Chapter 32: Sibling Rivalry
Hey everyone, I'm back with a new chapter. Sorry about the wait I had to sort a few things out regarding my future updates. Anyway I'm glad you all enjoyed the Camula battles. And I hope you like what I have planned here. Please Review and Enjoy.
It had been a week since Takeru had defeated Camula and currently things were quiet. While Jaden and Takeru were having some trouble grasping their situation, they eventually managed to overcome it and focus on the task at hand.
However, others were having some problems with that.
At the Slifer Red Dorm, Chazz was one of them.
"I can't take it anymore! The Chazz shouldn't have to live like a Slifer rat!" Chazz snaps revealing he is in his Slifer room with a giant bed and tons of other boxes and items. "I used to be an Obelisk Blue! Jacuzzi tub! Turndown service! A week of renovations and this place still isn't livable!"
Appearing behind him, Ojama Yellow floated up to his shoulder.
"Hey Boss, you sound stressed. Oh yeah just look at all this pressure building up." Ojama Yellow said.
"You! If you want to be helpful, get lost!" Chazz said scaring the daylights out of his duel spirit. "And if you want to see pressure!" Smacking his hands together he made Ojama Yellow disappear. "Finally, some peace and quiet."
"What's up?" As if on cue, Jaden and Syrus were near the entrance to his room startling Chazz.
"Haven't you heard of knocking?!" Chazz glares.
"Well we did…but your door is over there," Syrus said pointing to the door that had been temporarily removed due to renovations.
While Jaden and Syrus laughed at the situation Chazz was not amused.
"Not funny," Chazz said.
"You're right. So how about we skip the funny and go right to the fun?" Jaden suggests as they take off their shoes and begin jumping on Chazz's big bed.
"Hey! My bed is not a trampoline!" Chazz said being flung around by their bounces.
"By the way." Syrus starts.
"The Chancellor wants to see you." Jaden finishes.
"Sheppard? Why?" Chazz asks confused.
"Oh just something about the fate of Duel Academy," Jaden said casually.
"Wait what?!" Chazz said nearly falling off the bed.
Meanwhile, in the Nurse's office, Fontaine was at her desk as a figure was changing behind a curtain.
"I found you a new uniform. I figured it was better than walking around in your old outfit." She calls out. "Just FYI it was the only color jacket we had available in your size.
"It'll work." Slowly stepping out, we see Akiza wearing a Slifer Red Jacket over a white button-down shirt under it.
"Wow, that fits you perfectly." Looking at the door, Akiza saw Takeru walk in.
"We're really doing this huh?" Akiza asks.
"I promised I'd help you when you got back on your feet and I'm not breaking that promise," Takeru assures.
"Still feels weird to be wearing one of these after all this time," Akiza said tugging her collar.
"Here. You probably want this back." Takeru said holding out her deck.
"You really think giving a Shadow Rider back her deck is a good idea?" Akiza raises an eyebrow.
"Former Shadow Rider, you're on our side now. Think of it like this, if you want to earn people's trust prove that they can be safe around you even when you're armed." Takeru said but Akiza was unsure. "But if you don't want it back, I guess I'll just help myself to some of the rare cards inside."
"Don't you dare!" Lunging forward Akiza tried to take her cards back only for Takeru to put them right in her hands.
"See? Trust." Takeru smiles making her smile softly.
"Alright, what did you have in mind?" Akiza asks.
"Come on, Jaden told me that he and Chazz had to see Sheppard we'll start small," Takeru said as they turned to leave.
In Chancellor Sheppard's office, we see Chazz meeting with Sheppard while Jaden, Syrus, and Prof. Banner are nearby.
"I have some urgent news, Chazz," Sheppard said turning his chair to face him.
"Finally, did my new bed arrive?" Chazz assumes.
"Sweet. Let's go jump around on it." Jaden grins.
"This isn't about your living arrangements." Banner corrects.
"Then what?" Chazz asks.
"Well, someone is trying to buy out Duel Academy. And this someone wants to get rid of all the students and teachers and shut this place down." Sheppard explains much to the horror to the students.
