The next day passed and we sat down in the cafeteria surrounded by Teams RWBY and JNPR. Cardin and his team were pulling the ears of a rabbit Fannus.

Pyrrha:" Absolutely Sicking."

Yang:" It must be hard to be a Fannus."

Ruby:" I think I'm getting Deja vu."

Akira slams both of his hands on the table and shoots up, he's clearly angry.

Akira:" Are you just going to ignore her? We have to do something!"

Jaune:" I'd love to, but Cardin's family is too powerful he can have his dad force Ozpin to expel us."

Pyrrha:" Yeah. Don't you know his family? It's one of the most powerful families in Vale."

Akira's thoughts:" Well, I knew the bare minimum of his Family and their power, but they don't need to know that. However, that doesn't change the situation."

Akira:" Of course, I know that, But even still. I can't sit back and do nothing when there's a victim in need of help."

Akira slams his hand on the table again and stealthily moves over to Team CRDL. Ryuji follows him.

Akira:" Let her go!"

Cardin:" Who are you? What do you want from me?"

Akira:" Let. Her. Go!"

Cardin:" Don't you know who I am? I am CARDIN WINCHESTER son of John Winchester."

Ryuji:" We don't give a rat's ass who you or your shithead father are, I refuse to stand by when someone's getting bullied."

I tighten my grip on Cardin's hand and squeeze tight causing him to let go of her and she ran behind Ryuji.

Cardin:" You bastard!" Cardin grabs his mace and goes to Slam it down on him, but the mace is swiped away from Glynda.

Glynda: "Mr. Winchester, just what do you think you were doing?"

Cardin had dropped the whole Tough Guy persona, he started shaking in fear at the sight of Mrs. Goodwitch.

Cardin:" M-ms. G-goodwitch, I-I was g-going to show him my weapon."

Glynda:" Mhm, were you going to do it by using it on him?"

Cardin just trembles a bit, and Glynda looks at Akira who looks at her blankly.

Glynda:" And you two? What were you doing?"

Akira:" I was helping someone from a racist bully. Isn't that Right Ryuji?"

Ryuji:" Right."

Glynda:" Well Mr. Winchester, you'll get the opportunity to fight Mr. Kursu in combat class, but first you have to serve detention."

Glynda lifts Cardin with her semblance and she carries him away.

After School*

Minako:" So should we send the calling card today?"

Akira:" No, we shouldn't rush, and besides I want to look for items we could use in the Palace."

Morgana:" I agree, it's better to be safe than sorry."

The next day, After School*

Akira checks his Scroll and sees a text from Ryuji reading "Are we sending the Calling Card today?"

Akira:" Yeah, let's meet at team MAFY'S dorm."

Ryuji:" Got it. I'll tell everyone."

Akira:" Thanks, bro."

On Akira's way to the dorm, he had accidentally bumped into Ms. Goodwitch and she had dropped a lot of papers.

Akira:" Ah, My apologies Sensei let me get that for you."

As Akira cleans up he notices a paper that stands out to him. "John Winchester's military get-together?" Akira ended up mumbling to himself.

Glynda:" Oh, that? Cardin's dad had bailed him out of tomorrow's detention with that damn get-together."

Akira:" But what is it?"

Glynda:" It's just a way for those military higher-ups to have a dick-measuring contest, they open gifts, get compliments, eat luxurious goods, and all that other stuff."

Akira:" Get gifts? And you said that was yesterday right?"

Glynda:" Yeah, don't tell me you going. John is just Cardin but older and with more of an ego."

Akira:" Of course not, I wouldn't go to something like that, that sounds way too much like a stuffy suit event and those are unbearable."

In team MAFY'S dorm*

Minako:" So? What do we write on it?"

Morgana:" We typically write about what the criminals did."

Makoto:" How are we even supposed to get it to him? It's not like we can just walk up to him."

Akira:" Actually I've got an idea."

Ryuji:" Oh? Well, Let's hear it leader."

The screen fades to black*

Yang:" Oh come on. I want to know what the idea is!"

Ruby:" Calm down sis, I'm sure we'll see it soon."

Yusuke:" Ah, what a brilliant idea."

Minako:" I agree, me and Yusuke will work on it immediately."

