30 Worlds, The Movie: "Birth of the New Generation!"
BOOK ONE*CHAPTER ONE
In his quarters, William walked up to the food replicator terminal. "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot," William said. As the requested beverage appeared on the reception pad, William looked out of the viewports.
"E.R.I.N., what is the time in Cinnabar right now?" William said.
"The time in Cinnabar is currently 0630 hours," E.R.I.N. said.
"Blitznak," William said before putting the still-hot teacup back on the reception pad and tapping a few keys.
The cup dissolved into energy as William muttered "Promised Sofia I would see the kids off to their first day at Royal Prep today."
Then, so that E.R.I.N. could hear him, William asked, "E.R.I.N., what is the current estimated time to the last-known coordinates of the Cerritos?"
"3 hours, 12 minutes at present speed," E.R.I.N. said.
"Then I'll have to use Gavan's Glory II," William said. "MA.J.E.L., prepare for departure back to Cinnabar. I'll be along presently."
"Acknowledged," the voice of M.A.J.E.L., the computer system on his personal ship Gavan's Glory II, said.
William ran out of his quarters.

"Where is Father?" Prince Jonathan I said. "He said he would be here to see us off to our first day at school today."
"I'm sure he had..." Sofia started to say before a loud wheezing and whirring echoed in the area. She, Scarlet and Jonathan looked up to see Gavan's Glory II appear from out of thin air on the nearby landing pad.
The embarkation hatch hissed open, and a familiar voice cried out, "You didn't think I would forget, did you?"
A hiss, a pop and a cloud of red mist later, William stood in front of Sofia, Scarlett and Jonathan. "What's going on?" Sofia said.
"Sofia, you remember Carol Freeman of the Cerritos, right?" William asked after giving Sofia a peck on the cheek.
"Yes, I do," Sofia said.
"How is Aunt Carol?" Scarlett said.
William leaned down to look at Scarlett. "Aunt Carol is in a bit of trouble, and I'm gonna help her," William said.
"What's wrong with Aunt Carol, Father?" Jonathan asked.
"She's been accused of facilitating the destruction of Pakled Planet," William said. "Don't worry, my son. We'll make sure Aunt Carol and all of our friends on the Cerritos will be taken care of."
"But what about the Gansett?" Sofia asked. "Won't they be where you're going before you get back?"
"Sofia, you forget," William said before gesturing towards Gavan's Glory II. "I have a time machine. I'll just have M.A.J.E.L. put me back on the Gansett at the exact moment—or as close to it as possible—that I left."
"So I essentially have all the time in the multi-verse I need to see you two off to your first day of school," William added.
As if on cue, a carriage drawn by four pegasi came into view. As it landed, William smiled at the driver. "Carla, you're still around?" William said.
Carla, the chief carriage driver for Royal Prep, smiled back at William. "Your Majesty, it is good to see you again," she said. "And these must be your children."
"Yes," William said. "Scarlett, Jonathan, this is Carla. She was the carriage driver who flew me to Royal Prep for my first day while I was undercover. In fact, it was on that first carriage ride that I met your mother for the first time."
William then looked back at Carla. "Carla, take care of my kids," he said.
"I always take care of all the kids I fly to Royal Prep," Carla said before she got off the carriage and helped Scarlett and Jonathan into the passenger compartment.
Once Carla had helped Scarlett, Jonathan and their gear into the compartment, William looked at Scarlett and Jonathan. "Listen to the Headmistresses and your instructors at all times," William said.
"Yes, Father," Scarlett and Jonathan said at the same time.
"Have a good day," Sofia said.
"Yes, Mother," Scarlett said.
"We'll try our best not to disappoint you," Jonathan said.
"Trying is all we ask," William said.
"All secured back there?" Carla said.
"Yes, ma'am," Scarlett said.
"Just call me Carla," Carla said. "Then if there's nothing else... HI-YAH!"
With a crack of the reins, the carriage soared into the sky and quickly flew out of sight.
"I gotta head back to the Gansett," William said.
"Take care of yourself out there, my love," Sofia said before she and William shared a kiss on the lips.
"I always do," William said before he disappeared in a cloud of red mist. Moments later, the wheezing and whirring returned as Gavan's Glory II faded from sight.
Moments later, William stepped off of Gavan's Glory II and onto the deck of the main shuttlebay on the Gansett. "King William to Bridge. What's our status?" William said.
"This is Tory, Your Majesty," Tory said from the Bridge. "We have diverted to Starbase 39-Sierra."
"Why?" William said.
"Our cover identities have been hired as covert transport for a Starfleet special operations team," Tory said. "Our registry markings have been modified to cover our true identities and so as to not alter history."
"All right," William said. "What is the Gansett called for now?"
"The Gansett has been disguised as the transport vessel Cullen. As for our design, our cover is that we purchased a Crossfield-class hull from the Qualor II salvage yard and outfitted it with the most advanced technology available on the civilian market," Tory said.
"Send the rest of the details to my tacoptics," William said.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Tory said. "Nichols, out."
As William exited the shuttlebay and made his way to a nearby turbolift, he read the files on the new identities they needed to abide by in order to preserve history.
