Roxy's Reports 34: A Special Surprise for You All

Hi, everyone! This is DivadX here! Before I get to the Special Surprise, I just want to thank everyone for taking the time to read the story. I know that it didn't get the best start, but I want all of you to know that I have plans for this story. Plans that will have it stick in people's minds for a long period of time. So for those of you who stuck around to read each chapter, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. If you know anyone who would be willing to give this story a shot, let them know as soon as you can!

Without further ado, I'd like to show you the Special Surprise. I hope you all enjoy it, and look forward to Season 3!

Several years ago, prior to Season 1, in LINK VRAINS...

Lord Kazuma materialized into a dark room that was lit up with neon-green lights. What the hell is this place, he wondered to himself. However, his thoughts went out the window as the air in front of him warped. Stepping out of it was a fair-skinned man with grey hair and light blue eyes. He wore a white suit with grey outlines and a black stripe on his chest, as well as white shoes.

"I take it you're the one who invited me here?" Lord Kazuma asked.

"Not necessarily," the man answered. "I'm just a spectator for the main event." He stepped to the side as a tan-skinned man with yellow eyes without irises or pupils, as well as black hair with orange and red highlights materialized into the room. He wore a white sleeveless coat with a white jumpsuit under it, black and red boots, a black-colored Duel Disk, with red accents, and gold-bullet shaped earrings. He also had a visor shaped in the form of a mask covering his face.

"I'm Revolver, leader of the Knights of Hanoi," the man introduced himself. "And beside me is Specter." He turned to face Lord Kazuma. "You are Lord Kazuma, yes?"

"Correct." Lord Kazuma confirmed. "If you know about me, then you're aware of what I do, right?"

"Oh, we're aware, Lord Kazuma." Specter replied. "You're a duel assassin on the black market. Someone hired to eliminate pesky duelists and acquire their cards if necessary."

"We also know about your life outside of LINK VRAINS." Revolver added, much to Lord Kazuma's surprise. "How you failed to be a comedian, and the boredom that followed. Deep down, you want to do something so spectacular that it fulfils your dreams and job at the same time."

Lord Kazuma put a hand to his chin as he thought about what Revolver said. Even though he was content with what he had, there was still a part of him that was still... bored. At that moment, the words of Kazuma Saromi appeared in his head. The world may have thrown you away, but you must try to be happy, even if it means hurting others. "You make a valid point, Revolver. No matter what I do to obtain happiness, I get bored in the end."

"Which is why the Knights of Hanoi have a solution to your dilemma." Revolver pointed out, getting Lord Kazuma's attention. "There's an enemy that will take a long time to kill. And since they are a species, you'll have the chance of showing off your best performances."

"Plus, we've heard about your work in the barista." Specter added. "As we'll be spending who knows how long to kill this enemy, we'll be needing the best coffee to get through those long days and nights." Revolver turned to look at Specter before raising an eyebrow at him.

"How interesting." Lord Kazuma thought it over. "This is a golden opportunity I cannot pass. I accept!"

"Not so fast." Revolver suddenly said. "You can't just join the Knights of Hanoi. You must prove yourself." He readied his Duel Disk.

Lord Kazuma smirked. A Duel Initiation? This was awesome. "If you insist." He also readied his own Duel Disk. "But a fair warning: I'm unpredictable."

"I don't expect anything less from a duel assassin."

"Duel!" Revolver and Lord Kazuma shouted in unison.

Revolver: 4000 LP

Lord Kazuma: 4000 LP

"I'll let you take the first turn. It's only fair that you set your field up for what's to come." Revolver said.

"Thank you for the courteous offer, Revolver. I will gladly take it." Lord Kazuma decided. "My turn! I activate the Quick-Play Spell card, Hand Destruction. Now the both of us must discard two cards from our hands before drawing two new cards from our decks." Both duelists discarded two cards before drawing two new cards from the top of their respective decks.

"Next, I activate the Field Spell card, Secret Village of the Spellcasters. While I control a Spellcaster monster, you cannot activate any Spell cards. But if I control no Spellcaster monsters, I cannot activate any Spell cards."

