Previously on Super Mario Bros Z: The Mario bros were introduced to Sonic the hedgehog and his three friends Miles prower also known as Tails, Aura the tiger and Shadow the hedgehog and are informed of the Seven Chaos Emeralds seven gemstones able to give the user unlimited power with no time to waste they began their search but not long after their friend Yoshi found one of the emeralds it is then lost to a sinister mechanical villain who bears an uncanny resemble to Sonic now Mario and company rush to get Yoshi a doctor meanwhile in the Darklands Bowser teams up with a scientist known as Doctor Eggman as they perform an alliance to find more of these Chaos emeralds to get an upper hand on the Mario Bros and so the story continues with the origins of Sonic the hedgehog stepping into the light!
Toad Town- Mushroom Kingdom hospital
After the discovery of a mysterious foe that Sonic, Tails, Shadow and Aura know from their world had also followed them to this world Mario took Yoshi to the hospital.
Sonic whistles acting very impressed "Okay I knew you were a plumber, a constructor builder and a hero, but I had no idea you were a doctor as well!"
Tails then said as he landed on the ground "So how's Yoshi anyway? Will he be alright?"
Mario nodded as he took off his doctor gear saying "He will be fine."
Sonic sighed in relief "Whew. That's good to know. It's a good thing we got to him in time. Guess all we need to worry about now is finding the rest of those Chaos Emeralds."
Yoshi wakes up to which Peach is relieved in her nurse outfit and called out to Mario.
"Mario! Come here quickly! Yoshi's finally starting to wake up!"
Mario, Luigi, Tails and Sonic head into the room. Peach smiled and said "I'm happy to see you awake, Yoshi. So how do you feel?"
Yoshi hops up out of the bed showing he was alright, but quickly falls down due to some of his injuries not fully healed up.
Peach then said as she was patching an open on Yoshi "No, Yoshi! Save your strength! You haven't fully recovered yet."
Sonic walks over to the bannister that leads outside. Tails came up behind as he looked at his best friend with a look of regret.
Sonic then said "What was I thinking, Tails? I should've told them about Metallix earlier. I was so confident we could find the Chaos Emeralds before that mechanical bolt bag did, then use their power to defeat him. But instead I put another innocent life in danger."
Tails shook his head and said while placing a hand on Sonic's shoulder "I think you better tell them everything, Sonic."
Mario and Luigi walk over to Sonic and Tails as the blue hedgehog was ready to tell his story.
"I'm really REALLY sorry for deceiving you like this, Mario. But I think now is a good time to tell you the full story. As I told you back at the castle, me, Aura, Shadow, and Tails are from another dimension."
Mobius a while ago
"I'm from a place called Mobius and it was an amazing place you guys would have loved it…"
Sonic's voice narrated as the environment around him changed to fit the scene.
"My home dimension was a wonderful place called Mobius. It was a lush green and peaceful place with wonderful hills and public access to loop de loops. It was amazing. Most of the time, I would chill under a shady tree or just hang out with my friends. It was a very carefree lifestyle. Carefree that is, until that peace becomes threatened by someone named Dr. Eggman, an overlander who dealt with his midlife crisis in a very strange way."
Sonic is chilling in Green Hill zone with his friends who are Aura, Amy rose, Tails, Knuckles, Cream the rabbit sleeping on Blaze the cat's lap who smiled as she pats the young rabbits head, Mira the badger watering a plant next to Riley who was playing a song for the squirrel mobian with his guitar along with two Pronghorn sisters playing some card games together with smiles on their faces.
As the next scene shows Dr. Eggman alongside Verma the Shrew, a fan girl who saved her life when her home was invaded and her family killed by bandits and thieves Eggman adopted the Shrew into his army and Dr. Starline, a fanboy of Eggman who recently joined the Eggman empire as the three were laughing maniacally onboard the Death Egg.
