"we're getting married"

Said Bandit and Brandy wagging their tails as they celebrated the good news, however, Bingo was standing still trying to see if she heard her father and aunt right. Still spilling the soda on top of the table. They were both getting married. The one female she hated was gonna marry her father. The one dog that explained her past as a whore, the one dog that was trying to replace her mother. The red heeler dropped the soda twitching her eyes as she felt a wave of anger hit her.

"NO"

The red heeler yelled as she forcefully dropped the soda bottle on the table. She walked up to the couple and slapped the diamond ring off their hands. "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE MY MOTHER, YOU ARE NOT GONNA REPLACE HER"! Bingo said, pointing her finger at the older red heeler. This was the first time she had shown her anger towards her aunt, in years. Brandy being hurt by the words of her niece, backed away from her. "AND YOU, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT DATING A WHORE, WORSE, EVEN MARRYING HER"! Bingo said, turning her gaze at her father, scowling at him. Bandit also took a step back, but unlike Brandy who was hurt, he was starting to get mad. Bingo saw this and instead of backing down, she continued to argue with him. "Bingo I do not like your tone of voice, calm down please". Bandit said putting his hands up as if was a barrier towards him and his daughter.

"What do you see in her that makes you wanna replace my real mum. Or do you just wanna have a bitch around to fuck". Bingo said, getting her face closer to her fathers as she scowled at him. Bandit was starting to grit his teeth hard, gripping his fist harder than ever. "go ahead hit me, I know you want to you Big blue sh-

"WHACK"

Bigo fell to the side she couldn't even see the slap, The red heeler had a burning sensation on the side of her head. She lifted her head a bit shocked to see that her father wasn't looking down at her. But to his side, looking at Brandy who was rubbing her right hand. She was angry at her niece walking up towards her and pointing her finger right at her face. "YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT HIM". Brandy said, looking down. At the red heeler, they stared at each other, but Brandy's scowl left her face when she began to feel sorry for the young heeler. She tried to get closer but Bingo just stared her down trying her best not to cry in front of her. She quickly got up, and looked at brandy in her eyes. "YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MOTHER, YOU WHORE". When she finished her sentence She ran upstairs to her room. Shutting the door as hard as she could.

The only sound in the house was silence as everyone was left without words to say. Dougie ran up the stairs following his friend to her room. Bandit looked back at the diamond ring that the red heeler threw in the ground. He went up and grabbed it looking at it with sympathy. Brandy was rubbing her hand feeling bad for what she did to the little heeler. She lifted her head to see Bluey walk up to her hugging her aunt, brandy returned the hug.

Mackenzie looked at Bluey and signaled to her that he was gonna leave. By pointing his thumb at the door, not really wanting to be part of the family drama. The Blue heeler nodded and Mackenzie began to quickly walk away to the door, opening it and slowly closing it behind now being outside of the house. In direct contact with the pizza delivery boy. "Hi I'm Alfie and I'm here to deliver this pizza". The dingo said, showing off the pizza in his hands. Mackenzie sighed, taking his wallet out of his large coat of fur.

Back inside the Heeler house, Dougie was walking through the hallway peeping into Bingo's room. She now lived in the baby room. She moved out from her sister's room 1 year ago telling her father that she wanted to have more of her own privacy. Mostly because Mackenzie would sneak at night and make out with her sister. Bingo eventually got tired of hearing them calling each other the stupidest names ever while their lips were smacking one another. Even Bingo wouldn't have snitched on her sister, but she was getting close to it before she moved rooms. There wasn't much in the red heelers room, just a bed with pink sheets, a stand with a TV, and a desk with a laptop. She had some plushies in her wardrobe, Turtle Boy was on it, Shaun the emu, and the ripped-up plushie that looked like chili, that brandy fixed. But it wasn't there this time, he looked forward and saw a lump on the bed.