The next day, at the get-together John Winchester and everyone else in the Palace, that had abused the Fannus and lower-level humans in the military*

The camera pans out and the thieves are outside the building listening in through a device.

Back in the building*

John was unwrapping the final gift before the night had ended John had gotten many gifts paintings, figurines, lien, as well as mini statues the final gift was wrapped in red and black wrapping paper. As the paper falls down revealing that it's a painting.

John:" Dear John Winchester, we have seen your abusiveness to the Fannus and the lower ranks, when you were a part of the Vale military, and we can no longer overlook your abusive methods, So we decided to change your heart. Sincerely the Phantom Thieves of Hearts." John crushed the painting and threw it away. "What nonsense Is that!?"

Cardin:" Calm down Daddy, it's probably just a prank."

John:"……Yeah, that must be it. Someone's just out for kicks, they must be about a juvenile youth."

The screen turns black and only John stays there.

John's shadow:" Hmph. I can't let anyone know my secrets. It can't come out, or else……bah that'll never happen, I've got the strength of the entire Vale military behind me."

Outside the get-together*

Ryuji:" What was that!? We'll kick that shadow bastard's ass."

Minako:" Yeah! Let's do it!"

The screen distorts and when it stops they're back in the metaverse, with a new song playing*

Yang:" Damn, now I'm getting even more hyped than before."

The thieves run to the elevator and go up to the Treasure room.

In the middle of the room was the Treasure, it was still on the same podium from a few days ago.

Minako:" There's the treasure, let's get it."

Minako had gone to get to the treasure after a second a cognitive version of Cardin had tried to slam his mace on Akira, but Morgana had shot Cardin with his slingshot loaded with wind dust, which had caused him to barely miss, and for Akira time slowed down almost entirely.

Akira had noticed that when Minako had grabbed the treasure which was a suitcase, an electric gate had slowly shot up, Akira ran over to her and stepped over the gate. I ran back to Cardin and put him over the electrical gate Which had stabbed him and caused the cognitive Cardin to disappear.

Yang:" Well now I'm starting to feel bad for him."

Jaune:" Remember Yang this is an alternative universe to ours."

Yang:" I know, I know vomit boy. But I still feel bad for him, even if he bullied you."

Jaune:" *Sigh* Me too. Even if he bullied me, I still feel bad for him right now."

The thieves minus Morgana had all been surprised by the sudden surprise attack.

Ryuji:" Joker? Where'd he go?"

Akira:" He's done for."

The treasure had disappeared from Minako's hands.

Minako:" Huh? The suitcase melted."

Akira:" Could it have been a fake?"

Akechi:" Oh? There's a room over there, you think that's where we'll find John?"

Akira:" We don't have much of a choice."

They enter the room and they see John behind a turrent.

Ryuji:" Woah, what the hell?"

Akira:" A new room?"

There was a brand new room, it was bigger, and it was almost as if it had expanded by itself, The sides of the room had turned into rows of buildings with a familiar building in the middle of the other buildings "Dusk till Dawn."

Akira:" John! I hope you're ready to confess your crimes."

John:" So, you defeated my Mut of a son? As expected."

Ann:" Huh? What do you mean?"

John:" Oh please, don't act like you're surprised. Isn't it obvious that Cardin didn't make it here through actual skill? He has little skill, but a lot of money, enough to make his dream come true."

Akira:" So that woman was right." Akira thought to himself.

Ann:" Would you stop being a pain, and give us your treasure already?"

John:" Bah, that's impossible I can never let anyone know about me and my crimes if I did it'll be all over."

Akechi:" As expected. At least we'll be able to have more fun this way."

The shadow pulls the trigger on the Turrent and the thieves all take cover behind the buildings.

Ann:" How are we supposed to defeat him? When He's hiding behind a turrent?"

Yusuke:" That's honestly a good question. We have to somehow deactivate it or destroy it."

Akira notices that there are Chandeliers above him "Could we use it against him?" Akira thinks to himself.

Yusuke:" Oh? Are you noticing something, Joker?"

Akira:" Maybe we could distract him with those Chandeliers?"

Yusuke:" How would we do that? The Chandeliers are too far apart to crush the Turrent."

Akira:" Maybe, I could act as a distraction for John, and then you guys could attack John."

Akira Jumps onto the roof of "Dusk Till Dawn" grapples onto the Chandelier, and climbs on top of the Chandelier, John tries to shoot Akira.