"Oh?" Revolver frowned. That... was going to be a troublesome card. But seeing how strong Lord Kazuma was as a duel assassin, it was only logical for him to prep himself for what was to come.

"I summon Magician's Rod from my hand." Lord Kazuma continued, as a spectral version of a spellcaster with shiny, curved plates that had sharp edges and covered the torso and shoulder areas appeared on Lord Kazuma's field. It carried a long rod in its hands.

Magician's Rod ATK: 1600 DEF: 100 LV: 3

"When this card is Normal Summoned, I get to add a Spell or Trap card that specifically lists the card 'Dark Magician' in its text. Let's see here. How about this one?" A card popped out of Lord Kazuma's deck before he added it to his hand. "I activate the Continuous-Spell card, Dark Magical Circle! Now I can look at the top three cards of my deck for a 'Dark Magician' or a Spell or Trap card listing 'Dark Magician' specifically in its text. Then by revealing it to you, I get to add it to my hand." Lord Kazuma looked at the top three cards of his deck before choosing one. "I reveal to you the Continuous-Trap card, Eternal Soul." He took the declared card and added it to his hand.

"How interesting. It appears Lord Kazuma has the deck that belongs to the King of Games himself, Master Revolver..." Specter stated.

"It's interesting indeed, Specter." Revolver agreed, before turning back to Lord Kazuma. "I'm curious. Where did you get such a rare deck?"

"My mentor passed it onto me before he passed away." Lord Kazuma sadly answered, which made both Revolver and Specter frown in response. That answer was... not what they expected at all. "But moving forward, I activate the Spell card, Monster Reborn. This card lets me target a monster in either of our Graveyards, and Special Summons it to my field. I Special Summon Dark Magician from my Graveyard to my field." A spellcaster in dark blue armour with shiny, curved plates that had sharp edges and covered the torso and shoulder areas appeared on his field. On the edges of the plates were curved trimmings of contrasting shade. He had blue-coloured skin and white hair, and in his right hand was a dark blue rod.

Dark Magician ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000 LV: 7

"I then activate the Spell card, Offerings to a Higher Power. By sending one monster on my field to my Graveyard, I can draw two cards. I send Magician's Rod from my field to my Graveyard, and draw!" After Magician's Rod turned into particles, Lord Kazuma drew the top two cards of his deck.

"I Set two cards face-down and end my turn." Lord Kazuma concluded.

"My turn! I draw!" Revolver said, as he drew the top card of his deck.

"Not so fast! Continuous-Trap, activate! Eternal Soul!" Lord Kazuma interrupted. "Now every Dark Magician in my Main Monster Zones are unaffected by your card effects! I also activate Eternal Soul's other effect, which lets me either Special Summon Dark Magician from my hand or Graveyard, or I get to add one 'Thousand Knives' or 'Dark Magic Attack' from my deck to my hand. I choose effect one, and bring back a copy of Dark Magician from my Graveyard to my field." At Lord Kazuma's command, a second copy of Dark Magician appeared on his field.

Dark Magician ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000 LV: 7

"How interesting. You have two monsters on my field, a Field Spell card to restrict my moves, a Continuous-Trap card to either resurrect your monsters or add cards to your hand, and a face-down card to assist you in case of worst case scenarios. Not bad at all. But you're mistaken if you thought that would stop me." Revolver smirked. "I activate the Trap card, Typhoon from my hand."

"From your hand?" Lord Kazuma repeated.

"If you control two or more Spell or Trap cards and I have no Spell or Trap cards on my field, I can activate this card from my hand." Revolver explained. "And when Typhoon is activated, I can target one Spell or Trap card you control and destroy it. So say goodbye to Secret Village of the Spellcasters!" A typhoon burst out of the card that Revolver played, which turned Secret Village of the Spellcasters into particles, much to Lord Kazuma's ire.

"Now with that card out of the way, I activate the Continuous-Spell card, Dragonoid Generator by paying 1000 life points." Revolver winced as his life points decreased upon activating Dragonoid Generator.

