We're now onto the Masters and Students episode! I'm sure you'll recognise some dialouge, those who watch the show, but also I've added my own twist as well! Hope you like it!
Chapter Twenty-Five
New Settings
A couple of days had passed since the destruction of the Space Bridge and Megatron's demise.
The Hamato Clan had practically moved into the silo and were making the most of it. It turned out that the silo had some living quarters for humans next to the many other rooms used by the autobots as it used to be a hidden military base.
This included a shower room and toilets and there were bunks and camp beds there as well.
Seeing how it seemed they were going to be part of the Autobot's team, they decided to make it more homely.
There were four floors in the area, and they assigned each room to each other.
Splinter and Leonardo shared the first floor, Raphael and Monalisa the second, Michelangelo the Donatello, the third, and Pandora and Kemeko got the fourth.
Once they had chosen their areas, they had used the ground bridge to get to their underground lair in New York and bring back food and other personal items and set everything up in their areas.
By the time the second day dawned, Donatello was already having a blast whilst learning and studying the Cybertronian equipment and asking Ratchet how everything worked.
The Autobot Medic, despite his reservations about the mutants being around did enjoy educating the curious brainy turtle about all he knew.
Pandora, Michelangelo and Kemeko meanwhile had developed strong bonds with Bumblebee and Bulkhead and were already telling them about their previous adventures, as well as what life was like on earth to which both Autobots would listen eagerly.
Leonardo and Master Splinter had been enjoying conversations with Optimus Prime, given how they shared the same position as leader of their clans/teams.
Raphael and Monalisa enjoyed their time with Arcee, whether it was going for wild rides in the Nevada desert or having conversations.
Often when Arcee spoke about life on Cybertron, Monalisa couldn't help but notice a sense of sadness within the femme, not just because she lost a team mate close to her, but something else, yet given how secretive Arcee was, she decided to wait a little longer to gain her trust.
April and Casey though, as much as they wanted to stay with their friends and the Autobots knew they had to return to the shop in New York as they couldn't stay away from it forever and they had to keep an eye on criminal activity within the city, whether it be the Foot Clan or the Purple Dragons or any other kind of gang war.
"Irma can't keep running the shop forever." April had said to which Casey agreed.
"She said she's run the joint whilst we were on vacation, but now it's over we need to return home."
Optimus had been concerned as he stated again that they along with the Hamato Clan were his duty to protect, but April and Casey reassured the Prime that they would be alright, since they were in a big city.
"One that never sleeps!" Michelangelo had piped up to which Raphael had whacked his head.
Optimus after hearing that did feel more comforted at that fact, but he still insisted on Ironhide accompanying them back to New York to which the Autobot Veteran agreed and after the humans bid their mutant friends farewell, he returned them back to New York.
Now, Optimus was standing alone in the main room of the base feeling rather saddened as he thought back on all that had happened.
Even though he was glad he was able to stop the Cybertronian zombies from entering the Space Bridge and invading Earth, he still felt a sense of guilt over what had become of Megatron.
Ratchet, being worried about his old friend, went over to check on him.
"Optimus, why so glum?" He asked, "This planet, all planets are finally free from Megatron's tyranny."
"I do not disagree, Ratchet." Optimus admitted.
"It's just…" he paused That a small part of me hoped to change Megatron's mind, not extinguish his spark."
"Optimus, his vileness was not slain by your hand, but by his own twisted arrogance!" Ratchet argued.
Optimus was silent yet Ratchet could feel how tense the Prime was, and he realized his mistake.
"I'm sorry." He said, "I know you two had quite a history."
Ironhide also joined in the conversation as he along with Ratchet had known Optimus and Megatron longer than the others had.
"Optimus, you know as well as I do that the Megatron you fought alongside perished eons ago. The day he chose to become a Decepticon." He said placing a hand on the Prime's shoulder.
Optimus sighed.
"You are correct, Ironhide" he said before narrowing his eyes.
He knew despite Megatron's demise, there would always be someone else to take his place, and he knew very well how much Starscream had wanted to lead the Decepticons.
