Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: With these chapters it gives a surprise look at what happened after the trilogy, in the Mighty Ducks movies, as instead of them being destroyed. And falling apart, Bombay quits the offer here, at the Goodwill Games and trains the next generation. As the pre academy unit in Atlantic City, is none other then the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks. Movie 3, and both sides of the team combine together as one now here finally.
As Wesley Crusher becomes the best of friends with the team, and he and his unit join forces with them and their entire team and give the Hawks, who are the Edina Hawks. From the movie trilogy, a real run for their money now, as the year goes by, as the teams at the academy are created in the added sports now, as the years go by here. Taking on the names of the Districts, the Atlantic City Knights and Edina Red Hawks.
But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 111: New Futures And Fresh Starts VI: Time's Arrow and Recovery VI

"And that's it right now, the episode ends after she gets sent home, as I go on living my life free of them, David is now their archeologist, Sha're was cloned, the only one that got captured was Skaara, Sha're was a clone, Dave contacted me here on the ship. And for some assistance as a result here now, but there it is, that's the entire episode, same as the end of the movie. Only now I'm free to live my life free of MIS officers now." he said and they all nodded smiling.
"Next question is what is do they have here, delusions of grandeur, paranoid schizophrenia what exactly." Landry asked and he nodded. "Being behind enemy lines that long, I know what I do have to what I don't, that do have is stress recovery. And from being in enemy territory this long, suffering a single thing, Dr. Rosen saw in one time. One time and place right now, when you were preteens." he said and Rosen leaned back in his chair then, realizing what he meant.
"You're a CIA operative, protecting your code key from the Americanized version of the KGB, and they got captured now. And by the…, by the External Documentation and Counterespionage Service." he said and Daniel nodded. "They're refusing to see it as anything but what they see it to be, here's what happened during the keeper." he said and Jacob nodded gently. "This should be real good right now if you caught it." he said and he nodded.
"Jack, we should go back to the planet and free those people." he said and they heard a snooty tone to Jack's voice. "I'm not sure it's any of our business, frankly." he said to him, and they paled, as it was interfere when it suits them. But when people really needed it, they stood aside. "Yeah just like an NID agent, you interfere when it suits you, but when people really need your help, you stand aside." Landry said sternly, knowing he'd started shaking in fear then.
"I concur: Who are we to judge how someone on another planet lives?"Hammond said to him, quoting his double and they started shaking in fear, realizing how bad this looked now for them. "But the people are in those machines under false pretenses: The Keeper is lying to them about what's outside." he said and Janet also paled, as she added in her own two cents, and then realized she sounded like them, in cruel detachment of their acquaintances.
"Okay, if, if I may weigh in here…all evidence points to the fact that the machines are clinically sustaining those people. Removing them could be like taking a patient off life support when he still needs it." she said and Hammond leaved forward on the table. "Here it comes, this was why you said that on the recording, orders never make sense here. And they're convinced we're not ourselves, yeah okay baby, point taken." Hoffman said and he nodded,
"Sounds to me like we have to get more information to make this decision, folks." Davis said and Teal'C answered that bemused then. "The only way to gain more information would be to venture back into the artificial world of P7J-989." he said and Davis nodded. "This is not going down well right now, issues in the rabbit hole." Heather said and Saxon nodded. "Or getting trapped in there, said your own nightmares." he said and she nodded.
"That's actually what this is, they been on life support so long, someone had to come there eventually, to get them out of coma, said someone turned out to be me. And my saying this, resulted in an Exodus that had him freaking out, so though I did a good deed, had a flashback. Shyla was two weeks later, the anniversary of my parents accident." he said and they nodded in understanding. "Followed by said cave in, scaring us out of our wits." Carson said to him then.
"Then that's exactly what I want you to do." Hammond said and Jack watched himself lean forward. "Get ready, the smart ass complex just shot forward now and dad never takes insubordination well if there's a case of unsuspecting questioning of his orders. Even if they never make sense, we're trapped in there already and one of the others now. Are trying to get us to distract him, so they can go free here." Daniel explained and they all nodded, bemused.
"By showing them the way out of the bloody chairs, you showed them the way out of said chairs, and conservatory and they followed you out, okay that works." Plummer said with a bemused smile, and Hammond chuckled at Daniel's creativity, to come up with a way out that didn't involve violence, again, in their eyes. "Uhhhh…General. Without meaning, this time, to sound like a smart-ass, are you cracked?" he asked and he hid a chuckle.
