Knife

"Just 2 more weeks and I'm done with this stupid muzzle". Bingo said as she began to scratch her neck uncontrollably. Right now she was in her car, in front of Hammerban. She was 5 minutes early for her first job, The red heeler was genuinely surprised that they hired her so early. Then again Hammer Ban has been known to also be a rehabilitation program, where they hire mentally ill dogs, or dogs with addictions so that they could get back into society. So bingo having her muzzle wasn't much of a big problem. And since they needed more workers to help around, it was a perfect opportunity for the red heeler. She looked at her phone. It was 3:55 pm, She sighed and got out of the car walking up to the store to the entrance.

A female great Dane and her child walked through the exit. The young child waved at the red heeler, using the manners her mother showed her. Bingo walked up to the entrance and waved back at the kid, But the mother then saw the muzzle on her face, she pulled her daughter closer to her side, eyeing Bingo with disgust. The red heeler then looked back forward, groaning in annoyance, she looked up at the inside of Hammerban. She didn't know where to go so she walked up to the cashier area, looking for a worker to help her. That was when she saw the pink-nosed dog, with the red and black sleeves, looking at her phone again waiting for customers. Bingo sighed and just walked up to the older dog. "Hello ma'am, I don't know if you remembered me but-". Before the young heeler could finish her sentence, Sophia put her phone down and jumped up in excitement. "Oh hey Bingo! You must be here for the job, Congrats, and welcome to Hammerban, we're so happy to have you in the family". Sophia said getting up and rapidly shaking the red heeler's hand, surprising and weirding the red heeler out. When she was done, Sophia went up to the cash register and grabbed an apron. She ran up to the red heeler giving it to her, Bingo grabbed it, looking down at it. " From now until your shift is over you have to wear this apron to show that you work here". The pink-nosed dog said tapping Bingo on the shoulder.

"Ok, Um thanks ma'am ''. Bingo said as she tied the gray apron around her waist. She had to tie it really tight since it almost didn't fit her. "Please you can call me Sophia, I don't like being called ma'am, It makes me feel old". She said, as she felt her hair knowing that she had gray marks. "Alright well, um, Sophia, I was wondering what new workers normally do". The red heeler said, still looking at her apron, Sophia then remembered something she had for the young heeler. "Oh, I got one more thing for you". She said putting her hand in her pocket and taking out a rectangle piece of material, she offered it to the red heeler. Bingo was still annoyed that she didn't answer her question, But she took the material from her hand and took a good look at it. It was a name tape, where she could attach it to her apron. "Bingo," It said on the name tape, she looked up at the pink-nosed dog. "Th-thank you". The young heeler said as she put the name tap on top of her velcro. "Normally, workers have to buy it themselves but since you're new here and I wanted you to feel welcomed, I got it for you for free". Sophia said, patting the red heeler's back.

"Alright then c'mon I'll show you what you have to do, Since you're new you'll do the easy job". Sophia said as she waved for the red heeler to follow her. They walked around to the backroom of the building where they kept their extra supplies for when they ran out. The whole room was giant with endless supplies of food and equipment the customers could need. The room had grey walls with the ceiling not having a cover to hide the foundation on the top. "This section is mostly for the food, But the frozen food is down there towards the end of the hall". The pink-nosed dog said pointing at the giant metal doors, "That's where we keep our fish and frozen meats". Bingo could smell the scent of the meat from the giant freezer, It made her stomach turn, causing her to cringe. "So all you have to do is just check to make sure that there are enough supplies for the customers to buy. And if you see that we are low, just go in here to get more. But if we eventually run out, write it on a piece of paper of what we're missing, And give it to me so I can give it to the boss. And he can order more, and that's pretty much it, too easy right". Sophia said, looking back at the red heeler, Bingo was still looking at the freezer, her eye was twitching a bit. "Hey Bingo are you alright". Sophia said as she walked up to the red heeler, Bingo then got out of her trance. "I-I-I'm good, sorry It's just the muzzle". Bingo said lying and getting a bit worried. Sophia looked at her a bit suspiciously. But then sighed, feeling bad for the red heeler. "Do you want me to explain it one more time, just to be sure". The pink nose dog offered, Bingo nodded her head, still trying her best to ignore the smell of flesh coming from the freezer.

After Sophia was done explaining to the red heeler, Bingo left the storage room and began to look around Hammerban making sure they had enough in stock. She eventually found boxed food that needed to be restocked, she went back to the storage room, trying her best not to breathe through her nose and take in the smell of the freezer. As she restocked around the store she would pass by some dogs she knew from her school. Every time they saw her they would avoid eye contact, and they would try to quickly get away from Bingo's sight. , bingo didn't even react, she just acted like they weren't there. But in reality, she was just trying not to get her emotions hurt. She could see some of them whispering at each other. Occasionally she could hear them laugh at her, But like always she just tried to ignore not letting it get to her head.

