Chapter 18: Rescue Training

Kold's POV

I never really got to address it, but how did Mr. Aizawa captured us when he is covered in bandages, not to mention, most of his upper body is practically visible with bandages that I swear moving in it would be difficult. That's a pro for you, when everything comes to shove they will drop everything just to stop something, and that includes fight amongst students.

4 weeks have passed during that initial fight at the USJ, and now in another two weeks or so another fight will come to start in our lives and that is the UA Sports Festival. This is undoubtedly one of the most famous events that the nation knows, it may even pique the interest of other people around the globe.

However, now we are facing one of our duties as heroes and that is rescue training. Debatably, I was unsure at first with the teachers are still recovering from their injuries. I think they must have moved this training to a much later date. Preferably after the Sports Festival, but I think the school thinks this is a necessity in every hero to know the basics in rescuing any civilians, or heroes in the state of chaos.

"How about we start the rescue training?" 13 suggested which was pretty surprising seeing the pro in his /her feet after his /her injury with the teleporter guy. I'm not really sure if the pro is he or she, but for my sake, I'm going to just identify the pro as a female.

"We're ready to begin class. Let's start early, we're already wasting time as it is" Mr. Aizawa recommended and I completely agree with my teacher the early this thing starts the early we will finish and that in turn makes me early to clean the school, and maybe have enough time to make myself a hefty dinner.

"Mr. Aizawa, I thought there were supposed to be 3 instructors in this training? Is All Might still coming?" Midoriya asked, and I don't really get what's his deal with him and All Might. They both act like they both know each other personally and in fact, I think they are in speaking terms, not just student-teacher relations, but maybe companions outside the school.

I don't really know for a fact, but they tend to be close with each other and I hate to think that All Might is having favorites. Not that it's any problem with teachers having favorites, just the thought that it may cause uneven treatment is what I am worried about.

"Who knows… forget about the guy, he tends to be late in specific situations" and what he means by the situation is he's forgetting that he has the class to teach.

"Let's start rescue training!" 13 said enthusiastically, didn't know that she has still the energy to be this energetic when she clearly is still injured. "The rundown of the situation will be that, there are three students at the bottom of the chasm. One of them will be unconscious, the other will have an injured leg, and the last one is in a state of panic."

Now that made other students curious as to how bottom the chasm can go, and what I meant by curious students were Kirishima and Kaminari checking out to see that the chasm is pretty deep. Like how a well is deep.

"Kaminari, Kirishima what are you guys doing? There are people down there in need of saving!" Iida without further a due sped his way to the chasm and yelled to whoever was in the bottom if they are in need of saving. 'He really does get into character when it comes to hero studies…'

"Man chill… we haven't even started yet"

"Well, how about we begin, and let's start off with you three as the first people injured," 13 said referring to the three randomly selected students which were Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida. This was particularly uncoincidental because these three are the pretty close students in our year, not that it has any reason to be the first three picked.

"And you four will be the one saving them," Mr. Aizawa said talking to four of us, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Bakuguo, and… wait up I thought Tokoyami was up, but 13' pointer finger landed on me.

That definitely isn't a coincidence at all, she deliberately pinned me with Bakuguo because of our dispute the other day. Now that's just playing unfair… didn't know teachers want to cause havoc with their students. "Also, don't worry we have rescue items for you guys to use"

Mr. Aizawa said turning his entire body towards where the rescue items were hidden. It was a stretcher of some kind, a harness, and ropes to aid us when we descend to the bottom of the chasm, where our supposed injured civilians are located.

"Wait a minute!? Why the fuck do I have to save Deku of all people, and with coward in my team?" Bakuguo asked loudly while glaring at me like it was my fault that we were put in the group.

"Don't look at me, ask our teachers?" I replied turning my head away from his glaring face, it makes me mad just looking at it. I still can't believe that he got off with a slap in the back for attacking my unit like that, besides I can't really complain when we have basically the same punishment. I'll just be glad that we are being punished not only me for acting aggressively towards the explosive individual.

