The sun was nearing the sky's center, and within a nearby ship; a deep black galleon with red highlights throughout, a boat famously known as the Persecuted Marian, one of the Creepy Captains was boredly sitting with her leg up in a chair. Her long brown hair draped over the backrest and her blood-red eyes stared towards a window. "Has anyone checked in..?" she asked in a demanding manner. A small man with a quiet snail shook as he answered, "N-no ma'am. Dank nor the twins have checked in..." She sat up, clapping her hands as she giggled, "Oooooh that means its finally my turn!~" The man fell back, startled by her slightest movement. "C-Captain Mary! If they took out not only Dankbeard but those twins, they must be insane! No one but a ghost Zoan can resist the Siren Song!" She cackled in response. "Edward, those dumb twins and pothead took all the fun once Vorus recruited them! I'll take a challenge at this point!" Mary walked out to the deck, looking out for her target, and noticed a purple ship docked at a specific island. "Head towards the island those twins stay. I think our guests are still there~"
Kagaku was walking through the whole island, a rather disappointed look on his face. "Figured with how close to the water these islands were, niter's gonna be a pretty ultrarare find." He turned to the crew, "Guess a genuine cannon's gonna have to wait..." Harmony and Minx both sighed with disappointment, and Julio looked around. He called out, "Incoming. Big ship too." Kagaku looked around, "Nowhere to hide, we should make a base with Nakama!" The crew all board Nakama, keeping her anchored to the shore. Harmony stood outside on the deck with her arms crossed, awaiting the incoming pirates. Kasai and Minx were both behind her as back up with Julio on the big crossbow at the ready. Kagaku was loading up his lil' crossbow and was sitting behind cover.
"Heeeey its those Melody Pirate guys!" a slender hunched man cackled, brandishing two pinwheels with metal blades from the sheaths on his back. Bloody Spinner; swordsman of the Burning Queens, bounty of 87,900,000. "Wuddya know? Captain Mary and that Harmony girl; two royalty in the battlefield~" A man with an extremely pretty face brushed his luxurious blond curly hair, catching the wind perfectly as it swayed in the air. "Such a lovely battle this will be~" Bloody Beauty; navigator of the crew; bounty of 88,000,500. "They t-took out Dankbeard with his Logia power... At least one of them gotta have haki..." a small man with a bowl cut shivered as he looked out at the purple ship. Bloody Root; shipwright for the Persecuted Marian; bounty of 89,900,000.
"Why you cryin'!?" a powerfully built man cried at Root, causing him to fall back in fear. "Your power isn't even Fruit based!" he yelled out. Root stood up, nodding profusely. The man scoffed as he uncrossed his arms, revealing his left forearm was a black metalic cylinder similar to an actual cannon, but still had a hand coming from it. Kinda looked as though he was wearing it like a brace, but this was Bloody Cannon; gunman of the crew with a bounty of 92,000,000. A young lady ran over and picked Root up, hugging him into her chest which caused him to squeak as he blushed. "Don't be so mean to our widdle wizard! He's doing his best!" she pouted, her rose red eyes tearing up as she looked at Cannon. He scoffed at her, but backed up as a skeleton with nothing but a cloak approached him. She smirked, hmphing him as she turned her cheek. Bloody Soul; proclaimed tactician of the crew, with a 89,530,000 bounty, and her so-called familiar; Bloody Death; a skeleton she made with her Fruit Power; bounty of 70,000,000.
"All y'all stand down!" A booming voice echoed from the quarters, as the captain herself stepped out on deck. "I've been bored, and I wanna take 'em myself~" Cannon scoffed before backing away, and Root sighed in relief. Soul and Spinner pouted, and Beauty just squealed. "Aaah~ we get to watch our captain show us why she's our leader! Always such a fun show~" he said, dreamily staring at the captain as the ship stopped next to the small island. She jumped down, and just started walking towards Nakama. "Uhh, there's only one of them coming," Julio stated nervously. "Well uh, why not just do the thing?" Minx stated, shrugging. "I mean you already vaporized someone," Kasai said, causing Minx to poke his fingers together, "My fault..." Kassi continued, "So honestly what's one more. Shoot 'er!" Harmony looked disappointed but sighed, "We're still injured from Aluburna... We should play it safe. Take the shot Julio." He aimed up the huge crossbow at the approaching lady, and fired it. The huge wooden stake blasted through her, causing an explosion of what appeared to be blood as the wood lodged itself into the soft ground. Everyone just kinda stared in shock, but Kagaku scratched his chin. "That's too bright red to be blood... it's thicker too."
The red liquid suddenly moved toward a single area, reforming the captain as she smiled confidently continued walking. "Ah, I love it when they're smart. Makes a good fight~" Captain Bloody Mary of the Burning Queens; a staggering bounty of 120,000,000 with a rather unique Logia. She started to cackle as Harmony jumped down and run straight for her. "Wait! Let me help out!" Kasai called out as he shifted to his full wyvern form and flew after her. He then cried out as Mary kneed him in the back, slamming him into the ground. He tried getting up, but with a swift haki coated jab to his head; still cracked from before, he fell unconscious, shifting back to his human form. Harmony skidded and turned, having been unable to track her movements at all. "H-how did she just-" Harmony couldn't even finish her question before Mary had appeared before her and grabbed her by the mouth, lifting her up in the air. She struggled but all she did was splash against her viscous liquid body, and she was keeping Harmony powerless with haki. Mary turned to the crew, smiling evily. "Stand down or your captain here is gonna have a real bad time~"