Dougie knew bingo was under there and walked up to her sitting on the bed and trying to think of the right approach. She knew he was there but the red heeler didn't bother moving. After a few awkward seconds, Dougie then tried to lift the bed sheets off the red heeler, she didn't even try to resist and let the brown cavapoo lift the pink blanket from her. She was curled up and covering her face with the bandana mask. Bingo had the red heeler plushie on her chest hugging it, dougie just sighed and petted the red heeler on the top of her head. "leave me alone". Bingo said with one hand, she sobbed quietly feeling emotionally hurt and frustrated. But even then Dougie didn't want to leave, he wanted to comfort his friend. He untied the bandana from the back of her neck, taking it off her face and looking her eye to eye. "I don't understand why you hate your aunt so much. And did you act so angry to your dad, he almost could have hit you. You could have gotten hurt even worse Bingo". Dougie asked her in Auslan, she moved her eyes away from his and scooted her body closer to his leg curling up her body like a cat.

Dougie waited for a response, but none came, she just wanted him to be close to her. Dougie sighed, and just patted her back, Bingo moved her head on his lap. Surprising Dougie a bit, he still looked at her with sympathetic eyes, Bingo's ears were down, and she then responded to his question. "I've told you this before, she's not my real mum, she's my aunt and it just feels like my dad is replacing chilli". Bingo said with her hand. Dougie had heard the same response over and over again. And yet he did understand what she was saying, But why would she still have hate even after all these years? He wanted to ask her, but he felt like he would just make the situation worse. So he just sighed again, still not knowing what to do, he just laid his hand on the top of her head scratching her fur, it soothed Bingo as she closed her eyes. Feeling a little better having Dougie by her side.

Later that night, Dougie had already left the heeler house. It was all quiet, Bingo and Bluey sleeping in their respective rooms, The blue heeler slept comfortably in her sheets, while the red heeler was scratching her muzzle in her slumber. It was a habit she made in her first year wearing the muzzle. The red heeler was still holding the red heeler plush.

But however, the only ones who were still awake were Brandy and bandit. They were in their own room, lying on the bed. Brandy lay where Chilli used to, now staring at the ceiling in the dark, As Bandit did the same under the sheets thinking about what happened. Brandy felt horrible for hitting her niece in the face, She didn't want to but even then bingo never called her a whore. She hated being called a whore, it reminded her of her past when she was desperate to have someone in life to fill that emptiness she felt, but they always left her and she would always go looking for another. "Brandy". Bandit said as he shifted his eyes toward his girlfriend, Brandy did the same and looked at Bandit. "I'm kinda glad you slapped Bingo". He said tapping his finger on his stomach brandy gave him a confused look, A bit weirded out by his response. She would have thought he would have been at least a bit mad. "I know it sounds weird but, if you didn't hit her. I would have actually beat the shit out of her. I mean I didn't want to it's just that I was so fucking angry at her. That I was thinking about it, I don't know why I keep on thinking like that. It's been years, but I'm still the same". Bandit said putting his hands on his face feeling like a bad dog.

"I still didn't want to hit her bandit, Even then I should have expected her to react like this…..she never liked me, well when we….. First met she did but now she thinks that I'm trying to replace Chilli". She said, there was a bit of silence among the two heelers. "w-well, I used to think the same thing to be honest. But when we went on our first date, it didn't feel wrong anymore. Because I loved you for who you are and not because you're related to Chilli…..or, well let's not talk about it. I want to start acting like a different dog, I'm not gonna get angry at anything anymore". Bandit said shifting his body closer to Brandy as they now stared into each other's eyes. "And how are you gonna do that, babe". Brandy said, getting closer to his face, licking him on the nose. It was a way she filtered with the blue heeler. "By hanging out with my Mackenzie and getting to know him better". Bandit said, about to give Brandy a big kiss on her mouth.