"Why would they do that?" Jaden asks.
"Because without us, they would control the entire dueling world," Sheppard said. "But fortunately our own has given us a chance."
Flashback:
In a brightly lit office, we see a man in a white trench coat and brown hair with his back to the buyer.
"You heard me. It's not about the money, it's about the cards. I will only sell you my Academy if you prove your worth as a duelist and beat one of my students." The owner declares.
Flashback End:
"It all comes down to one duel," Banner declares.
"Let me, I'll whup this guy." Jaden offers.
"No. The Duelist has already been chosen." Sheppard said shutting down Jaden's offer.
"Then who's it gonna be? Zane? Takeru?" Jaden lists but Sheppard turns his head towards Chazz indicating he was the duelist to represent the school. "Chazz is gonna duel?"
"For some reason, they asked for him specifically," Banner said when they suddenly got a video call. "I believe this is them now." Walking up, Banner answers the call, and appearing on screen everyone gasps to see the ones who were buying out the school were none other than Chazz's older brothers Slade and Jagger.
"It's Chazz's brothers?" Syrus gasps.
"Them again?" Jaden groans.
"Lousy scrubs. What are you up to?" Chazz glares.
"Come on Chazz, don't you know? Jagger?" Slade smirks looking at his brother.
"Same thing as always little brother." Jagger grins.
"Complete world domination." Both said at the same time.
"Don't you remember Chazz? Our little family project." Slade reminds.
"Oh shove it. That was always your project." Chazz denies.
"Well now it pretty much is," Slade said.
"That's right. All because you couldn't pull your weight and conquer the world of dueling. So now Slade is just going to have to do that for you." Jagger gestures.
"I'm dueling Slade?" Chazz said unsure if he heard them right.
"You can take him easy, Chazz," Syrus assures.
"Yeah, Slade's just an amateur. You guys might want to rethink your business strategy because it stinks." Jaden mocks.
"No, it doesn't, because there are some conditions." Taking out a black briefcase, Slade opens it to reveal a ton of cards. "First, I'm allowed to use all these rare cards, the same rare cards that we gave you to use for the School Duel. Of course, you refused to use them and you lost, but there's one more condition. You're only allowed to use monsters that have less than 500 attack points in our duel." Slade declares.
"500 attack points?!" Syrus said in disbelief.
"This is a joke, right? Say no Chazz." Jaden urged.
"It's too late for that. The terms have already been accepted. So there's nothing you can do about it." Slade smirks.
"This isn't fair!" Jaden snaps.
"No, it's not. And that's the point." Slade laughed along with Jagger before they hung up.
"Wow, and you people call me evil?" Looking to the door they saw Akiza with Takeru.
"How much did you hear?" Jaden asks.
"When Slade told you he set up the most unfair duel imaginable," Takeru said.
"So how do you plan to deal with this?" Akiza asks looking at Chazz.
"Guess, we all better start packing," Chazz said surprising everyone as he walked out.
"Wait, you're just giving up, just like that?" Takeru asks.
"Chazz, wait a minute." Jaden calls out stopping him. "You can win this."
"For real." Syrus agrees.
"Don't you get it? I can't. Duel Academy is through." Chazz said walking out.
"I thought key keepers were supposed to be the best this school had to offer?" Akiza raises an eyebrow.
"Something's not right. I've seen Chazz duel; and sure he's got a big mouth and his annoying but he's a good duelist. And more importantly, he hates his brothers. He'd love nothing more than to get back at them." Takeru said.
"Yeah, you're right. Come on, let's go. You too Akiza." Jaden said heading out.
"Why do I have help?" Akiza asks.
"Because as long as you're wearing school colors, you have just as much to lose as we do," Takeru said gesturing to her Slifer Red jacket.
Sighing, Akiza knew that he was right.
It didn't take long for word to spread around Duel Academy. As Chazz made his way down the hall, several students were whispering about him.
"Look there's Chazz."
"It's totally Chazz's fault."