"His base of operations was within a huge floating fortress that orbited the planet like something from Star Wars. It went by the name of the Death Egg where he would always 'hatched' many of his many schemes to turn the inhabitants into his robotic slaves by placing us into machines or robotising us and rule over in his Empire alongside his minions…"
Sonic grins as he is easily battling Eggman as he is dodging every incoming attack and unleashes a powerful spin dash destroying the mech as Eggman is covered in soot as Sonic does a victory pose after defeating the mad man.
"I then took it upon myself to thwart his evil plans time and time again. Frustrated by the amount of defeats at my hands and at my friends the Freedom fighters, Eggman then took a different approach. He then started sending robotic versions of myself, hoping he could outsmart me but however none of them could ever be my equal."
Eggman is in his lab building robots. The first of their line was Silver Sonic, a bulky armoured silver robot with red eyes. Silver Sonic is at least three times as tall as an average being; another was Mecha Sonic on Angel island as Sonic was fighting the robot alongside Knuckles.
"But however there was one robot who stood out from the rest…"
Eggman created a robot that almost looks like Sonic the hedgehog only this robot was built out of blue metal. The robot has a yellow circular depression in his chest with a black centre, mirroring the peach skin on Sonic's chest. His head has metal fins resembling Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears." The robot has a muzzle, shoulder plates, upper arms, legs, and fingers made out of silvery metal. His palms are black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and lower legs are blue metal like his head and torso, and he has red feet with white stripes as it's red eyes ignited as the eyes glow as Eggman gains a grin on his finest work yet to date to even go head to head with Sonic.
"And he was called Metal Sonic!" Sonic had flashbacks of battling Metal Sonic throughout his life from the time he met Metal Sonic on Freedom Planet to rescue Amy Rose then battled the robot who had transformed into a gigantic monster called Neo metal overlord in his super form alongside Tails and Knuckles.
"No matter how many times I beat Metal he always comes back stronger than before but I always hold my own against the robot either alone or with my team…"
The scene fades to black after the memories are shown as Metal Sonic sneaks into a room as Sonic's voice narrated what happened
"But however it would soon change after suffering so much losses against me he finally SNAPPED!"
"Metal somehow managed to enter Egg-man's secret lab on the Death Egg undetected and merged with his counterparts creating one unstoppable robot!"
Metal sees his predecessor models and began to do some work once Metal stopped typing into the computers and entered the centre of the room as the robot raised his hands into air as his eyes were glowing suddenly the other robots eyes started to glow as well just then electricity filled the room as the robots merged into Metal as his form was changing.
Once the transformation was complete Metal saw himself in a mirror as he saw his quills were now sharp and had silver tips, and his red eyes had silver highlights surrounding them. He had a sleeker frame, had a tall, bulky, build adorned blue armour with silver lining, and had blue and white shoulder guards and wrist gauntlets.
The robot said as he started chuckling to himself "Yes! YES!" The robot laughed maniacally as the robot felt power coursing through his very body Sonic's voice narrated..
"He was no longer known to the world as Metal Sonic but something far worse Metallix!" Just then someone enters the room as the voice shouted
"What is the meaning of this Metal Sonic?!"
Metallix looked at Verma who pointed at the robot in anger as Sonic narrated
"Verma saw what Eggman's own creation had done and ordered that the robot shutdown immediately for this sudden betrayal!"
But however instead following the order Metallix turned his left hand into a gun and shot lethal rounds into the shrews body as she screamed in pain as the weak Mobian dropped dead in front of the room as Metallix started using his power to destroy the Death Egg as it was falling to its doom.
"Metallix thought it was time for a change of management and to be his own boss no longer to be Eggman's little puppet Metallix killed Verma in cold merciless blood as he sent the death egg to its doom causing Egg-man and all those in the Death Egg all dead. I was there when it happened, we all were!"
Sonic and his friends saw the Death egg crash as it created a massive explosion as the peaceful world became a bleak black.
