Tyrone knew something had happened, but not what so he took the best route… he called Toshiko.

She arrived the next morning and settled for breakfast as her brother cooked like a champion, Ianto ignoring all the food Tyrone was slamming down with just a piece of toast for himself. Ianto knew they were waiting and, in the end, he told them everything.

"Wait… he almost dumped Rhiannon into the conversation?" Tyrone gaped "Damn. He knows she is She Who Must Not Be Named after that Tell All she tried to sell."

"I know. Her feckless husband was behind it and I know she wants to apologize but doesn't know how. Too much Da in her" Ianto replied.

"But still, you worry about those kids of hers" Tyrone scolded.

"Well, it's not their fault their parents are twats" Ianto snorted "Of course I send something each birthday and Christmas for their presents. She does send a photo of what she got them from Uncle Davie that is maybe worth half what I send."

"And you hate that too" Toshiko cut in, "She still refuses to let that name die."

"Can't, she named David after me after all" Ianto sighed theatrically "Like that made up for things."

"God, she is thick. Sorry, she's your flesh and blood but…"

"Family is not blood, family is love." Ianto replied.

"Amen!" Tryone grinned as he took a sip of coffee.

"So, what now?" Toshiko asked.

"I wait."

.

.

"Well, good riddance" Rose said as she slowly turned in the middle of the penthouse, watching Jack racing from place to place like he had lost something important "What are you doing?"

"Making sure he didn't take anything" Jake said as he stopped to look around wildly.

"Good idea, might have palmed something."

"No… nothing of his. If his stuff is still here… then so is he… or will be" Jack looked at her as if just focusing on her for the first time "Why are you here? You never said a single fucking word to me at the funeral, now suddenly you are my bestie? What did that old bitch tell you to do?"

She gaped at him like he had blasphemed in a church and Jack grunted, racing out of the room toward the elevator as he started to go over what to say in his head.

.

.

Ianto heard the car zooming up the driveway and grimaced as he checked the clock, glad Toshiko and Owen had left already, Tyrone about to. Shit, could be worse if they are still here. Ty will be caustic enough.

Ianto opened the door to find a slightly shaken if not stirred man standing there panting "Ianto… Ianto…I … I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. Look… I didn't mean to let her get into our business and I know… I know … Mama…"

"Stop talking and get in here before someone sees you" Ianto sighed stepping aside to let him in and as Jack entered the hallway Tyrone came out of Janet's room to freeze and stare at him.

"Hi Jack."

"Hi Ty."

"Hot out there today?"

"Huh?"

Tyrone let his eyes wander until Ianto stepped between them, his gaze on Tyrone telling him that he was taking too much candy from the bowl. Tyrone grinned widely as he held his hands up in surrender "Come on. I might be hetro but damn… if your fella is not enough to make a man wonder about a little stumble to the other side."

"You are not funny."

"Yes I am, and you know it" Tyron said as he moved around the two men to head for the door, pausing to slap the arse of the man behind Ianto and whisper "Damn, but that tackle can catch mighty big fish Captain."

Jack looked down.

He was standing there in his boxer shorts and nothing else, the outline of his bloody lovely penis (according to Ianto) very visible with his morning woody at half mast, Ianto taking a toll on his ability to control himself.

"I didn't get dressed first" Jack said like that might be in question.

"I see that" Ianto replied with a sage nod. "Good thing you have clothes here or that might be embarrassing on the way home if stopped for a routine breath test or something."

Jack started to snigger as he thought of Rose's face, the bellhop's face in the parking garage and the woman at the lights on the pushbike who looked into the car at him. Now it made sense.

OH yeah.

"Come on ya divvy. Let's sit and you can tell me why you feel so bad and why you never want to disappoint me and I can tell you I am ashamed of the flounce I did and am as shocked as you that we are letting this wedding thing get so out of hand, can hold hands and promise not to let it get to us, we can sort of say our vows and then feel bad as they are not a secret now… talk about that weird text… or we can have some breakfast." Ianto stopped talking like he was letting Jack decide, then he started for the kitchen when Jack nodded "Tyrone always brings fresh bacon and I feel like a bacon sarnie. How about you."

"With an egg? Sunny side up?" Jack asked following him "And can it be a muffin or bagel? Not toast?"

"We shall see what I can do" Ianto replied as he rounded the corner and started to turn on the heat.

"I think I need clothes" Jack headed for their bedroom and felt more than a little silly now. "Ianto?"

"Yeah I know. Me too. OK?" Ianto called back and Jack laughed softly as he went to get some clothes. Ianto was right. They didn't need to say the words they both knew what would be said, done and agreed to. Let's jut skip it and move to the satisfaction of sorting things out without having to speak.

He knew him so well.

One of the many things Jack loved about that man.

He never made him sweat.

Text? What text.

Jack took a look at Ianto's phone and knew who to blame for that shit.