Revolver: 4000 – 1000 = 3000 LP

"Up to twice per turn, I can Special Summon a 'Dragonoid' Token to my field. But in exchange, I can't Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn. What's more, at the End Phase, the number of 'Dragonoid' Tokens I summon are Special Summoned to your field. Thus, I Special Summon two 'Dragonoid' Tokens to my field!" At Revolver's command, two small dragons with the lower body of a spike appeared on his field.

Dragonoid Token ATK: 300 DEF: 300 LV: 1

Dragonoid Token ATK: 300 DEF: 300 LV: 1

"I now tribute both Dragonoid Tokens on my field to Tribute Summon Cracking Dragon to my field!" Revolver continued, as both Dragonoid tokens turned into particles. After doing so, a black and green mechanical dragon with six bladed wings attached by six glowing lights appeared on Revolver's field.

Cracking Dragon ATK: 3000 DEF: 0 LV: 8

"Cracking Dragon. I'm to assume that's your main go-to monster, right? Because if it is, I can't let you use it to its full potential!" Lord Kazuma proclaimed after quickly looking up its effects before gesturing to his field. "Continuous-Trap, activate! Fiendish Chain! I can target one monster on the field, and not only negate its effects, but prevent it from attacking while it's on the field. I obviously target Cracking Dragon!" Chains erupted from Fiendish Chain as they wrapped around Cracking Dragon, which made it groan before its strength was diminished.

"Not bad, Lord Kazuma, but it won't be good enough." Revolver replied. "I activate the Spell card, Return of the Dragon Lords. This card lets me target one Level 7 or 8 Dragon monster in my Graveyard, and Special Summon it to my field."

"What?" Lord Kazuma gasped.

"I target Pandemic Dragon in my Graveyard, and Special Summon it to my field!" Soon, a violet-colored dragon with several protrusions that formed a biohazard symbol appeared on Revolver's field.

Pandemic Dragon ATK: 2500 DEF: 1000 LV: 7

Revolver must have sent that monster to his Graveyard when I activated Hand Destruction's effect, Lord Kazuma deduced in his mind. "I'm not sure what you're up to, but my Dark Magicians are unaffected by your card effects."

"True, but they can still leave the field through different means." Revolver responded. "I activate the Spell card, Gift of the Martyr. By sending one monster on my field to my Graveyard, I can target one monster I control, and have it gain attack points equal to the monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect until the end of this turn. I send Cracking Dragon from my field to my Graveyard, and target Pandemic Dragon!" After Cracking Dragon turned into particles, they went into Pandemic Dragon, which increased its strength within seconds.

Pandemic Dragon ATK: 2500 + 3000 = 5500

"And with Cracking Dragon gone, that means Fiendish Chain is gone as well." Revolver smirked as Fiendish Chain turned into particles. "Battle! Pandemic Dragon attacks Dark Magician!" Pandemic Dragon fired purple energy that generated in its mouth at Dark Magician, who screamed in pain before turning into particles. Lord Kazuma had to shield himself from the blast as his life points massively decreased.

Lord Kazuma: 4000 – 3000 = 1000 LP

"I Set one card face-down and end my turn, which means the effect of Gift of the Martyr ends, and Pandemic Dragon loses its attack boost." Revolver began concluding, as an aura surrounded Pandemic Dragon that reverted its strength to normal.

Pandemic Dragon ATK: 5500 – 3000 = 2500

"In addition, Dragonoid Generator's effect activates. Now you must Special Summon two 'Dragonoid' tokens to your field."

"Very well. I Special Summon two 'Dragonoid' tokens to my field." Lord Kazuma complied, as two 'Dragonoid' tokens appeared on his field.

Dragonoid Token ATK: 300 DEF: 300 LV: 1

Dragonoid Token ATK: 300 DEF: 300 LV: 1

"From what you've shown me, it's a good start. However, if you want to stand alongside us, you must prove your strength!" Revolver shouted.

"Master Revolver is right, Lord Kazuma. Show us the skills you've developed over the years as a duel assassin." Specter added.

"Be careful what you ask for." Lord Kazuma warned both Revolver and Specter, as he did a small stretch to alleviate himself from the pain going through his body. "My turn! I draw!" He drew the top card of his deck. Excellent. If everything goes according to plan, then I'll be able to defeat him and prove myself, he thought in his mind.

