Authors note:
-I said this a while back, I hate leaving authors' notes.
-But it has been a whole while hasn't it, I never forgot about Bandits Belt. The reason why I haven't updated the fanfic, Was because I'm 19 right now. And I had to find a job that I wanted to work in, I mean I had a decent job. But I wanted to do something bigger, So in the end, I talked to my boss. And then he told me how he went to the Marines, And that the benefits he got from them were worth the pain he suffered. But he told me to never join the Marines or any of the other Branches.
…….SOOOOOOO guess what I did..
I joined the Army, But I had to give up my phone for 3 months and go to boot camp. And honestly, it was the most fun I had in a whole while. But now I'm back, As a soldier. This is probably the chapter you have all been waiting for for a long time.

Brandy was in the hotel room, All by herself. She was huddled up in the bed sheets. She had not left the hotel since yesterday; after the crocodile incident, they called animal control to remove the deceased animal's body. Luckily bandit wasn't charged with killing a protected species in Florida. "Hey," Said a blue heeler who walked up to her. He sat on the bed beside Brandy. Trying to find the right words to say to the red heeler. "The kids are worried about you, Bluey especially." He said while playing with his thumbs. Brandy moved around in the sheets and sat beside the blue heeler; They sat there in awkward silence. "T-Thank you, Bandit…..for what you did". She said, Placing the side of her head on his shoulder.
Bandit sighed and put his arm around her. He was glad that she was starting to feel a bit better. So many things have happened in less than a week. The reason Bandit left to go to America was to get away from all the recent stress he had gone through. But nothing has changed, Bandit wanted to make Brandy feel better. But he didn't know what to do. For the past few days, he has been feeling more attached to her. But he denied that feeling, And he made sure to keep it hidden. It just didn't feel right for the middle-aged heeler. Bandit took in a deep breath, And then a breath out. He took his arm off Brandy and got off the bed, "I'll be back, Just make sure to rest". The Blue Heeler said as he walked to the door. Brandy looked at him as he walked off, Bandit shut the door. The red heeler then got back on the bed, in her mind she wanted him to keep his arm around her longer than what he did.
Outside of the room, Bluey and Bingo we're worried for their aunt. "Is she gonna be ok Dad"? Bluey said, Wanting to open the door, but Bandit put his hand over it. Letting her know it was not a good time. Bingo had her back on the wall, lost in her mind. While touching her sliced ear. "She's gonna be fine Bluey, She just needs some time alone". Bandit said looking a bit unconvinced by his statement. "Look how about we go outside, And find something to do, Go to the front door and wait for me, I just have to let your aunt know we're leaving". He said to the kids, As he got his phone out to check the time. Bluey nodded and walked away, Bingo however stayed behind still playing with her sliced ear. It disturbed Bandit, He gave her a worried look, And sat down beside her "Hey kiddo….. Are you ok"? That was when she stopped moving her finger around her ear. Her left eye twitched as she shifted her gaze towards her father, with blank eyes.
…….
"I've been thinking Dad...About mum…..Did you really kill her"? The last thing the red heeler wanted to do was explain to her father how she technically caused the unknown gray dog. Bandit believed the lie, He gave his daughter a sad look. "It wasn't a choice Bingo……I had to do it….Your mother had gone feral, And she was hurting other dogs…..I saved a dog that day, But I had to take your mothers". Bandit said, rubbing his eyes, trying not to get emotional. Bingo then realized something, "D-Dad…. Am I turning into mum…D-Do I have canc-
"No" Bandit stopped his daughter mid-sentence and hugged her closer to him. "you have nothing like what she had…..Trust me Bingo". He said, Rubbing his daughter's head, The little red heeler sighed and hugged her father back. "Come on sweetie, Your sister is waiting for us". Bandit said getting up from the floor, They both began to walk towards the front door, Until the blue heeler realized he forgot to say Bye to Brandy. "Hold on, I'll be right back, Just go ahead Bingo". He said to her, Bandit turned around and walked into the room, Bingo stood there looking at her father, She scowled and shook her head.
Inside the room he walked into the room, He walked up to the bed, to find out the Red Heeler was sleeping. Bandit walked up near and sighed. She looked peaceful. And it made the Blue Heeler happy to know she could rest. Last night he had to stay up for a while just to keep her calm. Seeing her stressed out also worried the blue heeler. "Rest Brandy", He said, as he tapped her shoulder, And walked out of the room, shutting the door. He didn't see it, But she smiled at him.
2 Hours Later
Bandit had taken his kids to the playground. He was sitting on a bench while watching his kids play. It wasn't a big park but it had enough stuff for his children to play. Bluey was on the swing set while Bingo was just sitting on the top of the slide. She would sometimes go down the slide, But she usually just stayed on top.
While Bingo was having a moment, Bandit was on his phone looking to see what he and his kids could do for a good amount of the day. His two potential options were either indoor rock climbing Or kayaking. He was gonna ask Brandy If she wanted to join him with his kids. And if she did want to join, kayaking was definitely the last thing he would suggest to Brandy. "Hey There," said a familiar voice, Bandit turned his head around to see Theresa And her two kids walking up towards him. "mind if I sit down with you", The fat Rottweiler asked as Hilda and Junior ran to the park. Bandit nodded and scooted down to let the chubby dog sit down. "I…..Hope not to be a bother, But me and my husband were wondering, H-How is Brandy doing. We are worried about her. I know I may sound a bit nosey, But if it bothers you can tell me and I won't mention it ever again. She said looking up the Blue Heeler
Bandit looked back at the rottweiler. He thought about it for a second, Bandit hasn't known them for long. But since she has been open to Bandit and Brandy, He felt comfortable enough to talk about Brandy's condition. "She's….. okay, But she doesn't wanna come out of the apartment yet. The whole situation made her relive a traumatic event". He explained, As he turned off his phone, And put it in his pocket. "She has a fear of Crocs, Why what happened"? Theresa said crossing his legs, "Well it's a bit primal".
"No, No, I understand, if it's private…..But I'm glad to know that she's doing fine". She said giving the Blue Heeler a serious look, Bandit nodded And smiled at her. They then turned their heads around to look at their children. Bluey was playing Tag with Junior, Running around and giggling. Hilda was looking at them, But she didn't feel like playing tag. So she turned around and walked towards the Slide where Bingo was sitting on top. The little rottweiler climbed on top where Bingo was sitting, She didn't even notice the little black dog behind her. After a few seconds, Hilda tapped the red heeler's shoulder. Bingo shook her head, She was thinking about what happened yesterday. "could I have a turn, Bingo"? The young rottweiler said kindly, bingo then turned her head forward and went down the slide. Hilda smiled and proceeded to go down, she giggled. "That was fun, now it's your turn to go down the slide", she said, To the red Heeler. "um, I don't really feel like playing the slide". Bingo said, scratching her neck under her muzzle. "Why do you have the mask thing?" Hilda asked, getting distracted by the bingo's muzzle.
