Chapter 12

Narrator POV

A cool breeze weaved through the trees above two cloaked figures hiding outside a two-story house, specifically Alex Porto's house.

Dim light peered through the windows, illuminating the surrounding lawn they hid behind a bush as Alex's figure moved to the window to survey the property.

A nearby clock strikes twelve, the shadow moves back into the light away from the window. Billy Loomis gives his best friend Stu Macher a look telling him it's time.

Stu nods before pulling his ghost face mask completely down. Stu disappears keeping himself hidden as he tries to sneak into the house. Billy dials the number, making the phone ring echo throughout the house.

Alex was about to go to bed but halted In his tracks heading the phone rang. He doesn't recognize the number but answers anyway. "Hello?"

"Hello, Alex." Billy's deep disguised voice echoes through the phone. Alex looks around not recognizing the voice. "Do I know you?" He asks confused.

"No, but I know you."

"Is this Randy?" He questions no longer taking the call seriously as he continues to his room. He halts hearing a creak downstairs. "Who's Randy?"

" I have no time for games, I have practice in the morning." Before he could hang up his next words made his skin crawl. "Hang up on me and I'll get you just like your best friend Steven." The deep voice laughs seeing how he finally has his attention.

"What do you want from me?" Alex asks as he moves down the steps. Before Billy could respond, he spots Stu in the window looking down at him from the second floor.

He was in. Stu gives a quick head nod before disappearing out of Billy's sight. "I just wanna ask you a question." His voice says calmly. Billy notices Alex's shadow getting closer to the door and quickly speaks up.

"You sure you want to leave that way? I could be out here waiting for you."

Alex stops in his tracks growing confused he doesn't know where to go. "Are you gonna answer my question or not?" Billy asked growing impatient.

"Okay.. okay just please don't hurt me." He begs backing away from the door and taking a seat on the steps.

"You like drugging girls?" Alex looks around confused before answering.

"No?" he answers but sounds unsure.

There's a long pause before Billy responds "You don't seem sure of your answer."

"I'm sure. I would never touch a girl without their consent" Alex quickly responds. "Mhm sounds like you just lied to me Alex, I hate liars."

Alex's blood runs cold before he can respond something comes crashing through the window making glass go everywhere lightly cutting him.

Alex runs upstairs thinking he's avoiding the killer, as he rounds the corner ghost face appears jabbing Alex in the thigh with his knife.

Alex's scream echoed throughout the house making Billy smile. Alex doubles over in pain clutching his bloody thigh. He tries to back away but the ghost face only walks closer to him. "Please... I'm sorry." Ghost's face slowly tilts his head before gripping his, he ignores his cries as he smashes Alex's head three times into the wall next to them knocking him unconscious.

Stu pulls off his mask revealing his face. He then goes to the window signaling Billy to come in.

Billy quickly grabs a bag out of the bushes and heads to the house. He enters Alex's room to see Stu has him tied up in the exact way he tied up Steve.

"He didn't put up much of a fight," Stu says emotionless, taking the bag from my hands. "I'm sure he'll squirm as we break his fingers one by one," Billy replies putting on gloves while looking at Alex with hatred.

"Damn, I thought we were cutting them off?" Stu says whining holding up his knife.

Billy takes a deep breath before responding. "Fine you take one hand, I'll take the other."

Before Stu can reply he grips his head in his hand groaning at the pain before gripping the scar on his hand it almost felt like it was burning. "How have you dealt with this for so many years?"

Billy shrugs before looking at his scar. "You get used to the pain,"

"Well how long before it becomes painless?" he asks afraid of the question and he had every right to be. Years ago after a fight with his father, Billy found a knife and book buried in the woods of his backyard. The book contained curses and rituals, it never crossed Billy's mind to think that stuff like that is real but when he slices his palm by accident with the knife he starts to have visions of a life that is not his and kills that wasn't his own. Not long after Billy started to hear whispers.. a voice in his head, that was eerie and filled with the wrong intentions. As Billy dark thoughts grew the voice grew louder trying to take over. He quickly learned that killing sometimes kept the voice at bay but it was a bottomless pit that was forever hungry and looking for its next victim.

