Flashback...
"It all started in the summer, the one where we made our Tiny Toons movie."
The background changes, showing a certain beach. All the people minding their business, with most of them bathing in the water or tanning in the hot sun or others waiting at vendors for food or souvenirs.
There we see the figures of Furrball, Calamity Coyote and Vinnie the Deer, together with Mary Melody all dressed up in green pants, black rollerskates and pink shirts and headbands with pink tilted pink tinted sunglasses. All four standing out from the other people on the beach for so many reasons, but they only skated without caring, each sporting a smile on their faces.
"I wasn't always the social cat back then, but that time when Mary invited me to roller skating, I was happy to actually spend the summer doing something that didn't seem like it would lead me into some bad luck."
We are now shown the four friends skating through a busy part of the beach filled with people standing in line. They were waiting to get tickets to the new movie of Johnny Pew, even if it wasn't going to be released yet.
"In the movie, the four of us had very short appearances, but we didn't care, even Vinnie wasn't that upset since he probably had even less time on the screen than Mary. So, we just skated through places, one of them being a cinema, and this is where my bad luck streak finally catched up with me..."
The friends are skating their way through the cinema area, until a certain sight catched Furrball's attention. Standing there on the waiting line of crowded people, was none other than the pink canary Sweetie Bird.
"Seeing her made me instantly lose control, and the others skated without observing I was gone..."
Now, upon seeing the pink bird, the young feline stomach growled and let his instincts take over. He saw her as a flying roasted chicken leg, all ready to be eaten by him, making his mouth drool. He needs to catch and eat that bird!!!
"I knew that chasing after Sweetie was not going to end up well, but being hungry I just didn't care, so I did the only thing a cat does when it wants to catch his prey."
Just as Sweetie, was waiting in line oblivious of the blue cat presences, the aforementioned, crawled like a the sly feline he thinks he is without attracting people's attention. Soon, he was merely a few inches from devouring the pink canary and satiating his hunger.
Unfortunately, Sweetie noticed something was off, something in the air...
"Phew! Why do I smell sadness and rotten fish in he air?!" she asked, still being unaware of the blue feline behind her, making him take a quick breath test at this offense. Yup, his breath smelled normal to him, now back to the main course!
"MEOW!" uttered Furrball, finally making Sweetie noticing him, as she was grabbed and trapped in his paw with no way for an escape.
"You really need a breath mint, buddy!" stated the young canary with an innocent smile on her beak, making Furrball angry, "Oh, and one more thing before I go to the great bird paradise..." to which he tilted his head.
"HEY! EVERYONE!" shouted Sweetie unladylike, attracting the attention of the crowd, before resuming on her innocent tone. "This bad puddy tat has slipped into the waiting line and is going to buy all the tickets to the movie.~"
"Meow?" Furrball meowed, confused as all the people that heard the canary lie are now gazing enraged at the young cat.
"What?!"
"I've waited all day for my ticket!"
"I had to skip my final exam for this movie, you fleabag!"
"I had to cancel my fishing trip!"
"I had to cancel my surgery!"
"I had to cancel my wedding!"
"I had to cancel my funeral!"
"I almost feel sorry for you, buddy.~" said Sweetie, before she managed to free herself from the feline grip, flying between him and the forming angry crowd. "Well, almost.~"
"Get him!!!" she shouted, making all the people that waited in line taking out pitchforks and torches, glaring with pure hatred at Furrball as he instantly runned almost as fast as a roadrunner, leaving a dust cloud in his shape, just as the angry crowd began to chase him.