That was when the young heeler looked away in shame, She started to rub the ripped part of her "I think it looks cool on you, Where can I get one"! Hilda said, sitting down on the mulch floor crisscrossed. "I don't think it's cool, I hate it, It's hard to sleep with, And I can't wash it". Bingo complained As she continued to scratch her neck. "so, why don't you take it off"? The little black dog asked her, The Red Heeler sighed and sat down beside the dark dog. "It's, umm… complicated".
BACK WITH THE PARENTS
"And that's pretty much what happened, And now she's a social outcast in her school. I mean she has one friend, his name is Dougie, even though he knows what she did, But I guess since she was his first friend he wanted to be with her". Bandit explained to Theresa, she gave the blue heeler a sad look. "Honestly mate, It was my fault for not noticing earlier, Maybe if I did then none of this would have happened". Getting angry at himself for being ignorant, Theresa felt even worse for the blue Heelers daughter. It was already a horrible experience wearing a muzzle in her teenage years. But Bingo was just a toddler, No kid should be going through this experience.
"It would have honestly been hard taking care of the kids if Brandy didn't decide to help me, After my wife pass-...". Bandit said, stopping himself from finishing his sentence and putting his back on the bench. "oh……I'm sorry to hear about that, Bandit". She said sadly, Bandit started to scratch his hand, nervous to mention about Chilli……I know what it's like to lose a loved one". Theresa said looking at the blue heeler, She turned around and started to play with her fingers, Thinking. "It was my sister, we were twins, And well twins have a closer connection than normal siblings. She was the only other dog besides Marcus who was there for me when I had to wear that stupid Muzzle. She came to visit me every time she had the chance to leave Australia". Theresa said, smiling a bit, from the happy memory, But then it changed back to neutral.
"She was a police officer…. And you want to know something else that was funny. Her husband was also a police officer, And they would always work together during work. They took their job seriously, But even then loved each other to death…". She said, taking a pause and staring off into space. "They wanted to have a kid, And well when they did, it wasn't even 3 months after my sister gave birth to her first daughter. And she was already out of bed and wanted to go back to work, But one day she got a call from the chief. He told my sister and her husband to go to the hospital in Brisbane city". Bandits' eyes widened a little when she said Brisbane.
"They were told to guard a certain room, Where a dog had attacked a few people, apparently there was something mentally wrong with her. Her husband guarded the door, And she guarded the bottom floor to make sure whoever planned on visiting her would not be able to go to the elevator. On their second, The Dog somehow escaped the room. Sadly her Rot was guarding the door…..And she killed him, By ripping his stomach apart". Bandit was shocked he couldn't move, He knew that name. It was the rottweiler chilli had killed. "After that, she attacked two other police Officers, knocking one out. And almost killed another……But at the last second, someone grabbed one of the officers' pistols and shot the feral dog. They never said who killed her, but they did say her name……it was chilli Heeler".
………
"When my sister heard what happened to Rot, she instantly had a mental Breakdown. It was so bad, That other policemen had to carry her out of the hospital. But before they even reached the door she took out her pistol and shot her brains out…..And well…..She was gone".
Bandit did not move a muscle; his mind was listening to every sentence the Rottweiler said, He was however mentally panicking. Theresa had a small tear coming out of her eye, She closed it and wiped it away from her face. She started to tap her on the ground, starting to feel emotional. The fat rottweiler then put her hand in her pocket and took out a clear yellow bottle, filled with medication. She took a pill out and swallowed it. She looked at the pills. Remembering when she first had to take them.
Marcus' car had pulled up in front of the hotel, It wasn't far from the elevator that led to the room. He got out of the car and went to the backseat where he took out a baby carrier that had a 9-month-old baby Rottweiler in it. He quickly walked up to the elevator and went up to the 3rd floor where his room was located. He placed the baby carrier down and took out his card to open the door. He picked up Hilda and went inside, He placed her down again. She was still sleeping peacefully, snoring while sucking on her thumb.
Marcus then ran out of the room and shut the door, He ran to the elevator and pressed the button for it to open. He stood there tapping his foot impatiently. It didn't open after 20 seconds so he ran to the stairs. And got down to the first floor. And ran up to his car, He opened the back door. His face turned sad, seeing Theresa lying down on the seat in a depressed manner. "Baby please get up, We have to go back to the apartment". Marcus said as he rubbed his wife's shoulder.
She didn't move, the rottweiler was a different dog 3 years ago. After the death of her sister, she had become depressed. Her body used to be slim, But now she is malnourished. You could see the ribs on her chest, even the tear stains when she was bawling her eyes out. She had bags underneath her eyes, And her face was frozen in an emotional state. Marcus shook his head, saddened to see her like this. Marcus grabbed her arms and pulled her out of the car, it wasn't hard since she weighed less. The rottweiler stumbled as she got out of the car. But Marcus caught her, and she found her balance. She began to slowly walk towards the hotel with her head down.
Every step she took, looked as if she was about to fall on the floor. She was never like this, But she had felt as if a part of her had died, Theresa didn't feel complete, A part of her was gone, and she couldn't find a purpose to keep going forward. Marcus, still standing there, started to tear up. He had dated her since high school when was a biter. He was happy with her, everyday they would hang out and talk for hours on end. They lived a perfectly happy life, No issues, no arguments, no sadness, Until now. Marcus walked up to Theresa and picked her up from the ground, She didn't try to struggle. It wasn't hard to pick her up in the elevator.
That time Marcus waited for the elevator to open, Luckily it didn't take as long. When the two dark dogs got to the third floor, Marcus walked up to the door and gently placed his wife on the ground. She hugged her knees and placed her chin on her knees. Marcus took out his keyboard and opened the door. He didn't hear any loud crying, meaning that Hilda was still sleeping. "Come on honey, the doctors prescribed you to take the pills today. It should help you". Marcus said as he took out a clear yellow bottle of pills.
Theresa then got up and walked into the hotel room, still keeping her head down. She got on the living room couch And curled her body into a ball. Marcus took in a breath, starting to get impatient with his wife, She was starting to act like a child. "Theresa please you have to stop acting like this, These pills might be the only thing that can help you". Marcus said as he began to shake the rottweiler's shoulder, Marcus then tried to move her out of the corner to face him. But the Rottweiler resisted and pushed her husband's hand away.
"sniff" "sniff"
She started to cry remembering when she got a phone call from her mother telling her that she had died from a feral dog. She continued to cry, And cry, Marcus then used a bit more of his strength to try and shift her to look at him. "Theresa please this is for your own good, stop acting like th-".
"GET AWAY FROM ME"!
Theresa yelled As she slapped his hand away. She then curved herself into a ball And continued to weep. Marcus rubbed his hand, He was about to try to get her off the couch. The Doberman was not gonna give up on her, But he had to find a way to get her off the couch.
"WHAA" "WHAA" "WHAA"
Hilda cried, all the yelling had woken the 9-month-old baby, Marcus was about to go and calm her down. But then he stopped when he realized how he was able to get her out of her fetal position. He wasn't gonna like it, But he had a feeling that it would work. The Doberman walked back And left the living room.