"Let's start, Yaoyorozu can you create a pulley so that we can have something to pull them up. Let's begin with the unconscious one, Kold will head down and the rest we'll pull them up" Todoroki said, taking the lead role like it was natural for him to lead us.

"Okay then… I'll head down first if you don't mind," I said grabbing two flying units in my deck "Call Psychic Bird and Victory Maker" I tossed the cards upwards and a green parrot and a red phoenix appeared after the card disappear. "Guys, I need you to get me down, some people are trapped in there and they may need assistance immediately," I said to the two bird units and they nodded their beaks.

They both used their talons to grab hold of my shoulders and had made me descend slowly, and it also gave time for the others to make the pulley system that Todoroki suggested to make. 'Here goes nothing…' with a sigh I tried to be optimistic and provide support to the best of my ability. In truth, I am bracing for the acting part when it comes to rescuing. No matter what the disaster is, you always have to make an effort to make the people you're saving safe in your presence, and that is what I am trying to achieve from this.

"You guys are going to be alright now…" I said, but clearly, Iida was the hysterical one because he can't keep quiet and he keeps on panicking. Let's first calm Iida down; this guy really is serious when it comes to role play. "Iida, it's going to be alright now… there is no need to panic. Others are also helping away up for you guys, but how about let me check you guys for a concussion or any injury" I suggested to the guy and that made him calm the hell down. He was way too into the role he put himself into.

I first checked Iida, asking if he was feeling out of it, or any feeling of concussion present and he denies everything I asked, and it looks to be he is in the clear. However, I was worried about Uraraka, I was lacking the materials needed to check if she was injured in the head. "Yaoyorozu!" I called the only female in the group and she made a noise indicating that she was listening. "Can you bring down the first-aid; I need to check if there are more injuries these guys possess"

"Got it!" she replied and was now out of sight, probably making a first-aid kit for me to use. "Psychic Bird, can you please fetch the kit?" I asked the bird and he was gladly abiding by my command.

"How about we check Midoriya's injury, and let's hope that it is just an injured leg," I said to the others. The scene was supposed to be that someone has an injured leg, but it didn't specify how bad the leg was. "Okay… I think you may have twisted your legs at the wrong angle and please don't put too much pressure on it. It may cause another injury if you put weight on it" I suggested to him and he seems to be nodding at my every word.

I heard a call from up above and see that Psychic Bird is here with the First-Aid. I'll just be relieved that Yaoyorozu makes a penlight out of this thing, and lucky for me she did make everything that a first-aid kit needs.

I slowly checked Uraraka's head for any injury, and I raised a brow questioning as to why she is laughing at the moment. "I know this is kind of funny and dumb, but let's pretend that you are actually unconscious right now" I whispered to the girl and that made her straighten up and kept herself from moving.

"There's seems to be no sign of concussion, and there are no other visible injuries…" I whispered while using the penlight to make sure she is in the green zone, and for the most part I pretended that she was good.

"Is everything okay in here?" someone asked worriedly, and judging by the voice it was Yaoyorozu.

"Everything is good, except for Midoriya who has an injured leg," I replied and that made her nod and immediately grabs the materials needed to stable the injured leg. 2 splinters and another 2 triangular bandages, to keep the legs secured from any movement that Midoriya may create.

"I'll first get Uraraka up, I think she needs to be looked into a medic to check if I missed any of her injuries," I said to Yaoyorozu and had Uraraka up in my arms in a bridal carry. Also, I am being extra careful to place her in the stretcher that the teacher provided for us to use. "Guys, you can pull up now," I said to my other two teammates up the chasm.

"Iida, if you don't have any injury how about let's get you out of here immediately. We'll take care of Midoriya and I can assure you that you will see your two friends in up to health again" I suggested to the class rep, and he nodded without question. "Psychic Bird, Victory Maker if you please?" I asked the units and they were glad to help me in this rescue training.