"Folks, I don't need to tell you how valuable a resource this planet could be for us. Their technology is far beyond our own: the kind of technology that justifies this entire program." he said and Colin nodded in agreement. "All joking aside, we need that to create holodecks to train, making the training a little more real." Jacob said and Jack swallowed hard. "Yeah like creating holodecks for training." he said and Sam went white in shock.
That she never thought of that. "I saw that we're standing on a gold mine, in military and department service training in the 911 services. That if we ever figured out to do this in creating the 3D world, outside our heads and create an artificial environment to train on." Daniel said and Jacob nodded in approval, and she sighed, realizing his eyes were faster to catch it. "Oh what jealous once again, we can use this technology to create better training platforms here."
"Without getting stuck in the system right now?" Landry said sternly, seeing it she'd have gone pale, at the utterly primitive ways, her attempts to bring back technology. Now could result in hurting or killing someone, compared to Daniel's ways, by looking at what could be useful to what couldn't. "Whoa hold on, you thinking we could use this to create better training, holodecks?" Daniel asked him then and Landry looked at Daniel and he nodded to him then.
"There's something I would say say now son, convince you that this technology you found, with the right help, could be converted into holodecks, you side with me, and find an alien grouping that can help build a simulator just like a holodeck, before mass producing them." Hammond said and Daniel smiled and the quartet all paled then. "I think she penetrated my most inner thoughts, did she know Sha're was on Abydos, or not." he said and Hammond nodded then
"This is the part they never wanted you to see now, as I realized what he was trying to tell me here, this was not him. Now doing the talking, but the leader of the residents, a woman no older then you. And realized, if we helped these people, we have a technology, we can synthesize holodecks from, creating the training rooms on board the ship." he said and they all nodded. "Yeah I call that helpful, we can synthesize holodecks this way." Carson said to that gently then.
"Exactly that Dr. Jackson, this technology could be quite useful, we need a way to train our recruits. And without it being found out upon, by officers without the right security clearance, train inside that holodeck, as the recruits pass each exercise." he said to him."General Hammond, going back into that world could be very hazardous." she said to him at that. "Well that says jealousy." Hoffman said sternly and he nodded to him.
"They're snatching technology, without bothering to learn how it works, Reg's double realized it, as he was trying to get me to realize it now. His technology could be useful for better training platforms, not in the way of sticking someone in the chair. But rather creation of holodecks now, and we got a way to train the kids now too finally." Daniel said and he nodded. "Your idea works better, creation of holodecks, and escape rooms this way." he said and Daniel smiled then.
"Yeah, but stage 5, it just left the holodeck and ended up in the hallway, we test each team, during the foothold test, but with the way I'm training blue and green quadrants. They're going to blow away Edina." Daniel said and the 10 pre academy cadets exchanged smiles. "Alright guys, don't be so cocky, one mistake, you blow it, now remember here, mind over matter." He said and the teams nodded, as Picard exchanged smiles with Brand, at his gentle manner.
"If this was their world yeah, but it's not, we're talking creating holodecks from this technology, a way to train. And without it getting out of hand, bringing us to show's generation, TNG, it's for training. Like if the system lords created better versions laser tag guns, only meant to stun this is the same thing." Daniel said and Hammond nodded. "Agreed, that technology could be quite useful, it's worth the risk and with that."
"I fail to see how: It's an artificial environment, can you actually die in there?" he asked and she started getting tense. "Not unless the damn system broke down." Picard said in response sternly, as they heard her remark. "We don't know." Sam said and Jack quickly said it. "I'm a little more concerned about being trapped there, Sir." he said, his voice slowly raising and he said it gently. "You got out the last time." he said to him gently at that.
"There is no guarantee we will be able to extract ourselves again." Teal'C said to him then and he nodded. "Okay, I'll tell you what: if you don't come out in one week, I'll send in SG-2 to pull you out." he said to him and then went further to this then. "Besides, what's so bad about being in there? It sounds to me like you can experience. All sorts of fascinating things.." he said and Jack nodded sarcastically to him as he said it then.
"You mean, like watching old friends and…" he said and Daniel stepped in."Parents." he sakd and Jack finished it. "Family getting killed over and over again?" he said and Hammond jumped that. "Alternate realities, Charlie was dead in two realities, we get one last mission together this year, as I'm taking that offer. That I can resurrect Charlie on the holodeck, and play back the Abydos mission, old memories, better then the last 2.5 years again now."