"The Decepticons may be in disarray, but they are not without leadership, and while Starscream is no Megatron, he is far from predictable."
The two other mechs were about to agree when they heard some laughing and cheering as well as some shocked gasps, and Optimus looked out the corner of his optic to see something or rather someone falling from a height, and he turned before reaching out his servo before seeing Pandora dressed in a black leotard, and was wrapped up in some red fabrics hanging from the ceiling with Bulkhead and Bumblebee sitting on the floor watching her.
"What in tarnation?" Ironhide asked as he saw Pandora and Ratchet just stared in shock.
"Hey calm down guys!" Kemeko's voice was heard from the raised platform to which Ratchet, Optimus and Ironhide looked over at the Asian girl.
"Pandora's just showing off her aerial silks stunts!"
"Yeah!" Pandora said as she sat up in the silks and looked over to them "I was showing Bulkhead and Bumblebee my other skills apart from ninja training."
"By letting yourself freefall and give us a spark attack?" Ratchet demanded.
"Not intentionally!" Pandora said as she vaulted herself up on the silks, so she was hanging upside down.
"Just for entertainment!" she put out her tongue at Ratchet.
Ironhide blinked his optics.
"By Primus, you organics are full of surprises!" he said.
"I'll say they are!" Bulkhead agreed.
Bumblebee bleeped and whirred.
"Thanks!" Pandora said with a grin.
Ratchet meanwhile shook his head.
"Well you can't do that here!" he exclaimed "You're...being distracting!" he proclaimed.
"Distracting to you, you mean!" Pandora countered putting her tongue out again.
Ratchet was about to speak again when the proximity centre went off and they autobots knew Fowler was arriving again.
"Agent Fowler's back!" Bulkhead sighed as he stood up, Bumblebee following suit.
Pandora was a little disappointed but she lowered herself to climb down the silks but Optimus let her land in his servo so he could place her on the raised platform.
"Thanks!" she said gratefully to which Optimus nodded and he looked over to see the elevator doors open and Agent Fowler stepped through holding a large sports bag in his hand.
"Ah, good morning, all." He spoke in a pleasant tone.
"Good morning, Agent Fowler." Master Splinter said bowing to the agent and the turtles, Monalisa, Pandora and Kemeko followed suit.
"How are you feeling after what happened on the Decepticon Warship?" Donatello asked, his medic mode kicking in when he saw the agent.
He could see where Fowler still had bruises on his face, yet the others were hidden by his suit.
"I'm feeling much better thanks Doc." Fowler smiled at Donatello as he fiddled with his tie then looked at Leonardo and Monalisa.
"I've been asked by my Superiors to bring you both back to headquarters for an interview, like we had originally planned, that was before we were kidnapped by the Decepticons." He added in a sheepish tone.
Leonardo and Monalisa nodded.
"We understand Agent Fowler." Monalisa said.
"I did give them a brief description about you." Fowler explained "And they were rather shocked, but they are willing to meet you and learn about you and your family."
The rest of the Hamato Clan looked scared.
"You sure we're not going to be taken in as aliens and studied?" Michelangelo asked in a small voice.
"I give you my word it won't happen." Fowler said in a serious tone "After all, you've done nothing that would mean a danger to humanity, and I do understand that many when they saw you would be shooting first, ask questions later, as much as I hate to admit it."
"True that..." Donatello muttered.
"But after we have spoken with my bosses." Fowler continued "You will be given protection by the government as well as allowance to continue interacting with the Autobots."
Upon hearing that, the Hamato Clan looked excited.
"You're serious?" Pandora asked.
"You mean, we won't have to worry about being attacked by other humans in case we're found?"
Fowler nodded with a smirk.
"I've had years of training in negotiating." He said, "And I will make sure you're in safe hands."
Splinter looked up at the Agent and placed a paw on his arm.
"Agent William Fowler." He said, "I cannot express my gratitude."
"Think nothing of it!" Fowler said with a wink, "I do owe it to you guys along with the bots for saving my life."
"You are our liaison, Agent Fowler." Optimus spoke up "As well as a friend."
The other Autobots agreed although Bulkhead rolled his optics.