"I heard he's already accepted defeat."
"Of course he has. He probably wants his brothers to win."
"We never should have let him come back."
"I know that you're all dead wrong," Jaden calls out as he, Takeru, Syrus, and Akiza catch up with him. "Chazz can duel with the best. I know because I've dueled him myself,"
"Yeah, I know that. That's exactly the problem, Jaden!" Chazz glares.
"Look it's not the end of the world. If we make some adjustments to your cards, you can still duel." Takeru suggests.
"No I can't," Chazz said.
"Honestly, Chazz you're not making any sense," Bastion said as he, Alexis, and Madison approached them.
"Bastion's right, being tough is usually a good thing, Chazz," Alexis agrees.
"Never thought a guy who loves to toot his own horn would back down from a duel." Madison agrees.
"Look it's…" Chazz starts.
"It's about Chazz being too tough, specifically his deck; it's about him not even being able to duel." Zane said walking in.
"What do you mean?" Syrus asks.
"What I mean, Syrus, is that his deck isn't built with monsters that have less than 500 attack points," Zane explains.
"Wait, so that means…" Jaden realized.
"My cards are all too powerful. Because of that condition, my stupid brothers set up, my deck is useless! All I got left is him." Reaching into his coat, Chazz pulls out his Ojama Yellow card. Causing everyone to gasp in disbelief.
"You only have one card in your whole deck that meets the requirements?" Takeru said in disbelief.
"You can't make a deck with one card," Jaden said.
"He may not have to." Looking atop the staircase they saw Banner sitting on the steps holding Pharaoh. "This is just a rumor, but given the circumstances, I think it'd be worth investigating. Now supposedly, my students, deep in the woods is a very old well and within this well, lay a great many cards. You see, they were discarded by duelists who believed them to be too weak to ever use in their decks. Of course, the spirits of all those cards are a bit angry for being left behind."
Hearing this Mindy couldn't help but pause. 'Wait that sounds like.' Looking at her deck box, Mindy remembered when she found her card spirit. 'So there are more cards like you out there.'
"Oh yeah? Well, the Chazz has a feeling that they're gonna be perking up real soon. Because I'm gonna find that well and enlist some new monsters for my deck." Chazz declares causing the students to cheer.
Soon Chazz was walking through the forest with Jaden and Takeru following behind him.
"You know, you guys don't have to follow me everywhere." Chazz glares at them.
"Hey you might need some help," Jaden said.
"Yeah especially if those angry duel spirits come after you," Takeru said.
"Give me a break. Like Banner said, it's probably just a rumor." Chazz said when 3 spectral forms shot out of the ground and flew over them.
"Or not," Takeru said surprised.
"Those guys don't look friendly," Jaden said as some flew through them but they didn't feel a thing.
"That was weird. Why didn't anything happen?" Takeru asks.
"They're weak duel spirits, remember? They're harmless." Chazz reminds. "They're kinda like the annoying roommate I got crashing in my deck."
'They're not in the same league as Mahad, that's for sure.' Takeru thought.
"Hey guys look! There's the well." Jaden points to a large hole in the middle of the path.
"What was your first clue, Slacker? The hole in the ground?" Chazz mocks.
"You know you're technically a Slifer Slacker too." Takeru counters shutting him up.
"Let's just see if there are any cards in there," Chazz said.
Dropping a ladder down, the three of them make their way to the bottom only to see the entire place is full of abandoned cards.
"Look at all of them," Takeru said horrified that so many people would treat their cards like this.
"It's just like Banner said," Chazz said looking around.
"You could make a weak deck with these in no time," Jaden said when two small spirits popped out of their cards. One was green, wearing red bikini briefs, and had one large eye. The other was black, wearing matching briefs, and a large nose on his face.
"In case you knuckleheads didn't notice, this is private property!" The black one said.
"Yeah, that's tellin' 'em!" The green one said getting their attention.
"Numbskulls like you ditched us here, so we don't want you here!" The black one snapped.
