Kuran stood in the Conference room and gazed at the collective Lords or their stand-ins, "I welcome you for coming. I know it was on a short schedule, but I am glad you managed to come here."

"The pleasure is always on our side" stated Lady Medin, "Thought… I have to ask… what is… this on your side?" She points at Beep, who is floating next to the Overlord.

"That will be in a minute," was the Overlord's answer, "The first thing I want to announce is: The mission with the Skeith was a success. We are officially now a Community of the Skeith."

"Why was that a goal in the first place?" Wondered Lady Miona.

"That is simple," chuckled Kuran, "By becoming a community, we are legally a place where Skeith can settle in. Normally they only claim a small territory for themselves to build the community. Since we are a kingdom-sized place, Skeith could decide to come to us and form sub-communities within ours. They only follow a common set of rules, pay taxes and provide us with a handful of people to keep our air force intact."

"And we gained a few allies, that will send the future rejected communities to us. Here they will be able to realize their dreams and also allow us to handle the overpopulation of the Skeith Forest," added Lehid.

The Overlord nodded in agreement, "And for our new comrades here… I suggest it's time to introduce themselves." gesturing to Beep.

"Huh, it doesn't seem to be a golem. I can't sense any magic from it." Wyslith stated.

"That is because I'm using a different power source, also I'm not a golem. I'm an artificial intelligence, AKA an A. I that is made from science." Beep told.

Everybody except Kuran and Lehid looked confused. Then the Overlord stated, "Think of a machine of the dwarfs that runs on thunderbolts and is controlled by a man-made spirit."

To which everybody let an "Ahhhh!"

Pointing at Beep it was Isadels turn to wonder, "And… where did you find… him? And why is he here?"

"Oh, he didn't find me. But the people I work with. Believe it or not, out there are more worlds. Beyond the sky, which has tech that makes this planet's dwarf jealous beyond their wildest comprehension." Beep explained, and gave a short but straight explanation of Feloians.

Kuran slammed a dagger on the table before any discussion could erupt, "Yes, there are other worlds! I have once seen proof in my adventurers' days. But let's concentrate on our topics here. Beep here represents a race from such a different world. And I gave them permission to settle on our lands in exchange for their knowledge."

"If they are so superior to the dwarves' technology, then why would they not simply take it?" asks Miona.

Isadel nods in agreement, "Or why would they share that technology with us if it brings us instantly above the dwarves' knowledge of technology?"

"It's not that simple, I'm afraid. A few generations ago, we lost our home planet and were forced to leave it behind while looking for a new place to live. Currently, some of the pieces of our tech are kind of, sorta unusable/reproductively. After all, living in a flying ship doesn't give us much material to work with, so we have to try to conserve, and the ship is 3 or 4 generations old." Beep explains.

"From what I have learned from Beep and from my prior experiences: Traveling between worlds is worse than between lands or continents oversee. You have absolutely nothing up there," explains Kuran, "And it can take a long time before you ever see anything remotely usable for you again. For one or two generations, they had not seen a single world they could visit."

"That… is a long time without additional supplies," admits Isadel in a nodding motion. "So their flying ship is kind of falling apart now, like a regular ship that couldn't be properly maintained for a long time?"

"Correct," told Kuran, "For now, they move a smaller ship they have to a place I pointed out and then they going to try to reach their big ship that is still high in the sky so we can talk with their leaders."

"Makes… sense," nodded Sindir and looked at Beep, "So, are all of your kind… floating objects? Also, would your leader agree to live under our Overlords rule?"

"The Feloians are feline organic beings. They are the ones who made me. And second, they can be reasoned with as long you keep your end of the bargain. Feloians have an honour code. So to speak, and if you don't break or sully their honour then you are in the clear." Beep explained.

"If they can make such a ship, would it make as much sense to create something that can make them travel almost instantly?" Halbert began to speak, "If their resources are capable in such a way would such a feat be possible?"