"Okay.. how is Midoriya's leg?" I asked the girl doing the bandaging.

"He is going to be just fine after I wrap this up and he will be good to go" she replied with a smile on her face.

"That's great to hear" I replied to her, and now I just need to wait for the others to drop the stretcher once more so that we can pull Midoriya and finally be finished with this training.

The stretcher arrived and we slowly put Midoriya in it. "Yaoyorozu, how about you get out of here first" I suggested referring to my bird units that can help her get up much faster.

She agreed on it, and as they both had gone up the chasm I was retrieved by my two units once again and with that our turn on the rescue training was over.

"Great job everyone, especially you Kold. I'd like to point out the little detail you did back there when you asked for Yaoyorozu for a first-aid, I approve of the quick thinking that you did by the subtle way of informing your teammates that you don't have any first-aid materials to help the injured" 13 said in joy and pride, okay that was just a touch to make things more believable as it is. It might not be perfect and we should have already made it beforehand, but what can I say… I like the little details.

"I agree, most of us treated this as an exercise rather than a real situation and I've got to hand it to you. You really know how to reassure someone in need, great work" Yaoyorozu said smiling and approving at my effort to make the situation as close to reality as it is.

"No need to thank, and don't let yourself out of the picture. I can also thank you for your quick response and getting aboard to the scenario I created" I said to the vice-rep, and we both gave a nod of understanding towards each other. We both did a great job during the exercise and that was what we really need to say to each other.

After our turn, the others had the chance to also do the exercise, and they mostly did what I did. Some succeeded and others… not so much, but all in all it was a nice change of pace with just fighting during training. It really gave me a new perspective of what a hero does in this society, but I know there are things underneath the surface, but they are going to reveal themselves in due time.

"Everyone you did great on your first ever rescue mission!" 13 said in glee clapping her gigantic spacesuit hands together. "However, there is still plenty of battle scenarios prepared for each of you to shine"

"Don't relax just yet… class is still on session" Mr. Aizawa warned with his signature piercing gaze that can freeze anyone on the spot. I swear, if our teacher has a secondary quirk it would be petrification, or simply the ability to freeze opponents with a glance.

With that, the teachers moved us to another location, and this time the place is wrecked. Not just building wrecked, but a whole city wrecked. 13 said that the scenario was that a villain has just attacked the city and that some people are trapped somewhere in the city, and it was the hero's job to locate and save each one of them. 'Not a pretty bad setup… but one small problem is making me doubt my teachers are not heroes. They are the devil…'

"The heroes have 8 minutes to spread out and 3 of them will be the rescuers and the other 17 students must hide wherever, they wish in the city. However 8 of the hidden people won't be able to speak" I practically burned everything he said, it might be strange to hear but this exercise is also kind of like quizzes if you compare it to normal class. This is after all still a subject that the hero course offers, so there is still a chance someone will fail if we get too lax.

"So, basically we are going to be playing hide and seek!" Ashido said hoping in joy, I've got to hand it to her. She might not have the brightest minds in the class, but she has the optimism that could rival a child.

"More or less but let me announce the rescuers… It's going to be Bakuguo, Kold, and Midoriya!" okay they are definitely the devil in disguise. Can't they see it with their eyes that we three won't be much of a team, I can bear teaming up with Midorya but with Bakuguo count me out, and if you look closely Bakuguo is in the same boat as I am. There is no way this is going to be successful rescue training when someone can just run off on their own and do whatever they want.

"What the hell?! I'm still partnered up with coward, and with Deku to boot. HELL NO!" Bakuguo spat in anger, and see what I mean. This guy is the epiphany of anger issues, and he can't settle and swallow his pride to get teamwork working, talk about a chair with only 2 legs to hold it up.