Leonardo meanwhile bowed to the agent along with the rest of his family.
"We may not have met on the best of terms." He said, "But like everyone else, you have a family as well as friends and comrades, as well as a life and like any citizen we've saved in the past, you are one of them."
"Again, you have my gratitude." Fowler said then he held up the sports bag.
"What's in there?" Kemeko asked.
"It's for Leonardo and Monalisa." Fowler explained "To prepare them for this interview."
"Alright?" Monalisa said curiously then unzipped the bag to reveal two smart suits.
"Smart wear?" she asked holding up the one that seemed to be hers.
It was a tailored black jumpsuit with a belt and silver buckle.
"Wow! Classy!" Michelangelo commented.
Leonardo meanwhile looked at his and it was smart black trousers, a white shirt and black jacket which reminded him of the suit he wore when April and Casey got married those years back.
"Just so you look your best, always helps you know?" Fowler said with a wink.
Monalisa, having experience as a human on looking ones best before an interview agreed.
"Of course." She said, "Thank you Agent Fowler."
She looked at Leonardo who nodded and they went behind the pillar where the elevator was so they could change.
Raphael was looking rather interested to see what his mate would look like, although Pandora looked worried as she wondered if the same incident would happen.
Kemeko looked equally concerned too.
Yet both of them didn't have time to think on it when Leonardo and Monalisa appeared from behind the pillar dressed in the clothes Fowler had given them.
Monalisa had to cut a hole in the bottoms to accommodate her tail and she had let her hair loose from the pink ninja band.
No sooner did Raphael see his mate than he gasped.
"Wow Mona..." he said as his eyes wandered over Monalisa's figure in the jumpsuit, "I never thought you looked more beautiful!"
Monalisa blushed.
"Thanks hun." She replied with a smile.
Pandora nodded in agreement.
"You look smart mom!" she said.
"You look dapper Leo!" Donatello said as he looked at his brother.
"And very cool!" Kemeko agreed.
"Both of you look very respectable!" Master Splinter said as he looked at his son and daughter.
Fowler folded his arms and nodded.
"I think so too!" he agreed.
The autobots also looked and nodded.
"I second Master Splinter's statement." Optimus said then looked at the agent and turtle and lizard.
"Stay safe the three of you." He said, "I greatly hope you do not run into any incidents this time?"
"Don't worry Prime." Fowler said, "I brought my jet this time."
"A Jet!?" everyone cried.
Fowler nodded.
"Like I said, I trained in the air force." He reminded them.
"Stay safe my children." Splinter said walking over and the others joined him.
"We will Sensei." Leonardo promised before hugging Kemeko close.
"I love you daddy!" Kemeko said "Please stay safe."
"I will Lotus." Leonardo said as he hugged his adopted daughter.
Monalisa at the same time hugged Raphael and Pandora.
"Please be safe mum!" Pandora begged "I don't want to be electrocuted saving you again!"
Monalisa chuckled.
"I promise Geisha." She said kissing Pandora's cheek "And you stay out of trouble too!" she said with a side look.
"She will babe." Raphael assured Monalisa and kissed her "I'll make sure of it." He wrapped an arm around Pandora before giving her a look to which the hybrid nodded.
Donatello and Michelangelo also wished Monalisa and Leonardo luck before they followed Fowler to the Elevator, and they soon disappeared behind the doors and up to the surface.
Kemeko kept her eyes on her father until he was no longer in sight and Pandora did the same.
Kemeko grasped Pandora's hands.
"I hope they stay safe this time." She whispered.
"I hope so too." Pandora agreed.
"Do not fear children." Optimus said softly "I have faith in Fowler that he will make sure your parents are safe."
"I'm holding Fowler to it!" Raphael said.
"Me too!" Donatello agreed.
"Ditto!" Michelangelo chimed in.
"With the new shell cells I gave them," Donatello said "If the distress signal comes up, then we'll be ready!"
"Well done, Donatello." Splinter said with a smile.
So the Hamato Clan have made themselves comfortable and at home within the Autobot base, Pandora and Ratchet are clanging heads, and Fowler has taken Leonardo and Monalisa to meet his bosses!