"pffttt"

Brandy tried to hold in her laughter, but she couldn't. She even spat on Bandit's face. "Bandit you're joking right, You always want to punch him right in his face. Or you just kick him out of the house, "literally", Brandy said remembering how one time he caught Bluey trying to help Mackenzie escape from the backyard. He was struggling to get over the fence, so Bandit, already mad, ran up behind the border collie and kicked him as hard as he could on his ass. The black and white dog ran as fast as he could while having his hand on his ass feeling a horrible pain. "You know I don't get it, why do you hate Mackenzie being with Bluey but not Dougie being with Bingo. I mean Bingo says she doesn't like him like that, But it's pretty obvious that she does". Brandy said, as she got closer to the blue heeler's chest and started playing with his chest hair. "Well, there is a reason, I've talked to Dougie before. He's a good kid, but he doesn't like bingo like that, He told me…..well he wrote on his phone. That he doesn't like her, because he doesn't think she would even want to be with him. That she would rather be a dog that can actually hear. Instead of some deaf dog like him". Bandit said, feeling a little bad for the cavapoo. He still had more respect for Dougie than he did for Mackenzie.

"Poor kid, But who knows maybe Bingo will make the first move. In my opinion it looks as if Bingo is the one wearing the pants in the relationship". Brandy said, as she looked at her boyfriend with lustful eyes. "but mine are off". Bandit said as he began to squeeze Brandy's asscheek, he bit his lips feeling lustful for her. They then got their lips together feeling their tongues intertwine.

It was a very eventful night.

The Next morning, the sun rose as it hit the Heeler house. Sunlight entered Bingo's room hitting her in the face, Bingo opened her eyes and covered her head with her sheets, not wanting to get up. She stayed in her bed for a while, hearing her family walking around the house. It annoyed her to hear Brandy's happy voice talking to Bandit, but at one point it got quiet and that's when she had peace. She never really did anything on Saturday, having only one friend gave her a lot of free time. She even thought about looking for a job, but then again since she was a biter. She was most likely to not get hired, so she planned on waiting until they removed the muzzle off her permanently.

"creak"

Her door opened, and the red heeler lifted her head from the covers to see who entered her room. It was brandy holding a plastic plate filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. She also had a cup of orange juice in her hands with a straw. Brandy smiled at her niece walking up to her, Bingo however scowled at her. She groaned and turned her body away from the older red heeler. Brandy walked up and placed the plate and juice on her desk, walking up and sitting down on Bingo's bed next to her. "Hey Bingo, are you feeling any better". Brandy said holding the red heeler's shoulder, bingo brushed it off and scooted away from her. Brandy returned her hand, not trying to find a way to talk to the young heeler, but she couldn't really find any excuse for slapping her in the face. Brandy played with her finger looking around the room. "Look, I know what I did was wrong, and I know you don't like me because you feel like I'm replacing your mother. But I'm not Bingo, I do love your father, And I know I will never be like chilli. But I hope you can at least forgive me, and if you don't want to, that's fine. I don't deserve it, I'm sorry bingo". Brandy said getting up and walking towards the door. Taking one last look at bingo as she left the room and closed the door.

After she was gone, Bingo waited a few seconds and then got off from the bed sitting where Aunt Brandy was. She groaned and got off, she could smell the meat from her desk. She picked up the plate and was about to throw it all in the trash, But she stopped herself. When she felt a rumble in her stomach from smelling the food, it was so delicious. She missed the taste of bacon in the morning, but she controlled herself and used a pencil from her desk to push the sausage and bacon off her plate. Only leaving the scrambled eggs on the plate, she placed the plate on the desk. Beside the key for the muzzle, she grabbed the key and placed it behind her muzzle. Unlocking the square lock, The heeler put the key back on the desk. She took in a deep breath, and slowly took the muzzle off her head. Feeling every inch of pain, until it came off.

When it was off she breathed again, throwing the muzzle on the floor. "she's lucky that her cooking is good," Bingo said as she lifted the plate from her desk and began to eat it, without even bothering to get a fork.