"For one to be a Knight of Hanoi, they must be prepared to strike back against any and all opposition, such as this!" Revolver replied. "Trap card, activate! Heavy Storm Duster! This card lets me target up to two Spell and Trap cards on the field and destroy them!"

"Oh no!" Lord Kazuma gasped.

"I target and destroy Eternal Soul and Dark Magical Circle!" Two typhoons of energy fired out of Heavy Storm Duster and turned both Eternal Soul and Dark Magical Circle into particles.

"Since Eternal Soul left the field, all monsters on my field are destroyed." Lord Kazuma said, as Dark Magician and both copies of Dragonoid Generator turned into particles.

Revolver smirked. "Now, Lord Kazuma. Show me how you'll respond to what just happened."

"With pleasure! I activate the effect of Magicians' Souls in my hand. By sending a Level 6 or higher Spellcaster monster from my deck to my Graveyard, I can activate one of two effects. I send Dark Magician Girl from my deck to my Graveyard to activate Magicians' Souls second effect. By sending this card from my hand to my Graveyard, I can Special Summon 'Dark Magician' or 'Dark Magician Girl' from my hand or Graveyard to my field. Now come from the Graveyard, Dark Magician!" After Lord Kazuma sent a card from his hand to his field, Dark Magician reappeared on his field.

Dark Magician ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000 LV: 7

"Next I activate the effect of Soul Servant in my Graveyard." Lord Kazuma continued. "By banishing it from my Graveyard, I can draw cards equal to the number of 'Palladium', 'Dark Magician', and 'Dark Magician Girl' monsters with different names on my Field and in my Graveyard. I currently have Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl in my Graveyard, which means I can draw two cards from the top of my deck." He drew the top two cards of his deck seconds later.

Interesting. Lord Kazuma used one card in his hand to not only bring back his monster, but also set up the effect of Soul Servant in his Graveyard to draw more cards, Revolver summed up in his mind. Let's see where he goes from here.

"I now activate the Spell card, The Eye of Timaeus. When this card is activated, I can target a Dark Magician monster I control and Fusion Summon using both it and this card as Fusion Material! Emerge, Timaeus!" At Lord Kazuma's command, a four-legged turquoise dragon appeared on his field. The dragon had large fins on the sides of his head, with two large horns on the top. But what was evident the most about Timaeus was the scar that went over his right eye.

"Be on your guard, Master Revolver. That's..." Specter began speaking.

"Timaeus. One of the three Legendary Dragons of legend." Revolver finished, as he began to brace himself.

Upon appearing on Lord Kazuma's field, both Timaeus and Dark Magician disintegrated into blue and red particles of energy, which swirled into a vortex. Two tornadoes of energy then shot upwards and merged to form a white and yellow whirlwind.

"The legendary magician and dragon of legend shall unite to conquer their enemy!" Lord Kazuma chanted. "Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Dark Magician the Dragon Knight!" Dark Magician reappeared standing on the back of Timaeus, who was summoned to the right Extra Monster Zone. This time, Dark Magician wore silver armor all over his body. Instead of his dark blue rod, he now carried a sword with a jewel on it in his right hand.

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight ATK: 3000 DEF: 2500 LV: 8

"Just a heads up, not only is Dark Magician the Dragon Knight also treated as 'Dark Magician' while he's on my field or in my Graveyard, you can no longer target or destroy my Spell and Trap cards while he's on the field." Lord Kazuma informed Revolver. "But moving forward, I activate the Quick-Play Spell card, Dark Magic Inheritance. By banishing two Spell cards from my Graveyard, I can add one Spell or Trap card from my deck to my hand that specifically lists the card 'Dark Magician' or 'Dark Magician Girl' in its text. I banish Offerings to a Higher Power and Monster Reborn from my Graveyard, and add Bond Between Teacher and Student from my deck to my hand." A card popped out of Lord Kazuma's deck, which he took and added to his hand.