"Uhhh… that's so unfair… I should have been one of the rescuers, just look at those curves and boobs. If I were the heroes, I would touch them no matter what!" I heard the whisper of the purple ball and it kind of disgust me really. How come, someone, this young be perverted to this degree?

"Mineta… right?" I asked trying to gain the attention of the little squirt of a pervert.

"Yeah, what's up? You need the help with the ladies, if so I'll be hiding-"

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY!" I screamed at the little guy, and that gave him a mini heart attack too. 'Geez now I act like Bakuguo… huh… what a life'. "Okay, hear me out little guy, if all you do is going to do is stare at girls, then no one will respect you. I suggest you learn to respect others especially ladies and be a gentleman then I'll bet some of the ladies will notice you"

"…" the little guy didn't say anything after that; I must have struck a nerve if he were that speechless about what I said.

"You see from what I hear, a gentleman is the new sexy… Use it" I suggested to the guy and that may be the key to have awoken the new side of Mineta Minoru. I just wish it doesn't end up evolving the little runt into something much worse than being a pervert. "Also don't be a perverted gentleman, or you will be the disgrace of all gentlemen if you do pursue being one"

The others were given roughly 2 minutes to hide, and that was quite enough for everyone to spread out. This in turn made it much harder because I bet they are going to hide sneakily as possible, not to mention with Hakaure's quirk… she will be a nuisance to search.

"Let's get started" 13 announced to us and that was their cue to remove them from the scene. 'Let's just hope that these two will listen to what I have to say, or what Midoriya has to say…'

"How about we-"

"See if I care, I'll find those extras on my own. Just follow my lead!" Bakuguo said propelling himself upwards and out of our hair. 'Looks like it what I expected from him…'

"Do you have something in mind Midoriya?" I asked my other teammate and it kind of surprise him that I was talking to him. I raised a brow to coax him into saying if he has any idea.

"Well… I would have suggested scouting the area with the help of your quirk and units, that way we will find them much faster" he replied scratching his head and dodging my eyes like it was the plague.

"Not a bad plan, so… let's do just that," I said to the shy bean, and that made his blushing face disappear. "Call, Barcgal" I summoned the handy mechanical dog unit.

"Oh, I remember this unit during the attack. This guy has the ability to summon your other dog-based units with a howl, which is going to be great at scouting this huge area" he said starting to ramble as to how I would use my quirk in every situation.

"Okay that's enough rambling Midoriya, we are still rescuing the others so there is no need to waste your time fanboying about my units," I said stopping the guy from furthering his rants. It tends to get. I turned my head to the mechanical dog, "How about you focus on summoning Snogal" I suggested to the unit and the dog just barked in agreement.

You see Snogal is a particular unit that also has the ability of cloning, but is also slightly different from Flame Seed Salamander because Snogal's ability is that whenever copies of him are present they all get stronger. It's like the ability of the Royal Clan in this one unit.

A howl came and a thundering noise sets in the background, and another portal appeared just a little ways from us. Then, jump out Snogal, puffing his chest like the proud dog he is. "It's great to have you back Snogal, it's been so long. However, I do need your help… we are searching for my classmates and we need you to scout this place top to bottom. Don't worry we are not searching for someone specific, just anyone will do, and there are 17 of us hiding" I ordered the unit and it just barked. 'I'm gonna take that as a yes'

Snogal started to clone himself, up to 4 units of the same size, shape, and appearance. "That is so awesome… please you've gotta make me write something about your units Kold. You have your quirk on top of theirs! You're like a hero with so many sidekicks at your disposal. Although, at what cost? They seem to have their own being like Dark Shadow, and each of them has its own quirk. It could be because they are from a different world than ours, or that Kold is specifically giving them that ability…"

"Midoriya! STOP, and please breathe… you're going to kill yourself if you keep this up" I warned the green-haired boy while also shaking him from his mumbling. "This is not the time to get your thoughts in a rumble, talk later and rescue now"

"Yeah… sorry about that, I occasionally mutter stuff when it interests me… that must have been weird" he replied apologetically.

