"Alejandrea?" a disappointed Louise stood before a young toddler fidgeting with her dress, hands on his hips. "I'm sorry papa... I was running and I hit it..." she confessed, guiltily moving her legs. A broken vase that had fallen off the stand she bumped laid next to her in pieces, and Louise crouched down and looked her over and asked, "Are you hurt?" She shook her head no, and he picked her up chuckling. "The vase can be replaced, but you," he placed his finger over her heart, "my corazón, cannot." She started to tear up, and wrapped her arms around him. He chuckled, walking outside to where Veronica was, who was clearly pregnant. She had a small catapult flinging coins toward a far off target.
"Alejandrea!" an adult Julio cried, seeing his sister opening the front door in the middle of the might. Both of her parents were dead, and Ran Chella had been closed, repossessed by the king of the land. His guards were coming the next day, and Julio planned to fight the guards for his home with her, but she clearly had other plans. "Julio, the ranch is done. Do yourself a favor, forget this place," she stated bluntly. "You're good with that gun, you can make a living off of it." He wiped the tears from his eyes, exhaling shakily, "They wouldn't want us to give it up..." Her face softened for a second, but she scoffed and headed for the door. "Julio... I swear to you, as your sister..." she sighed, turning to face him. "Once I rule the world..." she clutched her fist, and exclaimed to her brother, "I'll avenge them!" She shut the door behind her, and turned to see her old home for the last time before heading towards the docks.
She got off the island by sneaking onto one of the trade ships that visit early in the morning. Once she was on, the captain of the vessel immediately found her, but let her stay as long as she helped with chores. She agreed to help, but many of the other workers avoided the young lady, as her demeanor scared them. But one day, another man joined the work force; a man with a Devil Fruit. He had already eaten one and planned to sell the second fruit for a boat load of belli. But one Alejandrea locked eyes on it, something spoke to her. The voice was demanding, deep, powerful, but she wasn't scared of it, instead more intrigued. She felt herself drawn to the fruit, and the voice grew louder as she approached it.
The fruit was a pitch-black sphere, no light reflected off its surface at all; a perfect darkness. Around it was a yellow-orange rind that looked like a ring going around it at an angle. "Alejandrea, the fool would waste our power. With it, all your dreams will come true," the voice promised, but as she reached for it, the man pulled it away from her. "Get your own paycheck lady, this one's all mine~" he taunted, taking it away and heading to the break room. The voice stopped, and her mind was quiet. However, the feelings were there, and she needed that fruit for herself. She decided herself, and wasn't directly tricked in any way in the mind, she genuinely believed the fruit.
That night, she snuck into his quarters to steal the fruit, and felt lucky to have found it empty. But once she started going through the drawers, some invisible arms wrapped themselves around her throat. "I saw that look in your eyes, you wanted it," the man growled, turning visible as he chuckled. "Sorry, but the belli is mine~" She coughed, gasping for air as she tried freeing herself, but couldn't budge him. She felt herself start to pass out, but then he let her go, causing her to stumble forward a bit. "Now get out before I-" he's cut off as a kick to his chin threw him to the side, and she returned to the drawers to look for the fruit. As he got up, wiping blood from his mouth, she pulled out the Devil Fruit, and reached it for her mouth.
He tackled her, trying to get her to drop the fruit but she kept her grip on it, and pulled it to her face. He got her in another headlock, and pulled her on top of him so she couldn't free herself. He was crushed in an instant as her body began to increase in density, taking in the power as she swallowed the bite she managed to take. "Well... what a weird name," she said out loud dryly, pulling her blood soaked hands up and looked at them. "This will be the perfect power for my goals," she stated, getting up and beginning to clean up the mess. "Pity you had to die mister, but you don't understand what I'm after," she said, bowing to the puddle before wiping it away, leaving his quarters as if no one was ever there.