"From there, I activate the Spell card, Bond Between Teacher and Student. As I control Dark Magician, I can Special Summon Dark Magician Girl from my deck to my field. Now come! Dark Magician Girl!" A teenage girl in blue robes with a pink skirt and small pink cape winked at Ace as she appeared beside Dark Magician on Lord Kazuma's field. She had long, blond spiky hair that extended to the middle of her back. On top of her head was a blue wizard's hat with pink rings encircling it. She also wore high-heeled blue boots with pink rings as well. In her hands, she carried a scepter.

Dark Magician Girl ATK: 2000 DEF: 1700 LV: 6

"Dark Magician Girl gains 300 attack points for every 'Dark Magician' or 'Magician of Black Chaos' monsters in the Graveyards." Lord Kazuma explained. "As I control 'Dark Magician' on my field, and have two copies of him in my Graveyard, that means Dark Magician Girl gains 900 attack points!" Dark Magician Girl was surrounded in a magical aura that increased her strength.

Dark Magician Girl ATK: 2000 + (300 X 3) = 2900

"Last but not least, I activate the Spell card, Dark Magic Twin Burst. This card lets me target one 'Dark Magician' I control and have him gain attack points equal to the attack points of Dark Magician Girl on my field until the end of this turn. As I control only one copy of Dark Magician Girl, and Dark Magician the Dragon Knight is treated as 'Dark Magician' while on my field or in my Graveyard, that means Dark Magician the Dragon Knight gains 2000 attack points!" Timaeus roared as a purple aura surrounded him and Dark Magician, which increased their strength.

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight ATK: 3000 + 2000 = 5000

"Battle!" Lord Kazuma declared. "Dark Magician the Dragon Knight attacks Pandemic Dragon! Dark Decimation!" Timaeus flew high into the air as Dark Magician traced several dark magical circles in front of them and towards Pandemic Dragon. Timaeus then fired a blast of energy through the rings, getting stronger with each ring that it went through.

"Impressive, Lord Kazuma. But that won't be enough!" Revolver replied. "I activate the effect of Rise to Full Height from my Graveyard."

"From your Graveyard?" Lord Kazuma repeated, before gasping. That must be one of the cards he sent to the Graveyard through Hand Destruction's effect, he realized in his mind.

"By banishing it from my Graveyard, I can target one monster I control, and monsters you control can't attack for the rest of this turn, except to attack that monster. I target Pandemic Dragon!" As if on cue, Pandemic Dragon was covered in a yellow aura before the blast fired from Timaeus destroyed it. The explosion that resulted from it pushed Revolver back as his life points dropped.

Revolver: 3000 – 2500 = 500 LP

"Pandemic Dragon's second effect activates! When it's destroyed by battle or card effect, all monsters you control lose 1000 attack points!" Revolver added, as purple auras with disease-like particles surrounded Dark Magician the Dragon Knight and Dark Magician Girl, which decreased their strength.

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight ATK: 5000 – 1000 = 4000

Dark Magician Girl ATK: 2900 – 1000 = 1900

Thanks to Rise to Full Height, I can't attack for the rest of this turn, Lord Kazuma cursed in his mind. "You may have stopped me from winning this turn, but I still have other moves to make. Like this one! I activate the effect of Trap Re-Arm in my Graveyard!"

"It appears that's the other card Lord Kazuma sent to his Graveyard through Hand Destruction." Specter assessed, before turning to Revolver. "Be on your guard, Master Revolver."

"Oh, don't worry, Specter. I intend to proceed with caution." Revolver promised Specter.

"By banishing this card from my Graveyard, I can not only Set one Trap card from my deck to my field, I'm also allowed to activate it the turn it was Set. I Set Magician's Combination from my deck to my field." Lord Kazuma decided, as he took a card from his deck, which he took and Set to his field.

"I end my turn, which means Dark Magic Twin Burst's effect ends, and Dark Magician the Dragon Knight loses the attack boost." Dark Magician the Dragon Knight was surrounded in a purple aura that returned his strength to normal.

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight ATK: 4000 – 2000 = 2000

With Magician's Combination, I can negate the effect of whatever card Revolver activates. Not just that, I can tribute Dark Magician Girl to bring Dark Magician back to my field. All in all, I should be set to survive Revolver's turn, Lord Kazuma thought in his mind.