"Without the vocal and physical abuse, as you never needed the drugs, I was on a cocktail meant to control the symptoms, of having her here." he said and they nodded in understanding. "We really don't blame you for that, but O'neill there clearly never expected your inner werewolf to beat the crap out of 3 people, you been abused enough already, but you had your last 9 good years under me and the Professor now, but you got me again." Hoffman said to that gently.
"And with you around, my inner wolf went cub again, so in this case, is fresh start and I'm with papa bear in between missions. Although I'll just try not to get smart with you, in my case that never changed, in these sessions, never go with the P.C. answer. Or he's going to let you have it, trust me." he said and Lou and Dixon nodded, as they tried to hide a smile. "And keep it up with me and I will right now, wise guy, you're not debating your need for rest here now, in truth."
"If I did this to you all the time, you could never resist, when you were a teenager, before your choice in sports, but school, practice, home, homework in that order during the school year. Every time you tried to resist your need for sleep, as a young teenager, I left you have it." he said smiling, knowing that's exactly what he was like with the younger man. "Or seeing Major Kawalsky alive and well? Who knows, Colonel, maybe you could even see your son."
"Dr. Jackson, perhaps you could visit the ancient worlds you've always wondered about." he said and Daniel nodded, just gapes at him, disbelievingly. "And there's a clue, by converting the chairs into a holodeck, I time travel to another generation, century, time frame. Enjoy my job again, and he sensed this, reading my mind, since he knew that this loser crossed the line, before Cassandra." he said to this and they nodded gently to him at that remark
"You can go anywhere your memories or imaginations want to go." he said and the four of them exchange looks, before Jack looks at him. "Okay. That's enough." he said and stood up as he rises from his chair and goes over to the Hammond and bends over him. He gently pulls the General's ear forward to peer behind it. "Let's just have a little look here, shall we?" he said and Hammond said it. "What are you doing, Colonel?" he said to him then
"Oh, I'm looking for the edges of a mask!" he said to him then. "What?" he said to him then."You're obviously not the real General Hammond." he said and he said it sternly. "Sit down, Colonel!" he said to him and he said it firmly. "I don't think so, bucko. The jig's up. We're on to ya." He said and Hammond said it. "What are you talking about?" he said to him then. "We're still on P7J-989." she said to Jack and he nodded gently to her then.
"Oh, you betcha: This is just a new game brought to you by our good friend…" he said as he pats Hammond on the head. "The Keeper." he said and Hammond stood up then. "You are way out of line, Colonel!" he said sternly and he stepped back, firmly. "You could be having a nervous reaction to the machines, we should get back to the infirmary and run some tests." she said and he said it as his tone starts gong up at that remark then.
"Yeah I'm starting to see why you told us this, every time something never makes sense, they deduce it as drugs, or we been replaced, yeah they had a nervous breakdown." Hoffman said, crossing his arms, getting into character and Landry nodded sternly. "I call mini psychotic break right now, Brandon." Sigourney said and the others nodded sternly. "Agreed this was long in coming, and came when the Admiral assigned him to us." Jackson said sternly to that opinion.
"No, you should get us out of these damn machines is what you should do!"he snapped and that did it, as as SF approaches O'Neill from behind, locking and loading his weapon. Teal'C stands up in alarm. "Oh boy, yeah he snapped finally, Reg, your alien counterpart over did it here." Geordi said and he nodded in agreement. "This is why they need holodecks, you know what you're seeing is real or not, and we get that training." Reg Barclay said and Haden nodded.
"Agreed, we're getting the training capable, of seeing what's real or not real after ending up in that facade now, that Hathor created, they nearly had me convinced, till I see the duo." Daniel said and Landry smiled, as Hammond smiled at that, training to see it now finally. In seeing between the delusion or what's real, this was the perfect training in his eyes. "Training in being a schizophrenic, I never would have thought of that." Landry said as he started laughing then.
"As Christopher would later tell me, the only way he can help Russel, is by showing him the difference, between what is real, and what's in his mind. You took that a little too seriously here right now, by creating holodecks, telling the difference between real and not real." Connelly said again with a laugh and Crowe smiled and nodded. "When his grandmother is my best friend, and the man playing Nick is still hospitalized, only option." he said to her gently and she nodded.
"How old were we when we got you exactly?" he added, and he sighed. "It was 2 years later, I got shuttled to you, and 3 years in therapy." he said and Crowe nodded sternly. "Yeah I find out, I'm going to kill that pervert, yes alright here so 1975 to 1978 now is us. And Dustin did the rest from 79' to 1984, okay got it." she said and he nodded gently. "We graduated at 18, started college at 19, so there it is as I stayed in touch, since then." he said and she nodded smiling.