"WHAA" "WHAA" "WHAA"
Hilda kept on crying, shaking her little arms, Wanting someone to carry her. Theresa heard the baby's cries. Theresa covered her ears, But she could still hear Hilda. She wanted to help her, but she couldn't because her depression pushed her down to not help out the baby. As she continued to cry, Theresa gritted her teeth And shook her head multiple times.
"WHAA" "WHAA" "WHAA"
She couldn't take it anymore, She got up and off the couch. And Ran up to the 9-month-old baby. Theresa gently picked her up and started to shake her, Not hard, But gently to calm her down. Hilda stopped crying and slowly closed her mouth. "It's ok, It's ok". She said to the baby, still shaking her, Theresa started to shift her lips uncomfortably. She shook her head realizing just how wrong she was at leaving Hilda to cry. She brought the baby to her chest and cried harder than ever.
Marcus walked back into the living room And ran up to his crying wife, He grabbed Hilda away from her and gently placed her back in the carrier. The Doberman then approached his grieving wife, Theresa crawled up to him and squeezed him. "I'm sorry"! She said, As Marcus also started to cry.
2 years later
Theresa was in her bedroom looking at herself in the mirror, She was still and had a plain face, Not moving an inch. She had become fat And gained over 40 pounds. The pills the doctors had prescribed her gave the Rottweiler an enormous appetite. She used to be lean and skinny, Now she had a fat neck and a large muffin top. She grabbed the side of her belly and picked it up. She then let it drop, making it jiggle back into place. She hated the way she looked, It made her feel disgusting. "I'm nothing but a fat Bitch". She said to herself, The rottweiler then walked to her closet and took out a blue dress. She proceeded to put it on, She had outgrown all of her clothing. When she finished changing she took another long look at herself. "I'm still…..just a fat Bi-
"MMMMMUUUUUUMMMMMM"
Said a voice outside her room, That was when she snapped out of it and looked back. "coming sweetheart". She said, speed walking out of the room And heading towards the kitchen, Where a 2-year-old female rottweiler was standing on a chair with a bowl of cereal on the table. "Mum can you please help me pour the mill, It's too heavy". The Little black dog asked nicely as she pointed at the milk carton in the middle of the table. "oh of course sweetie". Theresa said as she grabbed the milk and poured it into Hilda's bowl. Marcus ran up to another chair And climbed up to it beside Hilda. Hugging her, And giggling, While play fighting. "Hey, Mum could I please get some cereal". He said as he stopped play fighting with his younger sister. Theresa shook her head with a smile And grabbed a bowl from the top shelf. And grabbed the fruit cereal from the table, making breakfast for her son, she shoved the bowl in front of her son. "thank you, mum". He said as he began to eat his breakfast. Seeing the meals her children were eating, Made her crave some of it.
When her kids were done Theresa put the bowls in the So she grabbed another bowl from the top shelf and made some herself. At first, she poured herself a small amount, But then she looked down at her stomach. Theresa Shook her head, And proceeded to fill up the bowl, And then filled it up with milk, Up to the point where it almost spilled. If she were to move the bowl it would have made a mess. She stared at the food for a good while, Thinking about how much of a fatass she was. She then grabbed a spoon from one of the cabins.
She proceeded to eat the entire bowl, But every time she did it. It made her feel disgusted. When she was done eating, She stared at the bowl. She was also thinking about her deceased twin sister. That was the only thing that hurt worse than being fat. She shook her head and moaned, feeling stressed out. "Hey honey". Marcus said, walking up to his wife, And kissing her on her forehead.
………
"Theresa, are you ok"? Marcus asked As he shook his wife's shoulder. "I'm fine, sweetie it's just that…..I was looking in the mirror again". She said, Playing with the spoon in the cereal bowl. "I hate being fat Marcus, I feel….. ugly, I have stretch marks, And I literally have to use my left hand for support when I crouch down to grab the Toys!" She said, raising her hands in the air. The rottweiler started to rub her stomach, feeling how disgusting it was. "Baby". Marcus said grabbing Theresa's chin and guiding her lips towards his. Theresa didn't even want to kiss him, she tried to resist. But when she felt his lips on her. She couldn't resist, So she kissed him back.
It was a long and slow kiss, And when they were both done. They had a bit of saliva dripping from their mouths. "You're not disgusting, You're the love of my life". He said as he brushed her fur on the side of her neck. They kissed again, This time with tongue. "I love you". Theresa said, Taking a breath, so she could last longer in his mouth.
Later that night, they made love. It was a reminder to Theresa that no matter what she looked like, Her husband would always be there. Her body meant nothing to him, He liked her for her personality.
PRESENT
Theresa still sat there looking off into space, Thinking about her past. But she hooked her head and looked at the shocked heeler. She assumed Bandit was surprised by her story. "Whatever happened to the baby, Of your deceased sister? Bandit said, Theresa shifted her head up and pointed in the direction where Hilda and Bingo were talking, Pointing directly at the little black dog. Bandit gulped. It bothered him knowing that he was just a few meters away from the kid whose mother was killed by his mentally ill wife. "The worst part is that I have never told Hilda about her mother, I'm just her aunt, But even then she calls me mom. She is the only thing I have that reminds me of my sister.
Junior doesn't even know she's his cousin, but yet they both mean the world to me". The rottweiler said,
She still had a depressed look on her face. But the pill started to affect her, And she changed back to her cheerful self. "My bad, I'm sorry you had to see that, I was just having a moment". She said smiling, Bandit was sweating, But he kept his calm. He felt horrible to know that his deceased wife had killed the rottweiler's twin sister. He shook his head And tried to not think about it too much. "No It's ok, I understand……What's it like to lose someone……I lost my wife a few years ago". Bandit said, Feeling that Theresa has the right to know about Chilli. "She had cancer, But while she had it, She also developed tumors inside her brain. That…..Gave her mood swings……And since she grew multiple tumors in her brain. The doctors couldn't take any of them out since they were growing at an alarming rate……So they……". Bandit had to lick his lips, He was twitching his eye while occasionally moving his lips.
"had to pull the plug", Bandit lied, Not wanting to look at the Rottweiler. He started to scratch his shoulder, looking nervous, But he slowly stopped when he thought about Brandy. And how she had helped me more times than he could remember. If it wasn't for her, He would have gone insane, just taking care of two kids. She meant a lot to him. He always hated to admit that he did want to be with her, in a romantic relationship….. But in the end, it was wrong. "Also", Theresa said, taking out two small plastic tickets, and showing them to the Blue Heeler. "You see there's concrete that's opening tonight. My Husband and I got the last 4 tickets, Which let me tell ya they weren't cheap at all". She said her smile looked a bit forced. "We bought it for our friends But they couldn't go today, Because they both got sick". She explained
"And we'll if you and Brandy want to go to the concert, You guys could go at 9 pm". Theresa said as Bandit took the tickets and looked at them. "Oh wow ... .Um thank you, You want some money for it? These tickets are really overpriced". He looked at the pricing on the back of the tickets. Theresa was starting to consider it, But since she was so kind. It made her refuse the offer. "No, No it's ok, you can keep it, it's a gift after all". She said, Getting up from the bench to stretch a bit. "Also I have a few questions about Australia, I hope you don't mind me asking about that either". Theresa asked while Bandit put the tickets in his pocket. "Yeah sure, And I'll talk to Brandy, Maybe she would like to come along''.
