Chapter 11
Discussions and Reactions
Izuku and Uraraka took Elisa into the bedroom to explain last night's events. And as they expected, Elisa was shocked to learn what transpired.
But knowing that both were safe now was what mattered. She would talk with Goliath about this. But for now, Elisa composed herself as she left the bedroom with the two teens and met their friends.
"Elisa, I'd like you to meet our friends Eijiro Kirishima and Mei Hatsume. Guys, this is Elisa Maza, our guardian and host,"
"It's nice to meet you both. Izuku and Uraraka told me how you helped save them last night. And I'd like to repay that by letting you stay here," Elisa told the two teens, who were surprised to hear this so soon but accepted by standing up.
"Thank you, Miss Maza. We appreciate this," Kirishima said first.
"Yeah, and sorry for the sudden arrival. We hope it won't be a problem," Mei added next.
"Of course not. I always try to help those in need. And I had planned to look for a bigger place to live, given that this one is only meant for one. But we can talk about that later. Right now, I need something to eat," Elisa told them gently, then went into the kitchen before joining the four at the table.

"This is most unexpected to hear," A voice said from behind a desk, where the head of U.A. looked at Aizawa and All Might.
Unlike the two humans before him, Principal Nezu was a stout humanoid creature with white fur and black eyes. On his face was a large scar that went over his right eye. Nezu wore a black waistcoat and matching pants, a white dress shirt with a dark red tie, and orange-colored sneakers.
"I had hoped the new year would go well for us. But it seems to be going the other way," Nezu stated with a concerned look.
"We felt the same, sir. Hopefully, the police will find something about our two students," All Might responded next.
"I hope so too, but until then, all we can do is wait," Nezu said as he put his paws together. "Have the other teachers been told about this yet?" he asked next.
"Not yet, we decided to tell you first. Given that the others are busy with their duties," Aizawa replied, to which Nezu understood.
"I'll see to it that they are informed immediately," the two men heard Nezu say. They nodded to him and then left the office.
True to his word, Nezu got the other teachers together. They were brought up to speed on the situation, which led to the same questions being asked again, but the answers remained the same as before. This remained the case until one week later.

Walking through the hallways, one of the teachers and Pro Hero: Power Loader was heading to the Support Courses lab. As he turned the corner, the man saw one of his students, Mei Hatsume, carrying a duffle bag with her.
"Probably more inventions of hers to show me. Hopefully, one of these won't blow up the lab today," Power Loader thought as he prepared for Mei to tell him what she made.
But this never happened as a bright flash of light blinded the man briefly. "What the hell, Hatsume, if this is one of your devices doing? You're in big...huh?" the teacher said aloud. But saw that once the light had faded, there was no sign of Hatsume anywhere.
Looking around, Power Loader saw she hadn't entered the lab or backtracked down the hall, which led him to worry about what had happened.
Heading to the security room, Power Loader checked the cameras to see if they saw what had happened. And like he had seen one moment, Hatsume was there, and the next thing, she was gone.
After examining the footage several more times, the pro hero made a copy and then grabbed the DVD of the recording. Next, he went to Principal Nezu's office.
However, when he got there, Power Loader found Nezu speaking with Aizawa, who was talking about a phone call he had received from Fat Gum minutes earlier.
"(Sigh) This is most unsettling to hear! Another student of ours has gone missing, this time in the field while under the care of a Pro Hero!" Nezu stated as he sighed in despair.
"Fat Gum feels the same as you do, sir. He and those at his agency are searching for Kirishima and will inform us when something comes up," Aizawa told his boss calmly.
"I'm sure they will...hmm, oh, Power Loader, is something wrong?" The principal wondered as he saw the man standing there, to which Aizawa did as well.
"There is, sir, but you two aren't going to like it," The man said first, then told them what happened, making their expressions sour after hearing about Hatsume's disappearance. However, learning that Power Loader had seen it happen in person. And had the footage of it with him, lightened the mood of the room.
"Aizawa, contact Detective Tsukauchi and inform him of this new development. Then you and Power Loader head to the police station and give him the DVD. And don't you worry about your classes. I'll get two other teachers to cover them," Nezu told the two men, who nodded at this before leaving.
Once alone, Nezu took a sip of tea to calm himself down and thought carefully about these events.
"It can't be a coincidence that four students vanish without a trace. Something is happening, and we must find out what it is!"
However, Nezu was one of many to notice the absence of the students, as their friends saw this as well.

