" Nakama passed by, Julio using Kagaku's pulley to grab the three and pull them aboard. "Everyone alright?" Julio asked as they catch their breath. "His smoke... it affects the head..." Kasai informed, holding his head. "Kagaku needs back up!" Minx cried out. Julio jumped into action, climbing onto the ship himself. Kagaku was currently struggling to get out of the captains grip as he was preparing to drop him in too, but Julio called out, "Hey! Put him back where you found him!" Dankbeard just chuckled, "What bro?" Kagaku chuckled as he's held over the sea, "Don't worry about me Julio! I can hold my breath for a while!" He's dropped, and Julio hears as he splashes.
"Times ticking~" Dankbeard taunted, turning into smoke and rushing in at Julio, who tried to fire on him but the coins just kept phasing. 'Damn! How can I hit him!?' Dankbeard rushed up and jabbed at his chest. He skidded back a bit, and before he could recover, Dankbeard grabbed him by the face, his palm turning into smoke and flowing into his lungs. "It's over!" he exclaimed, cackling. He dropped Julio, and he started coughing, but quickly caught his breath, clearing his throat. 'Oh... damn. I'd of loved to have that power...' Julio thought as he reached in his pack, pulling out a rolled up paper, smirking as he lit it up and took a drag. "I've been smoking this shit for years." Dankbeard scoffed, "Even so, everyone has limits!"
'He must be tangible to hit me,' he thought, puffing up a hit as he jumped to the side, prompting Dankbeard to swing his arm, but Julio quickly ducked below, sliding as he grabbed Dankbeards leg, but couldn't budge him. 'Come on! Just need a good bait!' Dankbeard grabbed his arm and pulled him up, and threw him into the broken mast. 'Damn it!' He scoffed, taking another drag before tossing it aside. He took in a breath. 'I just need to avoid one attack!' He watched Dankbeard, doing everything he could to focus on his movements.
Before he could react, Dankbeard came up and struck him in the gut, causing him to cough blood, and he just grabbed and kneed his face in. Julio fell unconscious as Dankbeard laughed and headed for Nakama.
He snapped awake, and looked forward, seeing Dankbeard rushing in towards him. 'What the hell was that..? Did I just-' He pulled Victoria, weaving past Dankbeard's sucker-gut punch perfectly and got her aimed for his head, catching the captain off guard before he could react. Julio smirked as Victoria fires, smashing a coin into his temple point blank, knocking the man out cold. "Cool... I can see the future... suck it Kasai," he said to himself, diving in after Kagaku, and surprised to see him slowly sinking but completely conscious, even giving him a thumbs up as Julio dove deeper to grab him.