"My turn! I draw!" Revolver said, as he drew the top card of his deck. "Despite the setback, you managed to inflict massive damage to me. You could say that you're doing better than any duelist I've dueled so far. I'm impressed."

"Seriously?" Lord Kazuma inquired out of surprise.

"That's right. You should be proud of yourself." Revolver confirmed. "But moving that aside, I activate Dragonoid Generator's effect. Up to twice per turn, I can-."

"Planning on bringing out stronger monsters? I can't let you do that!" Lord Kazuma suddenly said, as he gestured to his field. "Continuous-Trap, activate! Once per turn, this card lets me tribute either Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl to Special Summon one or the other from my hand or Graveyard, as long as its name is different. By doing so, I can negate the activated effect. I tribute Dark Magician Girl to bring back Dark Magician from my Graveyard!" A gateway then appeared from the card, which Dark Magician Girl went into before disappearing from the field. Seconds later, Dark Magician reappeared on his field.

Dark Magician ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000 LV: 7

Soon, Magician's Combination fired a blast that went out of the card and hit Dragonoid Generator, turning it into particles.

"In that case, I activate the Spell card, Pot of Greed. This card lets me draw the top two cards of my deck." Revolver drew the top two cards of his deck before looking at them, and grinned after doing so. "Prepare for the end, Lord Kazuma. Since you control a monster with 2000 or more attack points, I can Special Summon Schwarzschild Limit Dragon from my hand to my field." A long, orange-skinned serpentine dragon with dark-brown armor appeared on Revolver's field.

Schwarzschild Limit Dragon ATK: 2000 DEF: 0 LV: 8

"I also activate the Quick-Play Spell card, Flying Dragon Whirl. I can target one monster I control and send up to four Dragon monsters from my deck to my Graveyard. Then for each Dragon monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect, the targeted monster gains 300 attack points until the End Phase."

"What?!" Lord Kazuma exclaimed.

"You heard me." Revolver took four cards from his deck. "I send Samsara Dragon, Background Dragon, Spin-Headed Behemoth, and Linkbelt Wall Dragon from my deck to my Graveyard. That means Schwarzschild Limit Dragon gains a total of 1200 attack points." After Revolver took the four cards and sent them to his Graveyard, Schwarzschild Limit Dragon roared as its strength increased.

Schwarzschild Limit Dragon ATK: 2000 + (300 X 4) = 3200

"Battle!" Revolver declared. "Schwarzschild Limit Dragon attacks Dark Magician the Dragon Knight!" Schwarzschild Limit Dragon charged fiery energy in its maw before firing it at Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, which turned the duo into particles as Lord Kazuma was sent flying off the ground, his life points having dropped to zero by the time he landed on his back.

Lord Kazuma: 1000 – 1200 = 0

"Damn it. I was close..." Lord Kazuma muttered, as he slowly tried to stand up on his feet.

"Like I said earlier, you've done better than any duelist I've ever dueled so far." Revolver repeated, as he and Specter walked over to Lord Kazuma.

"You guys aren't gonna wipe my memory of our encounter, right? I mean, I failed. So it's only logical that-."

"And let such powerful talent go to waste? No. Not at all." Specter assured Lord Kazuma.

"The strength you've shown today is more than enough proof of your skills, Lord Kazuma. Such strength is what the Hanoi needs to complete our mission." Revolver continued. "To put it simply, you passed the initiation. Welcome to the Knights of Hanoi." He offered Lord Kazuma hand, the latter having immediately took it before standing up.

"I look forward to working with you all." Lord Kazuma happily said. "Pardon me for asking, but what enemy are you guys dealing with that led to you needing my assistance? When it comes to hunting down my targets, I find that the more you know about each one, the more you can identify how to best eliminate them."

"I like where this man's going with this, Master Revolver. The others will certainly find him a tactical ally for sure." Specter stated.

"So do I, Specter." Revolver agreed, before turning back to Lord Kazuma and extending his right hand to him. "The Knights of Hanoi will provide the information you need, Lord Kazuma."