"It would be in… normal case" admits Beep, "But as stated earlier. The ship is reaching its end-of-life circle, and our main source of running our technology is running low. And the scan indicated that even the largest occurrence in this world would only help us to run for two more weeks. Trying to set up any kind of alternative energy source would deplete that source halfway before we finished even the production facilities to make the tools."

"In other words," translated Kuran once more, "Before they could make a regenerative form of what makes their machines run, their main source runs out. And steam like the dwarves use is not strong enough. They need to turn off most of their machines to preserve what they absolutely need and build up from there. With keeping what is absolutely necessary running a priority. I will admit, it will take years before we can reap all the advantages these new people will bring."

"Then what use do they have for us then?" scoffed Miona, "Aside from the gods knows how many mouths we have to extra feed?"

"Almost a city. But there will be benefits if you help us, while the Feloians are not only agile and strong hunters. We also have knowledge that can benefit the sick." Beep said. "For example, with the right ingredients, we make medicine that can treat people who got sick or got poisoned. Even with or without our tech, making those medicine won't be a problem. We can study this planet's resources."

Miona looks closer, "Even help those that got hurt in mines?"

"Absolutely! Our doctors are extremely reliable." Beep answered.

Miona nods, "Then I have no trouble here."

"Good." nods Kuran, "As for the spot. I planned to send them to the (NameForgotten) field, that Steadfast had burned. I hope they can restore the fields and repopulate the area. And if they proof themselves, I might name one of them the new Lord of Steadfast lands."

To this statement, Sindir chuckles, "So you already heard that your current lord there got murdered."

"Again?" Groans Isadel, and the dark elf facepalms, "That is the third lord in just eight months. That is ridiculous that Steadfast old army is that hellbent to try and still resist for their dead lord."

"More ridiculous than this unknown killer that wipes out any cell that tries to form an army or direct adept on my life?" asks Sindir with a raised eyebrow.

"Why should I care? Silence is properly the one who does that," stated Isadel

"Afraid not." countered Kuran, "Silence didn't leave the tower for weeks to keep the other Chaos in order. Or somewhat in order." causing the others to be confused.

"If there are no other things to talk about, I am ending this meeting. Thought I am asking Wyslith to stay here for a bit longer."

All the lords looked at each other. Until Beep steps in. "If I may, I might have an idea of how to scare those Steadfast."

"Scaring them. Who are hellbent on killing me because of my title of Overlord. Who, in most cases, are the equivalent of all evil in this world. Have in the same amount of cases people around that are more than crazy enough to try and wipe all evil out of this world?" asks Kuran in curiosity. "And whose former leader BURNED my first Mistress alive?"

"Why yes. But before I continue, was there something else those guys are hellbent to find and kill before YOU come along? Like… I don't know a demon that fought against their god or something?"

"My predecessor." stare Kuran, "Which I helped to kill. And if you suggest he could be "alive" for them: Minions follow only one lord, not more."

"Oh, I don't need him to be alive or not. All I need is a clear picture of him, some details of his characteristics and many more." Beep said.

"A despot that eats children for breakfast," stated Halbert without pause, "And even made their parents watch."

"He kept his tower warm with the burning bodies of everybody who looks at him the wrong way," added Miona.

Sindir looks up, "He burned, killed and mutilated everybody with a hysterical laughter that won't stop for hours."

Kuran looks at them, "How about you let Gnarl tell about him? After all, the fifth was his last master. None of you knew him personally. Thought I can confirm his children eating habits… we interrupted his dinner back then as I was still part of the heroes that killed him."

"But why asking all this? Are you going to revive him to scare Steadfast former army away?" Wyslith asked, thinking that the AI is making a joke, trying, like all the others, not to look disturbed by the fact that one of the rumours was true.

"You can say that." Beep answered honestly, which earns a shocked look from almost everyone in the room, "But we need to work together and rehearse a lot."

