Chapter 5: Stormy Stronghold

When the group returned to the ruins, they started to help Flynn attach the golden propeller to his balloon. When they finally finished attaching the propeller, they set out for Stormy Stronghold.

"Wowzer's, now that's a twister, and it's ripping that castle to pieces, Looks like the little drow-dudes found the eternal air thingy and now their trying to harness it's power," said Flynn as he brought the balloon down. Then, the kids stumbled out of the balloon as they saw that the eternal air source was able to create this. "We have to rebuild the bridge to the castle," said Jessie. "Right," said everyone in unison.

As they made their way to the castle, they noticed a giant spark pylon that was emitting an electrical beam as they lowered the pylon bits of the bridge and were being rebuilt. When they found and shut down all of the pylons, the bridge was finally rebuilt as they continued to the top when they saw another soul gem with the symbol for air on it. "It's all for you, Jessie," said Max. When Jessie touched the soul gem, she felt a surge of power. "Warnado," yelled Jessie as a turtle-like creature appeared from a portal made of clouds. When they made their way top of the tower, they saw the eternal air source. Just then, enemies surrounded the kids, "It's a trap," yelled Lisa.

Once the enemies were defeated, Jessie grabbed the eternal air source and then she and the others just passed out. When the kids came to they noticed Jessie had changed. "Woah, check out Jessie," said Riley. As everyone turned to see that Jessie was now wearing a traditional portal master garb with the air element symbol on it and she was holding a staff in her hands. "Wow, what just happened to me," said Jessie. "We'll worry about that later, let's get out of here," said Lisa.

When the group returned to the ruins, the eternal air source integrated itself into the core, and by doing that, it has summoned Eon's spirit back to the ruins.

Meanwhile, in another part of skylands. "What," said a diminutive man wearing a black cloak as he fell off the portal he was standing on. "Oh, look, Lord Kaos, they found the eternal air source," said a troll. "I can see they found the eternal air source. you fool but look who's there, Eon, but, how can this be I blew him up, kaboom, splat, dead, but look at him," said Kaos as the troll lifted him back onto the portal. "Well, at least he doesn't have his body," commented the troll. "Exactly, obviously someone is helping them but who," said Kaos. "Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but there could be other portal masters, their probably trying to rebuild the core of light," said the troll. "What," said Kaos, who had fallen off the portal again. "We can't let them do that. Find the other eternal sources, I don't care where they are, just get them," said Kaos as he walked away.