Ryuji uses his Semblance and charges at him, John notices this and tries to Shoot him, but an orange shield appears and the bullet slams back into the turrent and Ryuji slams his staff into the Turrent and John flies into the air.

Akira jumps off the Chandelier, Wraps his grappling hook around him, and summons Arsène to kick John's shadow to the ground when his shadow crashes into the ground it explodes into pieces and leaves a crater.

John:" Argh! Damn you!"

John's shadow rips off his shirt and everyone is sent flying back.

John:" Damn you, You're impressive I'll give you that, but if you think that I'll go down that easily, then you're dead wrong!"

Ryuji:" You just Refuse to go down. Fine We'll steal your treasure regardless."

John:" Try it, you Brats!"

John Rushes at Akira and tried to Swing at him, but Akira barely managed to dodge the swings.

Mona:" Be careful everyone, his movements very unpredictable."

Yusuke slashes at John's shadow but that barely looks like it does anything to him he just punches Yusuke who lands against the wall with a *THUD*.

Panther:" Fox!" Ann Runs over to Yusuke

John:" This is why they shouldn't let weak, naive brats on the battlefield."

Ann shoots at John, and even though most of her bullets hit him, no real damage happens.

Ann:" What the hell? Why is everything we're doing not hurting him?"

Ryuji:" I don't know. But that's such Bullshit!"

Ryuji channels his Aura into his pipe and launches himself at John getting a bit on him everyone hears the sound of Glass shattering.

Makoto:" Glass? Where did that come from?"

Yusuke:" I think it came from John."

Sumire:" Yeah, I think I saw glass break around him."

Morgana:" Did he have some kind of Shield?"

Ann:" That would explain why everything we did was doing nothing to him."

John:" Gah, I'll make sure that you regret that!"

John goes to punch Ryuji, but Minako slices his wrist with her Naginata, puts the Pommel part on the floor, and spins around kicking him in the chest which causes him to fall back and on the floor Ann uses her flam-imbibed whip to slash his face multiple times.

Ryuji:" Amazing job devil and Panther, that was kickass."

Minako:" Hehe, thanks Skull…."

Minako had been distracted for a second and John took advantage of that by going to punch her in the face but after a bright flash everyone had covered their eyes, and absolutely nothing happened to her.

Ryuji:" Woah! The hell?"

A paper appears on the screen and a dagger stabs into it. On the paper is a description and the name of her Semblance "Mori"

Jaune:" Mori? Oh, like that book we read together, what was it called again? Weekends with Mori?"

Blake:" I don't think that's what it comes from, although I enjoyed that book it was a nice change of pace from my usual books."

Jaune:" Huh? Then where does it come from?"

Ozpin:" It comes from an old forgotten language from decades ago in ancient Vale. It comes from the word Memento Mori which was used to remind people of the fleeting nature of life and the inevitability of death."

Jaune:"…..Woah, so what does Mori do?"

Blake:" It lets her create an Illusion of her target's death, however, she can only use it when she knows about their fears."

Everyone was stunned, absolutely stunned silent, they were not expecting that to be her semblance.

Yang:" I guess she took Memento Mori to heart."

John's shadow had started fidgeting and stepped backward an angry expression all over his face.

Ryuji:" Oh? And where did that confidence from earlier go?

John:" Damn it! Damn you all."

John had collapsed on the floor gasping.

John:" I give up! I give up! You win! Here's my Treasure."

Akira:" Go back to yourself in the real world and confess everything you did."

John:" I understand, I'll confess everything."

John disappears and when Makoto grabs the Treasure the palace starts collapsing.

Minako:" What the?! What's going on?!"

Morgana:" The palace is collapsing!!"

Everyone runs to the elevator, and the Camera pans to the empty first floor. When the elevator door opens, a bright light blinds the audience for a second and they see a Van driving toward the screen, as the meta nav distortion appears on the screen, they appear in the real world outside the building.

Ryuji:" We did it!"

Ann:" Keep your voice down. But we really did it."

Minako:" How about a celebration? We really deserve it."

Akira:" Let's wait until his change of heart before we celebrate."

Makoto:" Look at this Treasure."

Yusuke:" Woah, a Crown, and staff?"

Akira:" Let's go before the bulkheads close for the night."