"These two are a few cards short of a deck." Chazz mocks
"Hey! Who you calling short, Chowdahead?!" The black one snaps.
"Yeah." The green one glares.
"You. You little freaks are crazy." Chazz mocks.
"Hey!"
"We're not freaks!"
Two more voices came next to Chazz in the form of two more spirits. The first was a small red monster, with a slightly chubby body, a round head, the same bikini briefs, and a yellow handkerchief around his neck. The second was a blue-colored monster with a very slim body, puckered, wearing the same briefs.
"Oh great more of them?" Chazz groans.
"You wanna mess with us? Bring it." The red one glares.
"Listen, we didn't leave you here but someone else did because you're weak." Chazz declares.
Hearing this the 4 spirits choked up.
"It's true!" The black one sobs.
"We're weak!" The green cries.
"Losers!" The red one cries.
"Worthless!" The blue one sobs.
All around them, the other spirits began to sob too much to their annoyance.
"Chazz! Apologize so they'll stop crying!" Takeru said covering his ears.
"Alright! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!" Chazz said.
"Nobody wants us do they?!" The black one sobs.
"Hey what's all the racket? I'm trying to sleep." Ojama Yellow said popping his head out.
Instantly the 4 spirits stopped crying and looked in disbelief.
"Wait is that?" The black one starts.
"Yes." The green one nods.
"Yellow?" The blue one said hopefully.
"Black? Green? Red? Blue? Is that you?" Ojama Yellow said in disbelief.
"It's our long-lost brother! Ojama Yellow!" All 4 said revealing they were Ojamas.
"My family!" Ojama Yellow said jumping off Chazz to hug them.
"Welcome back!" The 4 Ojamas cheered.
"Well this is a surprise," Takeru said.
"Yeah, talk about a family reunion," Jaden said.
"Whatever. I'm going." Chazz said turning to leave.
"What? Why?" Ojama Red asks.
"Boss isn't exactly a fan of Duel Spirits. He might…decide to leave all of you here." Ojama Yellow admits.
"Leave us?!" Ojama Blue said horrified.
"Who does he think he is?" Ojama Black said before turning to Chazz. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"
"I do what he says. He gets violent." Ojama Green warns.
"So much for weak," Jaden said.
"They really want to leave this well, Chazz," Takeru said.
"Yes! Take us with you!" The Ojamas said.
"Us too!" More duel spirits said getting in front of them. "Don't forget about us!"
"Well Chazz, what do you say?" Takeru asks.
Growling annoyed as much as Chazz didn't like it, he needed cards for his deck.
"Well…it can't hurt. Fine. Whoever wants to can come with me." Chazz offers making all the duel spirits smile. "But there's one condition."
"I know. It's lots of hugs, right?" Flying up, Ojama Yellow hugs Chazz but he just swats him away.
"Hugs coming up, Chazz!" The other Ojamas said much to his annoyance.
Chuckling Jaden and Takeru were enjoying this. Needless to say, compared to their relationships with Mahad and Winged Kuriboh, Chazz had a way to go.
The next day, Chazz and Slade faced off in the main duel arena for their match.
"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready? Today's match will determine the fate of Duel Academy. Slade Princeton vs Chazz Princeton. Now are you ready to duel?" An announcer asks as the crowd of students and staff eagerly awaited the match.
"If you want to back out, tell me now," Slade smirks looking across at Chazz.
"Does this answer your question?" Chazz asks readying his duel disk.
"Bring it! Duel!" Slade said as both inserted their decks.
Chazz: 4000
Slade: 4000
"Check this out." Chazz drew first. "I summon Soul Tiger in defense mode!" Appearing on Chazz's field a large ghostly tiger appeared at his side.
Soul Tiger: 0000/ 2100
"With that attack point handicap Chazz on him, I bet we'll hear that a lot," Alexis said.
"Yeah but defense points like that, that might just be a good thing," Jaden said trying to look on the bright side.
"You're up bro," Chazz said much to Jagger's amusement.
"Thank you." Slade grins drawing a card. "And I'll activate Polymerization and fuse Lord of D with Divine Dragon Ragnarok."
