Branch told Poppy of the plan for John and Val getting married and she was so excited to help out with it. "Does this mean we need to make another pod? Or just move Val's? Or would she rather stay near her parents?" Poppy asked in excitement. "She said she hasn't talked to her parents since she found out and told them that she was pregnant with me." Branch told Poppy, not realizing the weight of what he had just told her. "What? Who are these trolls? I need to have a serious conversation with some Putt Putt Trolls." Poppy said, determined. "They aren't Putt Putt Trolls. They are they Thunderstucks. They've lived in the village for the past twenty years." Branch explained to her. Poppy's mood quickly darkened. These trolls have lived in the village, known about Branch, and just left him? That is NOT OK! "Poppy it's fine we have all the family that we need." Branch said, almost reading her mind. "But Branch. I just. How could anyone hurt you like that? It's not right." Poppy said, sounding a little defeated. "You're right but I have you and I practically forget my hardships because all I can think about when I see you is a great future together." Branch said, causing Poppy to smile as he held her in his arms. "How is it you know just the right thing to say?" Poppy asked, but Branch did not answer. All he did was lean down and kiss her. Poppy melded into him with her hands on his chest.

Branch reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and looked at the pink queen in his arms. "As much as I would love to stay like this, we need to finish looking through this stuff." Branch and Poppy were looking through Branch's old storage room where he put all the old family stuff that meant a lot to him. One of which was his mother's or should he say grandmother's wedding dress. "I found it!" Branch said a little excited. Poppy rushed over to see the dress and it was absolutely beautiful. "Val is going to love this. She is going to be so surprised and so is John." Poppy said, helping him carry it out of the storage area. "Hopefully it fits." Branch said a little worried. Poppy gave him a smile telling him not to worry about it. As they reached the living area they were met with all the women of the family. Sitting in the living room. "Found what you were looking for." Delta asked to see Branch and Poppy carry a large box. "Yes actually. Val, have you told them yet?" Branch asked. She just nodded at him. She thought keeping the whole thing a secret till the last minute was a little silly but she got John on board to at least tell the girls since they could get the boys to go and be dressed somewhat nicely. "Ok great because I actually have an early wedding present for you. It's something I saved from the Troll Tree and I think you should wear it today." Branch said placing the box infront of Val. Who just looked at the others who clearly didn't know what was going on either.

When Val opened the box she was met with a white dress. It wasn't until Barb said something that Val was able to catch on. "Wait, Branch is that mom's dress?" Barb asked, looking over the fabric. Branch just nodded. If he was being honest he had almost forgotten he had the thing. Val was so touched at the gester but she wasn't sure if she could even take such a thing. "I can't Branch. This is too special." Val said as she hugged her son. "You are kidding right Val. You have to wear it." Barb said, insisting. "At least try it on darling." Delta said. Val took the dress and with Poppy's help she put the dress on and it fit like a glove. She looked perfect in it. Val had never once thought that she would be wearing an actual wedding dress on her big day or that her big day would even come. But she looked beautiful. She exited Branch's room and showed everyone the dress on her and they all came to the same conclusion. "Ok there is no doubt now. You have to wear that dress." Brandy said with tears in her eyes. Carol just smiled and nodded back at her.

Val almost had tears in her eyes. She felt so loved at that moment. She just wished her parents would feel the same. "Thank you Branch. I love it." She said to her son as she went to hug him again and planted a kiss on his temple. "You're welcome mom. You deserve something special on your big day." He told her. "Branch I am not sure if I have asked this yet but would you be the one to walk me down?" Val asked her son. Knowing there wasn't anyone else she would rather have by her side at this moment. "Of course mom." Val had never felt happier than she did at that moment. "Ok I am going to change out of the dress for now but we still have a lot to do before the wedding today." Val said with Poppy in tow to help her out of said dress. When she was out of the dress and turned to Poppy. "Thank you for everything that you have done for Branch. You do not understand just how grateful that despite not having his family there like he should have he late least had you. That does ease my heart a bit to know that." She told the pink royal as she hugged her just feeling very emotional. Poppy was at first taken back by the statement before she returned the hug. "It was my pleasure. Branch is an amazing guy." Poppy told her boyfriend's mother. "That he is." Val agreed.

