Chapter 8: Massacre
It was great and sunny day in Brighton. Todd was in front of his house, ready to sign very important document. He waited for this moment for years, to finally leave this boring town.
''Are you sure about this, Mr. Mortenson?'' Candace Green asked.
''YEP! After 2 days I won't need that old place anymore!'' Todd said with a huge smile.
Candace was confused because she knew Todd. He was aways grumpy and sad, but now he was like the most joyful adult she has ever seen.
''Alright, sign here!'' Candace said, as she reached the documents to Todd.
Before Todd could sign anything, a little red ball hit his arm causing him to drop his pen. he was confused and looked around, there was a strange Thai girl he never saw before.
''Oh, sorry! It was... An accident!'' Molly lied.
''No worries, kiddo! But be careful next time, okay?'' Todd said, as he kicked the ball back to Molly.
He grabbed his pen back and did the unthinkable... He signed the papers, selling his house. Molly was just standing there, watching in shock. After few days her forever friend will be gone. She tried everything to make him remember her, but nothing was working.
''Well, there is a new college boy and his mother that are looking to move here, so I better contact them'' Candace said.
''Meh, I'm sure they'll like the house. It may be old, but it is great!'' Todd said, as he grabbed his suitcase.
''They sure will!''
''Ha, there is a smile!'' Todd said, as he noticed Candace's smile, causing her to blush.
His plan was to stay in one cheap motel for those few days until it's time for his flight to Adia. He looked at his house one last time and started to walk away to the center of Brighton.
''That's it, Todd! No more misery, no more mistakes, no more depression! Just 2 days and you'll travel the world with your best friend. MY LIFE CAN FINALLY BEGIN!'' Todd was talking to himself.
Molly was just standing there and watching in shock. It was over... There is not getting him back... Scratch is gone... He'll never remember her...
''What's the matter, Molly... Another trauma we're having?''
Molly turned around and saw her nightmare cat. She had those awful eyes and sharp fangs...
''No... Leave me alone!''
Molly started to step back and tear up... While the cat was growing larger. There was nothing Molly could do to stop her... So the cat jumped at Molly and killed her.

''SCRATCH!''
Molly woke up in the same room she and Hikari ''played''. Hikari started to wake up, while Molly sighed in relief when she realized this was just a nightmare.
''M-Molly...''
''Good morning, koibito!'' Molly greeted Hikari.
Hikari laughed and blushed... But then froze when she realized where they are.
''WAIT, ARE WE STILL HERE?!''
Molly and Hikari ran off the room... It was morning, they really spent the whole night here. All the employees drinking at the bar and the guard smiled at the girls.
''Morning, lovebirds...''
''DUDE, WHAT THE HECK? YOU SAID ONLY FOR AN HOUR, WHY DID YOU LEAVE US THERE?!'' Hikari asked, angry.
''Your friend here was so high, she couldn't even walk straight, while you were too tired to even realize what's happening? Don't get me wrong, I would've normally kicked you out, but... You both were sleeping so adorable'' The owner said with an evil smile.
Both Molly and Hikari were creeped out and walked away on the street. The sun hit Molly so hard, she hissed like a vampire. Hikari couldn't believe this just happened, but this wasn't the worst part... Her dad was waiting for them with a mad look on his face.
''YOUNG LADY, BOTH OF YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!''
''Oh heck...''
It was in that moment Molly realized... She messed up.

Abigail, Sheela and Kat were all laughing and walking around Brighton's woods. It was perfect day for a walk outside.
''And in the next day... ALL THE PATIENTS WERE GONE!'' Kat said with scary face.
She was telling a horror story about a hospital were in just one day all the people disappeared in it. It sure spooked Abigail, but Sheela just laughed.
''8/10 for the idea... 4/10 for the story'' Sheela laughed.
''Oh I didn't make it up, that actually happened many years ago! In fact, that hospital is very deep in the woods''
''Pfff, like I believe you...''
''WHAT? Ohhh, bet!''
''Woah, girls! We aren't... Actually gonna try to find that place, right?'' Abigail asked, scared.
''Of course we'll try! TO PROVE KAT WRONG!''
''Ha, 10 bucks that hospital is real!'' Kat laughed.
''DEAL! Lead the way!''
Abigail didn't like this at all, that story really spooked her out. Not that she had a choice, Sheela just grabbed her hand and dragged her, while Kat was leading to the hospital from her story. It was really deep in the woods, so they'll walk for a while...

Officer Kaito was driving his daughter and Molly. He called Molly's parents... Sharon was shocked and mad as hell.
''I can't believe it! Under-aged s*x, drug abuse... This club isn't even officially registered yet!''
''Sorry dad...'' Hikari said, ashamed.
''Ugh, what's the big deal? It's not like we were doing it with boys, we're not gonna get pregnant! Plus, it's not my fault ''the special one'' feels so good!'' Molly said, annoyed.
''WHAT? Molly, I told you not to touch that item on the menu! Dear Gosh, I can't take my eyes off you for even 5 minutes! Where is your common sense?!'' Hikari asked, angry.
''Gone... Like my childhood''
''I've heard enough, I'LL HAVE A LONG TALK WITH YOU, HIKARI! And I'm sure your parents will do the same with you, Molly!''
Hikari didn't say anything, but Molly was getting more and more mad... So mad, to the point where she could barely control her ghost powers.
''I'm just trying to ENHAPPIFY myself, officer! All my life, I've been raised to make everyone else happy, but does anyone in this town try to make ME HAPPY, or do the right thing out of kindness of their hearts? NO!''
''Molly, you call THIS happiness? Trust me, once this drink completely clears off, you'll be more miserable. Do you have any idea how many teens I have seen to ruin their lives on drugs?'' Officer Kaito asked, angry.
Molly was on the verge to snap. Both because of how annoyed she was, and because that ''special'' ingredient was still in her system. She didn't even want to imagine what would happen when she gets back home...