As the two grownups continued to talk, Hilda and Bingo were still having a conversation near the slide. "So you bite someone and now you have to wear the mask, Forever"! Hilda said, a bit shocked by what Bingo had told her. The red heeler worried that she could get in trouble for telling a dog she barely even knew. Bingo just sighed and looked the other way around, Not wanting to see the rottweiler. "But……Why did you bite them"? Hilda asked, scooting closer to the red heeler. Bingo's ears dropped as she sighed, She began to scratch her ripped ear, Out of being nervous. "I couldn't help it……I'm a bad dog". Bingo said, hugging her legs and putting her chin on her knees.
"W-Well, you don't act like a bad dog, I think you're pretty nice. I mean you haven't bitten anyone since". Hilda exclaimed
………..
"Y-yeah", Bingo said, As she twitched her left eye. "Hey, you guys wanna play more house". Junior said As he and Bluey walked up to the two dogs. Hilda and Bingo looked at each other, They both shrugged and got up from the ground. "Ok, today we're gonna be acting like Jamal's family". He explained, That was when Hilda smiled and wagged her tail. "oh, This one is my favorite". She said, hoping in place as she ran to the toy box Junior, And she would take down the elevator to the park. "Now this is gonna be fun". Hilda said as she got out some wigs.
"How do Tyrone's parents act"? Bluey asked As Junior gave him the same wig she wore a few days ago. "Oooo, look at the dress". Bluey said as she put on a pink and yellow polka dot dress. Hilda took out two wigs, One was long and black, And the other one was blond and short. Hilda gave Bingo the Blond wig, And the little rottweiler put on the black wig. "Ok this is how Tyrone's family acts, We basically have to call each other the worst things we can think of…..And we say it to each other". Junior explained, Acting as if the whole situation was normal. "I'll go first". He said as he looked a Bluey,
"Oh look, It's the same woman I have been married to for 20 years, And yet in the last year you've gained more weight. THAN THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I'VE MADE IN 4 YEARS". He said, acting just like Tyrone's parents, Bluey then got into character. "I've barely even gained weight, which says a lot about the amount of work you put into THIS GOSH DARN FAMILY"! Bluey yelled, Throwing her arms in the air. "Well maybe if you get a job and stop trying to take care of these 2 worthless dum dums, we call our children. Then maybe we could live in a better living environment"! Junior complained, Hilda was grilling the whole time, While Bingo just looked confused. "How is this even fun". The little red heeler complained. "It's just funny to see people argue". Hilda explained.
"You are nothing but a worthless excuse of a husband. If I had to go back in time, And I had a choice to either date you or sit on a cactus for as long as we have been married. I would rather sit on that cactus as long as I'VE BEEN TOGETHER WITH YOU"!!!! Bluey said, as she was actually starting to get mad, even though it was pretend. "You know what, I'm so tired of you. I was gonna say something but it's too much to say". Junior said, turning his back on her, And crossing his arms. "How about you just say it, I bet money it won't even phase me". Bluey said with angry confidence, Junior turned his head around while moving his body to face right at Bluey.
"You look like a man".
"WHACK"
There are some things you should never say to a female. But one of the biggest things you should never, EVER say, Is that they look like a man. And when Junior told Bluey that she looked like a man. She instinctively slapped him as hard as she could. "BLUEY"! Bingo yelled as Junior fell to the ground. Even Bluey was surprised, she didn't even know why did it. It was almost like a natural reaction. Hilda on the other hand was laughing.
"OOOWWW" Marcus yelled with a tear rolling down his eye. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT"! He yelled, having his feelings hurt. Bluey was embarrassed and started to panic. "n-NO, It was an a-accident, I was just in the moment. Please don't tell Dad". Bluey panicked, As she took off the dress and wig, And picked Junior up from the ground "Ok, Just stop, Look I think the game has gone a little too far. I won't tell you. Let's just stop playing, And do something else". He said, walking off while rubbing his sore cheek, Bluey followed him, while looking embarrassed. The only two left were Hilda and Bingo.
"Wow, That was fun". Bingo said sarcastically, While Hilda was still giggling. "Hey, how about we play a really fun game, But this time you choose"? Hilda said, pointing right at the red heeler. "Oh". Bingo said not really having an idea of what to play. She looked around trying to think of what to do. And then it hit her, "I have an idea, But I have to ask my dad first, Do you wanna come"? She asked the young Rottweiler, Hilda nodded, As they both walked up to the two adults having a very normal conversation.
"What do you mean the queen died!" Theresa said in confusion, Bandit was about to explain the reason. But he felt a tug on his tail And looked down to see his daughter holding his tail. "Hey Dad, I was wondering. If we could go in my room and get my toy gun, Hilda and I want to play with it". She asked, looking neutral while Hilda smiled at the blue heeler. "yeah sure, hey Theresa, is it ok if you take care of Bluey while we go upstairs to get a bingo toy"? Bandit asked, feeling he could trust the rottweiler.
"Of course Bandit, Take your time". She said with a smile, Bandit And Bingo walked up to the elevator, Theresa then sat back down on the bench and took out her phone to look up Queen Elizabeth the Second. "How could I have not known this"? Theresa said, still looking shocked.
Bandit and Bingo exited the elevator doors and walked up to their hotel room, bandit grabbed the card key And used it to open the door. "I think Brandy might still be a sleeping kid, Let's just get the gun and go". He said putting his lips on his mouth, letting her know to be quiet. Bingo rolled her eyes and proceeded to go inside with her father. They both didn't say a word, Bingo led the way toward her room And grabbed the gun angrily off the ground and 8 plastic darts. Bandit gave her a weird look as she stomped all the way out of the room, And towards the door that exited the house. "Bingo", Bandit said, speed walking towards his young daughter. "Bingo, What's going on with you"?
"N-Nothing Dad". Bingo said, sounding annoyed, as she walked faster. "Bingo please look at me when I'm talking to you". Bandit said, starting to sound impatient, That's when she turned around and gave her dad a death stare. "I saw the way you were holding Aunt Brandy's hand in the plane…..I see the way you act around her….. I know you love HER". Bingo yelled a bit loud, Bandit looked awestruck, But he tried to shake it off. "I-I don't know what you're talking about"! Bandit stuttered, looking away making it obvious he was lying. "You can't lie to me, And I don't want a new mum! You are just replacing our old mum". She said with a bit of tears falling from her eyes.
