Synopsis: Hiro's first day back at school gets awry when his newfound friends accidentally uncover his superhero identity. Meanwhile, someone else has other plans.
Prologue:
"Phase 4!" Fred exclaimed 5 times as he celebrated with excitement. "Setting: Big Hero 6 bas-" Fred narrates "No more narrating", the others remind him as he keeps narrating for the past few days. "Well, tomorrow would be your first time without us in SFIT since the three of us graduated," Honey Lemon, Wasabi, and Gogo said in a particular order. "Yeah, the first time being a mentor every morning," Hiro said. "WAIT! Hiro the teacher?! Please tell me if it is real please tell me is it real?!" Fred exclaimed. "There are some similarities and differences between mentors and teachers, let me dictate to you." Baymax reminds him that both teachers and mentors have some similarities and differences. "No no no," Fred said.
"Hiro, Baymax, Fred, Heathcliff has arrived." Basemax reminds. "Oop! That's our ride!" Fred chimes with excitement. "Bye, guys," Hiro said as he and Fred went home. "Good luck in school!" Wasabi exclaimed. "Goodbye" Baymax said. "I hope they will do well" Gogo worries. "I'm sure they will, but for now, let's just focus on our lives," Honey responds.

Out of nowhere, a figure looks at the screen in front of him. The screen shows the cameras of the Big Hero 6 headquarters. "Big Hero 6... Nice to see you again" The figure, who appears to be Obake, unbeknownst to the world, is still alive. Meanwhile, Hiro wakes up from his sleep, he then checks the time and cheers, as it is the first day back to school. Meanwhile, Fred, who has his phone silent the whole time, is woken up by Heathcliff with Mini Max, who appears to be in his super armor, circling Fred.
Meanwhile, in the Lucky Cat Cafe, "Morning Aunt Cass!" Hiro says as he arrives downstairs to eat breakfast, only to find out that his friend, Karmi, is eating. "Hey Hir- oooo. YOU LIVE HERE?!" Karmi said as she was shocked when she found out that he was Cass' nephew. Embarrassed, Hiro was about to run off when he realized something and started to blush. "Are you okay?" Aunt Cass asked. "I'm fine, just getting nervous as I have to mentor some new kid in school." Hiro said, and returned to eat breakfast. "How's life back in San Fransokyo?" Hiro asks Karmi as she is returning to SFIT since her parents allowed her. "Well, it has been well, and guess what? Instead of staying in Ichiba Street, I would be living in a dormitory in SFIT, tho I have a roommate.." Karmi said. "Who" Hiro asked.
Hiro, Baymax, and Karmi, and at the same time, Fred, arrive at SFIT and take their ID pictures. "Well, I look more than different" Hiro muttered as he compared his old ID card with his new ID card. "Hey, Karmi!" Someone said. "Regina!" Karmi said excitedly as she saw her roommate. "Who's Regina?" Hiro asked. "You may have known her thanks to one of your friends, but I, Justine Karmi, introduce to you, Regina Miyazaki, my roommate!" Karmi said. "Nice to see you, Honey Lemon's friends," Regina said, happily. "Regina! My sister!" Someone else said as Regina looked. "Aiko!" Regina exclaimed excitedly as she saw her with a new friend, who turned out to be the one Hiro would be mentoring. "Oh yeah, this is my sister, Aiko Miyazaki!" Regina exclaims. "You're Hiro Hamada?! THE 3RD YOUNGEST STUDENT HERE BEFORE ME AND RISHI?!" Aiko exclaims, loudly that everyone hears it, embarrassing her. "Although I'm about to turn fourteen also known as your age when you joined SFIT soon." Aiko clarifies. "Actually, I'm fifteen." Hiro clarifies.
"Mr. Hamada, Mr. Patel's class is about to begin in 30 minutes," Professor Granville said. "Ms. A. Miyazaki, your first class is about to begin in less than 10 minutes." She reminds Aiko to her dismay as her classes start early. "Well, this is reality, nice to meet you too, Freddie, can I call you that?" Aiko asked. "I'm okay with any other name Aiko," Fred said. "6 minutes before my class starts, gotta swoop!" Aiko said and left. "Goodbye," Baymax said. "Me and Regina's about to start soon," Karmi exclaims. "Bye, guys! See you at lunch!" Regina excitedly exclaims. Unbeknownst to them, someone is using an invisible drone to spy on them.