The young heeler was just about to head into the storage room again. She then received a message on her phone. The red heeler took her phone from her pocket. It was Sophia messaging her.

"Hey Bingo, Just letting you know, you can take a 1-hour break. Meet me in the break room, it's near the cashier area".

The pink-nosed dog then sent an animated gif of an anime dog with long red hair, and wearing a weird space suit, waving at the viewer.

………..

"What" Bingo said out loud, particularly to no one, She shook her head and turned off her phone. Beginning to walk towards the break room. She was walking around the T-shirts, she looked to her side for a second, and that's when she saw her. It was Harley with Jasper w, and Sadie, it looked like they were buying groceries. But for the little red heeler, all she could concentrate on was Harley. For Bingo it was all in slow motion, she scowled at the black and white blood, feeling a boiling sense of hate towards her. But what made it worse was that she had an apple in her hand, Sadie then turned her body towards the red heeler, smiling at her with the most disgusting facial expression. Sadie then put the apple close to her mouth and took a big bite from the apple, taking a sweet and juicy bite from it not breaking eye contact with the red heeler. Bingo began to grit her teeth, even her pupils got thin, feeling nothing but anger towards the black and white dog, she even began to drip saliva.

"Excuse me, ma'am". Said a little voice

"WHAT" Bingo yelled at whoever was talking to her, Still feeling nothing but anger. But that anger left her body when she looked down to see the same little great Dane she saw a while back when she entered Hammerban. But when she yelled at her, she had a tear rolling down her eye, now feeling terrified of the red heeler. Bingo snapped out of it feeling horrible for yelling at the young dog. "I-I-I'm sorry kid, I didn't mean to yell at you". Bingo said crouching down to her level, the young dog was still a little scared, But she then walked up closer to the red heeler. Bingo turned around to see Sadie. It was still the same black and white dog, but she wasn't holding an apple, or looking at bingo directly in the eyes. "I must have just imagined it". The red heeler said to herself, as she then looked back to the young brown Great Dane. "Where's your mum, kid"? She questioned her, The brown dog began to play with her fingers. "We came back to the store, because my mum forgot to get some cleaning supplies, and when she wasn't looking I left to go see the toys and I got lost"! She said as she moved up to Bingo and hugged her for comfort, Bingo tapped on the little dog's back, surprised she wasn't scared of her because of the muzzle. "It's ok kid, I know how to look for your mum". Bingo said getting up and holding the young kid's hand, guiding her to the cashier area. "Believe it or not, But I got lost one time because I wanted to go see the toys. And I went up to this place so that they could get my mum". Bingo explained as the great Dane looked at her with curiosity. "What did they do to find your mum"? She asked Bingo.

"What's your name kid"? Bingo asked as she grabbed a mike from the cashier counter. "Marrisa" The great Dane answered, Bingo then turned on the mike.

"Would the mother of a great dane who got lost, please show up at the cashier area. The name of the child is Marissa".

Bingo said as her voice was heard throughout the store, The young Great Dane giggled. "Could I use the mike, ma'am". The young dog asked while wagging her tail, every time the kid called her ma'am it made Bingo feel like an old woman, it bothered her but then again. Marrisa was just a kid and was using her manners, "Sure". Bingo said, giving the mike to the young Great Dane.

"H-Hello, my name is Marissa, And uh…….I am 8 years old. And I like my school, and, and, and I made a new friend today. Her name is……..". The great dane looked up to the red heeler waiting for an answer, bingo rolled her eyes, but smiled, tapping on her name tape. "Her name is Bingo", she said on the microphone, giggling happily to hear her voice. Bingo then took the microphone away from her. "MARISSA" yelled an older great Dane, she ran up to her daughter surprising her. "MUM"! The younger great Dane yelled as she embraced her mother's hug. "I'm so happy that I found you, But you are grounded for a whole week"! She said angrily at her kid, But it was because she was scared for her young daughter. "Awwww, but mum"! The young dog complained, putting her head down. The older Great Dane then looked at the cash register where Bingo avoided eye contact from the mother. The great dane looked back at her daughter and then walked up towards the red heeler. "Hey……um, Bingo, I saw you when I was about to leave. I'm sorry for the way I acted towards you. It's just the muzzle scared me, thank you so much for getting my daughter, here's a tip". The great Dane said as she took out a 100-dollar tip for the red heeler. Which surprised her, the great walked away, as she and her daughter waved at bingo.

"Well at least I got paid," Bingo said as she began to walk away towards the break room. The room was small with a table in the middle of the room. There were cabinets filled with food, and a fridge. She began to tap on the table not really knowing what to do. She grabbed a chair and sat down beginning to look through her phone. "Hey, Bingo". Sophia said as she put her hands on her shoulder scaring the red heeler, making Bingo get up from the chair. "Dude what the hell". Bingo said, looking angrily at the pink-nosed dog. "My bad Bingo I just wanted to know how you are liking the job so far". Sophia said, wagging her tail, Bingo sighed annoyed by the pink-nosed dog's kindness. "Well ... .So far it's easy, And it's nice getting out of the house, instead of doing nothing. So for now it's pretty good, And I appreciate the name tape". Bingo said, tapping at it, sophia nodded her head satisfied by the response.