"Bingo, It's nothing like that, I don't like Brandy ok, And I-I'm not replacing your mum". Bandit said, throwing his arms in the air. But even he couldn't lie to himself. He did like brandy, he did want to be with her, He just didn't know how to tell her. "I know my Mum told me those mean things. But even I would never replace her for another Mum. She will always be my real Mother," Bingo said, as she turned around and continued to walk towards the elevator. Bandit just stood there. He wasn't angry at all, But he felt ashamed of himself. But it was not because of his crush on Brandy, It was something more personal. He grabbed his face with both of his hands pulled on it, feeling like a horrible dog, for even remembering. "I'm a piece of shit". Bandit said to himself.
"yes, you are".
Said a recognizable voice, It was chilli. He looked behind himself to see her the same way he last saw her in the hospital. Bullet holes on her sides, pale skin, fucked up teeth, And constricted pupils. "I never loved her and you know it, Bandit, That little shit has brought depression. I've wanted to kill her ever since she came to this world". She walked around her husband bleeding on the floor, And kneeled behind her daughter looking at her with murder in her mind. "If I could come back the first thing I would do is eat her from her spin. So that she could suffer longer, for bringing me so much pain……But…You could do something to finally kill the little red shit. She sadly won't suffer, But it's the best you can do". She said getting up and walking in front of her husband.
Bandit was frozen in fear, She was so lifelike, The blood still dripped from her mouth, And every time she talked he could hear her teeth making a crushing sound. "you could throw her right here and now, You can say it was an accident. That your daughter was playing around and you tried to stop her". She said pointing at the ground, Bandit shook his head and tried to push her off. He didn't feel anything, But she moved back away from him. "guess I have to do it the hard way". Chilli said
She grabbed bandit's head with full force. Bandit couldn't scream, he was fighting a hallucination. Her body began to become a liquid as it entered into the heeler's brain. Bandit was trying to fight her but he didn't win, she entered his mind making him think of murderous thoughts. He stood still, His pupils were constricted. "Dad, Are you ok?" Bingo said, As bandit looked down at his daughter, She looked concerned for her father. Bandit was shaking and his internal thoughts were telling him to kill the little heeler. Bandit tried to fight the urge to kill Bingo But he couldn't handle it.
He slowly walked up to her, Still shaking, He grabbed her by her sides and picked her up. He looked at her directly in her eyes, He didn't want to do it, he kept on shaking trying to get control of his body, But it was futile. He began to turn his body towards the side of the block fence, Where he could drop her over 30ft, Bingo didn't even realize it.
"Bandit".
Said a female voice, it wasn't Bingo or chilli. He turned his head around to see Brandy, with a shocked expression. He wasn't shaking anymore, And he didn't hear his dead wife's voice. He finally had control over his body. He put Bingo down, walking back away from her, He felt his heart was racing. He quickly took out his medication from his pocket, And took a pill. He swallowed it, his heart started to slow down. "I-I'm sorry, l-l-look I have to go and take a break". He stuttered trying to walk away. But Brandy stopped him by grabbing his hand. "Bandit, it's not your fault to calm down". She said
"LOOK…..I Just need some time alone, please". Bandit begged, Brandy just nodded, as she let go of Bandit's hand. The Blue heeler ran as quickly as possible back to the hotel room and slammed the door shut. Brandy scratched her arm feeling scared and confused. She knew it had to be Bandit's schizophrenia, But she never would have thought he would have gone that far. She looked at Bingo who had a worried look on her face, But when the red heeler looked at her aunt, She shook her head and pressed the button to open the elevator. "I just wanna go play with Hilda". Bingo said, waiting impatiently for the elevator. Brandy just looked back at the hotel door, wondering whatBandit's intentions were.
Down on the first floor, Bingo and Brandy left the elevator and headed down to the park. Where Theresa was still on her phone looking confused. Bluey was playing slap hands with Marcus, And the smile of the blue heeler and the painful expression on the black dog's face. Made it obvious that Bluey was winning. Hilda however was in the middle of the playground stacking rocks, as high as she could. Bingo ran up to the little rottweiler holding her gun and showing it to Hilda. She got up from the ground and they ran off to play with it. "D-Don't go near the river, Bingo"! Brandy yelled out, still afraid of what happened yesterday.
"Hello Brandy, Are you feeling better"? Theresa said walking. Up to the red heeler. "Hi Theresa, yes I…..am feeling better. But just a little shocked". Brandy said, rubbing her right arm. "Where's Bandit, I saw him go up with Bingo". Theresa asked, looking at the red heeler as she placed some plastic bottles about 30 feet away from them. They were the targets, bingo, and Hilda were gonna shoot the target from a distance. Bingo had come up with the idea when she looked up a video on the internet.
Brandy sat down on the bench, still looking at the two little dogs. "He…..had an important call to take, So I brought bingo down here". The red heeler said, "Oh well I'm glad to hear that you're better, I was also wondering did Bandit tell you about the concert tickets I gave him?". Theresa said, looking a bit tired since the sun was about to set. "What tickets?". Brandy asked, looking interested.
Back with Bingo and Hilda, Bingo had placed 4 plastic bottles in front of them. Bingo took the first turn, she put a plastic round in the gun and aimed at the bottle, she lifted the barrel a little higher.
"Tink"
She shot at the left bottle and managed to take it out. She pulled the charging handle and added a round to the chamber, She passed on the toy to Hilda. The Rottweiler looked surprised when Bingo hit the target. Hilda aimed the weapon at the bottle aiming right in the middle, She got steady and took the shot.
"Thump"
It didn't hit the bottle, But it hit the ground about 25 feet. Hilda looked shocked, She didn't know what she had done wrong. She aimed right at the target, how could she have missed? "c-could I go again, if that's ok"? Hilda asked the red heeler, Bingo nodded and gave her a plastic round. The black dog couldn't open the bolt action rifle, so Bingo had to help her. She pulled back the charging handle slowly, showing Hilda how it was done. She then added the round and closed it. The rottweiler aimed for the same spot, again.
"Thump"
It hit the grass again, The rottweiler's ears dropped. "What am I doing wrong?" She complained, As she gave the toy gun to Bingo, The red heeler took it. And added a round to the chamber. She aimed the same way Hilda was aiming. "You have to aim just a bit higher, You see the bullet goes down because…….. It's heavy the farther it goes". Bingo explained, As she pulled the trigger, And this time she hit the right side plastic bottle, and it fell to the ground. "Wow". Hilda said as she picked up another bullet from the ground and gave it to the red heeler. She pointed at the right barrel this time, But, she lifted the barrel a bit.
"Tink"
She actually managed to hit the target, Hilda giggled out of joy hoping in place. "I DID IT"! Thank you Bingo". The little black dog said, hugging the red heeler. Bingo was a bit surprised by the hug, but she accepted it. She even smiled a bit, She missed Dougie but it was nice to make a new friend. Who didn't judge her for her issues? But even then she could never forget about the pitbull, It was so sudden, it genuinely traumatized her. She would have rather had her tablet taken away than watch someone get their organs spilled on the road. The scenery never left her brain.