Meanwhile, Gogo is calling Wasabi, who just got his car out of the bay after falling into a trap set by the police force. Gogo is in her and Honey Lemon's apartment while Wasabi is excited about something. "Gogo! Professor Granville accepted my job application on SFIT!" he exclaimed. "Now I'am a Physics teacher!" He added. "Well, I wish you luck on your job," Gogo responded. "What's going on Gogo?" Honey said as she got the food ready. "Nothing much. Except that Wasabi told me that he is returning to SFIT." Gogo responds. "Wait, you mean he is studying there after graduating?" Honey Said. "No, he is returning to SFIT to teach Physics." Gogo answered "Oh my! I WISH HIM GOOD LUCK!" Honey exclaims.
Meanwhile, in SFIT, Hiro is taking Rishi to his first class. "Now, make sure you listen to this professor tentatively and I recommend you to take notes so you won't forget," Hiro said as he and Rishi went inside. "Hello, students! Welcome to the first day of umm. What is it again? OH! Math class! Welcome to Math class everybody!" The professor exclaims with excitement. Meanwhile, in Professor Granville's Office, Wasabi is talking with Professor Granville. "Mr Wasabi, here is your schedule." The professor reminded. "You will have your first class in the afternoon." She added, to which she shows a list of the names of his students, which includes Hiro and Rishi themselves.
"Math's done, now what's next in my schedule." Rishi asked as he and Hiro walk down the hallway. "Uh, Hamada?"
"Wasabi? What are you doing here?" Turns out, Hiro actually stopped as he looks at someone familiar to him stare at them.
"Oh, you see, I'am a teacher here now, uh" Wasabi said, to which he looked at Rishi. "Who is this little one?"
"Ugh, I do not trust people who call me a little one." Rishi muttered, as he looked at both hiro and Wasabi. "Tho I'am eleven.."
"Rishi, this is Wasabi." Hiro said as he introduced his friend and his protege to each other. "Wasabi, Rishi."
"Oh wow, a new friend you made here." Wasabi said, to which Hiro replied, "Actually, I'am his mentor."
"Heads up!" A girl in roller skates exclaimed, as she slowed to a stop just as she sees Hiro and Rishi. "What's hackin' Rishey? And how's class with teen robotics-genius right here??"
"We are doing pretty great. And Aiko, meet Wasabi. Wasabi, meet-" Hiro said as Wasabi added something.
"Okay you made some." Wasabi said, before he greeted her and Rishi. "Nice to meet you too. Now if you excuse me, I have some classes to teach."
And as a result, Hiro and Rishi proceeded to their next class while Wasabi went to the teacher's lab, and Aiko proceeded to the lab but unbeknownst to them, they were being spied at.
"Heh heh heh... Big Hero 6, getting separated for the first time in days!" Obake said, looking at the data his secret drones gave. "This fall.. MY LEGACY LIVES ON!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!! But before that, I will need help" Obake added, looking at a photo of Trina. Night has befallen, and Karmi, who was walking near Hiro's lab, sees something unusual. "Wait a minute. IS THAT RED PANDA'S ROCKET FIST?!" Karmi exclaims, and secretly, gets inside while calling the others. "Hey, Hiro!" Wasabi said. "Dope helmet by the way.." Fred responds to Hiro, who arrives wearing his white helmet with green in the middle. "Hey, Fred! Just test-drove my moped around SFIT." Hiro responds. "Wait do you see that?" Hiro adds as he sees his newfound friends inside his lab.
"Okay, everyone! This is an emergency meeting!" Karmi exclaims as the other three new friends Hiro made arrive at his lab. "What kind of meeting?" Regina asked. "And isn't this Hiro's lab? You have your lab, right?" Rishi added. "Well, it's a secret meeting. A TOP secret type of meeting!" Karmi responds, with the gang being confused. "Wait, that glove... WAS HIRO THE BIG HERO 6 GUY?!" Rishi exclaims. "Sorta... LOOKS LIKE THE BLUE CHOP CHOP THINGS!" Aiko exclaims as she looks at Wasabi's blades, accidentally activating them before turning them off. "Wait a minute, if these look like their hero wear, wait do you know what I mean?" Regina said, shocking herself and the others as they discovered Hiro's superhero identity. "They're Big Hero 6!" All exclaimed, shocking Hiro, Wasabi, and Fred.
