Hey guys! I know I haven't been focusing on this story as much as I do with my other one and I'm sorry for that. I do want to finish this story and I'm happy you're all still enjoying it. Also I recently watched War for Cybertron on Netflix (loved it!) and am thinking I might write a story set up in that show. But still thinking on it, so it won't be for a while. I'll probably end up waiting for chapter 2 and 3 to come out on Netflix before I start typing it.
Anyway, here is chapter 26! Enjoy!

(Jacy's POV)
(Autobot Base)
"What do you mean you saw the Headmaster?!" I exclaim.
All of us sitting in the main area, Optimus had just finished explaining to me, Sumdac, Sari, and Kylie what he and the others saw yesterday.
"Powell and Masterson plan to use it against the decepticons," Optimus says, "and if it goes well, they plan to produce more at Sumdac Systems to sell off to the military."
"What?!" Sumdac exclaims furiously, "I won't let this happen! I'm going over to Powell and putting an end to this!"
"Professor Sumdac, you can't," Optimus said, "if Megatron still needs you for his space bridge, you have to stay here for your own safety."
"Optimus, I am not going to sit here and watch Powell turn my company into a weapons factory. I have to shut this down."
"Even if you do shut it down, that won't stop Masterson from using the Headmaster," I say, "he won't just use it on the cons, but on us."
"I understand your concern, Jacy," Optimus says, "but its not like we can just confiscate it. He hasn't done anything wrong."
"Yet," I throw at him.
"Oh come on, Jacy," Kylie says, "how bad can it be?"
"It's a machine that can remove a bot's head and replace it, allowing the person inside to control the bot's body."
Kylie's expression immediately changes to a grim look. "...I say we destroy it."
"I'm in!" Bumblebee agrees.
"Me too!" Sari joins in.
"No one is destroying anything!" Optimus says sternly before looking back at the professor, "look, Professor, you can contact Powell from here on the comm unit. It's secure enough for you to use it."
Sumdac gets up and makes his way over to the large computer with Optimus. As he makes the call, I start thinking the worse as I grip the oil can in my servo. I remember Masterson using the Headmaster unit on Bulkhead and then tried to destroy the city. And if Sumdac is planning on firing both Powell and Masterson, then that will most likely trigger Masterson like it did in the series. What the heck are we going to do?! And what's worse is I'm still fretting about the whole Airstrike thing! Not only is she from the same universe as us, but she's after the bots! But why?!
"Um, Jacy? Are you okay?" Sari asks.
"Fine," I lie, "I'm fine. What makes you think I'm not?"
Crunch!
I look at the can in my servo, completely crushed with oil splattered all over me.
"That," Prowl says, using his thumb to wipe away the oil that landed on his cheek.
Bulkhead grabs a rag laying off to the side and hands it to me. "Here."
I let out a vent. "Thanks," I say as I take it and begin cleaning myself off.
It's not long until Sumdac and Optimus come back, not looking too happy.
"How'd it go?" Kylie asks.
"I didn't even speak to him," Sumdac says, "he made sure no one was to disturb him. Not even me! I own the company!"
Optimus vents. "Then I guess we will have to take you straight to him."
"But how can we get him there without the cons noticing him?" Bulkhead asks.
Sari grins. "Leave that to me."
(Time skip)
I vent as Optimus, Kylie, and I drive off towards the testing range with Sumdac inside the firetruck, wearing a gray coat, a matching hat, and a pair of shades. I wouldn't say its a good disguise. Because it isn't. Seriously, it's just as bad as Superman disguising himself with a pair of glasses. Where did Sari even find a coat, hat, and shades?
Anyway, as we drive, I keep dreading about what the Headmaster did in the series. And the thought of Airstrike still out there somewhere doesn't help either. Who knows what she's planning next. My head is so clouded with thoughts I can't think straight.
"Jacy, stop!" Kylie shouts from behind me.
I snap out of my thoughts and slam on the brakes just before I can get hit by a bus honking it's horn at me. Watching it drive away, I let out a shaky vent as my spark pounds loudly inside of me.
Seeing what happened behind him, Optimus immediately turns around and drives back towards us. "You alright?!" he asks me.
"Yeah," I say, trying to sound calm, "I just wasn't paying attention. I'm okay."
He lets out a vent. "Please be more careful."
"Yeah, no prob."
He turns back around as we follow behind him. After a while, Kylie pulls up beside me. "Jacy, you need to relax."
"I'm relaxed," I lie, "I'm totally relaxed. I'm more relaxed than… anything that's totally relaxed."
"Jacy, I get that you're worried about this head guy going bad and that you're still on edge about the whole Airstrike thing, but this is really-"
"Oh look we're here!" I say, changing the subject soon as I see the testing range up ahead.
Driving into the area, we see war bots and targets set up in the field. We then see Powell and Masterson. And the Headmaster Unit. But they're not the only ones here. As we get closer, I see the mayor and his secretary, along with Fanzone. We soon gain their attention as we approach.