………

"So……How long have you been working here, Sophia?". Bingo asked, wanting to have a bit of a conversation with the older dog. "Oh….well I have been working here for 20 years believe it or not". She answered, surprising the red heeler. "I started when I was 19, I was in the rehabilitation program that Hammerban does after an…..Incident". She said, looking a bit down when she said "incident", making bingo tilt her head. "What type of incident"? Bingo asked not knowing she was touching on a personal subject. Sophia's whole attitude changed, she was no longer cheery and her smile left. As her eyelids fell halfway, She began to take her sleeves off, one by one. Revealing her arms. Bingo's eyes widened a bit when she saw wide scars along her wrist and arms, they weren't even cuts, they were jagged. "After high school, everything felt so…..wrong, I felt lonely, Honestly I didn't know what was going on. I was alone in my rook one day and I just……grabbed the kitchen knife. It wasn't even the sharp one, it was the jagged one, I just couldn't stop, until I passed out". She said as the pink-nosed dog began to put her sleeves back on. "Honestly when I started working here I hated it, But It keeps my mind away from those horrible thoughts. And it helps me socialize with other dogs, Like Shaun". Sophia said as her smile came back, thinking about the black and white German shepherd, she even began to blush just thinking about him.

"I'm sorry for asking Sophia, I didn't know". Bingo said embarrassed that she asked a personal subject to the pink-nosed dog. "Nah, It's alright, well since you asked me about a touchy, May I ask how did you get your muzzle and what happened to your ear. But if you don't want to, that's completely understandable". She said getting a chair and sitting down looking at the red heeler. Bingo sighed, as she sat on the table thinking back on when they discovered her taste for blood. But Sophia did have a right to know, but Bingo wasn't gonna go too deep into detail. "It was about 6 years ago, I was 8, and well, I started to develop a taste for blood. One time I was alone and I bit down on my hand so hard I tore through the skin. I hid it from my family by telling them the bathroom window fell on me and the glass cut through my hand. After that I was more careful, I bit myself hard enough to cut a vein so I could bleed just enough to satisfy me. It was so……Juicy, and flavorful, I just couldn't get enough of it". Bingo said as her stomach began to grumble, Sophia got a little scared.

"And occasionally I would find dead animals on the ground, and I would get into this primal state where I couldn't control myself. I got on all fours and walked like an animal. I hid it for 3 years until we went to a barbecue and my aunt cut up a bloody iguana. I volunteered to take the parts to the trash can. But I went to the bathroom and ate the parts. I had a plushie that I was very attached to, and we'll……my cousin tore it up, and when I walked out of the bathroom, I was already in that primal state. So I got pissed off and began to attack my cousin. She used some scissors and cut a chunk off my ear, so I took a bite from her cheek. My dad luckily came in time, and kicked me in the stomach before I could kill someone, And well the law says that any dog that has become a biter has to wear a muzzle for a certain amount of years". She said, sounding annoyed by the last sentence as she began to get an itch from her neck. Sophia felt a bit frightened by the red heeler, she just recently noticed the scar on her hand, and another on her neck, she gulped, and got the courage to interact with the red heeler. "So why didn't they just sew your ear back on? And how long do you have to wear the muzzle"? The pink-nosed dog asked, Bingo then scratched her neck feeling a bit embarrassed. "The issue is that I ate my ear when my cousin cut it off, and in 2 weeks Shaun will take the muzzle off". She responded

"Oh……Well I'm sorry to hear that, Bingo, I bet you're excited to get that crap of a muzzle off right" Sophia responded with a smile, causing Bingo to sigh, in a good way. Thinking about her being free from the disgusting muzzle, gave bingo energy to keep on going. "I'm so close, and yet the last days feel longer, I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable with my whole backstory". Bingo said looking away from the pink-nosed dog, Bingo then felt a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright kid, we all have our issues, no one is perfect. I'm here for you, believe it or not, Shaun too, he always talks about you". Sophia said, tapping on the red heeler's shoulder, making the red heeler feel a bit more comfortable." He does, I always thought he was an emotionless bastard". Bingo said, causing Sophia to giggle, she twirled one of her long hairs, with her finger. "He may look like it, but he does care about you. He told me when he saved you from almost bleeding to death. And that he was genuinely worried that you wouldn't make it". Sophia said, causing bingo to grow a smile on her face, it made her feel wanted, and actually worth something. "I'll be back. I have to use the bathroom, If you want to make a sandwich there is bread in the cabinets and mayonnaise, ham, and cheese in the fridge". She said, as she walked out of the room, leaving Bingo all alone. Bingo looked at the fridge feeling her stomach begin to growl.