It was now afternoon. The three girls were standing in front of a huge abandoned hospital building. Sheela's jaw dropped from shock, Abigail was scared, while Kat had the most joyful and mocking grim ever.
''TOLD YA!''
''Ugh... Whatever...'' Sheela said, as she gave Kat 10 bucks for the lost bet.
Abigail was looking at the building with terrified eyes. She didn't know why, but she was getting goosebumps just by looking at it.
''This doesn't make any sense, how could so many people disappear over a night?'' Sheela asked.
''That's the scary part... No one knows''
''We have to find out!'' Sheela said, as she walked towards the door.
''WAIT! G-Girls... We have to go back to Brighton before the sun goes down!'' Abigail said.
''Awwwww, someone is scared! What's the matter, Abi? Are you a chicken?''
''I'M NOT A CHICKEN! I... I just don't think it's a good idea to go there...''
''Come on, that place is abandoned! What could possibly happen?'' Sheela asked.
''I... I just-
''It's official, we're going inside!'' Kat said, as she grabbed Abigail's arm and dragged her to the building.
Abigail didn't want to go there. She just knew something bad will happen, something she'll regret later. Sheela kicked the door with all the power she had and it opened.
There was a huge register room. Even though it was sunny, insde was very dark. All the windows were barricaded with planks, there was very awful smell... And there was a huge puddle of strange red liquid in the corner.
''Woah... What is-
''TERRIFYING, HORRIFIC, DISGUSTING?!''
''AWESOME!'' Kat said.
Abigail was confused. Why... Why the hell are they so amazed by an abandoned hospital? The place looked like it's from a horror game, she really wanted to just go back home.
''We have to film this!'' Sheela said, as she grabbed her phone.
''Girls...''
''Alright, let's look around!'' Me and Sheela will be at the first floor, while you Abi will be on the second!''
''HUH? WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?!''
''Because it's time for you to stop being such a scared CHICKEN! Come on, there is no one here, nothing bad will happen'' Sheela said.
Before Abigail could protest, Sheela and Kat already walked in one of the dark halls of the hospital. She was scared of the dark, so she just grabbed her phone, turned on the light and went to the second floor... She didn't even know what she is supposed to look for.
Sheela and Kat separated in different rooms. Kat was looking around in the halls, while Sheela wanted to check out something that looked like an intensive Care Unit. It was a small room with many beds, some cabinets and a door in the end of the room.
While she was looking around... Something tapped on the door, causing Sheela to jump back. There was something in the other room. Little scared, she got closer... Another tap. She reached out her hand and opened it... There was a little cute puppy.
''Awwww, what a cutie!''
Weird how a small puppy was in such a weird and creepy place. Sheela wanted to pet it... But something fall behind her. She turned around, but couldn't tell what exactly was that sound. She wanted to look at the dog again... And the moment she turned again, there was a woman with curly grey hair, grey eyes... And terrifying smile.
''WHAT THE!''
Sheela fall on the ground, while the woman was smiling and drooling... And jumped at her and stuck her sharp teeth in Sheela's neck.
Kat was looking around, amazed by the place. She already took so many pictures of it, she couldn't wait to show them to her parents.
''AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!''
Kat got jumpscared by the sudden scream...
''Sheela?''
Kat followed the screams to a little opened door... She looked through it... And saw how a woman was taking Sheela's organs out. Without wasting a single second, she ran away.
She dropped her phone and couldn't see a thing in the dark hallway. She only saw the bathrooms, so she ran there and hid. While she was crying, she tried to call Abigail... But saw how one of the stalls opened... There was a man with grey hair and grey eyes, waiting for her... And the man jumped at her and killed her.
Abigail was already at the first floor. She couldn't stand being at the second alone, so she really wanted to find the other girls and go back to Brighton.
''Sheela? Kat? Please, can we leave now?''
The bathroom door behind her opened... And a man with blood on his hands and mouth appeared... And he just smiled and stared at her with his predatory grey eyes.
Abigail... Froze. She didn't take her eyes off him, she was just standing there. The man made one step... That step was enough for her to ran away to the exit.
''WHAT THE HELL, WHAT THE HELL, WHAT THE HELL?!''
She was already in front of the exist... But it was locked. She was kicking and trying to open the doors, but nothing happened. She continued to try... But Abigail heard a very deep growl behind her.
''Run... Makes it more fun for me...''
She didn't even turn around, she ran to the other hallway for her life... But ended in a dead end.
''NO! NO, NO, NO!''
She tried to open some of the rooms around her, but the doors were locked. In front her... There was the woman with grey eyes... The man with grey eyes... And a black man with grey eyes, wearing gloves with knives on the fingers.
''Tasty, tasty FLESH!''
''NO, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME, NOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!''
He jumped at her with his knife gloves... And killed her...