"We all thought our troubles finally were over and the age of peace would finally come around but however I was wrong Metallix survived from the death egg crash looking upon the carnage that his actions had inflicted. This sight triggered something within him, A lust for power and a thirst for destruction. But although his transformation made him stronger, he wasn't invincible. He needed the seven Chaos Emeralds in order to become complete. So he used the opportunity to search for them, as well as attack innocent people and nothing was going to stop him from achieving his goal!"
Metallix was on top of a cliff as his eyes glowed menacingly as Sonic's voice narrated
"He started off his rampage with my best friend Tails but luckily my little bro was smart enough to play dead!"
Metallix flew away from Tails's workshop which was now in ruins as Tails opened his eyes to see his foe leave.
"Next up he killed Sally Acorn, the leader of the Freedom fighters and my good friend!" Metallix is standing on a handheld device which was destroyed by the robot while choking the life out of Sally.
"Following it up he took out Bunnie, Ant and Rotor without a single scratch on him!" The sinister robot double held two chaos emeralds in his hands in the background were bodies of Bunnie, Antoine and Rotor all dead.
"Heck not even Amy rose or Knuckles the echidna weren't strong enough to stop him!" Metallix then shoots the pink hedgehog and the last echidna who had smashed into a wall looking badly hurt as the sinister robot hedgehog slaughters them off screen.
Sonic then looks at Aura who had a sad look as she held a strong grip on the sword she seemed to be carrying as Sonic continued narrating…
"He then went after Aura's teammates Riley Mason, an overlander friend and Miracle the badger she likes to be called Mira though…"
Aura was running across Green Hill to find her teammates through this destruction and she saw them battling Metallix who was using Sally's data on them as he stabbed Mira in the heart and blasted her back with a powerful attack.
And then was dodging the attacks of Team Mystic's leader as Riley slashed downwards on the machine in anger for what the machine did to his teammate but the robot caught the blade just then.
Riley then gasped as his eyes glowed blue as Heretic light was showing him the future his sword had the special ability to show events that would happen next Riley's eyes return to normal as he drops his weapon which allowed his foe to deliver his killing blow with a powerful though Riley's chest but Riley closed his eyes accepting it.
Metallix satisfied of what he did collected the yellow chaos emerald flew off as Aura went over to her weak friends as they talking to each with no dialogue being heard as Riley was giving Heretic Light to Aura and Mira was giving her whip to her best friend as Riley smiled to his little sister figure as he was embracing his death as Mira followed after as Aura screamed into the sky as her dearest friends were dead as tears came down her eyes.
"And finally he went for Clove & Cassia the Pronghorn along with Blaze the cat, a princess who was from another dimension battled the robot to keep Cream safe…"
Clove and Cassia are seen beaten to a bloody pulp as Clove's energy scythe was broken in two by the evil robot while Blaze was a bit worn out as the sinister robot had an amused look as he prepared to finish her off as she dropped dead off screen as Sonic's voice said as the scene faded to black.
"They all never stood against a chance…"
The scene fades back in as the world was now burning and everything was on fire.
"Within just a few short hours, more than half of Mobius was reduced to nothing but a burning wasteland. The inhabitants regardless if they were Overlander or Mobian were all wiped out, and six of the seven Chaos Emeralds were now in Metallix's claws! With nowhere left to run I had no choice but to comfort him…"
Sonic had a strong grip on the final chaos emerald as Sonic and Metallix battled through the burning world at light speed as Metallix was using all of the freedom fighters data alongside Riley and Mira's data against Sonic as the heroic hedgehog was overwhelmed and smashed into a dead palm tree while dropping the final chaos emerald.
"At long last Ultimate power is MINE!"
Metallix roared in his victory collecting the emerald as a weakened Sonic could only watch as the end was about to happen just then a voice yelled.
"CHAOS CONTROL!" As Shadow jumped into the scene wrapping the emeralds away as Metallix stood there with a horrified look on his face that his power had been taken from him as Sonic gained a second wind as he was now back on his feet.