She got off the table and walked towards the fridge. She grabbed the mayonnaise and cheese, closing the fridge, not bothering to look for the ham. She then placed it on the counter, and grabbed the bread from the pantry. The only thing she was missing was a spoon to get the mayonnaise from the jar. She looked through the cabinets, but paused when she saw a utensil. It wasn't a fork but a silver dull knife. The red heeler's eye twitched a bit, she hesitated to grab it. But when she did all she did was stare at it, her hand shaking.

"Thump"

She used the front end and began to stab the counter.

"Thump"

"Thump"

"Thump"

She began to think about the day when she almost killed herself

"Thump"

It was 4 years ago, Bingo and Dougie were in school sitting at the cafeteria lunch table by themselves. They were having a good time playing a card game that said 1 in Spanish. Dougie had a half-eaten chili dog on his plate and a carton of milk. Bingo on her plate had some strawberries and cheese sticks. Dougie and Bingo were staring at their cards, and it was Dougie's turn, He placed 2 blue cards down and moved his lips to say, "Uno" " causing Bingo to moan in annoyance, she hasn't won in 5 rounds. She still had 7 cards in her hands. "You suck at this game, Bingo". He said with his hands, raising an eyebrow at the red heeler. Causing bingo to get even more angry. Dougie then took one last bite from his hotdog, causing the brown cavapoos stomach to groan. He held his stomach feeling as if it was gonna explode. "I'll be back in 5 minutes". He said with his hands, as he got up and ran quickly to the bathroom. Leaving the red heeler by herself. Bingo smiled, feeling happy that her friend was in pain, But mostly because the comment he said hurt her feelings. She then looked back at the cards and had an idea. She grabbed 6 blue cards from the stack and one black card. "This is gonna be funny". She said to herself as she laid down her cards.

She then grabbed the key from her pocket and placed it in the keyhole unlocking her muzzle, She gently took it out and placed it on the table. The room then got quiet, every kid was now staring at her. It was always awkward when she took off the muzzle. She felt so weird and the red heeler could see her used to be friends whispering bad things about her. Bingo took in a deep breath and grabbed one of her cheese sticks, trying her best to ignore the rest of the dogs. The little heeler was about to take a bite from her food, trying to enjoy her meal.

"Thump"

She felt a hard object hit the top of her head, it hurt the young heeler. Bingo opened her eyes to see an apple on the table. Someone had thrown a whole apple at Bingo's head, trying to hurt her. She looked up to see Sadie standing on the table. It was more than obvious that she had thrown the fruit at the red heeler. Bingos was hurt, not just physically, But emotionally, but before she could even respond, Sadie said something that the red heeler would never forget.

"BITER"

She yelled as she grabbed her milk carton and threw it right on Bingo's chest, it exploded and got all over her fur. And it was almost as if every other young dog had the same idea. They joined in with Sadie. Throwing food at the little red heeler. Some threw milk, chocolate milk, hotdogs, chili, sloppy joes, burgers, and more at Bingo. All over her face and body, Bingo got up, but slipped on the floor from the milk, making her an easier target as the children continued to throw more food at her. "LEAVE ME ALONE". Bingo cried as tears rolled down her eyes, she crawled into a ball, sobbing loudly. Some of the other dogs even grabbed their hard plastic food trays and threw them right at the heeler's body. Now physically hurting her, even bruising her. One of the trays hit her right in her back causing her to scream out loud. They all began to yell horrible things at the red heeler.

"YOU'RE A MONSTER"!

"YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN"

"YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER"

"YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED"

Bingos curled tighter into a ball, hearing everything they said. Her pupils constricted, and she gritted her teeth feeling stressed out, beyond belief.

Dougie was walking back towards the cafeteria, not being able to hear the children's death threats to his best friend. But when he got a view of what was happening he sprinted into action and ran to help Bingo, He covered her with his body, trying to stop the food from hitting her. He got a good look at Bingo's eyes, she was shaking from the stress, and gritting her teeth as hard as she could. He felt the food hit him in the back, making him feel something he normally never felt.

Anger

"STAWWPPPPP" The Brown cavapoo yelled, this was the first time he ever said a word from his mouth. Causing the other young dogs to stop throwing food at her, surprised to hear dougies voice. "Leab, Bingo awon". Said the cavapoo out loud, he was out of breath, Normally deaf dogs didn't talk, because they could never hear. But when they grow older, they find out what sound is. But they could never talk normally, so most just stayed quiet. Dougie turned his back to the red heeler, who was equally shocked. Dougie grabbed Bingo by hand and lifted her back to her feet. He guided her out of the cafeteria, taking her to the principal's office, as she continued to sob, her body now covered with food.