"Can I go again"? Hilda asked, putting another round in the chamber, Bingo snapped out of it, she nodded. "This is actually kinda relaxing if I'm being honest". The red heeler whispered to herself as Hilda managed to shoot the last bottle.
Back with the two adults sitting on the bench, Theresa had finished explaining about the tickets she had given Bandit. "And well, we were wondering if you would also like to come along, we can drive together". She asked the red heeler, Brandy thought about it. It sounded fun, But she didn't really feel like staying up all night. Plus who would be taking care of the kids while they were gone? "But what about the kids?". Brandy asked the rottweiler, Theresa just smiled. "oh I'll just ask the babysitter to take care of them, you met her before she was…. At the barbeque". The rottweiler paused trying not to make Brandy feel uncomfortable.
"oh…..well……I still don't know……. I mean, if Bandit asks me out I'll go". Brandy said not really sounding intrigued, But at the moment Theresa had an idea. In some way, it was an idea that could end in multiple bad ways. But yet for some reason, she was willing to take it. "like a date"? The black dog said, That was when Brandy got red. "w-what are you talking about? It's nothing like that!" Brandy said getting defensive, as she scowled at the Rottweiler. "well…I mean I see the way he cares about you, And he told me you have been taking care of his kids for about 3 years. I mean, maybe you developed some feelings for him". Theresa said, crossing her legs. Brandy was about to respond, but she couldn't, the black dog was right. Brandy did have feelings for the blue heeler, At this point it was obvious since the beginning of the trip. But she just didn't know how to confront him about it.
She wanted to tell his face that she loved him, That she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life. Being with him and the kids gave her a feeling of purpose. That she's been craving to sleep with the blue heeler….. yet it always felt wrong, but it wasn't because it felt like she would replace her deceased sister. No…..it was worse than that, but Brandy didn't want to even think about it. "Fine I love Bandit, But he hasn't said anything about it. I mean sometimes I feel like he does feel something for me. But I just don't know what to say"! She said, sounding hopeless, as she slammed her hands on her face.
…….
"Well if I were you, and I wanted to be with someone I loved for a long while…..I would just tell him how I would feel. It's nothing complicated Brandy, Just do what comes naturally". Theresa said, smiling at the red heeler. "But what if he-
"DO IT". Bluey said, scaring Brandy from behind, Junior just walked up to his Mum and wanted to know what was going on. "We're you eavesdropping"! Brandy said, her face was fully red, not only did Theresa know, But Now her niece. Bluey had a huge smile on her face while wagging her tail back and forth. "please Aunt Brandy, go on a date with Dad. Out of all the dogs in the world I want you To be our new mum". Bluey said as hugged the red heeler's leg, still smiling like a maniac. "PLEASE" This was getting out of control, her face was completely red. And she didn't know how to respond.
Bluey did see Brandy as a mother figure, And ever since she saw her father and aunt hold hands. That was when she knew she was perfect. "Junior, go get Hilda, your father and I have to get ready for tonight, Maria is gonna take care of you tonight". Theresa said as she got up from the bench, And left to get Hilda who was still playing with bingo. Brandy was kinda pissed that the rottweiler left her in an embarrassing situation with her niece. "Aunt Brandy, I saw you and Dad holding hands in the airplane. And I saw the way you were rubbing your finger on his hand. You're in love with him". Bluey said with a Gurley squeal, her smile not leaving her face.
"I-I-I-I-I-I, No it's not what it looks like, J-Just-".
"PLEASE AUNT BRANDY, I WANT YOU TO BE OUR MUM".
"NO," Said another red heeler, who heard the loud conversation. "I don't want you to be near my dad". Bingo said looking angry, Her face was red, But it was out of anger. "YOU WILL NEVER REPLACE MUM, YOU ARE NOT OUR MOTHER. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, CHILLI WILL ALWAYS BE OUR REAL MUM!"
……..
Bingo had tears falling from her eyes, all the stress she's been going through for the past few days has finally gotten to her. The Muzzle, The idea of a new mother, The kid's death she caused. It is all too much for any kid to handle, Even worse for a sensitive kid like Bingo. Brandy didn't even say anything, she wasn't blushing any more. "You are right Bingo…..I will never be your real mother". Brandy gently moved Bluey, now looking at her. "But the one thing I can't deny is that I love your father. And I do want to be with him……But that's only if he's ok with it". Brandy smiled at Bluey, The young blue heeler smiled back, her smile even larger than before.
Bingo just stood there in utter disbelief, She threw her toy gun on the floor and ran up to Brandy, she started to hit her sides. It hurt Brandy a little, But she understood why the little heeler was angry. Brandy didn't fight back, But instead, she opened her arms up and hugged the red heeler. Bingo tried to resist and push her aunt away. "Get Away From Me!" Bingo screamed as she pushed and kicked Brandy. But no matter what the older red heeler still held her close. "No matter what you do Bingo I will always love you. I don't care if you're a biter, or if you hurt anyone. I care about way more than you think". Brandy said, Bingo slowly stopped hitting her, and she continued to cry. "why does everything bad have to happen to me!". Bingo said as she placed her face on Brandy's chest. She continued to sob And wrapped her arms around her aunt. "It's ok Bingo, we will always be here for you". Brandy said looking at Bluey The blue heeler nodded and joined in on the hug.
In Brandy's mind, It was finally time to be honest with Bandit. No more excuses, No more hiding, today was the day.
After Brandy calmed Bingo down, The three heelers used the elevator to get up to the third floor. They were all at the front door, Bingo was still mad, but she couldn't do anything about it. But Bluey was excited, happy about the idea that Brandy could be their potential new mother. Brandy was a bit nervous, Mostly because of the many ways it could go. It could either go well, And bandit would want to try and date her, Or it could go in a negative way that she didn't even bother thinking about it. She got the card key out of her pocket and opened the door. She and the kids entered the apartment, The red heeler turned around. "Alright kids just stay here, I don't know how he'll react. And honestly I don't know how I will react. I just don't want y'all to have to see a scene if it comes to it". Brandy explained.
Bluey still had her smile, And her tail never stopped wagging. The blue heeler nodded and stood there, Bingo just walked off into her room and slammed the door. Brandy sighed starting to think this was all a horrible idea. "It's now or never". Bluey said.
Brandy nodded and began to look for bandit, she looked around the kitchen, But he wasn't there. He looked around the bedrooms, and bathroom, But there was no sign of him anywhere. "Bandit", Brandy said looking around the living room where she and Bandit slept. There were two separate beds and a large closet. On bandit's bed, the sheets were taken off. "Bandit," Brandy said again, looking around the room. She turned around to the closet, She walked up to the door and opened it to see a blue heeler wrapped around in the missing sheets. "Hey", Bandit said in a depressed mood, snuggling in the sheets. "What are you doing?". Brandy said, sounding a bit annoyed, Bandit didn't even bother to look at the red heeler. "I don't really want to talk about it". The blue heeler said, as his ears dropped down.