In the main living room, bluey was on her phone texting Mackenzie, relaxing on the couch. Since she couldn't go and visit him, they were both tasting each other on a way to sneak him in tonight. Bluey still had her pink off-shoulder shirt, she never really took it off unless she had to wash it. But even then she had other colors of the same shirt. Bandit then walked into the room with a smile on his face. "Hey Bluey what you up". Bandit said as he laid his hands on the couch, bluey turned her phone off and looked up at her father. "well nothings really up, since you grounded me and now I can't see my boyfriend". Bluey said, sounding annoyed, but Bandit kept his smile. "Well guess what for today you can invite him over, And I promise not to get angry at him in any way or form". Bandit said, surprising his kid, bluey sat up excited yet confused about her father's change. "Why I thought you hated him And didn't approve of him as my boyfriend?" She said, raising an eyebrow, not certain what her father's plan was. "do it, I have absolutely no issue with it". Bandit said walking away, leaving her still wondering why her father was allowing her to invite Mackenzie. She however shrugged it off and took her phone texting Mackenzie to come over to her house.

Later Mackenzie was walking up the heeler's porch, at first he was hesitant. But since he was now allowed to hang out with Bluey without having to worry about her father that much, or getting kicked on the ass again, he felt more comfortable.

"knock"

"knock"

Mackenzie knocked on the door waiting for someone to open it. He then saw the door handle turn, revealing it to be bluey. "Hey Pookie"! She flirted with him as he walked up and hugged her, "It's good to see you honeybun". Mackenzie said as they hugged each other, bluey kissed him on the top of his head. They would always give each other baby names, playing around with one another. It was their way of showing they loved each other. "So what do you want to do today babe". Bluey said giggling and playing with his fur, "Actually me and Mackenzie already have plans today". Said another blue heeler, The two teenage dogs looked behind them, to see Bandit wearing a flat sun hat, holding 6 fishing rods, a tackle box in one hand, and a cooler in the other. Smiling at the couple, which confused Mackenzie and Bluey. "what"? The border collie said, as Bandit walked up to them dropping his gear and putting his arm around Mackenzie invading his personal space. "Me and Mackenzie are going on an all-day boys' trip to fish for some baras, That's why I told you to invite him". The male blue heeler said as if it was a normal conversation, Mackenzie was however confused, scared, and weirded out. "Um actually I have plans for the day so I think I'm going to head o-

But before Mackenzie could get out of Bandit's arm, the blue heeler tightened his arm and cut him off, the border collie couldn't breathe. "Nonsense mate, come on we should get going plus we get to be together for the whole day". Bandit said dragging the border collie, while choking him, somewhat not on purpose. He picked up the fishing gear with one hand, including the cooler. And walked down the stairs heading to his car, bluey just stood there not understanding what just happened. She just walked back inside and closed the door, hoping that wanted to stop her father but he was already in the car. Driving down the hill and leaving the blue heeler all by herself. "He's not gonna make it out alive". Bluey said to herself, shaking her head. Brandy then poked her head out of the house seeing that Bandit's car was no longer parked in front of the house.Oh they're already gone". Brandy said walking beside her niece, bluey looked at her aunt. "Hey Mum, why is my dad forcefully taking my boyfriend on a fishing trip? '' Bluey said looking at her aunt, Brandy smiled back, it always made her happy when Bluey referred to her as mum. "Well bandit wants to try and bond with Mackenzie, He said he is tired of always being mad at your boyfriend". She answered her niece.

Bluey just shook her head and walked back inside her home, leaving Brandy outside by herself. "Might as well give them a visit". She said to herself as she walked towards her car. When she got in she turned her vehicle on and drove down the hill.

Back with Mackenzie and bandit, the blue heeler was quietly humming, while looking down the road with a smile. Mackenzie however was in the corner of the passenger seat, still confused about what exactly was going on. He still remembered the times the blue heeler had shown very aggressive behavior to him. Too many times to count to be exact, he remembered one time when he actually laid a sticky trap for the border collie, he was stuck there for an hour until Bluey found him. "So Mr heeler, where are we going first"? Mackenzie asked, getting more comfortable in the passenger seat, Bandit kept his eyes on the road with the same unnatural smile. "Well first we're going to Hammerban, to get some bait, plus I've been meaning to get a nice-sized boombox for a while before we go on the fishing trip. Oh and I got something for you mate". Bandit said as he reached into his pocket, taking out 70 dollars and offering it to Mackenzie. "What is this for Mr. Heeler"? Mackenzie said as he counted the money, weirded out by his gift.