Later, Bandit had just parked his car in front of the school. He was beyond pissed for hearing what happened to his kid. He slammed his car and quickly walked inside the building heading directly towards the principal office. He made a turn and saw the door to the office, and beside that door was his daughter now wearing her muzzle, and covered in junk. Dougie was helping her by using paper towels to clean off the food, he got a good amount off her, But there were sauce, and milk stains all over her, and even her bandana was covered in ketchup. She had her knees up to her chin, "No, Bingo". Bandit said as he went up and hugged the red heeler, Bingo whined like a dog and hugged her father, hiccuping, trying her best not to cry more. He looked down at the brown cavapoo, and slowly said thank you with his lips, Dougie nodded in approval. "Mr Heeler". Bandit turned his head around to see a black and brown Dachshund, wearing a suit, and glasses. It was Snickers' father, he was the principal of Bingo's school. "What the hell happened to her, There is no way you guys are allowing this type of bullying to my daughter". Bandit said as he entered the room and closed the door behind him. Snickers' dad walked back to his seat, and sat down on the chair. Putting his small hands on his desk, he looked stressed out.

"Mr heeler I know that what happened today was….. unacceptable, But I actually had a talk with the kids and why they did it". He said looking at Bandit, The blue heeler however did not care. "What reason would a bunch of 10-year-olds want to gang up on my daughter and throw shit at her face. I should be suing their families and even the school. Why didn't the lunch ladies stop the BRATS"! He yelled out the last part, causing Snickers' dad to gulp in fear, "The lunch ladies were taking their 30-minute break, and no one was there at the moment for when it happened. But please you have to at least listen on why they did it". The dachshund said, sounding even more worried. Bandit didn't say anything; he just had a scowl on his face, as he crossed his arms waiting to hear what the principal had to say. "Look, remember 2 years ago, when the whole incident happened with Trixie heeler…..Well, she killed over 50 dogs in less than a week. And well, Sadie organized the group of kids, so that they could attack bingo". He said taking a sip of water he had on his desk, Bandit began to grit his teeth feeling angry that, the little shits had already planned to hurt his daughter. "WHY"! Bandit yelled as he slammed his hands on the desk, Causing the sausage dog to flinch in fear. "I-I-Its because……the kids who attacked her lost either one parent or both to Trixie heeler, because she killed them". Bandit stopped gritting his teeth, and looked at Snickers' dad with curiosity. "They hate your family mr heeler, They are angry for losing their family members. So in some way, they wanted to get revenge by hurting your daughter, There is no excuse and I know it. But at least try and see it from the children's perspective". Bandit then backed off from the sausage dog, he was still mad. But even then he didn't want to make a bigger scene.

"Sadie lost both of her parents, she was just angry, But even then I suspended the kids who were involved in the incident for 2 weeks. I told their families to make sure to discipline their kids, to make sure it will never happen again. But just to be certain, I think it's better if you or a family member comes and picks Bingo up from school. I don't think she feels safe in the cafeteria anymore". Snickers dad said, really hoping that the blue heeler wouldn't have another burst of anger. Bandit was now looking to the side, at the ground, Just thinking. "Did Sadie lose both of her parents", He asked the Dachshund, the sausage dog sighed feeling bad. "Yes, she lost both of her parents, Mr. Heeler". He said, sighing, and looking up towards the blue heeler as he opened the door about to leave.

"Good, she didn't deserve them".

Bandit said, slamming the door as hard as he could.

The Blue Heeler eventually made it back to his house, parking his car and getting out, along with his daughter. She had her head down not really wanting to even talk. Bandit put his hand on her back to try and comfort her as he opened the front door. When they entered Brandy and Bluey walked up to the duo, Bluey at the time had a purple shirt. When Brandy saw just how dirty, and sad the little heeler was, she quickly ran up to her. Giving Bingo a hug, The red heeler embraced the hug. "Oh my god, who did this to you". She said, trying to scratch off the stains off her face. "Come here Bingo we're gonna give you a shower". Brandy said as she picked the little heeler up. "Bandit could you do me a favor and make dinner for tonight, make sure it's Bingo's favorite". She said kissing him on the cheek and taking the red heeler upstairs.

"What happened to Bingo dad"? Bluey said holding her father's arm worried for her little sister, Bandit sighed and got on his knee to Bluey's height. "Listen kid I'm just letting you know this, if some asshole goes up to you and starts talking shit. You are allowed to beat him or her up, I won't even be mad at you Bluey''. Bandit said tapping Bluey on the shoulder, making the younger blue heeler more confused. "Now come on kid, let's go to the store and get some crab legs". Bandit said as he walked towards the door, Bluey followed him, leaving Brandy and Bingo in the house alone.