Meanwhile, somewhere in San Fransokyo, Obake arrives in prison, wearing a disguise. "I'm here to visit Trina," Obake said, which was revealed to be a lie to bust her out of prison. "Obake! You're alive!" Trina exclaims. "I'm so glad to see you, now hurry because we are getting out of here," Obake responds before half of his face goes purple. "You're driving skills are great, Hiro. But maybe try to slow down a little bit next time." Said Wasabi, as he commended Hiro's way of bringing him and Baymax to the base. "Hey guys! Lots of traffic out there, but Heathcliff got me here so fast!" Fred exclaimed as he arrived, exiting the limo.
The quartet enters the base. "EMERGENCY MEETING! EMERGENCY MEETING!" Fred exclaimed, with Gogo and Honey Lemon looking. "What's the problem?" Gogo responded. "Well, I finished test-driving my moped," Hiro said. "Oh, nice!" Honey Lemon responded. "But we discovered something about our superhero identities," Wasabi added. "They uncovered us! THEY UNCOVERED US!" Fred exclaims. "Like who? Gogo answered. "Our, newfound friends in SFIT," Hiro said, causing everyone to gasp. "Cannot believe it! OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND WE GOT OUR IDENTITIES UNVEILED!" Wasabi exclaims. "This is bad!"
"Hey, at least only 2 are remained hidden." Hiro said as he looked at Gogo and Honey, relieved that theirs are safe but his and 3 others aren't. "But us four..."
"I can't believe it! I thought Hiro and Captain Cutie were two separate people, but in reality, they are one!" Karmi exclaims as she, Aiko, Regina, and Rishi regroup at her and Regina's dormitory. "The first time I saw "Hero" Hiro in battle, was the first time I got interested in SFIT! IT GOT MORE INTERESTING!" Rishi added. "Guys! Guys! What if they discovered us looking at their hero identities?" Aiko asked. "WE MUST KEEP ALL OF THESE A TOP SECRET!" All exclaimed. "Or maybe we should help them?" Rishi asked, to which everyone else disagreed. The next day, Hiro, Fred, Baymax, Mini Max, and Wasabi are in the latter's car, driving to SFIT. "We tried hard to hide our superhero identity from them!" Mini Max, who is being cuddled by Fred in the backseat, said. "And we failed!" Hiro, who was in the front, exclaimed. "Oh no," Baymax said. After some time driving, they arrived, eventually.
"Hey, Whiplash!" Fred said as he called for Aiko using the nickname he made for her. "Freddie! I cannot believe this but my second class is with Rishi!" Aiko responded. "Long story short but me and Rishi had been friends for like, days after moving into our dormitory, and days before school started," Aiko added. "Not to mention us being roommates!" Rishi exclaimed. "Oh well, that's cool. It's also the same for me except I will be mentoring him. But so far so good, we had been friends for weeks now, even staying in touch." Hiro responded as he showed her his phone. "Hey, Hamada! Class in 5 minutes! Also known as the first time I and Aiko have been in the same class." Rishi reminded, using his phone. "So, what is the plan, dad?" Trina asks as she and Obake are in a warehouse, chatting about ways to stop Big Hero 6 from ruining their plans. "We drag the 4 members studying in SFIT here," Obake said. "But how?" Trina asked. "Well..." Obake responded. Later, in class, Aiko and Rishi are seated beside each other, with Hiro keeping an eye out for Rishi.
"Okay class, today, we will learn about programming and inventing a small object." The professor said. "Ooh cannot wait!" Aiko said, silently. "Wha-what do you mean?" Hiro whispered. "Oh! She means she is doing a gimmick or making a new gadget." Rishi whispered until the professor begins their class, which excites Rishi, getting his notepad to jot down notes. "If I could make a portal one, then I might need to learn about portal technology," Aiko whispered, to which Hiro and Rishi looked at her. "It's not like the ones that nearly destroyed the city," Aiko responded to them by whispering.