"Tell me, Bandit, Please". Brandy said, getting down on her knees to his eye level. He still avoided eye contact with Brandy. "I forgot to take my pills for an hour….And I started to see chilli. She told me to throw Bingo to the ground, That nobody would ever find out. If I lied and said, that she was playing around and she slipped by accident……..I almost did it, Brandy". Bandit said his eyes widening, thinking about the idea of Bingo's gut spilling all over the parking lot. "Bandit it's not your fault, C-calm down. It's just……..Honestly, I don't know what to do Bandit. But I'm here for you, A-Alright, you're not alone, I'm here for you". She said, putting her hand on his shoulder, Bandit then got out of the sheets and hugged the Red heeler.
"You've always been there for me….. Honestly it would have been harder without your help. I'm sorry for ruining your relationship with your sister". Bandit said as he stopped hugging Brandy, He now looked at her eye to eye. "It wasn't your fault your fault Bandit…..you and I know it was my mistake. I felt horrible after all those years, sometimes I even thought about ending it all". Brandy admitted looking ashamed, But her sadness went away when she looked into the blue heeler's eyes. "I need you, Bandit…….".
"I Love you",
She had finally said it, after 3 years she said the one thing that she never thought she could ever tell the blue heeler. Bandit was frozen. He didn't know what to say, he didn't even know how to feel. A part of him was in denial, trying to act like this was just a dream. "I want to be with you Bandit". Brandy said, shifting her head a bit and smiling at the blue heeler. Bandit slowly smiled back at her, his eyes never leaving hers. "I-I love you too Brandy". He said, hugging her closer. Which caused Brandy to turn red on her face. She never expected him to say yes, now it was her turn to be in shock. Her heart was pumping "Th-Thank you". She said holding him closer. They were both beyond happy, they never thought they would ever reveal their emotions to one another. Bandit and Brandy were even giggling.
But out of nowhere Bandit lost his balance and fell on Brandy still hugging her. They were both snout to snout, just inches away from touching. Their eyes were both widened by surprise, their faces were red in embarrassment. They were so close to a kiss. Bandit and Brandy moved just a bit closer and closed their eyes.
"SNAP"
It was the sound of a camera taking a picture of the two heelers. And the one holding the camera was a female blue heeler. With the largest smile on her face. "Love Birds", Bluey said.
"NO" Bandit and Brandy both yelled getting away from each other and running up to the blue heeler. Bluey jumped and ran away from them, giggling during the whole run. She jumped from the couch and slid under the table. While Bandit and Brandy were struggling to catch up with the blue heeler, and laughing the whole time. Bingo was in her room under the bunk bed curled up into a ball. trying her best to ignore all the laughter and joy heard out from the room. "why" was the only thing Bingo said.
THE NIGHT
It was late afternoon, The sun was setting leaving an orange-yellow look in the sky, There were barely any cars driving outside. Inside the Heelers hotel room, Bandit was packing up one of the small suitcases for his children. Since They were planning on going out for a good amount of the night. The Blue heeler wanted to make sure they had everything they needed. "Alright that's about it, The case barely weighs anything". The blue heeler said, shaking the suitcase. "Hey, Dad can me and bingo our tablets for the slumber party". Bluey said, Bandit nodded at his daughter, As he opened the bag. "Oh, and we can't forget Turtle Boy".
Inside the hotel bathroom, Brandy was brushing Bingo's fur. Getting her ready for the slumber party. "All alright Bingo, are you excited about the slumber party? Me and your dad are gonna see if this concert is worth staying up all night. I've never heard of the artist before, apparently, his name is Ghost, Kinda spooky don't you think". She said playfully, Bingo didn't respond, all she did was stay quiet. "Are you alright mate", she asked the red heeler, Bingo still didn't respond, and she ignored her aunt. The little red heeler looked emotionless. Brandy knew that Bingo didn't like the idea of Brandy going on a date with her father. Brandy got up and looked at Bingo eye to eye. "I know you don't like me at the moment…..But maybe in time you will". She said petting her niece's head, bingo looked at her with a dead look. She got up from the chair she was sitting on and walked out of the bathroom.
Leaving Brandy all alone, The red heeler sighed and got up, looking at herself in the mirror. "Well Brandy this is it…..Dont mess it up with Bandit…..3 years of helping him and it all leads up to this day. I never thought it would happen". The red heeler said to herself. She grabbed some lip gloss from the counter and put some on her mouth. She didn't want to wear full-blown makeup, because it reminded her of when she actually partied all night. She tried her best to find the right man for her, But they all left her for the same reason.
Her infertility
She stood there and looked at herself, stuck in her mind. Thinking about all her past decisions that led up to this moment. But the main reason she was even here to begin with was because of her mistake. It was her fault for being here, all because of her loneliness. She remembered that day as if it was yesterday. She was starting to have a flashback.
"KNOCK"
"Are you ok Aunt Brandy? Dad is ready to leave us in juniors house. Are you ready?". Bluey said banging at the door, which shocked Brandy. "yes Bluey, I'm just using the bathroom". She said with a fake laugh, she shook her head trying to forget about the day. Brandy took a deep breath and let all her stress out. "just don't fuck up". She said walking out of the bathroom and walking up to the living room where the rest of the heelers were waiting. Bandit noticed the small amount of lip gloss on Brandy's mouth, And it just made her more beautiful than she already was. "Ready love," Bandit said to her, Brandy smiled at the blue heeler, her cheeks were red from embarrassment. Bluey smiled seeing how in love they were. Bingo just looked down away from them.
"Yes, Bandit I'm ready". Brandy said getting closer to the blue heeler, and using her head to brush the fur on the side of his neck, making Bandit flustered. "H-h-hey, Calm down, not in front of the kids". He said gently pushing her away from him. "But we should go, Theresa and Marcus are waiting for us". Bandit said as he opened the door. But when he did, Theresa and Marcus were already there right at the door. "good even heelers, We were just wondering if you guys decided to go with us to the concrete". Theresa said, even though she already guessed they were ready to go to the concert. She was wearing a full red dress with a black belt holding her waist. Marcus however was simply wearing a black tie.
"Y-yeah we're ready, you said that you had a babysitter taking care of the kids". Bandit said a little dumbfounded to see the couple already ready to go out to the concert. "Yes, she's inside our house taking care of our kids. We can just go drop them off, so we can both get our date started". Theresa said as she got behind Marcus and gave him a backwards kiss. She started to rub her ass on his crotch, and he hugged her back. It was very inappropriate. It was making Bandit and Brandy uncomfortable, Bandit slowly moved his hands to cover his kid's eyes.
After leaving the kids with the babysitter the adults got in the elevator, And headed downstairs. Towards Marcus' car, it was a large blue truck that had the American flag on the right side. "This truck is huge mate". Bandit complimented the Doberman, and Marcus smiled. "It's still not as beautiful as my wife". Marcus said, winking at Theresa. The Doberman walked up to the truck and opened the door for the blue and red heeler. Bandit and Brandy sat in the back looking around the truck, it was well taken care of. "Thank god I'm not driving tonight". Bandit said, smiling at Brandy. She didn't smile back. "I don't even wanna remember that day". Brandy said, looking out of the window. "Hey I wasn't as bad as that corgi driving the clutch van. Now that was bad". Bandit said, shaking his head.