Upstairs, Brandy had gotten a hot, bubble bath ready for the young heeler. "How many minutes left do you have on your mask, Bingo". Brandy said as she turned off the water, Bingo was sitting down on the floor. "About 40 minutes, Aunt Brandy". She said quietly as she felt the cut on her right ear. Bingo then grabbed the key and unlocked the muzzle, she placed it on the floor, as her aunt picked her up and placed her inside the bath. Bingo then took off her bandana and placed it on the side of the tub. "You're still wearing that bandana even after all these years". Brandy said, trying to make small talk to the little red heeler, as she gently brushed her face trying her best not to touch the marks the muzzle left on her face. Bingo didn't want to talk right now; she looked away, shaking occasionally from just thinking about what happened back at the cafeteria. Brandy noticed this and sighed, as she continued to get the red heeler clean. "Poor kid," she thought to herself. Eventually, Brandy got all the stains off her fur, the only thing that was left on her body were the noticeable bruises the kids gave her from throwing the plastic trays at her.

Later that night, Bingo was in her bed, holding Turtle Boy in her arms looking at the ceiling in her room. She couldn't sleep, it was after midnight and the events of today still haunted her. She twitched every now and then. She would forcefully shut her eyes, but when she did, Bingo began to silently cry, she gritted her teeth as hard as she could, but the stress was just too much for the little heeler. She began to hiccup again, feeling her blood get tighter in her veins, and the muzzle on her face just worsened it for her. Bluey however was in a deep sleep, not even noticing the horrible breakdown her younger sister was having.

But then she snapped

Bingo didn't scream, or cry out loud, she got up and gave a blank look to no one. Her pupils shrunken, and her eyes red, The red heeler got off her bed and quietly walked towards the door, her blank expression not changing one bit. Bingo walked down the stairs and to the kitchen, where she picked up a small stand to get closer to the counter, where the knives were placed in the corner. She picked out the largest and sharpest knife from the knife holder. Bingo jumped off from the stand and then quietly began to walk up the stairs, again, her expression not changing as she twitched. She walked by the bathroom and closed the door, as slowly as she could. She then locked the door, and turned on the light. She stood in the middle of the bathroom, just standing there, looking at nothing. The red heeler was thinking about all the choices she had made in her life that led her up to this moment. The good, and horrible memories made her twitch. Her grip on the knife began to tighten as her hand shook. she began to breathe through her nose, at first it was at a slow steady pace. But in time it became quick and unsteady, She gritted her teeth as hard as she could. Bingo grabbed the key from her pocket and quickly unlocked her mask as she threw it on the floor. Still breathing uncontrollably.

She then lifted the tip of the knife 1 inch away from her throat, She gulped as she slowly moved it closer to her neck, her whole body was now shaking and twitching uncontrollably. When she gulped she felt her neck touch the edge for a quick second, she could feel just how sharp it was. It was more than enough to pierce her throat and make her bleed out on the carpet, so that there was no chance she could be saved this time. She survived being stabbed by a piece of wood, but even then there was always a part of her where she wished that she had died 2 years ago. And now this was her chance to end all her misery. It was just the only option in bingos mind, why must she suffer like this, when she could just hurt herself one more time to never feel anything ever again, To never have to go to school again, to never have to deal with Sadie, she would never have to deal with her father who replaced her mother, To never wear the horrible muzzle on her face, to never see……….Dougie. That was when she hesitated for a second. She didn't want to leave her only friend all alone in this world. But then again, he could always find another friend. Friends are easily replaceable, just like her father did to her mother.

She then placed the knife's tip right on her throat, feeling the sharp tip, as she was about to use all her force to put the knife in her throat. This is what they wanted right? This is what they wanted right?

This is what they wanted right?

This is what they wanted right?

……….

"This is what they want"

Bingo then removed the knife from her throat and dropped the knife on the floor. A realization hit the red heeler, She grabbed the fur on top of her head as she gripped it with all her strength. This is what everyone against her wanted, They wanted her to be gone, so that they would never have to see her face. They wanted her to die, And if Bingo would kill herself all her enemies would get what they wanted. The little heeler's frown turned into a smile, as she picked up her muzzle and placed it back on her head. Her eyes were twitching uncontrollably as she tried her best to control her laughter. She picked up the knife and unlocked the door, turning off the lights. As she headed down to the kitchen returning it from where she got it from. She began to walk upstairs, still trying to control her laughter. "No matter how bad my life gets if I cannot kill myself. Because if I do….They get what they want". Bingo said through her teeth, as she walked inside her room and lay on her bed. She grabbed her pillow and shoved it onto her face, now being able to laugh as hard as she could. She giggled, she snorted, and cackled, But luckily the pillow hid it from everyone.

"Thump"

"Thump"

"Thump"

Bingo, eventually stopped stabbing the counter, She sighed, no longer angry. Instead, she opened the mayonnaise jar and began to make herself a ham and cheese sandwich. When she was finished eating her food, she took her phone out and saw that she only had 5 more hours to work and she was done for the day. "Might as well get it over with". She said as she walked back to work.