"This isn't good." Syrus gasps.
"With those he can summon…" Zane starts.
"King Dragun!" Slade declares as the Lord of D's body was atop of a large rainbow-colored serpentine-like body.
King Dragun: 2400/ 1100
"And check out his ability. Each and every turn he's on the field, I get to special summon another dragon-type monster from my hand. Like this one, Luster Dragon #2!" Picking a card from his hand, Slade summons a large emerald-based dragon to his side.
Luster Dragon #2: 2400/ 2000
"Two monsters with 2400 attack points?" Jaden gasps.
"This is gonna hurt." Takeru cringed.
"Big whoop." Chazz brushes off.
"I think you big whooping. King Dragun attack Soul Tiger with Fire Scourge!" Slade cackles as King Dragun blasts Soul Tiger destroying it. "Now Luster Dragon attack him directly with Emerald Flame attack!"
Releasing a powerful breath attack, Chazz got blasted by it causing him to scream in pain.
Chazz: 1600
Slade: 4000
"He got nailed." Jaden cringed.
"So much for all those defense points," Bastion said.
"How is Chazz supposed to fight back with this handicap?" Mindy asks.
"He has to rely on other methods to win." Madison points out.
"Well hopefully he plays one soon," Syrus said.
"Your move, Chazz." Slade glares.
Growling Chazz shook off the attack.
'Okay, bad start but I refuse to lose to him of all people.' Chazz drew. "I throw a monster in defense mode, and that's all."
"That's all? This'll be easier than I thought." Slade drew. "I summon Luster Dragon in attack mode!" Appearing at Slade's side was a third dragon with blue scales.
Luster Dragon: 1900/ 1600
"And now thanks to King Dragun's special ability, here's Hyonzanryu!" Joining the field a 4th dragon with diamonds on his back appeared.
Hyozanryu: 2100/ 2800
"Four Monsters?" Chazz gasps.
"Good for you, you can add. But tell me little brother, how's your subtraction? King Dragun, take out his last monster!" Slade orders as his monster attacks Chazz's.
As the card was flipped over, we saw a sad young woman before she was destroyed.
Grinning, Slade thought this match was his when suddenly tons of ugly little creatures in cloaks flew at Slade's entire field.
"What are these things?" Slade asks.
"It's multiplication. When Unhappy Maiden is sent to the graveyard, hundreds of her little friends fly in and end your turn." Chazz explains.
"So you last a little longer, big deal." Slade scoffs ending his turn.
"You wanna bet?" Chazz drew. "I summon Spirit of the Breeze in defense mode!" Appearing at Chazz's side was a green fairy monster.
Spirit of the Breeze: 0000/ 1800
"And then, I activate the spell card, The Dark Door! As long as this door is open for business, we can only attack with one monster each round." Chazz declares.
"Nice try little bro, but it's only a matter of time before I bust that door down." Slade threatens drawing his card. "And now, King Dragun attack! Fire Scourge!" Firing another attack, King Dragun obliterates Chazz's monster.
"Come on Chazz, you gotta draw one of them and now," Takeru mutters knowing what he needs.
As Chazz drew a card, he smiled seeing what it was.
"I play Ojama Blue in defense mode!" Chazz said summoning the blue Ojama.
Ojama Blue: 0000/1000
"Oh yeah my big debut! No more well for me." Ojama Blue said before noticing the 4 large dragons looking down at him. "Mommy." Ojama Blue whimpers in a squeaky voice before fainting on his card.
"Hey get up!" Chazz snaps startling Ojama Blue.
"Can I please go back to the well?" Ojama Blue whimpers.
"Really? A little blue freak?" Slade mocks.
"You can do better?" Chazz counters.
"You're about to find out." Slade drew and grinned at his card. "Perfect. With this card, your school is as good as mine. But first thing's first, King Dragun get that little pest off the field!"
Panicking Ojama Blue ran to the left only for one blast to narrowly miss him.
"Please! Have mercy!" Ojama Blue screams before he is destroyed.
