Fireside twins
Rick Castle and Kate Beckett watched the burning building with bated breath looking for any sign of the rescue teams who'd gone in to rescue Esposito and Ryan from the previously hidden basement
"Rescue 7 come in" fire chief Miller said into his radio "rescue 7 come in do you have them"
The tension was thicker than the smoke in the air for Castle and Beckett until finally Castle noticed something emerging through the smoke
No he noticed someone
"There" he pointed seconds later slowly walking out supported by the fire fighters were Esposito and Ryan
"Javi" Beckett called out the tension leaving her body as she and her fiancé moved over embracing their brothers and arms happy to see them alive Ryan stepped away from the hug looking around "where's Jenny"
"This way" Castle answered helping Ryan make it over to the ambulance where Lanie had been helping Ryans wife Jenny deliver their first child
Making their way to the ambulance Jenny looks from the two wrapped bundles in her arms tiredly smiling as happy tears fall from her eyes seeing her husband
"Kevin"
"Javi oh thank god" Lanie says getting out of the ambulance hugging Esposito
Ryan climbs into the ambulance kissing Jenny before looking down at the twins "you're all so beautiful" he said kissing both his babies on the foreheads
"Kevin I'd like you to meet Sarah Grace" Jenny lifted the baby resting on her left arm slightly than doing the same with the right "and Javier"
"Twins" he said happy that he got to see his children and that he had one more child than he was expecting "I have twins"
Ryan got out of the ambulance hugging his friends
"You're actually going to name that little white irish boy Javier" the original Javier busted his chops about his sentimental name choice
"Yeah well you'll name your kid Kevin if you ever get around to actually having a kid" Ryan joked right back before hugging his friends looking towards his wife and kids with tears in his eyes
And that's the story Ryan and Jenny having twins in Under fire instead of just Sarah Grace
In this AU timeline Ryans Nicholas' middle name will be Richard for Castle instead of Javier