A smirk appeared on Lord Kazuma's face as he shook Revolver's hand. "Excellent. Then let's get started!"

Author's Notes

Hi, everyone! I hoped you enjoyed the special surprise! Allow me to explain why I chose this duel for the Special Surprise: Back when Chapter 32 was released, some of you were disappointed that you didn't see the initiation duel between Revolver vs. Lord Kazuma. So I thought I'd put it in as a thank you for reading the story so far.

A few more things to cover below.

One: If a chapter for Roxy's Reports has enough reviews, then I'll answer them. That being said, I'll only answer reviews for a Roxy's Reports should there be more than three reviews on it.

Two: With this duel, I'd like to introduce something called Off-Screen Duels. These are duels that occurred in the story, but weren't shown due to other parts of the chapter taking priority. Let me know what you think of this duel, and if there's enough demand for other Off-Screen Duels, then I'll put them in moving forward.

Three: I encourage you to read Roxy's Reports after reading the chapters, as they cover events in between chapters. What's more, there will be post credits scenes, just like in Season 2. They will be posted below Author's Notes moving forward instead of being a part of the overall chapter. Remember: The goal of Post Credits scenes is to provide a sneak peek at what's to come, so ensure you read Roxy's Reports moving forward in order not to be confused on what's going on.

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed the first Roxy's Reports after Season 2. Next up will be Chapter 94, or the first chapter of Season 3. I hope you enjoy! But in the meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the post credits scene down below!

Post Credits Scene

Present day, at SOL Technologies, one day after Chapter 93...

"Well, this sucks. With the Ignis gone, our plans for a High Performance Ignis have been shut down." Lycaon commented in a disappointing tone, as he appeared in the digital landscape.

"Blame that on Playmaker and his allies, Lycaon. Their actions in stopping our bounty hunters, along with them going after Mirror LINK VRAINS to stop the Light Ignis have resulted in seven of the eight Ignis being destroyed." Perseo stated, as he also appeared in the digital landscape.

"It's a loss indeed, brothers. Regardless, we do have data on hand to look at." Jeromy assured Perseo and Lycaon, as he also appeared in the digital landscape. Seconds later, a massive digital screen appeared, which showed the duel between Playmaker and Bohman.

"I'm curious, Jeromy. Where did you get this footage?" Lycaon asked.

"With the right amount of money, you can get anything, Lycaon. Father taught the three of us that." Jeromy reminded Lycaon. The trio watched as Bohman immediately brought out Chimera Hydradrive Dragrid before further activating the Neuron Link. What caught their attention was the shadowy, ribbon-like tentacles that appeared before infecting it.

"It appears someone's meddled in the duel." Perseo observed.

"No shit, sherlock." Lycaon said with a giggle. Perseo glared back at Lycaon upon hearing that comment. Why must Lycaon make snide remarks almost all of the time?

The trio continued watching the duel as Playmaker fought back by Synchro Summoning Cyberse Quantum Dragon. Sadly, that didn't work, as Bohman used Master Storm Access to acquire a new Link monster from the data storm, where he immediately used Dragrid's effect to roll a dice and bring out Draghead – Aqua. This surprised the Kings, as no one can use a Skill during both player's turns.

Once Bohman's turn came around, he once again used Master Storm Access to acquire a new Link monster from the data storm, where he immediately used Dragrid's effect to roll a dice and bring out Draghead – Flame. Bohman then had Draghead – Flame destroy Quantum Dragon afterwards.

Perseo narrowed his eyes upon seeing that something was up. "Hold on a minute." Pointing his sword at the screen, he immediately moved the footage around to identify what was happening behind the scenes. From what Perseo learned, there was always something happening in footage. All you had to do was adjust and peel enough layers to find this information. There, he thought, as he narrowed his eyes at the barrier on one of the buildings. Green energy filled his eyes as Perseo dissected the barrier from the footage, and upon doing so, he gasped. "Impossible..."

"What's gotten you all scared, Perseo? Surely, you wouldn't-." Lycaon began speaking, before looking at the same thing Perseo was looking at on the screen. After doing so, he let out a gasp of horror as well. The figure that was there was someone the trio thought was gone.