"It's for you to buy a fishing rod, and some candy if you want". The blue heeler said as he made a turn to the parking lot, Bandit parked his car, turned it off and both of them began to walk towards the automatic doors. "Oh and what was that song you were humming". Mackenzie said, trying to make a conversation with the blue heeler. Bandit turned around looking at him with a smile. "Oh it's just a song I like to hear, it's pretty good, I'll show you when we get to the location". He said as they both walked down the isles until they made it to the fishing isle where a bunch of fishing equipment was located. "Hey Mackenzie, go look at which rod u want while I go get the bait". Bandit said pointing to the fishing rods, Mackenzie nodded and walked toward the rods. Bandit walked up to the counter where a Jack Russell dog was waiting by the counter wearing a pink hoodie. She looked bored waiting for someone to buy, or ask for help.

"Excuse me ma'am but could you give me some worms and frozen baitfish"? He asked the jack russell, she looked up at the blue heeler glad to finally do something besides looking at her phone. "Yes, sir, we should have some in the freezer". She said as she walked towards the freezer grabbing what the blue heeler asked for. When she came up he read her name tag, it said summer. Mackenzie walked by the blue heeler holding a blue fishing rod. "Hey, Mr. Heeler, I got the rod". The border collie said he was also holding a bag of beef jerky. As Summer began to scan the items, Bandit noticed a "help wanted" sign beside the counter, saying that they needed new employees. He then thought about bingo and how she had talked about looking for a job. So the blue heeler took a picture of the sign and sent it to his daughter to see if she was interested.

When they finished paying for the rod, the bait, and the beef jerky, Bandit and Mackenzie went to the electronic section where the blue heeler grabbed a blue boombox, and paid for it, when they were done they began to walk away towards the exit.

But as Bandit walked through the automatic door he looked behind to see a black and white German shepherd wearing a black hoodie, and talking to a smaller dog with a pink nose and long hair over her face. He paused for a second, thinking it was Shaun, but even he knew he wasn't sociable.

But it was Shaun, He was talking to Sophia, she was on her break. "So how has work been, you've been looking more tired than usual". She said, noticing the bags on the German Shepard's eyes. "Yeah I've just been working late hours, we've been getting a lot of patents lately. It's almost nonstop". Shaun said rubbing his eyes as he drank what remained of his energy drink, he didn't usually drink caffeine unless he was exhausted. "You really shouldn't drink that, it's bad for someone your age". Sophia complained as Shaun continued to drink, until the can was empty. "Yeah, I know but it keeps me awake for a while". He said as the pink-nosed dog gave him an annoyed look. "Have you been eating more, and not just eating the same old stale sandwiches". She said, poking him in the stomach, shaun flicked her finger off his stomach, she has done it before it never bothered him it just became a habit. "to be honest I haven't eaten much, not because I don't want to but because of work". Shaun admitted slowly closing his eyes.

"Well, I have an idea how about you and I go to a restaurant tonight. I'll even pay, just so you can eat enough and to you know….relax and talk". Sophia said, smiling at the German shepherd. Shaun shrugged and nodded his head. "Sure, I haven't gone to a restaurant in a while," he said as he took out his phone, giving her his number.