"Back to square one Jerkallix!" Sonic said however the robot calmed down and said "I think not hedgehog I have absorbed enough power from the emeralds to find them!"
Sonic and Shadow's eyes widened in horror the moment Metallix said that before they could jump on the robot he shouted "CHAOS CONTROL!"
And just like that the one who had caused the destruction of Mobius was gone with no way of pursuing him until the hedgehogs had an idea of the Death Egg as Sonic's voice narrated.
"With Metallix wrapping his way to your world after the emeralds leaving us high and dry with no way to hunt him down so we then returned to the scene of the crime the Death Egg in hopes of chasing after him…"
Sonic moved open a busted door and then turns on a light and sees Tails and Aura on the other side of the room
"Tails? Aura?" Sonic said in shock to see his little bro was alive alongside Aura "Sonic!"
Tails shouted in joy as the two hugged each other as Aura said "Glad to see your alright big blue!"
Sonic smiled as tears fell from his eyes "I thought Metallix killed you!" Tails chuckled and said rubbing his nose.
"That's what Metallix thought too, but I was able to outsmart him and play dead and I was even able to meet up with Aura who also survived." Tails lowered his head and then said in a sad voice.
"I checked on our other friends, Sonic, but they weren't so lucky. Metallix killed them all; he took out the Freedom fighters and even Team mystic."
"That monster murdered them!" Aura shouted with tears in her eyes as she held out on Hieratic light and Mira's whip at first Sonic was confused on why she had it but understood why as Shadow then said.
"We don't have time to mourn the dead Metallix has wrapped himself whenever the emeralds have landed!" Tails nodded as he hacked into Eggman's computer and said.
"Got it! Looks like the emeralds have been teleported to a dimension called the Mushroom Kingdom, looks like we're gonna have to build a capsule created by artificial chaos energy.." Aura said in curiosity.
"That's odd how Sunnyside was able to get information on a different world. You guys don't think he's still alive?"
Sonic said in thought "Don't know we didn't even see Egghead anywhere so we thought he may be dead.." Shadow then said "It's best we stay on guard in case the doctor is alive.."
After finishing the capsule Shadow yelled "CHAOS CONTROL!" And just like that the capsule vanishes out of sight as Sonic's voice narrates.
"After making our final preparations, Shadow hooked himself up to the capsule and used Chaos Control to send us to the Mushroom kingdom. And of course, you all know what happened after that…"
As the scene where MC Ballyhoo and Rawk were watching Metal Boser as lights start flashing as a second has passed as the capsule appears falling toward the Earth. The MC notices this and screams and manages to get out of its way just in time while Rawk Hawk was struggling to hang onto his cloud and it lands on Bowser before rolling to the side of the force of the impact causes Bowser's metal armour to get destroyed.
Mario was silent as that felt horrible knowing that it would have been sad to lose your home and all your friends like that as Peach was crying and said.
"That sounds so awful!" Sonic said in a sombre voice "Yeah tell me about it And the same thing could happen to the Mushroom Kingdom if we don't act fast. If Metallix gets all seven Emeralds and archives his perfect form, all is lost. So, do you guys think you're up to the challenge?"
Mario and Luigi were silent before entering a battle stance while bringing out cape feathers as they removed their Doctor uniforms as Mario said "You bet we're ready it may sound dangerous and risky but we laugh in the face of danger!" "OH YEAH!"
Luigi shouted as Aura came over and said with a smile on her face as she hugged the two brothers "Thank you…"
Just then a noise was heard from outside the room as an elderly man came flying into the room using something like a vacuum cleaner to fly into the room while crashing into the wall.
"Oh ouch!" Was all the old man said as everyone came over to him as Peach took off her nurse outfit and got into a casual outfit as the old man noticed Luigi and said with a smile.
"Ah hey there Luigi it's been some time since our last reunion hehe? Sorry about the mess back there. I was testing a new invention and I guess I missed a few bugs. " Luigi then said with a surprised look.