It started with Shoto Todoroki, who had been told that Izuku was sick at this time. The young man knew this was a lie, given that this came from his father, of all people. His father was many things, but a good liar wasn't one of them. This led Shoto to call his classmate and friend Tenya Iida to see if he knew anything.
"I'm sorry, Todoroki, but I haven't heard from Midoriya since I last saw him. And from what I saw, he looked fine. It's strange to hear he would catch a cold like that," Iida told Shoto over the phone.
"I agree. I think something is going on, but my father won't say what it is," Shoto replied.
"And what does Bakugo think of this?" he heard Iida say next, which caused the young man to sigh.
"He thinks Midoriya is chicken for not coming to train with the number one hero. And thinks his being sick is just a lame excuse,"
"That's...not surprising to hear!" Iida stated. He expected his classmate to say this, so he changed the subject.
"Todoroki, have you heard anything from Uraraka?
This surprised Shoto; despite being in the same class, he rarely talked with her, which made him wonder why Iida asked this.
"I tried calling her to see if she might know something about Midoriya. But she hasn't responded to any of my calls. I've asked our other classmates to see if they heard from her. Sadly, none of them had any luck on that front." Shoto heard Iida explain, and then, after a few moments, he replied to this.
"Sorry, Iida, I haven't heard anything either. Though, strangely, two of our classmates haven't been heard from,"
"Hmm, I agree it is odd. But until we hear something, all we can do is hope they are both okay," Iida stated next, to which Shoto agreed with him and said he would Iida if something came up. Then he hung up the phone and went to do some training in the gym.

After finishing breakfast, Izuku and Uraraka took Kirishima and Mei to the library while Elisa slept. She advised them to be careful after last night's events, which they had promised as they got ready before leaving.
Because they did not have any spare clothes, Kirishima and Mei had to borrow some from their friends. Kirishima wore a white shirt with a black vest and blue jeans. As for Mei, she wore a red shirt with gray pants. Izuku wore a black T-shirt with a popular dinosaur movie logo and tan pants. Uraraka was dressed in a white shirt and blue overall jeans.
Once outside, the four headed for the bus stop and waited for the next one, which came along shortly.
During the trip, the newcomers looked out the windows and saw some of the city's landmarks. They were amazed, as the two had seen these in history books at school.
Once the small group arrived at the library, Izuku and Uraraka showed their friends around. The two then found their usual spot and began to study for the test.
While they did this, Kirishima and Mei found books of their own to read, with the red-headed teen checking out fitness books on workout routines, exercise, and combat books.
As for Mei, she was writing down and sketching ideas for new inventions to build in her notebook. Trying to figure out how to contact the U.A. seemed impossible as they were over 200 years in the past.
However, Mei saw this as a challenge that she would figure out how to solve.
After spending three hours inside, the group decided to stop and go outside to Bryant Park, which was located next door. There, they enjoyed some time in the fresh air and took a few pictures on their cell phones without anyone seeing or asking about them.
Following this, the four went to get some lunch and then headed home. As they walked through the area, the teens saw some stores were getting things ready as they stocked up on candy and various costumes.
Seeing this made Izuku mentally slap himself. "Oh, I forgot Halloween's coming up at the end of the month!" He told the others, who were excited to hear this.
"Oh yeah! Man, it's weird that a holiday we already celebrated is happening again!" Kirishima noted that he saw some of the costumes in the store display.
"Hmm, this is true. But still, it's cool to know we can dress up again," added Uraraka, who was already thinking about her costume, as were the others.
(Castle Wyvern)
Unbeknownst to the teens, after they left earlier, Elisa had, in fact, made her way to the Eyrie Building, where she told the receptionist that she needed to speak with Owen Burnett.
After being told that said man was busy then, Elisa was told to wait until he was free. As she did so, the detective tried to keep her calm as she was already thinking of what to say to Mr. Burnett.
Twenty minutes later, the receptionist told Elisa he would see her after she got in the elevator and took it to the top floor. Elisa entered Owen's office, where he was waiting.
"Ah, Detective Maza, good to see you again," Owen said calmly.
"I normally would say the same, but after learning about what happened last night. I'm not in a good mood right now!" She told in a bitter tone as her eyes narrowed at him.
Owen noticed this but kept his calm as he responded.
"I'm sure those late shifts you officers take is a hard one,"
"Oh, don't act so coy! I know about the Steelclan robot's attack at the warehouse!" Elisa stated back as she raised her voice.
"If you are referring to the demolition of the old warehouse, it was due to some faulty work the work crews put in during the day shift. I called City Hall and explained the situation to the mayor, who said those responsible would be held accountable. And a new one will be built in its place," she heard Owen say in a calm and calculating way.
"Now, as for your claims about the Steelclan, I'm afraid those were all destroyed weeks ago by your friends. So unless you have proof of this, I'm afraid there's nothing left for us/" (SLAM)
Owen was stopped when Elisa placed the severed robot's arm on the table.
"You were saying, Mr. Burnett," She responded with a severe look.
Seeing this, Owen kept a neutral face as he heard Elisa speak again.
"Now listen here 'cause I'm only going to say this once. If you or your boss ever do anything to hurt those under my care. I will bring my full weight and that of my friends down upon you both! I'm I clear!"
The silence followed as Owen said nothing for a bit and then spoke.
"I shall inform Mr. Xanatos of this," He first said, which made Elisa glad to hear this as she grabbed the arm and was about to leave. When she the man speak again.
"But keep this in mind, Detective Maza, and we never intended to harm those living with you. Mr. Xanatos wanted to see what they could do, and they passed the test,"
Those last words made Elisa worry. She was now concerned for Izuku and Uraraka's safety, which she would need to talk with Goliath about tonight.
And she planned to but for now. All she could do now was return home.