John came bursting into the bunker with exciting news. He told his brothers about the wedding finally coming to Val's train of thought about how ridiculous he was being about keeping the whole thing a secret. Also if they were going to pull this off she would need their help as well. Spruce was handling the food along with his parents. Suki and Clay were setting up the venu and music. Holly was helping Biggie set up the video cameras. Brandy, Carol, and Barb were going to be getting the kids ready when the time came. Floyd and Riff said that they would handle the cake and flowers. John had a surprise for his bride to be about where they were going to go for their honeymoon. He truly wanted all of this to be special for Val because she deserved the world in his eyes.

"Rhonda is ready for the honeymoon and we should be ready to travel tonight after the reception." Shouted to everyone in the bunker. Branch was the closest on to his father and the news for some reason hit him like a ton of bricks and he didn't know why. With all the noise that John had made drew both Poppy and Val out of Branch's room. "John, I am so excited to go and travel a bit." Val said as she made her way to her husband-to-be. Branch tried not to panic. He knew. He knew that when his dad said that they were going to leave that it wouldn't be forever. It was going to be like Barb and Flyod when they took their separate honeymoons. So why was he feeling like this? He had to hld it together. He couldn't ruin their big day, but he felt like he couldn't breathe. Somehow only Poppy was able to catch onto Branch's panic. "Hey Branch, I needed to talk to you about something in the other room. Excuse us." Poppy said getting Branch out of the spotlight as quickly as possible. Once they had made it to Branch's bedroom the two sat on the bed as Poppy tried to help branch steady his breathing. "Poppy please just tell me that they are coming back. Right? I know they are but please just tell me that they are." Branch said in a voice that broke her heart. "Of course they are." Poppy said, pulling him into her arms as he finally let the tears he had been fighting to fall. "Why am I feeling like this?" Branch said, hating that these dark negative emotions were clouding his mind yet again. "Because no one heals from twenty years of pain over night and no one expects that of you. It's ok to feel like this, ok. I got you." Poppy said resuring him that he is no longer alone to fight his grey clouds that fogged his mind.

They stayed like that for a while until Branch's panic attack calmed down. By that time everyone was ready for the wedding. Val had Carol and Barb help her with the dress, her hair, and makeup and was ready to go. When Branch saw his mom he was taken back with how beautiful she looked. "You look amazing mom." He told her. "Thank you sweetie and you look very handsome in that suit." Val told her some as she saw that he and Poppy had changed into their formal attire once more. Val could not believe that she was wearing such an important item of the Timberlake family and at the same time it felt right. Like after Sapphire was still here a part of this day. Getting to be with her oldest child on his wedding day. Of course Branch had first asked his father if it would be alright if Val was to wear the dress today and Ozzy said it was the best idea he's heard. Val is truly a member of this family wedding or not.

"Are you ready?" Branch asked his mom, getting ready to walk her down the aisle. "More than ever." Val said. He took her arm and Poppy started to sing As the two walked down the aisle. John did not know that Branch had saved let alone gave his mother's old wedding dress to Val but he was happily surprised when he saw her in it. She looked beautiful and it brought tears of joy to see her wear it. Barb and filled in the rest of the family about the dress when they had arrived but it didn't make the impact of seeing it hit any less. They all missed Sapphire dearly but she would have loved that Val was wearing her dress. As Poppy sang slowly everyone started to join in to the song. Singing about love and family.

Started off a team

Ballin' 'til we get the ring

We wanna compete but it's the weekend

We should link and party

'Til I need some ice on my knees

Chillin' with my niece, cousins, aunties

Come on everybody

What you bringin' to the potluck? I'm excited

Everybody got a spot, love, you're invited

Hate is just lost love, so they hidin'

Never know, try it, you just might like it

Val's heart swelled with joy and love for the family she was now officially a part of. That after all of the pain from the past, of the family that left her, and of the loss in her life. She is celebrating with the family she has gained back. She would go through all of it again if it meant she got to be righthere at this moment. With her son and the man she loves.

First, it was all love

Hands up superstar love

That you can have it, you can have it all, love

But then you took it, took it all, love, all love

Turn it up louder

Sing along, get the crowd up

But then you took it all, love

Then forgot all about us, but it's all love (oh, yeah, look)

It's all love

When she reached the altar Branch stood next to his father and handed him the rings and he could see the tears in both of his parents' eyes. They said their vows and no one had a dry eye in the room because this was a moment they all had been waiting for for a long time now. Soon the newlyweds first dance was beginning and John and Val could not look more happy at that moment. John's brothers and sisters wher so happy for the two. Soon other couples started to join in including Branch and Poppy. Soon they were interrupted by Val and John asking if they could cut in. John took Poppy's hand and Val took Branch's.