"Professor E gadd what brings you to the hospital?" He then had an annoyed look "Don't tell me you sold King Boo's portrait to a random evil ghost again."
E Gadd chuckled and said "Nonsense my boy when news was going around the Toad Town about a strange metallic hedgehog that was causing all sorts of mayhem across the place looking for Chaos Emerald if I recall correctly?"
Shadow growls to himself saying "That's Metallix alright!" E Gadd then had a smile "Now don't start getting your fur or hair in a knot for I have invented something to help you out on your quest behold."
E Gadd had his hand out in his pocket and revealed a Nintendo 3DS as everyone had deadpan expressions "A 3ds you were in your lab for a while and made a Nintendo 3ds just wow!" Was all Mario said with a deadpan look at the inventor.
"It's not just any 3ds Mario this is my newest invention I call the 3-Dimensional Chaos Emerald Radar property or the 3DCER for short."
Tails looked as he held the DS in his hands "Wow not bad for a name." Tails opened the 3DS as the top screen showed a Chaos on the screen "After hearing you were searching for the emeralds, I got to my lab in Evershade valley and made the radar that could lock onto their unique energy signature. I'm sure it'll help you find them much quicker."
"Oddly, it says there's a Chaos Emerald right here in this very room." Sonic said as E Gadd then said "Why of course how else do I think I built the thing without an emerald to study?"
E Gadd dug his hands into his pocket again and showed a Chaos Emerald, a yellow one as everyone gasped in total shock with Tails and Sonic in joy at the same time.
"A Chaos Emerald!?" "Why yes it just came crashing into my lab just the other day. I have to admit I was very intrigued by it. So I hope you don't mind if I hold it for now?"
Aura then said, taking the emerald from the man's hands. "With all due respect, Mr. Gadd I think the emerald's safe in our hands, right Shadow?" Shadow nodded in agreement "Indeed the emeralds have all sorts of different abilities so it's the wisest course of action."
E Gadd then said "Very well I think I have information for the time being on the emerald." Aura smiled until the radar began beeping however it wasn't for the emerald they had as the tiger then took the radar and zoomed out of the hospital.
"Whoa Aura where are you going?!" Sonic shouted in total shock as he, Tails, Mario, Luigi and Shadow followed after her.
Aura arrived at the border of the kingdom as the radar was detecting something as the others finally caught up with her.
"Aura, why did you take the radar?" Tails asked the tiger as Aura then said as the radar was pinging "It's saying there's an emerald way out there somewhere."
Mario then gently took back the radar as he held the radar out as it was detecting emerald as he then said "She's right! And I think I might know where our next Chaos Emerald is."
"Really you do Mario?" Asked Sonic as Mario nodded with a smile as he held out the radar. "It's most likely far away but luckily I know a guy who knows his way around the seaside follow me."
The group then follow Mario knowing he had an idea how to get to the island however hiding from the bushes the Koopa Bros.
"It's a real bummer we didn't just grab the emerald when we had the chance, I mean that tiger lady was really fast!" Yellow said with an annoyed look while Green then said "Seems like it dude but however it seems like they're gonna lead us to more Chaos Emeralds."
Red nodded saying "Agreed let's follow them bros as soon as those chums do the dirty we reap the rewards for Lord Bowser!"
The other three nodded as the Bros followed Mario's group to the Mushroom Kingdom docks.
Having acquired a way to find the Chaos Emeralds much easier Mario and his group's next stop is none other than Yoshi's island but in order to travel to the island they must find a good captain on their quest to travel to said island however danger is not far behind as the Koopa Bros are watching them from a distance with the desire to steal their Chaos Emeralds for Bowser.
Will Mario and his allies be able to collect the next emerald or will the Koopa brothers steal the emeralds when they don't suspect it?

And that wraps another good chapter it took a while but I finally did it and I also decided to change the gameboy in the original SMBZ into a Nintendo 3DS because how didn't love the 3DS as a kid anyway it'll look much better then the Gameboy anyway that'll be all for the time being RGGAM out!