As they watched as Jack turned to the SF and challenges him. "Oh, what!" he snapped and Landry crossed his arms. "You need to ask that question, with your behavior after Hathor and during the cor'ai." he asked and Hammond finished that. "Colonel, your insubordination is testing my patience: I will give you one final chance. To follow my orders and rejoin the residents of the artificial world." he said to him then sternly as Landry said it with him.
"Residents.'" Sam repeated and nodded, now sure of where they are, as the keeper turned to her, realizing he gave himself away then. "That's what the Keeper called them." she said and she and Daniel stand up. "Are you going back in or not, Colonel?" he said and Jack shouted it out. "I'm already in!" he shouted at him then as 8 more SFs walk into the Briefing Room. "Here it comes, you realized his mind snapped." Wes said and Daniel nodded to him.
"Place SG-1 under arrest and put them in isolation where they can speak to no one!" he said and they put them in handcuffs, and let them out of the room then. "Well I'm starting to see why you kept placing him under psychological work up." Landry said and he nodded. "There's more, but you're going to see how he really sees us, scientists now, because we see things they never catch, and they see it as a psychotic break now." he said and they nodded.
"Loser." they heard from one screen. "Shut up, you bird brain." he said in response and they got the answering response. "Make me." it said and they started laughing. "Alright again knock it off wiseguy, we're not having anyone swapping insults all afternoon here. Ente, that wasn't necessary to be imitating the parrots over guys like this, especially after the guy. That was playing Vermin shot the perch." Landry said trying to control his voice at that response.
"She's the smart house on the movie, that Kevin Kilner lived in, only 6 states wide northeast." Landry said and Hammond and Jacob nodded with a chuckle. "Well I see she's getting smart with everyone, she's the Enterprise now, status number?" Hammond asked and he smiled gently. "Including the cast, we have 80,000 people here now, but the ship complements 800,000, so just 1/10th that number is more then plenty here, as for the cast now."
"But the cast is switched to us now, so Cam and Vala, Daniel, Teal'C, Diana and me, but we're following the book on this one, no more cutting corners now. Good news is Teal'C and Bra'tac are off the System Lord radar now, they let him go, in exchange for taking out the renegades." he said and they both nodded with a sigh of relief then. "They're off the majority's radar, but not Apophis's now, yeah we need to get rid of that snake." Hammond said and Jacob nodded.
"So 1/3rd the ship is underwater you can barely see where the battle bridge begins and the cliff-face ends here, it blends right into the cliff face of the wall." he said and Daniel nodded. "Just consider The Jetsons movie, in space became 975ft underwater, just above the depth. On the movie now, at 47ft, I've gone that deep before, but this was normal to me. I've been doing this since I was 13." he said and they nodded with a smile and Barnes chuckled at that remark.
"In your case son, is doing this repeatedly in training again, you're getting back into the saddle and everything is fine, back to the way it was. But her trying to sabotage you, don't think so here, as you been doing this so long. That it's not as dangerous as being around a bunch of crazy soldiers, and said who can't admit they're not strong enough. Or better, they're addicted to alien drugs, in which case here, you're safer here, as you do what you were born to do."
"This is your job, what you're paid to do now." he said and Jacob nodded, as he agreed with the brass 2 to 3 ranks ahead of him now. "And they call what we do dangerous, hah, the only thing dangerous here is their desperation. As despite the fact that the General ripped every ancient planet out of the SGC computer. They're still convinced they're going to walk into Porthos, Nichole, Colette and Aramis." Lieutenant Gary Sanderson said and Daniel nodded sternly then.
And as the kids were shaking in laughter at the levity in this conversation, by doing that play back. "At least that's not the teenage/young adult version to that exchange right now, you remember, after Piscopo described his likes, and the bird's response to that. Before Michael's assistant shot the bird a warning look, after the profanity ended up in the conversation." Shepard said through his laughter, as he, Cam and Vala were shaking in laughter then.
And to this remark. "Keep it clean with kids under 13 on this floor, guys." he said gently then and the district nodded smiling then. "With us earthlings, the movies we watch are not that big a deal, but our offworld members, and saying of which. Ente, regarding movies and books, I want anything higher than low PG-13 if they're from another planet. To be placed under, earthling only, for us, that's mid to late teenager and up to adult only." he said and knew she nodded.