Billy shrugs not knowing the answer. "Read the book," Stu groans not liking the idea of reading. Billy's second phone suddenly rings revealing Amara's caller ID but Billy ignores it.

"Who's that," Stu questions pulling out a lighter. Billy answers not looking up from the bag. "Angel."

Stu pulls out hairspray testing if a lot comes out. "Why didn't you answer?"

Billy smacks his forehead before looking up at him. "We're in the middle of something." He says pointing to a passed-out, bleeding-out Alex.

"You can cause him pain but he's my kill," Billy says holding up his knife. Stu throws the hairspray upset. "Why should you get to? you have four kills already"

"This was my idea," Billy says bumping his shoulder as he walks by. "Plus she's my girlfriend."

Billy stops in his tracks when he hears Stu mumble, "She's not your girlfriend yet." Billy turns to him stepping closer. "Wanna run that by me again?"

Stu looks down at first but decides to step forward standing his ground. "Yeah I do, you're not the only one who cares for her."

Billy nods his head looking at Stu from head to toe, "Yeah I noticed that. "Both boy's eyes snap to Alex's hearing a low groan as he starts to move.

Billy turns back to Stu, "I don't share." He states putting on his mask

"Well, you're gonna have to learn," Stu smirking, replies putting on his mask.

They have a stare-off before turning their attention to Alex. Alex tries to scream but nothing comes out since he was gagged. Alex's eyes shift to something behind them that has them turning quickly. Alex's brother Jacob stood scared shitless as he stared at his brother tied up and the two figures staring back at him. No one moves for a few seconds. Billy looks at Stu and nods his head. Immediately understanding Stu walks after the boy making him run. He tries to run to his room and shut the door but Stu puts his boot through the foothold blocking it from closing.

Stu stops in his tracks when he sees a creepy amount of Polaroid pictures of Amara, some at school but most of them are at home, and looks like she did not know of them being taken. He finally turns his head to the boy who's pressing his body to the corner of the room. He observes his surroundings noticing duck tape and rope in the corner "Creepy fucker aren't you,"

In a flash, he's in front of the boy grabbing him by the back of his neck and dragging him back to the room. He tosses the boy to Billy's feet. "This little weirdo has dozens of pictures of Amara hanging in his room. Some of them she's naked,"

Jacob shakes even harder as a dark aura pours out from the man in front of him. He kneels shaking his head. "Please I wasn't gonna do anything to her,"

Stu scoffs looking down at him "I find that hard to believe, he had duct tape and rope," Stu pulls out his knife ready to strike the boy but a plan comes to Billy's mind that makes him tell him to wait.

"Knock him out and take him back to his room, he'll die just not today," Stu pouts but drags the boy back to his room before knocking him out. He comes back quickly rubbing his hands together excited about taking care of Alex.

Stu bends down to tape Alex's legs apart, when he's done he looks to Billy, who grabs a bottle of rubbing alcohol. He pours it over Alex's shorts as he squirms. Alex now starts crying making Stu lightly smacks his cheek twice as if saying take it like a man.

Billy ignites the lighter and sprays the hairspray near it causing a big flame to rise. The masked killers looked at each other nodding before looking back to Alex.

Alex squirms and cries as Billy hands the lighter and hair spray to Stu who jumps up and down a bit.

Billy steps closer wanting a front-row seat as Stu ignites the flame before spraying his angles trying to make sure he gets his target.

Alex cries more knowing where he's aiming, Stu's finger presses down on the spray making the flame instantly ignite catching his shorts and private area on fire.

The gag was now out of Alex's mouth as he screamed bloody murder feeling pain everywhere.

Both killers watch as he cries out screaming and struggling in his seat, as the flame grows bigger. Alex passes out from the pain making, Billy signals to Stu to put the flame out.

Stu throws a cold bucket of water over Alex. Alex jumps awake groaning and coughing. He tries to plead for his life one final time as Billy forces his fist to unclench. Billy ignores him as he grabs his pliers bringing them up to one of Alex's fingers.

Screams of pain and agony from Alex went on throughout the night. Both boy's phones rang twice but they were unable to hear it over the screams of their new victim.