Back with the blue heeler and border collie, They had just arrived at the spot. It was deep in the Australian woods, where a clear river ran through the woods. The only things that were visible for miles were the trees and the grass. Bandit then took everything out from his jeep and laid it near the bank. Mackenzie helped him set everything up, Bandit even taught him how to tie a fishing knot, and how to tie a Carolina rig. They set up the rod holders and then the rods, and lastly the chairs so that they could relax. Now the 2 dogs were sitting down in the shade, waiting for anything to bite their rods. Mackenzie still couldn't believe it, he was beside the same blue heeler who kicked him in the ass, who would have probably kicked him again if it wasn't for Brandy yesterday. He was still thinking in his head why he was so calm right now and, more importantly, why did he want to be with him. "Hey mate, could I get some beef jerky?". The blue heeler asked the young border collie, Mackenzie, to look at the blue heeler. The sheepdog grabbed his bag of salted meat and opened it just for the blue heeler. "Thanks, mate". Bandit responded as he grabbed a piece, Mackenzie zipped up the bag. "Hey Mr. Heeler, I was wondering why did you bring me out here. I thought you hated me"? The young border collie asked.

Bandit looked at him directly in his eyes, this time his smile fell. "well to be honest with you kid, yesterday I was about to lose my shit with bingo, I mean you saw it, I was about to beat her. The only reason I stopped was because Brandy slapped her. And then well it got me thinking, I can't be acting like that anymore. Every Time I get angry I want to hurt someone in the worst way possible. And I felt that when you started to date bluey. I don't even know why I hated you for it, maybe because I'm still angry that you said that Bingo was acting like my dead wife. Maybe because I felt like you disrespected her, and I never got over it". Bandit said, starting to realize that he has been holding a grudge against Mackenzie for an understandable but stupid reason. "So basically I want to bond with you and try to not get angry anymore, and you know get to know you better so "if '' you marry my daughter I wouldn't get angry and you know, try and kill you". Bandit said casually, making Mackenzie scared, that's when Bandit realized his mistake in wording. "I'm joking, I'm joking, sorry I got caught in the moment". Bandit said almost jumping at the border collie making Mackenzie jump out of his seat. "Ok I'm sorry kid, I really did not mean it". Bandit said getting up and helping the border collie up from the ground. "N-n-no it's alright Mr Heeler, I understand". Mackenzie lied with the fakest smile he could make, trying not to trigger the blue heeler.

"You know what, I have to go and take a piss in the woods. mind watching the rods for me"? Bandit asked as he began to walk up to his car, Mackenzie just nodded and sat down back on his chair. kept his eyes on the fishing poles, not wanting to make eye contact with the blue heeler. Bandit however did turn around, making sure he wasn't looking. That's when he went to the side door opening it and grabbing a box, and a small shovel that was beside it. He looked back to make sure he wasn't looking and then continued to walk into the woods where he wouldn't be seen. When he made it deep inside where he couldn't see the car, he stopped and began to poke the ground looking for a soft spot. When he found it he began to dig with the shovel as quickly as he could. When he made the hole about a foot and a half deep he grabbed the box and placed it in the hole.

He looked up one more time making sure the border collie wasn't around. Bandit then opened the box, and looked at it without saying a word.

……

"Hey, It's been a while, But I'm not doing this to replace you. I will never forget you".

………

"but it's time for me to move on, it was a mistake taking you from the coffin. If there is a heaven and you're looking down at me, I'm sorry chilli".

He said to the severed hand of his dead wife, He closed the box and began to cover the box with dirt. Still keeping his eyes up making sure no one was looking. When he was done he patted down the dirt, he grabbed some tall grass, and covered the dirt just to be sure. Bandit stood up looking at what he had done, he took in a deep breath, and let all his stress out. He began to walk forward not looking back, this was the last physical piece of his wife he had with him.

"bandit"

Said a voice behind him, it sounded just like his wife, whispering his name. But the blue heeler ignored it, continuing his path, with a determined face.

"bandit"

She repeated, the voice was starting to get to the blue heeler. He stopped in his tracks and curled his hands into fists.

"bandit"

The blue heeler then quickly turned around, expecting to see a mangled hallucination of his wife.

But it wasn't

Instead, it was chilli, she was normal, not pale, not missing her hand, or covered in blood. It was just her before she had cancer, no paleness in her skin. The red heeler looked at her husband with a smile, Bandit couldn't move and didn't know what to think of the situation. Chilli slowly tilted her head at her husband, the comforting smile she had, never left her face.