"We had age requirements on everything, and Craig's movie took a level into high R, and entering NC-17 here." Daniel said to him in a low tone and he nodded. "Which is why that one is going under adult section only, we're organizing this, so some teenager. Or preteen never watches this crap, and scares themselves out of their wits now. So the slasher flicks are 16 and older, as are the King, Harris and Koontz novels." he said and they nodded in agreement then.
"Okay, okay, it was after this, they started seeing every time your orders never make sense, or they never seeing what I saw, they see it as not real. One too many facades, and someone keeps screwing with their heads, our heads Teal'C, as she said. If we had an alien computer virus getting stuff on our side of the gate now now, in truth. On another planet, cut off from our world, trying to stay alive." he started to say and then froze, as he figured it out at that gently.
"Professor, did you by any chance have a run in with Hathor yourself, back in the 50's?" he asked and Sanderson froze and quickly checked the papers till he found it slammed it on the table. "April 15th, 1958, this was the tape recording now, he just realized, like you did, what his version of O'neill, Makepeace and Johnson had. And had been behind enemy lines so long, that his condition went completely berserk at the time now." he said and activated the tape then.
"With us alerting you to the stargate program, it's you knew this, the program is in civilian service control now, so you can use this to make the movie." he said and the trio nodded, knowing this would do it. "Formal log April 15, 1958: after weeks of deciphering what the CIA wanted, I realized this was meant to create the parameters. And for a nuclear bomb, deciding I wasn't turning on my boss at the Wheeler Labs, I resign."
"But this weapon was meant for long range nuclear warfare, though we swore never to use the elements. On our side, turning this into a repeater of Hiroshima and Pearl Harbor, only now this is the SGA version of it now. They intend to use this weapon to rage war against the quintet we belong to now. Being a member of the program, the job was interesting, but lately now, it's taking me away from my wife more and more."
"Personal notes, knowing where this thought is going to lead me after learning my wife is pregnant, that's only made my decision more final." they heard and then heard a sigh. " April 22, 1958: God, there has to be some way to get out of this unless…., dad, I got to get her to realize it, instead of leaving. It's she goes to dad now, but at my current stage, it wouldn't be bad, more then another week to two of this now."
"The comedown is going to be just as bad, if not worse, but these bastards attack dad, they think he's a Russian, the guys with him. But that maybe my one chance, damn it, well nice try you idiots right now, you took the bottles. But not the bag, I packed 2 week's worth after you stole the bottles, they're in my jacket right now. You think my father is not going to think you all lost your minds finally right now in truth here."
"That remark always trying to defend against the barbarians at the gate, well let me tell you, there really are, and said are you. You people are crazy, you realize this rebellion can and could destroy us, they said no elements. No nuclear weapons testing of any kind and we can advance, but we been on hiatus for 6 years. Since WWII ended and now you're trying to make trouble, why shouldn't I be surprised here right now."
"You idiots are chosen on how crazy you are, the more crazy, the more extreme the situations you get put into. But like baby would say, it's not her side of the program waiting to use it, whatever it is, for weapons. It's we are dealing with a section of our government, once specializing in chronic paranoia. You chose me because of my condition trying to feed that paranoia higher here, but your paranoia here now."
"That could be rephrased as 'you know what it's like under fire', 'Lives are at stake' 'We have to act now'. 'You idiots weren't under fire, who's lives are at stake, they never attacked us, the contract is binding. And why, why risk upsetting things when our grandchildren aren't even born, but this doesn't surprise me. In your eyes, while we're resting in beds, in D.C., you're wide awake and worried, chronic paranoia here."
"But do you, Parcher, realize how insane this sounds, to not just me or Jack and Dave, if they hear this, to us, you're a schizophrenic, so to the psychiatric department, huh. But Dr. Sanderson's not going to like this whatsoever right now, if this results in breakdown finally, you did what had to be done. What had to be done huh, because Parker and Sanderson are going not going to like this." they heard and he switched it off.
"I know how this looks to him, he knows I'm not delusional if he and Alicia find this recording, but you idiots cross him, you're asking. Now for the cross examination from hell, he knows you see him, and Dr. Peterson. As Russians, along with my friends, so to them, you lost your grips on reality here. But I agree with them, it's not the Soviets that I'm trying to get away from, it's you now, and you won't leave me alone here."
"I never lost my grip here on it, stuck to what he taught me since I was a cub still, but I'm not a soldier, no military training.
