The Casino Park was brightly neon lit as you would usually expect, although it was apparent that it had some glitches as all the electricity would flicker on and off.
"Not again..." Vector stated as he was trying to put up a new wooden sign on the right side of his Variety Shop, with Cream being at the metal counter as she placed her hands on her face.
"Oh, I do wish these lights would stop flickering. I get scared of the dark easily..." Cream stated as she began trembling.
"...I'd like to get some extremely rechargeable batteries. To go." Omega stated as he also noticed the odd occurrence, wanting to ensure some back up for himself in case he got caught up in a possible electrical surge.
Meanwhile, further ahead on the casino theme park, Charmy was buzzing around as happy as he usually is, with Espio and Rouge walking together as they were wondering what was up with the electrical glitches.
"Does this normally happen?" Rouge asked Espio as he had her right hand on her hip. "I mean, I visit this place more than enough times, but I never seen it act like this."
Espio just shook his head in response as he moved his hands around. "No. Usually it's a thunderstorm, but there hasn't been any traces of rain here for days. Or in this case, nights."
"Buzz on, buzz off!" Charmy stated as he collided into Espio and Rouge, knocking them down as he went spinning into a giant yellow neon sign, being electrocuted by it as all the power went off, leaving the entire amusement park in the dark as Charmy fell several stories below into the city that the Casino Park was hovering above.
Espio and Rouge got back up and looked down, to see the paralyzed Charmy screaming as he wasn't able to fly back up. The two looked at each other and sighed, with Espio holding onto Rouge's arms as Rouge began flapping her way down.