Kuran looks at Beep, "You are aware that, once word gets around that the fifth is back alive, EVERY SINGLE HERO is going to get here and try to kill him? I am still new enough to that show that they remain watching until my death can be satisfied. By the fifth, we face ARMIES within a year. If we get lucky."

"Oh… right, that will be a problem..." Beep replied. "Then again, I'm not much of a strategic A.I. The one who might help is the clan leader of the Feloians."

"And for that, you need to set up first to contact. I know," Kuran nodded and looked around, "Anything else?"

As nobody said anything, he mused: "Alright. Then there is one last thing," and clapped his two hands to which Claret and Aline came in. Gesturing to the two, Kuran stated, "These two are Meratrix. Their names are Claret and Aline. Aline will be the babysitter and bodyguard of my children. The role of an additional babysitter but also my secretary will be Claret. Gnarl will learn that from me once he returns from… whatever he is doing."

"Given the number of kids I expect you will have, having a few babysitters to help would be the smart thing," agreed Isadel with a smile. "Even if I have no clue what a Meratrix is."

"That will be explained soon. With that, I end this meeting. I will inform Unor myself on my next visit with the Taumins. Wyslith, please stay a bit. I have a few questions."

They began to leave, except for Beep and Wyslith. Looking at her, Kuran asks, "Wyslith… nobody has seen your mother for a while. Do you know anything?" And tilts his head.

"No clue, all she said was, and I quote: 'going fish for news '. She answered. "Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that mom has been vague about her trips."

"At least she told you. I had no clue," deadpans Kuran with a shake of his head, "Thank you for telling me. Now you can go too." to which the Succubus leaves. Once she is gone, Kuran looks at Beep, "So… any news about the procedure of taking the ship apart?"

"A few bumps on the road because of the minions, but the process is great!" Beep answered. "It will take a few days if we go with the current pace."

"Very well. I wait that long before I start my trip towards the Nagas." Nodded Kuran to him and started heading off, "I have now going to deal with a few people."

Overlord: Kingdoms Rise

"Sssssooooo… visssitorsss from another world." muses Ahya and rubbing her chin while she was wrapped around Isadel. The two were naked and in the Nagas' bed. The free hand stroke the hair of the dark elf, and the princess laid with her head on her chest, having it firmly comfy between her breasts. "Interesssting," and looks down on the blue-skinned girl "never thought to sssee one in my lifetime."

"You aren't surprised," answered Isadel as she looked up at Ahya, "Did the Nagas know about other worlds before?"

"Yesss." confirmed the Naga in question, "We Nagasss knew for a long time. Asssside the godsss, we are one of the few in thissss world that know about them and sssome possible waysss to visssit them"."

"Really?" asks Lehid and tilts her head, "You can build such flying ships as those Felions are supposed to use?"

To which Ahya chuckled, "No, I didn't know it wassss even posssible. Asss the skiesss, beyond the reach of even the Ssssskeith are a long time meant only for the godsss. But if mortalsss could find meansss to fly up there… or perhapsss our understanding of the ressisssdance of the gods are incorrect."

The Naga shook her head, "But to return to the topic on hand. The method we nagassss knew about involvessss the Mage Linessss." And gave a chuckle at the dark elf's confusion, "Deep below the sssurface of the world are magically charged linesssss. Like riverss they flow through the entire world. And asss every river, more might meet and some point. Those were Nexuses. Interesssting fact isss that mossst Evil and Dark Masssterssss of the Minionssss build on such Nexusssesss. If intentional, basssed on a sssort of instinct or pure chance… that I cannot tell. But also in those Nexusessss lies the ssssecret of travel other worldsss."

"Then why did we not hear bout it? Why is it a secret except for your kind?" Asks Isadel in wonder.

"That'sss easssy to explain. For moving from one world to another, you need very sssstrong Nexussssesssss. One where at leasssst five Linessss are meeting. Thossse are very rare. In fact, we only found two in our world. One issss far beyond our reach to invesssstigate, the other isss home to the temple of Ornosss."

