Izuku and Luna knelt down together as their eyes locked onto the restrained Gigantomachia. During this ongoing war, a thread of hope has finally come to the rescue.
Minutes ago, Best Jeanist was heading toward the battlefield inside a cargo plane while watching Dabi's broadcast. The cargo plane slowly opened the ramp, causing several of the carbon fiber wires to glide out into the sky. Then, Best Jeanist leaped out of the aircraft.
At the same time, Dabi began to unleash his Flashfire Fist: Prominence Burn down towards Endeavor. But then, several carbon fiber wires wrapped and immobilized Dabi out of nowhere.
What the?! Dabi thought in surprise.
Dabi looked up and saw multiple large metal wires of carbon fibers from the sky. Along with them was a familiar pro hero…Best Jeanist.
"Sorry I'm late!" Best Jeanist apologized.
Shoto, Luna, Izuku, and Katsuki looked stunned at the number three hero's unexpected arrival.
"As of this moment, Best Jeanist is back." Best Jeanist announced.
White falling from the sky, Best Jeanist successfully managed to restrain Dabi and the rest of villains on Gigantomachia's back with his carbon fiber wires, including Gigantomachia himself.
"Apologies. It was my intention to arrive far earlier." Best Jeansit apologized as he landed one of the carbon fiber wires.
"Best Jeanist, where'd he come from?" Izuku questioned.
"I don't know." Luna said. "I thought he went missing after what happened in Kamino."
Iida lifted Katsuki up on his feet as Katsuki coughed blood out of his mouth.
"Bakugo!" Iida cried.
"And they said he was missing." Katsuki said with a grin. "Shows what they know."
"There's no way. You're supposed to be dead!" Dabi grumbled in anger. "The corpse I saw was real! So how the hell are you alive?"
"Greed has caused your plans to fall apart, like cheap denim!" Best Jeanist affirmed firmly.
Dabi glared at Best Jeanist in annoyance.
"Okay, fine, you're not dead." Dabi said. His entire body was beginning to glow in blue flames. "That doesn't make my past any less real." He looked up to see Shoto soaring above him with red flames propelling him under his right boot. "Right? You saw it yourself. Shoto!"
With an enraged expression, Shoto delivered a fiery punch to Dabi that caused blue and orange flames to clash.
While Spinner tried to wake up Tomura, Nejire suddenly soared out of nowhere and prepared to strike Tomura with her Nejire Flood. All of a sudden, Dabi's blue flames engulfed Nejire wholly, making her scream in pain. That caught Shoto's attention in horror.
"Hado! Hold on!" Shoto shouted.
Dabi laughed evilly as unconscious Nejire descended toward the ground.
"Uh-oh, Endeavor! You let somebody get burned again!" Dabi cried out with a malicious grin. "Another kid with a bright future ruined thanks to you!"
With a gleeful laugh, Dabi blazingly incinerated the carbon wires that had restrained him with the burning power of his blue flames.
"Damn it, stop!" Shoto pleaded frantically in a desperate tone.
Then, Nejire was swiftly engulfed in a sea green energy aura. Luna, Izuku, and Shoto turned their heads to see Aisha darting forward and catching Nejire in her arms that prevented one of the U.A.'s Big Three from crashing onto the ground.
"Thanks, Aisha!" Shoto shouted.
"No problem!" Aisha shouted back as she landed gently on the ground.
Izuku clenched his teeth while struggling to rise from the ground. Luna also tried to push herself off the ground with every amount of strength she got.
Best Jeanist extended two carbon fiber wires and ensnared Dabi's flaming body. He coughed up small blood from his mouth, but his serious face remained unmovable and hastened more carbon fiber wires towards the villains.
Unknown to the heroes and the students, Tomura managed to open up his crimson eyes and gazed mercilessly at Gigantomachia.
"Destroy it all…Machia." Tomura whispered.
Gigantomachia's eyes glowed white. He released a thunderous roar, causing the carbon wires to rupture from his body. That also made Best Jeanist having a shocking yet difficult time to restrict him.