"Thanks for that, you just activated his ability. When Ojama Blue is sent to the graveyard I can add any two cards from my deck as long as they have Ojama in the name. And I pick Ojamagic and Ojama Country." Chazz said adding them to his hand.
"Whatever, not like they'll do you any good. Not after I play this facedown." Slade said.
"I got a bad feeling about that card," Alexis said.
"No doubt it's to deal with Chazz's door," Zane said.
Takeru however was being hopeful. After hearing the two cards he drew he only hoped Chazz would pull off the combo needed.
"My draw." Chazz drew.
"Yeah that's right, and because it is. My trap activates! Dust Tornado! And you know what's right in its path?" Slade asks.
"Chazz's Dark Door." Jaden gasped as the spell card was destroyed.
"With that gone, Chazz can't hold off all his monsters," Bastion said
"Looks like the school is ours, bro." Jagger grins.
"Prepare the wrecking balls." Slade grins.
"That's what you think Bros. I activate the field spell Ojama Country!" Inserting a card into his field spell slot the two brothers find themselves in a small village.
"What kind of dump is this?" Slade asks looking around.
"This is how I plan on winning. By activating Ojama Country's ability I can send an Ojama Card from my hand to the graveyard to bring back an Ojama Monster. Like Ojama Blue in attack mode!"
"Oh thank goodness. I thought I was a goner." Ojama Blue sighs relieved.
Ojama Blue: 0000/ 1000
"And since I sent Ojamagic to the graveyard I can add Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black to my hand," Chazz said adding 3 cards to his hand.
"Wow, 3 weak cards from one weak deck. I'm shaking." Slade mocks not scared in the slightest.
"You will be because now I summon Ojama Red in attack mode!" Chazz said as the red ojama appeared on his field.
"Oh yeah! Let's party!" Ojama Red grins.
Ojama Red: 0000/ 1000
"And thanks to his special ability. When he's summoned to the field, I can summon up to 4 Ojama monsters from my hand in attack mode. So say hello to Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black!" Chazz said as the three Ojama brothers appeared at his side.
"Tada!" All three said.
Ojama x3: 0000/ 1000
"You've got to be kidding me, you're pinning the hopes of saving your little on these little twerps?" Slade mocks.
"That's right and you're about to see why. Sure, they look funny, smell really bad, nobody even likes them, and they never shut up." Chazz said.
"Whaa?!" All 5 Ojama brothers fall to the floor anime style.
"But these guys taught me something really important," Chazz said.
"We did?" All 5 Ojamas said not expecting that.
"Oh really? What's that?' Slade asks not interested.
"That good brothers love and support each other!" Chazz declares.
"So I'm not a good brother?" Slade asks.
"No way in hell. Which is why I don't feel bad playing this, Ojama Delta Hurricane! Do your thing, boys!" Chazz orders looking at Yellow, Green, and Black.
"You got it!" The trio said leaping into the air.
"You got this bros!" Ojama Red calls out.
"Wipe the floor with those overgrown lizards!" Ojama Blue calls out.
"Yellow!"
"Black!"
"Green!"
The three brothers meet in the middle and press their bikini-clad rears together. "Ojama Delta Hurricane!" Spinning quickly the three brothers hovered over the 4 dragons before a powerful explosion went off destroying Slade's entire field.
"What happened? They're all gone!" Slade gasps.
"A little thing called brotherly love. When Ojama Yellow, Green, and Black are on the field, Ojama Delta Hurricane can destroy all your cards." Chazz explains.
"Look who's weak now. Let's take him out!" The original Ojama Trio said at the same time.
"Couldn't agree more." Chazz grins.
"How? Your monsters don't have a single attack point." Slade points out.
"Not originally, but you're forgetting my field spell. You see when I have an Ojama monster on the field while Ojama Country is in play all monsters on the field have their attack and defense points switched." Chazz explains as all 5 Ojama Brothers glowed getting power from their home turf.
Ojama x 5: 1000/ 0000
"Oh no!" Slade gasps.