"Thank you"

She said to her husband, as a gust of wind came and blew her away to dust, as it scattered in the wind. Bandit fell to his knees, feeling a large weight relief from his body. A tear left from his eye, a wave of emotions hitting him.

Down in a field on the road that is in the middle of nowhere. Brandy had been driving for a while, wearing her earphones hearing her music. She was driving for about an hour until made it to a graveyard. Hundreds of tombstones where dogs were buried, some died of old age, others died of medical reasons, some just died young. Brandy got out of her, holding 3 flowers as she walked down the aisle tombstones. Until she found the three she was looking for, when she did she paused and stared down at them, it was her family.

"Mort"

"Katherine"

"Chilli"

Brandy sighed and laid down the roses, one for each grave, she stood up and looked down at the graves holding her hands on her stomach, trying to find the right words to say to her dead family.

"Hey mum, it's been a while, just letting you know I'm doing ok. Me and Bandit are getting married. And I've been taking good care of Bluey, you would love to meet her. Bingo has been acting up lately but I understand why. She never really liked me ever since she was 8, I thought she would grow out of it. I just hope we can bond in time". She said, to her mother, Brandy then turned her body towards her sister. "Hey chilli, I still miss you, Bandit still talks about you from time to time. I hope you don't think I'm replacing you. I do love Bandit, And he loves me, even Bluey does. I promise to take care of them, we all miss you sister". Brandy said looking down with a sad face, she turned her body to face morts grave. She however didn't have anything to say to him, she wanted to. But considering how much pain she caused him when he killed himself, she could never forgive him. Mort was the only family she had left, but he took his life too soon. Now she was an orphan, with no family, the only people she had left that she did care was Bandit, bluey, and bingo.".Brandy then heard footsteps in front of her, the red heeler looked up, surprised to see a blue heeler standing in front of him holding two roses.

It was stripe, he was now older, with more gray hairs on his body, he had a tired emotionless look. They were both staring at each other, stripe then walked to two specific graves not that far where Brandy's family was, placing the two flowers in their respective graves. The blue heeler stood up staring at the graves not saying a word. It has been a while since brandy talked to stripe, he always visited the heeler house every now and then. He usually brung muffin with him, sometimes he didn't, and just needed to talk to his older brother. He would occasionally talk to brandy, no longer being the mad dog he was, he was just calm. Brandy then walked beside the graves and got by the blue heelers left side. "Hey stripe how have been". Brandy said making light talk to the blue heeler, stripe never moved his gaze. "I've been fine, I'm just here just visiting the girls. Are you visiting your family?". Stripe said, still not looking away, brandy looked up to the blue heeler. "Yeah im just visiting my sister, and parents, I do this every time i have free time". She said looking back at the grave of her dead family. "Yeah I do this often, Wendy is taking care of Muffin for me". Stripe responded, he sighed looking down at the two graves.

"I still miss Trixie, she was the love of my life, even after the events of the hospital I took care of her. Even though she couldn't walk, we still had fun together, I never imagined losing her like this". Stripe said, his face then changed into a smile remembering the good times he had with his dead wife. "You know I never told you about this, Has Bandit ever told you about the broccoli incident". He said turning his head towards the red heeler, Brandy was a bit surprised by his reaction, the red heeler shocked her head. Stripe then looked forward remembering the funny but horrible experience. "It was 10 years ago, everytime she bought broccoli from the store she put the vegetables in the fruit basket. I would always tell her that why would she put them in the fruit basket. And she would respond by saying that fruits go in the fruit basket, I was trying to explain to her that broccoli was a vegetable. I even showed her on google, but she was so confident, I eventually gave up and let her do what she wanted. Eventually she got into a fight with one of her friends, and somehow it went to court. And well when the judge got an expert on plants to explain to her that broccoli was a vegetable, she finally believed it. Losing the fight in court, it was all over the news, and she was embarrassed. Believe it or not she was crying all night feeling embarrassed, the whole neighborhood was making fun of her. But i never made fun of her, I was mad that i had to pay so much money because of the paperwork, But i could never be mad at her". Stripe said, still smiling remembering the incident in perfect detail, he even began to giggle. Brandy who listened to the whole story was also giggling.