"Apology accepted, but now game face on" I assured the green teen. "Okay, Snogals each one of you is going to head to North, East, West, and South from here. Midoriya your going to be with one of the Snogal that's heading North, and save anyone you can. Everyone, be sure to sniff everyone out and mark the area where you've seen them so that we can get back to them as fast as we can. That's all, so let's head out and save everyone" I said to the group with enthusiasm I could muster, which is not a lot actually.

I followed the Snogal that was heading to the East, and occasionally looking left and right for anything that could signal that someone is hiding from us. Ashido was correct with her statement that this is kind of like a game of hiding and seeking.

"ARF!" the Snogal I am with barked holding his nose high up.

"Okay boy… this is where you shine, find my classmate so we can finish early," I said to the unit encouraging it because sometimes dog-based units think with their stomach. So, once in a while I coax them with food to get them motivated.

The clone unit stopped and sniffed beneath a huge pile of rubble. The dog turned to me with a nod indicating that someone is down there. "Is someone down there? Are you okay, or hurt?" I asked the person beneath the rubble, but it seems to be not responding. Looks like I've got one of the mute people to save.

"Snogal, how about you search for another one of my classmates while I handle this one. If it's easy enough for you to get them out from wherever they are, I encourage you to do so" I said to the unit, now that the teachers aren't here to observe what I am doing. I still need to keep an appearance that I am following the scenario they made for us, because if they were to use civilians that don't know my units, then its goanna spell trouble for me and also a minus point.

With all this rubble on top, there is no way to get them out of the way in time. However, who says that it's only the way in. "Call Battle Sister Omelette" the girl with a huge metallic fist for a weapon appeared. 'If I can't use the covered hole as a way in, then I'll just have to create another'

That was the solution that I could muster, I mean they did intend to bury themselves in there. So, I have to get them out somehow, and this is basically a destroyed city. A few holes in here couldn't be much of a problem.

I jumped down to the new hole that Omelette just made, and it seems to be that Yaoyorozu was the one responsible for that rubble. "You really made an effort to bury yourself in here," I asked the creation quirked girl, and she awkwardly smiled at me.

"I did want this to become real as possible, and I didn't expect you to do that. I would have made an effort to lift the rubbles up myself if it were to ensure the safety of the civilian" she replied, and that made me froze suddenly. I didn't think much about it possibly collapsing in itself and bury Yaoyorozu in here, but lucky for me it didn't so that's enough.

"You really weren't thoroughly thinking of your plan did you?"

"Caught me red-handed, but all is well. There's no need to fret anymore" I turned to my unit and asked her if she could jump us out of here, and another luck for me that she has the jumping skills to get us out of here. 'I really need to be aware of every unit's strength… if I keep this up I'm bound to make a mistake sooner or later'

I know each one of them possesses strength, some of them even rely on their abilities to gain the upper hand, but most of them have strength like pro heroes, even the grade 0 can match them in a one-on-one fight.

Another bark resounded from across the street we were in, and it look to be that Snogal is guiding some of my classmates towards me. It was Sato, Kirishima, and Sero. "That's good job Snogal, how about we regroup at the place we first started, and let's see if the other Snogal, and maybe even Midoriya, have gathered all of our classmates.

We started to run towards the place we first started, also guiding the supposed civilians to safety. This way we can regroup and leave the search and rescue to my units while Midoriya and I protect them if in case any problem occurs. 'I'm going to be pretty tired after this… but at the very least I get to have great scores in this exercise'

In the middle of our regrouping, I found Midoriya also waving his hands for me to see, which I gave another wave in return. "Great job Midoriya… you've got at least, 3 of our classmates," I said to the greenette while stopping to see that it was Uraraka, Jirou, and Asui who were the ones he saved. "How about we settl-"

*BOOM**

I was cut off by a sudden air pressure that made me stumble back to a pile of rubble. 'That's going to leave a mark…' I grumbled in pain while observing my surrounding. Midoriya and the rest of 1-A have appeared, and it seems to be that everyone has already surrounded the person who made us stumble back.

