Roxy's Reports 2: Go Onizuka
At Café Matsuo, in the morning, after Chapter 2, but before Chapter 3…
"So. You ready for the next Profile Page, Yuhiro?" Roxy asked him, as she took a bite of her cereal.
"Obviously." Yuhiro answered, eating one of his blue-berry tarts. The two of them were in the kitchen part of the second floor, eating breakfast. "I'm guessing it's on Go Onizuka?"
"That's correct!" Roxy answered. "I already got the basics down, so you can tell me about his deck, his strategy, and how the duel went."
"Okay." Yuhiro put a hand to his chin as he replayed the duel in his head. "As you know, Go Onizuka uses a 'Gouki' deck, focused on three things. One: Swarming the field through consecutive summons. Two: Gaining new resources from his deck. Three: Deliver a 'Beatdown' through his Gouki Link Monsters."
"Nice points, Yuhiro." Roxy said, as she typed that information down on her computer. "Go's ace monster?"
"Gouki the Great Ogre." Yuhiro immediately told her.
"Tell me about his dueling style." Roxy already knew what it was, but she wanted Yuhiro to say it.
"Go's dueling style is all about bringing Entertainment through an old-fashioned style of dueling." Yuhiro recalled. "He makes his enemies seem stronger, and then turns the tables using his Gouki Link Monsters to win the duel."
"Do you mind if I ask you for your opinion on something?" Roxy asked.
"Yeah, sure. What's up?" Yuhiro responded.
"If you could give Go a duel grade, with D being Dismal to SSS being Smokin Sexy Style, what would you give him?"
Yuhiro put a hand to his chin for a minute. Sure, Go was the #1 Charisma Duelist in LINK VRAINS, and he did hold that title for a very long time. But ever since Playmaker and him dueled Go, most of the people are shifting their attention towards them, which he didn't like.
Regardless, he'd be lying if he said Go's skills as a duelist were second-rate. He had to work hard to get to where he was today. And the fact that Go gave back to the orphanage he grew up at showed he was a good person at heart.
He decided on his answer. "I'd give Go a B. For Badass, I believe the term was?"
Roxy nodded as she typed it down on her computer. "Okay. I got everything down. Tell me if I missed anything."
Yuhiro looked at the profile Roxy wrote for Go. He had to admit. It wasn't bad.
Name: Go Onizuka
VRAINS ID: Go Onizuka (he used his real name as his VRAINS' ID so that he'd be recognized. After all, it's what all celebrities would do.)
Other Aliases: King of LINK VRAINS (even though he lost against Playmaker and Raguel, the people still believe he's #1.)
Gender: Male.
Age: 19 years old.
Residence: Warehouse in the Shipping District (even though Go's a celebrity, he lives humbly. He is definitely a good role-model, especially for the children in the orphanage he was raised at.)
Job: Charisma Duelist
Deck: Gouki
Ace Monster(s): Gouki the Great Ogre
Skill: Fighting Spirit (Once per duel, Go can Special Summon all 'Gouki' monsters that were destroyed in battle. By activating this Skill on his opponent's turn, Go can not only save himself from defeat, but also make a strong comeback.)
LINK VRAINS' History: Rose to become the #1 Charisma Duelist in LINK VRAINS before getting defeated by both Playmaker and Raguel (even with those losses, he's still running!).
Duel Grade right now: B (Badass) (Go's skills as a duelist are really good, way better than that grunt Yuhiro fought. However, until Go gets better, he'll only get this grade.)
Notes: Go's Gouki deck uses a straightforward aggressive beatdown strategy, focused on either increasing their attack points or decreasing the opponent's monsters attack points. The deck also have two other functions as well.
One: Swarm the field through consecutive summons so Go can bring out his Gouki Link Monsters and dish out the pain.
Two: After he Link Summons, Go can acquire new resources from his deck, as long as the Gouki cards he adds have different names than the ones sent to the Graveyard.
Did you know that the Gouki deck is based off of wrestling moves and famous wrestlers? Makes me want to watch professional wrestling again (ha-ha!).
Based on our research, Go grew up in an orphanage, and ever since becoming the #1 Charisma Duelist, he donated a portion of his winnings to that orphanage. He's a good guy not just in my book, but in Yuhiro's as well.
"This pretty much sums up Go Onizuka." Yuhiro commented. Suddenly, his watch started beeping. "Guess it's time to head out for school. I'll see ya later, Roxy!" He then ran out of the kitchen and raced downstairs towards the door.
"See you this afternoon!" Roxy called back. As she picked up her cereal bowl and rinsed it out in the sink, she thought to herself, You're a good kid, Yuhiro. The fact that you care for others, just like Go, makes you different from the rest. She sighed. I do hope you eventually find peace.

Author's Notes
Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the second Profile Page. This one was much shorter than the rest because it only covered one person. The next Profile Page will once again cover two people, only this time, it will be written and covered by Yuhiro himself.
See you next time!
