Casino Park was not as bustling as it normally was due to a severe thunderstorm making its way towards the casino themed amusement park, with everyone, even the resident badniks, hiding away in the hotel as a gusty tornado was forming in the distance behind the mountains to the north, with thunder booming loudly as lightning flashed everywhere in the dark blue stormy sky, the storm clouds blocking off the sight of the bright white moon as the race courses, as well as the main adventuring path itself, were flooded with water.

"Remember when I blew up half the moon?" Dr. Eggman asked a random green colored Klagen badnik, who simply left Eggman to himself as the mad scientist frowned, looking down as his mustache drooped. "Neither does SEGA..."

"I don't understand. How could rain, let alone a thunderstorm, be able to impact this place!?" Silver The Hedgehog exclaimed as he moved his hands around, standing up on the red carpet in the hallway.

Rouge The Bat wrapped her left arm around Silver, moving her right hand in place. "This place may be high in the sky, but it's still at a height where we can all breathe oxygen. So of course it would still be affecting us here, the storm."

"Yes, Silver. Do you not recognize such a thing?" E-123 Omega commented as he was being held back by Shadow The Hedgehog from mauling the badniks that were patrolling the hallways.

It was then that the hotel suffered from a blackout, causing everyone to freak out as screams were heard everywhere. Several seconds later, a backup generator was started up, returning the power as everyone let out a sigh of relief.

"Ho ho ho. I think of every situation," Dr. Eggman Nega commented as he chuckled, his hands on his hips as he was on a balcony overlooking the entire first floor, as well as the second floor.