But she stopped when she started to hear him cry. The blue heeler had his eyes shut, hiccuping, sad that he hasn't seen his wife in 6 years. Stripe fell to his knees and hugged both of the graves, one saying trixie heeler, and the other saying Socks Heeler. "You didn't deserve this"! Stripe said, as he continued to cry, brandy felt horrible. Walking up to the blue heeler and rubbing his back trying to comfort him.

"Brandy, do you, th-think there is a reason we are all going through this, do you think god is looking down at us and making us suffer just for his own entertainment. What horrible god would want to watch his own creation suffer like we do. WHY COULDN'T WE JUST LIVE A PERFECT BEAUTIFUL LIFE". He yelled, Brandy however didn't say anything, because there was nothing to be said. She used to be a christian and believe in the holy spirit, But she stopped believing when everything started to go horrible in life. Stripe was right, why couldn't they all just live "a perfect beautiful life".

Socks was knocked out, she had bite marks all over her face. But her eyes were opening up, it was dark and only a bit of light was visible. She got up and looked around trying to see where she was. All she could see was darkness around her, until she saw a hole with a bit of green light. She got up feeling pain in her neck. It was as if something dragged her around. She still kept her guard up, making sure her mother, or what used to be her mother wasn't lurking around. She took light steps walking towards the light, the floor was wet and it smelled like shit, but she was determined to get out. Each step was wet, and squishy, she didn't know what it was but she couldn't care less. But when she got closer to the light the ground was now visible, and the blue heeler could see what she was stepping on.

It was the dead bodies of dogs, all types of dogs, of all ages. Children, elderly, there were even babies mangled with their organs spread out, there was one where she could see the inside of the skull, she saw its brain and shattered skull. Its head looked like a deflated beach ball. Socks stopped in her tracks and threw up from the scenery, terrified, scared, and in shock.

"Thump"

The blue heeler looked up to see an even worse sight, It was Trixie staring down at her daughter. Socks couldn't move, she felt piss slipping down her leg. Trixie rolled down her eye, looking directly at her daughter. Trixie then rolled her eye back into her skull, not needing to see. The blue heeler was in a corner anyways, nowhere to go, or run. Trixie began to walk down the small tunnel towards socks, the blue heeler didn't even scream, she just ran back to where she was hitting the end of the wall. Trixie didn't even bother to run, she continued to walk at a steady pace. Socks were hyperventilating and the shadow of the white heeler was no longer visible; the only thing she could see was her mothers glowing eye. Socks closed her eyes expecting the worst, waiting for the white heeler to kill her.

……….

But it never came, she didn't feel any pain on her body, it was a good while, socks then opened her eyes to only seeing darkness. For a second she felt relief but yet where was the white heeler. Her question was answered when a glowing eye opened right in front of her.

Trixie jumped on top of her daughter and her back on the ground. The white heeler opened her jaw and bit down on the blue heelers snout shaking her head violently cracking the bones in her snout. Socks felt a horrible pain not being able to scream, as Trixie growled.

"CRACK"

That noise wasn't just the cracking of her snout, it was her nose being ripped off from her face. Trixie swallowed it, tasting the sweet blood of her child. Socks was coughing and blood was leaking from her bleeding nose. The blood flowed down her throat, choking her. She had tears flowing down her eyes feeling a fire like pain where her nose used to be. When trixie ate her daughter's snout she looked down at her daughter, the same kid she raised for years. Caring for her, feeding her, and loving her, now she was just prey in her glowing eyes. Trixie opened her mouth one last time, spit and blood around her teeth.

"MOMMY"!

Was the last word she ever said as trixie dropped her mouth onto the blue heelers skull crushing her soft skull, brain juice and blood exploding everywhere.