Elsewhere, several of the Near High-End Nomus continued battling the Heroes. During the battle, four of the Near High-End Nomus ceased themselves from fighting and rotated around as they charged forward and headed their way to the battlefield.
Luna and Izuku helplessly watched the continuing outcome of the battlefield. Best Jeanist kept extending additional carbon fiber wires to keep Gigantomachia absolutely restrained while struggling to maintain full control over him. Shoto and Dabi began colliding fire-based strikes with each other. And worst of all, four Near High-End Nomus arrived on the battlefield and charged forward to strike at Best Jeanist from behind.
"Watch out, Best Jeanist!" Izuku and Luna shouted.
Best Jeanist understood, but he can't lose focus on restraining Gigantomachia.
With frantic faces, Izuku and Luna began pushing themselves off the ground with every ounce of willpower they got.
I have to get up. Can't let him get free. Izuku thought with gritted teeth. They seem evenly matched right now, but if Jeanist loses concentration, that giant and the League will be on the loose. Gotta do something! If I use Float and Blackwhip, it won't matter that my limbs are totally wrecked.
I've gotta help too. Luna thought while watching the Near High-End Nomus were dashing towards Best Jeanist. I don't care about my bruises. I need to use Dazzling Trinity and Dazzling Wings right now. Nobody has been saved yet. I refused to be a hopeless hero who was too slow and not strong enough to rescue anyone!
But Izuku and Luna weren't the only ones. Katsuki and Nejire were trying to muster their strength, so they too can get back in the action.
However, Endeavor was able to move from his position. He silently observed his oldest and youngest sons fighting each other with a discouraged expression on his face.
I'll protect Best Jeanist! Izuku and Luna hollered.
Then suddenly, the face of a familiar UA student rose from the field.
"Power!" Mirio exclaimed as he rocketed himself out of the ground.
Izuku and Luna's eyes widened in bewilderment.
With the power of his Quirk Permeation, Mirio swiftly pummeled all four Near High-End Nomus with incredible speed and brute strength.
"Let's hear it again! Power!" Mirio exclaimed again.
Once the Near High-End Nomus are down and out, Mirio began descending slowly in the air and looked down at Izuku and Luna with a beaming smile.
"It's Lemillion!" Luna gasped in surprise.
"Right when we needed you. But how did you know?" Izuku questioned in astonishment.
"The pros at the villa gave us a heads up, so I rushed over using Permeation." Mirio explained. "The Nighteye Agency was scouting a villain hideout nearby." He then glanced at Gigantomachia. "Dang, he's a big one, huh?"
Mirio quickly sank down into the ground. He then soared out of the ground and skillfully bypassed one of the Near High-End Nomus' onslaught.
"I wanted to end this fight fast, but it's gonna take way more than one punch." Mirio said to himself.
All four Near High-End Nomus began to charge towards Mirio.
"Heya, somebody! Help!" Miirio called out in an urgent tone.
Suddenly, Katsuki propelled through the sky with a barrage of stronger explosions.
My explosions earlier...were unlike any I've unleashed before. These were intense. strong, fast, distinct blasts. Katsuki thought. I've never felt such a rush. This what happens when you face death? Whatever. I'll save everyone.
Katsuki launched himself over to Best Jeanist and unleashed massive explosions at two Near High-End Nomus. He moved in front of Mirio and released another massive explosion at the third Near High-End Nomu. Iida immediately blasted himself off in the air and delivered a powerful kick that sent the Near High-End Nomu flying away from Katsuki.
"I can't take my eyes off you for a second!" Iida scolded concernedly. "Ground yourself! You shouldn't be fighting!"
Then, Nejire reentered the battle and unleashed giant spiral waves at the incoming Near High-End Nomus.
"Yo, Nejire! Are you sure you're all right?" Mirio asked with a concerned face.
"I'm peachy now that you're here." Nejire responded with a confident smirk. "Weird, huh?"