"It's a villain!" I heard Iida said while covering both Uraraka and Jirou with his body. Quite noble of the guy, but that is not what is wrong here. The problem was that the villain has Todoroki dangling in his grasp, like a pile of potatoes in a sack. 'Can't really believe that one of the strongest in the class has been beaten by a villain, but I must say the villain is strong making a wind draft like that'

"No way! Such a guy is hiding in here" someone said in the crowd, but really I doubt it. I mean, it clearly isn't right because first who do they think owns this place. UA is crawling with pro left and right, and with the USJ attack, which was not long ago, the heroes would definitely catch wind of it. Besides, the guy survived in here for roughly 3 to 4 weeks and he hasn't been caught. Either the heroes are getting lazy or the villain is just that good at hiding, which I contemplate that the latter is a possibility.

I notice that Oujiro headed to the teachers to alert them that there is a villain on the loose, and they were just apprehensive of the thought that there is one, and suggested that we head to the exit, according to what I observe by their actions that is.

'Okay… that definitely is a sign that something doesn't add up'

"I won't let you escape from me!" The villain shouted making a huge stomp on the floor, which I could say that another wind raft will come for us. I braced myself, and luckily all of us were still standing and are able to tank the wind.

"Everyone! Don't get separated, be sure to be with someone and work together if you can. Tank, distract and evade if you can" I ordered the people who could hear me, and I hope they have the brains to follow what I said.

However, that was proved to be an understatement because Bakuguo had the audacity to engage with the villain, using his explosion one after the other to weaken the villain. 'I guess I just have to help the guy…' I look into the corner of my eye to witness that the teachers aren't moving an inch to help us, and it was suspicious because during the USJ they were adamant to not let us engage in battle, but now…

"Jirou!" I said to the girl who was the closest to me, and I pointed to the far right of me while I dashed for a closer range attack and also calling for Snogal and his clones to follow me. I tried to point at each copy of Snogal to encircle the villain in the middle to prepare for an attack.

Bakuguo had the brains to fly up and let others take a crack at the villain with Yaoyorozu aiming a cannon at him, and Sero taping the villain to incapacitate him. Sero's tape hit the mark and is now wrapping the villain and with Yaoyorozu's cannon firing a net to immobilize the villain. "Now, everyone aim at the villain with everything you got!" she commanded, and it was the close-ranged fighters who made a move.

However, it proved to be futile because the villain broke through the net and tape with a single movement, which also created another wind draft forcing the others to distance themselves because of the wind pressure. 'This guy is clearly overpowering us with raw strength alone, maybe his quirk is super-strength…?'

I searched for Midoriya because I know that kid has some kind of plan for us and clearly, I was blank for saving Todoroki who was dangling at the villain's grasp. 'Although… why did he not use him as a hostage. We clearly are still inexperienced in all of this'

I found Midoriya who was staring at the battle with calculating eyes, and just to be sure I approach the guy. "Hey, I know you're trying to figure something out but please let me know if you have any idea as to how we can save Todoroki? At this point, Bakuguo has long forgotten that the villain has him, and the others are clearly following his lead" I said to the boy who was starting to shy away. "Look I know we have a rough past, but you can just set that aside for now and focus"

"No, I was just… um… I didn't; know how to react with you talking to me like this…" he replied who was clearly not looking in my direction. 'For goodness sake, we were able to talk last 4 weeks or so… now that I think about it, we haven't really had a talking relationship with each other. So, I guess it is kind of awkward'

"I'll let you handle the planning and I'll make time for you to think, and I'll be sure to be careful not to hurt our classmate," I said to the boy and dashed off and notice that Jirou is in position, and is now awaiting orders by looking at me.