Val danced with her son as the sky grew darker. "Branch, thank you for everything that you and Poppy have done for us. We are truly grateful." Val said, forcing Branch to blush a little bit. "Well don't tell Poppy that I told you but she was planning on surprising you when you got back from your honeymoon by moving your pod to be with everyone else's." Branch told her. He still felt a little uneasy about the fact that they would be taking Rhonda to travel a little bit but he was happy that his parents would finally be getting their time together. Just as long as they came back. "I wouldn't have expected anything else. When are you going to ask that girl to marry you?" Val said jokingly. "Sooner than you think." Branch told her, causing her to become stund. "Oh sweety I am so happy for you. I love Poppy." Val told her son giving him one final hug for the day before releasing him to go back to Poppy.

John and Poppy were also having a conversation of their own. "Thank you Poppy. For helping Branch with everything today. You two make an amazing team." John said, in a slightly suggestive tone. "Yeah we really do." Poppy said, looking over John's shoulder to see Branch happy with his mom. "You know I haven't seen this happy before and I hope you know that he panicked when you told him that you and Val would be traveling. I had to remind him that you two were planning to come back." John was taken back by this new information. He had thought that things had gotten better between Branch and them. "Sometimes it doesn't matter how good things are between one another. Old feelings die hard. He spent twenty years waiting for his family to come back. That doesn't go away easily. I'm not telling you to feel bad or to cancel your trip. Branch would never forgive me if I did that. Just resure him that you will be coming back. He may not act like it but he sometimes just needs that to help him feel better about certain things." Poppy said, giving the older troll advice. He just smiled down at his future daughter-in-law. "I will. Thank you Poppy for always looking out for him." Poppy just smiled back.

Rain started to pour on the reception and everyone was scattering towards the bunker. Branch made his way over to Poppy. "Hey, we should probably head inside." Poppy said. "In a moment there is just one thing I just have to do first and I can not wait any longer to do it." Branch said in a serious tone. Poppy thought that this is it. It was finally happening. He was going to propose, but he didn't instead he just pulled her in for the most intimate kiss they both have ever had. They stayed like that for a while before finally pulling apart for air. Branch then grabbed Poppy's arm and ran them both back to the bunker with the rest of the family to try and get dry from the rain.

"I was wondering what was taking you two so long." John joked as he saw the Branch and Poppy were the last ones to escape the world. "Hey Branch, your mom and I have something we want to talk to you about. Could you step away for a sec?" JD asked his son. "Sure dad." Branch said following him into his own bedroom to see his mom already sitting on his bed. "So what was it that you needed to talk to me about?" Branch asked as he was pulled into a hug by both of his parents. "Branch we are so sorry. We did not think about how you would feel when we started talking about leaving for the honeymoon." Val said. "Poppy said something didn't she?" Branch asked embarrassed. "Of course she did. Branch we are coming back in a week and we just wanted to let you know that we will always come back to you." John said looking his son straight in the eyes. "I know. It was silly to think that you weren't I know that." Branch said trying to deflect but his parents would not let him. "No. Your feelings were valid. You've been through serious abandonment to not have issues and we are part to blame for that, we know that. Those negative thoughts aren't just going to stop or go away, but let us be there to help keep them at bay. But you need to let us know ok." Val told her son. Branch could only nod. Feeling seen by his parents. "Thank you." Branch said doing his best not to cry. "Of course. We will always be here from this moment on. That's a promise we do not extend to break. Also your mom said that it was your idea for her to wear the dress. Nice touch." John said, giving his son and wife a hug. John could not help but smile at the fact that he was finally able to say that. His son and wife.

Thank you for all the love and support as we come closer to the end of this fanfic for a second time. Hopefully it will all work out in the end. I do not have a lot to say but for those of you who have been waiting for a Broppy Proposal you have to wait just a little bit longer, sorry. Branch is still healing and still needs help to remeber that he is not alone anymore. Hope y'all have enejoyed this chapter and until next time. Bye-bye.