Later that night, Bingo was driving back to her house. She was a bit tired from working all day, But she was happy that the day was almost over. Bingo yawned as she made it to the top of the hill, she parked her car and got out walking towards the front of her door. But she stopped when she heard music coming from the back of her house, She raised an eyebrow and walked to her backyard. It was Bandit and Mackenzie having a barbeque, grilling the fish that they had caught a while back Bandit had a beer in his hand while Mackenzie had a soda, they both sang in harmony.

"Well, I Won't Back Down, No I won't back down you can stand me up at the gates of hell But I won't back down. Gonna stand my ground, Won't be turned around, and I'll keep this world from dragging me down Gonna stand my ground, and I won't back down".

It was a weird sight for the red heeler, Mostly because Bandit had once thrown a cricket bat at the border collie when he discovered he had snuck in the house. The scary part was that he barely missed him, and it shattered one of his windows, And now they were singing as if they were close friends. Bingo rolled her eyes and walked back to the front door of the house, She opened the door with her keys and walked inside. She began to walk up towards the stairs, not really bothering to talk to Brandy or Bluey who were watching Bandit and Mackenzie from the window, glad to see both of their boyfriends having a great time. The red heeler eventually made it inside her room, she walked up to her bed and fell on her mattress. Feeling the comfort of her sheets, it was barely even 5 pm, But she was tired, feeling her eyes get heavy as curled her body into a fetal position, slowing her breath as she closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

But as soon as she closed her eyes, she opened up to see that it was early in the afternoon. Which confused the red heeler, because she could have sworn that it was late in the evening. Did she sleep for a long time? So she got up, but felt something odd on her body. She looked down to see a dress, a long pink beautiful dress. "What's going on"? Bingo said to herself as she looked in the mirror to see her dress, It sparkled when the light hit it, making it shine beautifully. But that wasn't what distracted the red heeler, When she looked up at her face. She no longer had her muzzle on, She didn't have the scars from the leather, and her fur looked normal. "She began to touch her face, not believing what she was seeing.

"Bingo are you ready", said Bluey who walked inside her room, she no longer had the pink shirt she always wore. "B-Bluey, where's my muzzle"? Bingo questioned her sister, which confused the blue heeler. "What Muzzle Bingo you never wore a muzzle, you're not a nasty biter". Bluey said walking up to her sister grabbing her by the arm, and taking her downstairs, Bingo began to look around the house. She noticed something was out of place, but she couldn't put her finger on it. But that was when she saw the family pictures, Brandy was no longer there

"Mum"

Bingo said, as she noticed that all the house photos now had Chilli, And none of them had brandy, or her muzzle. When she walked down the stairs, there was a sight she never thought she would see. "Mum", Bingo said again, as she saw not just her mother, But, Trixie, And socks, and muffin. Chilli had a bit more gray hair on her, but besides that, nothing changed. "Ready for your first prom, Bingo". Chilli asked as if she was alive the whole time, "Ooooo Bingos got a big date today". Socks said

"This episode of Bluey is called, " Bingo's Big Date". Muffin said out loud with her hands in the air confusing Bluey, but Bingo was too concentrated on her own mother. "Mum," She said a third time as tears rolled down her eyes, as she ran up to hug her mother. "Whoa, Bingo you're acting as if you haven't seen me in ages''. Chilli said giggling, as Bingo felt her back, it felt so real". Bingo then lifted her head to see her mother in her eyes. It felt like it had been years since she smiled, Chilli looked at her daughter in her face. "I'm so proud of you bingo, I love you". She said giving her a kiss on the head, The young red heeler did not want to let go. "C'mon, Bingo the limo is waiting for you, And your fiance". Trixie said as she looked through the curtains. "What", Bingo said in confusion. That was when Chilli grabbed her by her hands. "Come on sweetie Dougie is waiting". She said, guiding her daughter through the front door where a black limo was waiting for her.

"D-Dougie".Bingo stuttered as the door opened to reveal the young brown cavapoo wearing a suit and tie. "Ready, Beautiful". He said with his hands, flirting with the red heeler. Bingo's face was red, a good amount of emotions were hitting her, It all felt so perfect. "Bingo make sure to tell him to bring you back before midnight, And no funny business is allowed". Chilli said as she walked back to the house, leaving Bingo feeling nervous, still blushing uncontrollably. Dougie then walked up to the red heeler, grabbing her hands as he took her in the limo. Bingo's face looked like a tomato, she started to sweat a bit just from her face. Dougie guided her inside the long car, the inside was a beautiful black, and lines of white light from the corner. There was even a cooler in the middle filled with juice. Bingo tried to communicate with Dougie, but she couldn't process everything so she messed up a bit of her fingers. "Dougie couldn't understand what she was saying, so he started to communicate with her. "Bingo, Take a deep breath, It's ok I know you're nervous babe. But don't worry I'm here for you". Dougie said with his hands, causing Bingo to calm down a bit.

The Window in the middle of the front of the limousine dropped down to reveal Dougie's mother, driving them down the seat. "Y'all ready for prom". She said winking at the young dogs, Bingo had her mouth wide open, She felt as if she was gonna faint. She did fall but on Dougie's lap, The red heeler looked up at the brown cavapoo, who winked at her.