"One of the lost gods?" Asks Isadel in surprise. Her mind instantly thought of the legend of a group of gods. Those gods were once the rulers of a different world. But that world faced its end. However, the gods of this world didn't want their creations to perish and used their might to save them and flourish in a newly created world. But due to the strain and an error the gods made. They got lost. Gone. Only their creations can carry on their legends. Even today, there are shrines and temples dedicated to them. But no one prays to them anymore… as lost gods cannot help the people of this world.

"Yesss," nodded Ahya, "But issss it that ssssurprissing? Ornosss was known as the Lost God of Travelssss and Talesss. That thossse who made the temple dilibertly choossse a Grand nexusss and built that portal. Unfortunately, the wayssss of activating thosse Portalsss are lossst in our world. Even we nagasss don't know it."

Isadel understood the implication and wondered, "When… what do we do?"

"We aid him… asss we alwaysss do," spoke the Naga simply with a smile and kissed the elves forehead "Thought… ssssome partssss need rearragementsss. Even if we learn how to open the portal. Assss long it isss in the landsss of a different kingdom, we have no accesss to it to explore a different world."

"I understand" nodded Isadel and pulled herself up with some difficulty to be on the level of Ahyas face. Rubbing her mistress scaled head, the dark elf smiles, "I am sure our Overlord will get to that. And until then… I am a good mistress to him."

"Yesss you do" hissed Ahya while looking back and using her eyes to strengthen her hold on the dark elf once more before the two shared a deep kiss.

"Well… I need to reevaluate my standing with the Overlord," thought the Naga to herself. "Using him for my original goals and then dropping him, if possible, won't work in this new light. Hmm… perhaps I can arrange something to bind him to myself~" and continued to make out with the dark elf… and went out to fully enjoy her magically controlled slave.

Overlord: Kingdom Rise

Sunkrem were sitting at the bar of her friend Saraquel and nipped on a drink and mused, "So. You can talk with me now?"

The Fallen Angel sat in front of the Succubus with her own drink and nodded, "Yeah. I got some news, but not all of them make sense."

"oh? Then what are they?" wondered the demoness with a raised eyebrow and took a sip.

"Regarding the question who tipped Steadfast off," began Saraquel and shrugged, "Not a single one of the heavenly forces did tell anything as far all my contacts could tell. Either because it isn't within their interest or due to some law. And please don't ask which one. In heaven, we got so many laws. Some even only for the sake of a group of gods or even only one single god that even the 28 Great Law Angels are having difficulty knowing all of them."

"Don't tell me," shrugged the Succubus and chuckled, "I mean, I dated one of the Lawyer angels. And that 3000 years ago… I bet their numbers have been raised by the factor of 900 by now."

"You… don't often bother with heavenly laws," laughed the angel weakly. "On the other hand, why should a demon bother?" and shrugged before shaking her head, "Nope. It's over 9000."

Sunkren blinked, placed down her drink and leaned forward, "Are… are you serious? I know many of you guys love to keep as much as possible tidy, even if it is difficult with the number of dark, evil or destructive gods up there."

"Hey. I tried to point out the difficulties in the past. You see what happened to me 4000 years ago." stated the angel with a shrug. Leaning back, she added, "Anyway, as I said: None of the heavenly forces did tip Orlox off. It must be the hellish ones."

Rubbing her chin, Sunkren looks at her friend, "Hmm… but how did Orlox know? He has a broad network, no doubt, but there is no way he could have known by his ways of dealing. Not in the time frame to use the civil war, that is perfect for the payback of tricking Mephil. So, who was it then…?"

Then she looked up at the angel, "And the other news?"

To which she grinned, "Let's say… an old friend is awake again~" smirks Seraquel. Suddenly Sunkren had a shiver on her back, "By the Abyss. That would be useful." and nodded to her.