Luna hurriedly soared through the air with her Dazzling Wings and swiftly caught Katsuki in her arms.
"Miss me?" Luna asked with a smile.
"Always, babe." Katsuki smiled back.
Best Jeanist was too focused on restraining Gigantomachia with his carbon fiber wires, but he can sense Katsuki and Luna are airborne behind him.
"Were you able to look beyond yourself, Bakugo?" Best Jeanist asked.
"I chose a hero name! I wanted you to hear it in person first!" Katsuki shouted with a grin. "From now on call me...Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight! Got it?!"
Unfortunately, Katsuki's hero name earned contrasting reactions from both heroes and villains alike.
"Child!" Best Jeanist scolded.
"So long!" Iida commented.
"Big yikes." Nejire noted.
"How crude!" Mr. Compass criticized.
"Lame." Spinner remarked.
"That's an awesome hero name!" Mirio said with a laugh. "It's super funny."
"You take that back, ya moron!" Katsuki shouted.
Luna descended and placed her boyfriend on the ground.
"What do you think of my hero name, Luna?" Katsuki asked. "Be honest."
"Well, the name is pretty long. Maybe Dynamight is the perfect hero name." Luna answered. She stretched a soft smile on her face. "A perfect name to honor my dad."
Katsuki looked at his girlfriend with blushed cheeks. He closed his eyes and put a smile on his face.
"Heh…you can say that." Katsuki said.
Meanwhile, Shoto and Dabi kept striking fire-based attacks in their aerial battle. For a second, Dabi gazed at Best Jeanist and the UA students fighting against the Near High-End Nomus.
"Think your friends are having fun over there!" Dabi remarked with an amusing smile. He then lunged towards Shoto and embraced his youngest brother in a tight hug as he intensified the ferocity of his blazing flames. "But you look distraught. I'm worried you're not enjoying yourself."
"Yeah, well, you either…your body's burning up!" Shoto retorted in a strained voice.
"I'm glad you were raised to be a nice boy. Don't worry 'bout me. I'm not sure I've ever felt better." Dabi remarked. He glanced down at Endeavor, who stood motionless on the ground with a stunned face. "Look at that face. You may be his little masterpiece, but you're about to be killed by his greatest failure." He then erupted into manic laughter. "See how broken he is? It's too good!" He looked back at Shoto with a murderous grin. "Shoto! Can you imagine the expression Dad'll have when he watches my flames melt the flesh off your blackened bones?!"
Suddenly, a sea green aura of psychokinetic energy enveloped all around Dabi. Dabi's eyes looked around with confusion as the psychokinetic energy forcefully separated him from Shoto. Aisha then rose up in between Dabi and Shoto with her left arm outstretched forward.
"Well, well, well. Long time no see, Aisha." Dabi said. "But I would really appreciate it if you didn't stop our battle."
"Not gonna happen, Dabi." Aisha retorted. "If you mess with Shoto, then you mess with me! And I won't let you harm him any further!"
"Well, this is just cute." Dabi taunted. "Amazonite and Vondergeist's little princess has become my brother's knight in shining armor. But I'm afraid I can't let you interfere my fun with my baby brother."
All of a sudden, two Blackwhips suddenly entwined around Dabi and swiftly restrained him. Dabi looked around and found Izuku releasing his Quirk while floating in the air.
Blackwhip. Froppy Style! Izuku exclaimed.
"Back off! This fight is none of your business!" Dabi retorted.
Dabi incinerated Izuku's Blackwhip and Aisha's psychokinetic hold with his scorching blue flames. Shoto protected himself with a shield of his own flames as Aisha created a large protective force field of psychokinesis.
"Yes it is! Todoroki is my friend. And Endeavor is my mentor. He made me stronger!" Izuku countered. "The past never dies, sure. That's why...I'm watching Endeavor closely as he fights to be better. But you are not Endeavor!"
Izuku's words finally broke Endeavor out of his silently dazed trance, making him clench his hand into a fist.