"SSSSCRRSSSSHHHHHHH"

The limo came to a halt, They had made it to the front of the school. "WERE HERE KIDS, Have a nice night, And Bingo no funny business". The older cavapoo said as the 2 teenagers got out, Miranda then put her foot as hard as she could on the petal and drove as hard as she could. Bingo still in disbelief looked around her school. It had balloons, and there were dogs wearing suits and dresses, walking inside as the sunset.

"Hey Bingo"

"Wassup dawg"

"Congrats bingo"

Said her classmates who were once afraid of her, it felt weird that no one was aggressive or angry towards the red heeler. Bingo even felt her face again to make sure the muzzle was off.

"Hey Bingo, ready for the prom"

Said a way too familiar voice, Bingo turned around to see a sight that was almost impossible to believe. It was Shaun the black and white German shepherd smiling at the red heeler. And beside him was.

"Brandy"!

Bingo said out loud, feeling confused and shocked, The older red heeler was holding the German shepherd's hand, Bingo could see they both had rings on their fingers. and beside the couple a small black and orange German shepherd kid. "Hey Cousin Bingo, aren't you gonna say hi to your uncle and aunt". The little mixed breed said pointing to her parents, Bingo then looked back at the couple. "Uncle Shaun", Bingo said while cringing, as Dougie waved at the couple. "Hey kiddo, just came to say bye, Me and your aunt are going on our 25th anniversary". Shaun said as he kissed his wife, Brandy lifted her foot, happy to be with the German shepherd. "You have such a beautiful smile, Shaun". Brandy said, playing with his fur. "Mum, Dad, You're embarrassing me in front of Bingo's future husband". The young mixed breed said, stomping her foot, and Bingo's face turned red again. "Alright grumpy pants, Cmon shaun we should get going. Our sunshine might get angy again". She joked to her daughter as the couple left giggling.

Bingo was dumbfounded, confused, and scared, But Dougie grabbed her by her hand and they both ran inside the building. Dougie brought her to the gym, where all the other teenage dog couples were dancing. Lights were going crazy as the music kept on getting louder. Bingo looked around, trying to understand what was going on. But she then felt something touch her chin, pulling gently to see Dougie's face. "Are you ready?" Dougie said with his lips, Bingo's face once again turned red, as the brown cavapoo held her back with his hand bringing her closer to him. The loud music became calm now as the room got dark, and the lights were now all gone.

"BAM"

But one blue light shined on the couple, The whole room was dark and the other teenage dogs were no longer visible. Slow music played as Bingo moved Bingo around the room, They were slow dancing together. Dougie even though being just an inch smaller than Bingo spun her around including her dress, as he brought her back to him. Keeping his hand on her back, Bingo's breathing calmed down, she no longer felt stressed, But at peace with the brown cavapoo. Both their eyes glittered as they danced around for what felt like hours. It was the most peaceful experience the red heeler has ever had. She couldn't even remember that she wore a muzzle, or that she was a social outcast. Bingo's eyes got tired, Dougie then tipped her over and held her just by her back. His nose was right on Bingo's nose, their lips were just inches close. They both leaned closer to one another about to give each other a kiss. Bingo couldn't believe it, this was what she wanted, It was perfect, with no flaws or errors. This was the perfect, beautiful, flawless, life she had always wanted.

She closed her eyes and leaned closer to Dougie's lips.

…..

But they never made contact with one another, which confused the red heeler as she opened her eyes. To see that he was no longer there, Instead, she was now all alone, with the light shining at her. "Dougie," she said out loud, waiting for a response, but no one answered.

She then heard a rustling from her back, She turned around as a green wave of liquid crashed down on the young heeler. It was a disgusting foul stench as she tried to swim up, but the light was gone, As the disgusting liquid was moving her around like a wave. She couldn't breathe and felt like she was gonna drown. She tried to scream for help, but who was gonna help her.

"BLEAGH"

Bingo opened her eyes as she threw up in her bed. The moon was shining in her room, it was the middle of the night. The red heeler got up still feeling as if she was gonna throw up again, But instead, she fell on her own floor.

"BLEAGH"

She continued to throw up through her muzzle, some of the hard chunks got stuck on her muzzle because of the wires. She used all her strength to throw up, But when she felt she was done, another wave of stomach acid came from her throat. By the time she was done, she fell on the floor on her own half-digested food, it wasn't much anyways the young heeler barely ate, causing her to feel nauseous. But the worst part was when her stomach began to cave in on herself, craving for food, but more specifically, meat. As Bingo was trying to catch her breath, she could feel the muzzle on her face, she wanted to cry. But she was in so much pain she couldn't bear it, all she did was groan in pain. Everything she saw before waking up felt so good, But why did it even matter?

It was all just a hopeless dream
