From my 2024 Fluffbruary collection
It was a warm spring day, and after a relaxing breakfast, Hetty went for a walk in the back yard.
She loved how it looked in the spring. The freshly cut grass, the blooming flowers, her reflection in the clear water of the swimming pool, it felt like a little slice of heaven.
And then she saw a corner of the back yard that hadn't been mowed and the weeds unpicked.
'Owen! Didn't I tell you to mow the corners yesterday?!' She shouted.
'I was, but the mower ran out of gas, and it took a while to get from here to the hardware store and I was too tired to finish the job!' Owen shouted back.
'Sigh. Lazy man!' Hetty muttered. Then she went to get the mower to take care of the problem.
So much for a fully relaxing day. Eh well, it was fine while it lasted, as they say.