Marcus started up the truck, and he drove out of the parking lot, straight into the street, heading down to the concert. At first, the trip was quiet. Theresa was on her phone texting her friends. Marcus turned up the music, and stayed concentrated on the road. Bandit and Brandy however were quietly talking in the back seats. "so…..Be honest with me, how long have you liked me like that? Because if I'm honest I started liking you for…almost a year and a half". Bandit said looking embarrassed while smiling at Brandy. "2 years to be honest" Brandy said, not looking embarrassed. They both giggled at the idea of having a crush on each other for so long. "Honestly I was waiting for you to make the first move, but I never thought you would develop feelings for me……because of…..you know that day". Brandy said, now looking embarrassed.
…….
"Honestly I never thought about that day ... At Least not too much about it. It wasn't your fault, things just happened….. But it was mostly my fault anyway. The only real reason why I didn't say anything sooner, is because….and I don't mean this in a bad way. But it felt as if I was replacing chilli with you. It felt wrong, But at the same time, I wanted to move on…..I'm sorry, if you took offense to that". Bandit said, rubbing his hand. "No… Bandit, I was thinking the same thing honestly. But It's just……". Brandy looked at Theresa and then got closer to bandits ear. "I was kinda pressured to say it, By Theresa but honestly it was mostly by Bluey…..She said she wanted a new mum, And that she wanted it to be me". Brandy said
………..
"She made the right choice then…… Honestly I can't see any other dog to be with me. But you were always the best choice, bluey never stopped talking about you". Bandit said laughing a little, Brandy was so close to him. Her lip gloss was so appetizing, he couldn't help but get the urge to lick his lips. He wanted to kiss her so badly.
"We're here"!
Theresa said as Marcus parked in the large parking lot. Bandit snapped out of it and looked out of the front window. He could see the concert was huge. The sun had finally set, and purple lights were flickering on and off. About 300 dogs were waiting for the singer to come out. Bandit and Brandy didn't really have any idea of what song they were going to hear. All they knew was that he was very popular And that his name was Ghost. "ready for our date love", Brandy said offering a hand to Bandit. Bandit looked down at it. He's been waiting for this day for a long time. "lead the way, babe". Bandit said
They all got out of the truck and began to walk towards the main entrance, Luckily the line wasn't as long since the concert was about to start. "It's kinda crowded don't you think". Bandit said to Brandy, He looked behind himself to see that Theresa and Marcus were nowhere to be seen. "hey where's Marcus and Theresa". Brandy said as she was being shoved by multiple other dogs. Everyone was trying to get as close as possible to the stage, Bandit was about to lose sight of brandy. But he caught her arm and pulled the red heeler closer to him. "let's try and stay close". Bandit said keeping the red heeler close to his side, Brandy didn't mind it though.
"BEEP"
……..
The lights had turned off and it was all quiet, some dogs were murmuring with one another trying to figure out what was going on. Bandit and Brandy stood close to one another, holding hands.
"vroom"
The lights slowly turned on, it was a purple neon glow. Streams of light touched all the dogs, they were cheering excited to see a dog rising from the floor, it was a Weimaraner dog. His body was silver grey, covered with black paint, to make him look like a ghost. He slowly lifted his head and raised his arms to show his fans his ghostly appearance. They all cheered for him, as fog surrounded him. That was when the music began to play. And beside ghost were the drummers and other musicians. They began to play a joyful melody, as the lights bounced all over the place.
We were speeding together Down the dark avenues But besides of the stardom All we got was blues
All the other dogs began to dance, Bandit however stood there in awe. It was a very beautiful scenery. Brandy started to tap her foot, getting hypnotized by the music.
"But through all of that sorrow, We were riding high And the truth of the matter is I never let you go, let you go"
Brandy let go of bandit's hand and walked up a bit away from him, singing the melancholic music, with the rest of the dogs with her hands on her chest.
"We were scanning the cities Rocking to pay the dues But besides of the glamour All we got was bruised"
Bandit saw how the other dogs were dancing. Some were dancing with their girlfriends or boyfriends. Others were dancing alone, The blue heeler got into the rhythm of the music. and started to dance,
Mary on a cross: by ghost
"But through all of that sorrow, We were riding high And the truth of the matter is I never let you go, let you go"
Brandy turned around and saw bandit dancing, lost in the music, she walked up to him and grabbed him by both his hands.
"You go down just like Holy Mary Mary on a, Mary on a cross Not just another Bloody Mary Mary on a, Mary on a cross"
Brandy looked directly into bandit's eye, singing the theme of the music. They were slow dancing to them, Brandy continued singing the music.
"If you choose to run away with me I will tickle you internally And I see nothing wrong with that"
Brandy then rubbed her head all over the blue heeler's furry stomach, until she reached up to his face. And his the bottom of his chin with her hand. Looking at him with tired happy eyes. But some dog accidentally bumped into them. This made them lose a bit of balance, but they regained the balance and continued to dance together to the theme.
"We were searching for reasons To play by the rules But we quickly found It was just for fools"
This was the perfect night for the red heeler, she was happy to be with bandit. And the fact that he did feel the same for her made it just a bit better. There was nothing that could ruin this night. The way the blue heeler's eyes glowed in the dark made her smile even bigger.
"Now through all of this sorrow We'll be riding high And the truth of the matter is I never let you go, let you go"
Just about 10 feet away from the 2 heelers, Marcus and Theresa were dancing really fast, pulling in and apart from one another. They spun for a good amount of time, making Marcus dizzy. But out of the corner of the rottweiler's eye, she saw the two heelers dancing. They both had tired eyes looking at each other. That was when the rottweiler had an idea. She spun her husband one more time, successfully avoiding other dancing dogs. Until she got right behind the blue heeler she used her back to push him closer to brandy. making them kiss.
"You go down just like Holy Mary Mary on a, Mary on a cross"
They were both shocked when they kissed. Looking at each other's eyes, their eyes were both glowing in the purple light. It is magical, after all this time it leads to this, the perfect kiss.
"Not just another Bloody Mary Mary on a, Mary on a"
Their hands were just inches close to each other. Their hands were shaking in place, But bandit had the courage to grab her hand and continue to dance.
"You go down just like Holy Mary Mary on a, Mary on a cross Your beauty never ever scared me"
Bandit spun her around, a sudden rush of adrenaline helping him move faster than what his age should have been moving. Spinning her and pulling her closer to him. When she got closer she kissed him again and had tears in her eyes. Her joy was unexplainable.
"Mary on a, Mary on a cross"
Bandit spun Her as hard as he could, this time letting her go. About 10 feet away from him, and they sang the song together.
"If you choose to run away with me I will tickle you internally"