"Everybody stand back. Snogal, Jirou, Sonic wave!" I screamed, hoping that Jirou also heard. I kind of envy her quirk at times like this, she can hear sounds much clearer and can project sonic waves using the sound of her heart.

I tried to create a sonic barrier from every side to make an effort to wake our dear old classmate who was unconscious in the hold of the villain. If he was able to just wake up at this moment, then he could freeze the villain on the spot and all of this will be done, but the sonic attack didn't help at all. 'That guy must be pretty out if he can't even wake up from a surround sound'

The sonic wave stopped and I notice that the villain was aiming at one of the Snogals close to him. "I retire Snogal!" I immediately chanted to avoid causing Snogal injury, and that move made me stumble to my feet. 'Crap… summoning and desummoning units are starting to get to me'

"Omelette, you're up!" I said to my only summoned unit at this point. She made a run for it with a punch aiming at the villain's chest, but it was blocked using only his right hand to defend. Omelette tried to swing with her left, but the villain ducked and made a low sweep at her feet making the unit fall on her face making her vulnerable for attack. "Retire-"

Bakuguo came crashing in and exploded the villain's face, distracting him for a second to let Omelette regain her footing and kicking the villain's stomach away from her. The explosive student followed a barrage of explosions towards the villain creating smoke after smoke, and also making a smokescreen for Omelette to attack freely.

I look behind me hoping to see that Midoriya had something up his sleeves already. He held one of Mineta's balls in his grasps and was launching himself towards the villain's way with Asui's help. 'Looks like your brain finally came up with something Midoriya'

At the same time, Bakuguo launched another explosion on the villain's face making his eyesight covered in smoke. Using the ball that Mineta gave Midroiya he stuck it in one of the clothes of Todoroki, and with the speed, he had gained he forced the villain to let go of Todoroki, while also creating some distance between the two.

It was actually a brilliant plan, he made the others catapult himself to get the chance to grab Todoroki, while also using the propulsion of the throw he made a huge distance to render the villain's advantage of his close hand-to-hand combat.

Quickly Midoriya turned to face the villain and using his finger to create a weaponize blast of air towards the villain's way, hoping to get him to fly backward. I turned my attention towards where the villain is supposed to land, and see a minefield of Mineta's balls in place. 'Not a bad plan' I smirked in victory, but it didn't really go as planned because the villain held his footing.

"BASTARD!" In Bakuguo's cue, he made another huge explosion trying to force the villain to fly back. 'It's not going to be enough…' I contemplated using this technique but I don't really have much of a choice on the matter.

"Omelette activate triple strength!" I said grabbing 3 cards of the same name and picture as of Omelette. Her ability is that she can multiply her strength by the number of the same cards I have in my hand. Holding the 3 cards in hand I forced it to activate, it's now glowing blue and at the same time, another surge of power arises from Omelette.

"Omelette, give it all you've got!" I screamed to the unit.

With a burst of speed, Omelette was in the villain's face in mere seconds. "Maximum Punch!" she focus her strength on one of her giant metal arms and let it blow in the villain's gut forcing the villain to stumble and fly back towards the laid trapped of rubble with Mineta's ball.

"They did it! The plan really worked!" I heard Mineta's scream from over here, and that was the only thing I needed to hear to know that Midoriya's plan worked like a killer machine. "Now he can't move even if he wants to"

"Great work with that last blow," Oujiro said, assisting me to stand and I leaned half my weight into his side. "And it looks to me you were really still holding out on us, you've got to tell us how many tricks you have in your deck"

"Yeah… in due time, Oujiro… In due time…" I replied with a sheepish smile on my face. 'Sorry Oujiro, but I don't think you guys deserve to know… you'll be seeing less of me once I get this problem of mine sorted out' I thought dreading the thought. I didn't really know why though, in the pit of my stomach I think I know why a bitter taste like this exists when I think of leaving the hero course.