"How's that for weak?" Chazz smirks.
"Wait hold on!" Slade panics.
"Alright Slade, you're about to deal with one of the biggest nightmares I've had to endure being a Slifer Red. Ojamas! Dogpile!" Chazz orders as all 5 Ojamas run across the field and tackle Slade to the ground in a dogpile.
"No fair!" Jagger gasps.
"You go bye-bye!" Chazz declares.
Chazz: 1600
Slade: 0000
Cheering loudly, all the students were thrilled that Chazz won the duel and their school was saved.
"You know the cheer! Chazz it up!" Chazz calls out.
"Chazz it up! Chazz it up! Chazz it up! Chazz it up!" The school chants.
"He has his own chant?" Akiza asks amused.
"Oh yeah," Takeru said before noticing Slade and Jagger. "Hey Akiza, I know you're hesitant about using your powers at school but I think I might know something that can help get you some cheers."
"You do?" Akiza asks interested.
Leaning he whispered something in her ear making her grin.
"You imbecile! How could you lose this?!" Jagger snaps grabbing Slade by the collar.
"Relax Jagger, it's only one duel." Slade groans
"One duel? Just listen to them. This one duel has turned Chazz into a hero and a major pain for us!" Jagger gestures.
"I believe it's time for you two bozos to hit the road," Takeru said getting their attention. "Chazz won, that means you need to leave. Now."
"Why don't you make us?" Slade glares.
"You have no idea how much I wanted you to say that." Takeru grins.
Suddenly two vines shot out from down the hall and wrapped around Slade and Jagger's legs.
"What the?!" Both gasped before they were yanked off their feet and dragged out of the school building causing the school to cheer loudly.
From the hallway out of everyone's line of sight, Akiza had her duel disk out revealing she was the one who sent Slade and Jagger packing with her trap Ivy Shackles. As she listened to the cheering, she was speechless.
"I used my powers…and nobody's scared. They're happy?" Akiza said in disbelief.
"Oh, man. I wish I had a camera for that." Chazz laughs.
"That was awesome!"
"Serves them right!"
"How did that even happen?"
"Who cares? It got rid of those jerks!"
Slowly a smile forms on Akiza's face as she looks to Takeru.
"Maybe he's onto something after all." Akiza smiles opening up to being on the good side.
Meanwhile, in an office, we see the owner of Duel Academy being approached by an employee.
"Sir, we have news about the outcome regarding the duel the Princeton's made with you. They lost sir, the student they picked won despite their conditions."
"Of course, he won. Did you really think I would give Duel Academy to those two? They have a lot to learn about World Domination." The man mocks speaking from experience.
That night, at the Girl's dorm we see Miss Fontaine leading Akiza down the hall.
"It'll take a bit for the school to get you ready for classes again but until then don't hesitate to ask for help," Fontaine said.
"Thanks. So where are we?" Akiza asks as Miss Fontaine stops in front of a door.
"Your room." Miss Fontaine declares opening it to reveal her own dorm room with a bed, desk, dresser, and all the other essentials.
As Akiza walked in, she noticed a journal on the desk for her to write.
"Thanks, Miss Fontaine." Akiza smiles.
"You're welcome Akiza. Now get some rest." Miss Fontaine said closing the door and leaving Akiza to examine her new living quarters.
While she seemed to like it, someone else was having a less-than-enjoyable experience.
And once again at the Slifer Red Dorm, that someone was Chazz.
As Chazz lay in his bed, the Ojamas and all the other card spirits from the well were flying around and making so much noise.
"Quiet! All of you get out of here, now! I didn't sign up for this!" Chazz snaps.
"Aw come on boss. Those guys just want to be your friends. Now let's get some pizza. I call extra anchovies!" Ojama Yellow said.
"I don't want any anchovies! And I don't want any friends, or roommates, or pets, or…or…or whatever the hell you things are!" Chazz yells.
"In that case, just call us family." Ojama Yellow declares.
While Akiza was getting used to her new living arrangements, Chazz had a ways to go before he was used to his.
