"Quick question?" Sonic asked while running alongside Vector, the two animals dashing away from a bunch of colorful bingo balls with big numbers printed on them.
"Go ahead." Vector responded as he was focused on keeping his yellow neckglace around his scaly green crocodile neck. "It's not like we got anything better to do..."
"...Why are we running from the giant rolling balls in the first place?" Sonic pointed out as the balls were coming in faster, causing himself to go faster as he grabbed Vector by the arm.
Vector rubbed his chin, shrugging at Sonic while they dashed past several colorful vibrant lights advertising different locations near the Casino Park. "That's a good question."
Sonic and Vector didn't pay attention to the road twisting from the red carpet they were on, causing the two to collide into the neon lit wall in front of them as they laned on their backs. Luckily the balls of bingo with numbers on them rolled away down the road, leaving the two to be unscathed, which proved to be a relief for them.
"Well now that we're safe, what do you want to do?" Sonic asked.
Vector stretched his arms. "Well I heard there's a lot of money on the bingo tables nearby... let's go check them out!"
"Wait, Vex!" Sonic shouted as he watched Vector head to the nearby casino tables, sighing as he shook his head and dashed after him.
"All right Rouge, I think you spent enough time getting all these jewels..." Shadow groaned as he had his arms folded, watching Rouge winning a large amount of shiny gems from the slot machines.
"Oh Shadow I can't help it! I love shiny things!" Rouge exclaimed as she stuffed the jewels into her bosom. "They make me feel so complete."
"I never heard you say anything at all like that." Shadow pointed out as he eyed the nearby soda machine, itching for something to drink. "Well in any case, don't take too long."
"Pfft, you know I won't." Rouge scoffed as she accidentally pulled the lever too hard, with it causing the slot machine to topple down on her.
Shadow turned around, only to see people eying him. The black hedgehog noticed that security was called, causing him to bolt away as he didn't want to get himself into anymore trouble than he already was.