"Ms. Aiko Miyazaki, what are you doing?" The professor warned. "Oh! I-i'm listening. Just to clarify." Aiko said. "You were so excited about this topic weren't you?" Hiro said as he, Fred, Aiko, and Rishi walked to the Periodic Cafe to meet up with the others. "I was! I'm so gonna use those for..." Aiko said as Hiro, Rishi, and Fred, were looking at her, weirdly. "S-Self-defense tactics!" Rishi lies as he tries hiding his, Aiko's, Regina's, and Karmi's knowledge about the Big Hero 6 identities. "Ooooookay! Okie dok-" Fred said, hitting an invisible object flying. "Take this code!" Rishi said as he hacked that object, which was revealed to be a buddy guard. "This seems familiar.." Hiro muttered. Later, Big Hero 6 was flying to the coordinates from the buddy guard. The heroes enter the warehouse, where Gogo accidentally triggers a trap, trapping the heroes.
"Oh no," Baymax said. "Glad to see you, Big Hero, 6..." A voice said. "Wonder where they are." Regina wonders. "Baymax was last seen. IN A WAREHOUSE?!" Rishi said, checking Baymax on his tablet. "Rideshare time!" Karmi said as she requested a ride to the warehouse where Baymax was last seen. "You three go without me. I don't like riding a mechanical vehicle." Aiko said. "Not to mention two-wheeled things, such as Hiro's moped, which I liked but can't bring myself to ride," Aiko added as they exited the building, heading straight to her rollerskates. "Meet you in the warehouse, sis!" Regina exclaimed, boarding the ride alongside Karmi and Rishi.
"Glad to see you, Big Hero 6. It has been a very long time.." The voice, who appears to be Obake, said. "Obake! I knew it! I knew you would be alive!" Hiro said. "Let us out," Baymax said. "Not when Obake has his daughter around." Another voice said, who appears to be Trina. "Oh no." The heroes said. "Let's end this," Obake said as he turned to his computer, only to find it shut down. "LET MY HEROES GO!" Karmi said as she, and the other friends, arrived. "Karmi, how did you know?" Hiro asked. "Not now, Hiro! Rishi, keys!" Karmi said as she ran to the cell to save the heroes. "The drones are surrounding us," Aiko said. "I can't hack almost every buddy guard at once!" Rishi exclaimed. "Guys! Maybe we should use this!" Aiko points to four metal pipes, gathering an idea. "To you, roomie!" Regina exclaims as she throws one to Karmi and catches it. "There!" Karmi exclaims as she catches the pipe and unlocks the cell. "Let's go!" Hiro orders.
The battle between a long-handed Big Hero 6 and the buddy guards goes on. Fred uses his headlights to distract each of them, while Wasabi slices them. Aiko and Regina slash multiple buddy guards at the same time as the sisters run. Flying on Baymax, Rishi uses his hacking skills to shut down more, while Hiro throws a mini magnet to a buddy guard for some buddy guards to explode upon reaching the magnetized buddy guard. "Hiro! I need some help here!" Karmi calls for Hiro, to which he shoots two mini magnets, one to the ceiling and one to the pole Karmi is holding, allowing her to kick multiple buddy guards as she swings. Rishi then gets off Baymax to use his pole to save Aiko from getting hit by a buddy guard, to which they blush but stop as they continue shutting down buddy guards. "Let's end this!" Gogo and Honey Lemon said in unison as they used both of their powers to shut off the remaining bots. Afterward, the team escapes, with all four of their new friends boarding on Baymax.
"So those are your new friends?" Gogo said as the team arrived at the base. "Yes," Baymax said. "Our new schoolmates. Fresh from SFIT." Hiro added. "I know you would get mad at us for not stopping them -" Wasabi explained, only for Gogo to interrupt. "We are not mad." She said. "I liked how you four literally saved us from trouble." Honey Lemon commended. "It's nice for us to help you when needed!" Karmi said, before looking at Hiro, who felt worried. "What's wrong, Genius Boy?" Karmi said. "Nothing, it's just that, with Obake still alive, we will have to prepare," Hiro said. "And I know how to prepare ourselves," Hiro adds as he looks at his tablet. Meanwhile, Obake and Trina are both shaping their plans to stop Big Hero 6.