"You're obsessed with his fire, but this is your Quirk, not his!" Izuku shouted.
After listening to Izuku's shouting words, Dabi laughed maliciously.
"Everyone can see we're nothing alike. But c'mon, don't you feel the least bit bad for me?" Dabi asked with an eerie smile. "I'm a crime committed by someone claiming to seek justice. Evil is flourishing because hero society is collapsing. I know you idiots need to be spoon-fed a story, so I'm showing you exactly who's to blame!"
Down below, Katsuki, Luna, and the rest of the UA students continued fighting against the ferocious Near High-End Nomus with everything they got with their Quirks.
Then, Gigantomachia roared powerfully as he nearly broke free from Best Jeanist's carbon fiber restraints.
"The future we're heading for is built on chaos. The lies you heroes spew won't matter anymore!" Dabi declared.
Before Izuku and Aisha could react with their activated Quirks, they saw Endeavor soaring toward Gigantomachia while engulfing himself in blazing flames.
With sheer determination, Endeavor struck a booming punch at Gigantomachia's face.
"Endeavor, no!" Izuku cried.
"Please, Dad!" Shoto shouted in worry.
Gigantomachia managed to recover from Endeavor's fiery strike. But suddenly, he found his physical strength waned from within.
"What happened…to my strength?" Gigantomachia asked.
Unable to resist, Gigantomachia collapsed to the ground just as Endeavor crashed down after losing his consciousness.
Spinner looked on at Gigantomachia in bewilderment.
"Machia!" Spinner yelled.
"We got a report from the heroes in the field. They said their plan had failed…But the sedative worked!" Mirio exclaimed with relief.
Dabi and Shoto returned to their fierce, aerial battle.
"Just when things were getting good!" Dabi exclaimed.
"It's obvious your body is overheating." Shoto remarked. He created spiky ice from the left side of his body, but Dabi's sizzling blue flames instantly vaporized the ice. "Look around. In a battle of wills, we have the upper hand."
"As I'd expect from his creation." Dabi taunted with a grin. His blue flames continued to grow even more intense. "Brother, you're making me proud."
With that, Shoto and Dabi charged forward as their flames clashed again.
Meanwhile, the UA students continued assaulting the Near High-End Nomus with their Quirks as they are doing their best to keep the monsters away from Best Jeanist. Mirio delivered a barrage of brute punches at the Nomus. With incredible speed, Iida delivered swift kicks at every Nomus in his sight. Nejire valiantly took down the relentless Nomus with spiraling energy blasts while skillfully dodging their incoming attacks. Katsuki looked very battered as he weakly struggled to maintain himself when a winged Near High-End Nomu came flying straight in his direction. He raised his shaking hand and prepared to release an explosion. But before he could strike, Luna sprang into action and unloaded a rapid barrage of pink energy blasts that hurtled the winged Nomu away.
Best Jeanist's eyes were beginning to bleed out from overusing his Quirk. In spite of that, the determined fiber hero kept restricting the villains' movements as tight as he could.
At the same time, Mr. Compress frustratingly struggled to wiggle his hands and tried to reach the binding cables. But he couldn't activate his Compress Quirk to get him, Spinner, and Tomura out of the carbon fiber wires.
Mr. Compass gazed down at the silent Tomura.
"You're no better, Shigaraki. Remember why you summoned us here? We were supposed to gather together and create a spectacle. What'd you have to go and get beaten up for? Now we're trapped!" Mr. Compress shouted in exasperation. His voice changed into determination. "It's just as Spinner said. We haven't done anything yet. Not Dabi. Nor Toga. Nor I. None of us have achieved our dreams! This cannot be where our performance ends!"
"Blackout Bind!" Best Jeanist shouted.
Best Jeanist controlled his carbon fiber threads and ensnared Spinner and Mr. Compass's necks, suffocating them into submission that will lead them to the state of unconsciousness.
The spotlight is mine now. It's time for these philistines to witness the greatest show on earth! Mr. Compass declared.