"This thing isn't finished yet. I'm going to murder this villain!" Bakuguo said with his hands laced with mini-explosions.

"W-wait-"

"There's no need, because I AM HERE!" and that line said it all, my guess was right after all.

"ALL MIGHT!" I winced in pain hearing most of my classmates yelling All Might. It was like getting feedback from a microphone close to a speaker. It's the sound of doom if you want.

"In all honesty, I wanted to surprise you all with a villain attack and see how would you all react and I must say, you all reacted excellently," All Might said complementing our actions, but it was too late because most of the class is facing him with murderous eyes.

"… I deeply apologize…" he said sweat dripping from his head. Looks like he knows he screwed up big time.

"You went overboard, you moron!" that was most of the class's reaction towards All Might's stunt. They were yelling, screaming, and lecturing the pro hero because of his recklessness in an attempt to rile us up.

However, I notice that most of my classmates are still pretty shaken up with the whole ordeal of the villain attack. Ashido, for once, was slightly trembling maybe because she was one of the students to witness 13 being defeated in battle, Uraraka was also in the same boat. I can see Aoyama in the corner of my eye sighing a relief breathe that this was over, but looking to see that Mineta was the worst one because he was full-blown trembling and stuttering in his place.

I scanned the whole class and I notice that Oujiro was slightly shaken up by it all, Yaoyorozu too was looking a little comprehensive. "Ouch, you've got a pretty strong grip in me Kold. Mind loosening it up?" Oujiro complained and I was suddenly aware of my thoughts going back to the attack of the USJ, and specifically how I lost Jarren in that battle.

"Sorry…" I apologized with my head hanging low.

"No need… I know the USJ is a traumatic experience, we all have our fair share" he replied with an understanding smile on his face.

I nodded as thanks and retired Omelette while I was at it, but I notice that the lecture was in fact isn't over just yet. So, I decided to break it off. "Okay guys, cut the hero some slack… all the signs were there you just didn't notice it all," I said gaining the attention of my classmates.

"What do you mean by that?" Uraraka asked in concern.

'Really… they haven't notice that something was wrong the entire time?' I moved my eyes towards Yaoyorozu hoping that she has noticed it before me, but I was proven wrong because she was also just thinking about it all now.

"Here's the rundown… this was obviously pre-planned" I dropped the bomb and that was the cue to my entire class to bomb me with screams and yelling. I used my hands to cover my ears to lessen the damage that they might make to my ears.

"Break it up… Kold has a point. All this time signs were in our sights, we just haven't noticed it because we were too relaxed to recognize them" Yaoyorozu said breaking the entire class's ramble of my withholding information from them.

"What signs are you referring to?"

"I'm just gonna say this once, first, isn't it suspicious enough that someone escaped the heroes radar after they inspected the USJ, or are they just sloppy at their jobs, which I doubt is true? Second, when Oujiro said to the teachers that a villain is here, they just said to head for the exit, but when real villains came rushing in Mr. Aizawa was very adamant about us not getting involved. Third, they made no move to protect any of us, which in fact is one of their main priorities after we had just been attacked by the league of villains." After my whole explanation, no one uttered a word. They were all just being idiots being too paranoid that a villain really did infiltrate UA again.

"…" no one dared to say anything back to me after that, especially Yaoyorozu, who was blaming herself for not noticing it immediately. 'Well… we did take action like heroes, so I guess that's a plus'

"Great job on your analysis Kold," Mr. Aiazawa said, and I offered a nod in his way. "You all failed to think clearly, but I do commend you all in handling the situation yourself. Don't beat yourself up because of this"

"Yes sir!" we all replied to our adviser and that was the end of our class and if you were wondering about what happened to All Might… we left him there stuck in a pile of rubble with Mineta's balls still intact. He said he could stick within the day or so, but in all honesty, we just did it to spite him for tricking all of us into thinking that another villain had attacked us again. You could say it was his punishment for taking things too far.