"Hey, it's that guy from when Lugnut attacked us," Kylie says, recognizing Fanzone, "you think he's still mad at us for wrecking the park?"
"He's not smiling at us, that's for sure," I say, seeing a frown on his face as we come to a halt.
Soon as Sumdac hops out of the firetruck, he angrily marches straight over to Powell as Optimus, Kylie, and I transform.
"Powell!" the professor says furiously.
The grey haired man only smiles at him. "Professor Sumdac," he greets, "I almost didn't recognize you in that getup. I was so relieved to find out you were alright."
Masterson approaches Sumdac and grins. "Dude, I am a huge fan! You're the guy who started the whole robot revolution thing. I grew up tinkering with your bots."
Sumdac gave him a slight look before frowning at Powell. "Powell, shut this down right now!"
"I would," Powell says, "however, I'm having a meeting with the mayor and Captain Fanzone right now. With the decepticons still out roaming around, we need to ensure the safety of our citizens, which is why I am showing a little demonstration on our latest project." He then looks up at me and Kylie. "And I see you brought your new team members, Optimus Prime. How nice." He looks at the others as he gestures towards me. "This right here is an example of what a typical decepticon looks like. Though she is smaller in comparison, decepticons are made for destruction and war. And with the ability to fly, they are without a doubt a threat to everyone whether on ground, or in the sky."
I frown at him using me as an example. I didn't like him in the show, and I certainly don't like him now.
Masterson steps towards the others. "But, if the Headmaster Unit were to gain control over one of those deceptilamers, then the person inside would have it's strength and its weaponry, giving them the advantage they need to fight off the enemy with one of their own."
"Not if they try and fight Megatron with it," I say.
Masterson looks up at me and laughs. "Trust me, Babe. This baby can take control over any bot. That includes Meganoob."
My frown deepens. "Okay, first off, don't call me babe," I say, "second, Megatron is no joke. You try and attack him with that thing and it will end badly. Very badly."
"Ha! We'll see about that," the purple haired human says with a cocky grin.
Sumdac looks back at the gray haired man and frowns, "Powell, this operation of yours is over!"
"Actually Professor Sumdac," the mayor's secretary says, taking a step forward, "the mayor is very much intrigued by Mr. Powell's idea."
"What?!" Sumdac and I exclaim. They're actually siding with Powell and Masterson?!
"I still don't like it," Fanzone says, looking at the others, "I mean, replacing the autobots with another machine? It's bad enough I have to deal with security bots glitching around me."
"Yes, the Headmaster Unit is another machine, Captain Fanzone. But can we really keep relying on the autobots to fight off the decepticons for us? I mean, if they're suppose to be the heroes of Detroit, why are they causing more destruction by stopping the enemy? Isn't it time we take matters into our own hands for everyone's safety?"
Fanzone doesn't say anything as he sighs.
Powell looks at Sumdac. "See? Do you really want to shut this down professor, and go against the safety and concern of our city?"
My frown returns. Powell knew Sumdac would try and stop them. That's why he got the mayor and Fanzone on board with their project. Scrap!
"We still have to see a demonstration before we can decide on anything, Mr. Powell," the secretary says.
"Of course," Powell says before looking at Masterson. "Professor Masterson, will you be so kind to show our guests what the Headmaster Unit can do?"
"Watch and learn!" Masterson says as he takes off his lab coat, revealing his Headmaster suit before putting on his large helmet.
"Interesting fashion choice," Kylie says.
"I thought the Headmaster Unit was too heavy for those warbots during your demonstration yesterday," Optimus says.
"Yes, well, those warbots were not a strong example," Powell says, "but, with the help of our supplier, we were provided a better model for today's demonstration."
We look over at the war bot he's gesturing at. This one is definitely bigger and more sturdier than the other ones. It looks like it could be the same height as me. If not, taller. Soon as Masterson gets into the Headmaster unit, we watch as it flies up and decapitates the war bot. I don't know if its because I'm a bot now, but I feel very uncomfortable watching this. I notice even Optimus has the same look as I do on his face, and he's already seen this. Both Kylie and I watch as Masterson does his demonstration. Watching the Headmaster Unit using the bot's body to destroy the targets, I dread it even more.
As the others talk it over, I look over to see Kylie looking at one of the smaller war bots off to the side.
"What the heck does this thing even do?" she asks out loud as she taps her digit on it.
Getting anxious at what she was doing, I rush over to her. "Don't touch that!" I quietly exclaim.
"Oh come on, it's turned off. It can't do anything." She makes her way behind the bot and sees what's strapped to it. "Cool! This thing has its own jet pack?" she says as she reaches up to touch it.
"Kylie, that's a missile."
"Agh!" she shrieks as she fearfully jumps back. Though as she does this, she bumps into the war bot behind her, causing it to fall sideways and into the others like they were dominoes.