Dairoku Saionji.

Their father.

"How can this be? He should be dead!" Jeromy exclaimed, a look of shock evident on his face.

"It seems that dear old dad had some friends in high places after getting exiled." Perseo deduced. "But what about the other guy he's dueling?"

"I'm sure that's something else we'll find out in due time." Lycaon said, before placing his hands on both sides of his head. "Oh, no, no, no. Why is this happening now of all times?!"

Perseo turned to Jeromy. "Do you think Arshad Saito had something to do with this?"

"Maybe. Maybe not. But what we're seeing is not good at all." Jeromy replied. "It's most likely that there are other areas and individuals in the network. Ones we're not aware about at all."

"Our father must have taken refuge with them. Just when things couldn't get anymore worse than they already have!" Lycaon stated, panic still evident in his tone.

"Ever since our failure to stop both the Turf War and the attacks in LINK VRAINS and in the real world, people have been losing faith in us. From the public demanding that we remove the bounties on Playmaker and his allies, to calling for justice on what happened to the Charisma duelists, and the loss of our business partners, the company is almost at a previous state it once was all those years ago." Perseo summed up, a grimace on his face as he made a fist with his right hand. "Then there's also the matter of not getting in contact with Balius after all of this time."

"And should father join Playmaker and his allies, then we'll lose everything we've built!" Lycaon realized.

"Indeed, Lycaon. SOL Technologies will face a greater calamity than what happened back then if we're not careful." Jeromy confirmed. "So let's stop wasting time, and take measures to destroy our enemies before it's too late!" He raised his right hand in front of him, which caused it to be surrounded by orange, fiery energy as a gateway was formed. The three Kings then stepped into the portal, which closed up behind them as they entered into a massive room. One that resembled of a combination between that of an assembly plant and a colosseum.

On the conveyer belt on the left, it consisted of humanoid androids with a white head and dark-blue padding on their bodies being put together by numerous robotic arms. Upon doing so, they were carried on large, rotating gyros before multiple programming chips and wires resembling that of brains were put inside their heads.

But on the conveyer belt on the right, it consisted of humanoid androids with black spandex covering their robotic bodies being put together by numerous robotic arms. Blue particles that formed into eyes were put in front of their heads, along with respirators on the sides so their heads resembled that of modern-day gas masks. Belts with SOL Technologies' insignia were strapped around the waist, and black and gloves with padding were attached to their hands. Duel disks with a silver, shield-like body and a green, sword-shaped blade were strapped to their arms before moving over to the next conveyer belt, where they were carried on large, rotating gyros. From there, Duel AI-Implant Chips were implanted into wires resembling that of brains before they were put inside the heads of each humanoid android. Once that was done, a deck of cards was put in the deck slot of their respective duel disks.

Lastly, on the conveyer belt overseeing the two conveyer belts below, it consisted of a purple, tall and muscular humanoid android with yellow lines on it legs and shoulders being put together by numerous robotic arms. Pink particles that formed into diamond-like eyes were put in front of its head, along with one on each of its hands that turned into diamond-like symbols. Black netting was attached to its arms, which took the form of human tissue. In addition, a Duel AI-Implant Chip was implanted into wires resembling that of a brain before they were put inside its head. Last but not least, a duel disk with silver, shield-like body and a purple, sword-shaped blade was attached to its left arm before a deck of cards were put in the deck slot.

"Ah, the Soltis. About time we launch this product." Lycaon commented.

"The ones released to the public will keep an eye on them in case anyone's up to funny business. And should any individuals attempt to stand against SOL Technologies..." Perseo began speaking.

"Then our foot soldiers and sergeant will eradicate them immediately." Jeromy finished. "Let's bury the past and our enemies once and for all! For a flashpoint is coming, and we will be the ones on top!"

Within seconds, the humanoid androids on the right conveyer belt activated before being released from the gyros that carried them. As for the purple, tall and muscular humanoid android with yellow lines on it legs and shoulders, it broke free from the gyro and stood up on its feet, having also been activated as well. All of them looked upward at the Kings as they saluted the trio, ready to fulfil their commands to the letter.