"Ah!" I yelp as we rush over to the other end and catch the last one in time, keeping the others from falling as well. Ever so gently, we push them back upright. Soon as they remain still, we both let out a vent of relief and relax.
"Phew! That was close," Kylie says as she pats the bot.
I don't know how. I honestly don't know how. But soon as she does this, the missile attached to it activates. Kylie and I fearfully jump back before it fires off the war bot and upwards into the sky like a bullet.
"… Oops!" Kylie says nervously.
"What did you two do?!" Fanzone shouts as he and everyone else looks up at the sky in alarm.
Not wanting the missile to cause damage, I activate my thrusters before taking off into the sky.
"Jacy, wait!" Optimus shouts at me.
I don't listen as I follow after the missile. By the time the others show up, it could be too late. I have to stop it. And fast!
"So what's the plan?!"
Optics wide, I look at my leg to see Kylie hanging on for dear life. "Wh- Kylie what are you doing?!"
"I thought I could help!" she shouts.
"How?! You know what, never mind just hold on!" I go faster as I see the missile starting to descend down towards the city. Scrap! Stopping midair far away enough, I activate my mod and fire a blast. My blast works as it hits the target, causing the missile to explode on impact.
"Yes!" Kylie cheers.
However, the victory only lasts for a second as the force of the blast heads straight for us. The next thing I know, I am knocked back, causing me to lose my balance.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" We scream as we flip around in the air. I see both land and water getting closer. Grabbing Kylie, I try to straighten myself out and regain control. Though soon as I do, I am too late as I look up to see the ground closing in fast.
My optics widen in horror. "Slag!" I shout as I shield both me and Kylie.
Boom! Crash! Crunch!
Ow.
I remember hitting a bunch of things before tumbling and skidding into the ground. My entire body hurts and my head is ringing. After laying on the ground for a few seconds, I finally sit up as I let out a groan. I look around, seeing broken trees, crushed rocks, and a deep torn up trail caused by my crash landing.
I frantically look around. "Kylie?!"
"I'm alive!" I hear, making me look over to see her walking out of a bush covered in broken branches and leaves. Seeing she's alright, I vent in relief as she approaches me, trying to clean herself off. "You know, just once a nice gentle landing would be nice. Just saying."
"Tell that to the force that just knocked us out of the sky," I say, holding my helm.
"Hey, at least we stopped the missile. We saved the city."
I frown at her. "You do know that missile firing was your fault, right?"
"Hey, in my defense, there were way too many of those war machines in the area. And how was I suppose to know one of them would go off?"
"I told you not to touch!" I snap at her.
"... Live and learn?"
That makes me angry. "That is not an excuse Kylie! You could have killed a lot of people!"
"Okay, okay," she says, looking guilty, "you're right, I shouldn't have touched it. I'm sorry."
My anger slowly leaving, I vent. "Well, the missile's gone, so crisis averted." I get up, only to let out a painful yelp. Lifting my left pede up, I see that my thruster is badly damaged as sparks fly off of it. I must have damaged it during the crash. "Great," I grumble.
"Ooh, that looks bad," Kylie says, looking at my injury, "can you still fly?"
I try to activate my other thruster. It works fine, but as I get myself into the air, I end up flailing around and losing my balance. Turning off my thruster, I let out a shriek as I fall and land on my butt. "Ow!"
"So, no flying?" Kylie asks.
"No flying," I confirm, trying to get back up, "Can't walk. Can't fly."
"Okay, no prob," she says, "we can drive back."
We turn around, only to see the lake between us and the city. It's not long for us to realize we're on an island.
"Or we can swim back," Kylie says.
"That blast sent us further than I thought. We could still probably drive across the bottom of the lake. Let's just call the bots and..." I stop midsentence as an annoyed expression makes its way on my face.
"What?" Kylie asks.
"The bots still haven't taught us how to use our commlinks," I say as I face palm myself, "we've been here for how long now and we still don't know how our stink'n commlinks work?!" I let out a frustrated vent. "Terrific. The Headmaster is most likely getting a green light, we nearly destroyed the city, I just learned how to fly only to get grounded, and we still don't know how to contact the bots. Can this day get any worse?"
Just then we hear the sound of heavy footsteps approaching from behind. Nervously, we turn around to see three large figures stepping out from the trees. To my horror, I see a metal t-rex, triceratops, and pterodactyl. Slag! I was so stressed out that I didn't even stop to think of where we are!
We're on Dinobot island!
Kylie stares in shock at the three large dinobots. "This place has it's own version of Jurassic Park?! Nice!"
The dinobots just stand there, all three glaring at us.
"Uh, Jacy?" Kylie says nervously as we take a step back, "they have autobot decals on them. That means they're friendly, right?"
I don't even have to answer as Grimlock speaks with a loud voice.
"Intruders! Dinobots destroy!"
Uh oh! This just isn't Jacy's day. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and hopefully I will update again soon. Until next time! God bless!
